• Nicolas (7/5): Hotel très agréable au bord de la plage malgré la salle de bain pas terrible - Le petit déjeuner au bord de la plage. Tres jolie piscine entouré de verdure. Bien placé près des restaurants et de la plage. Salle de bain vieillissante et sans eau chaude dans la douche. Les prises électriques pas pratiques.

Rooms are terrible, on check in A/C in our room didn't work properly, hot water in our room and daughters room didn't work, TV not working and told only one TV in the entire complex does !!! mattresses filthy, sheets stained, mould in A/C unit and bathroom, no globes in bedside lamps, fridge had mould all around the seal, paint peeling from walls, walls and ceilings filthy. Room only cleaned once in 5 days. Whole complex is very run down!! I could go on !

No cupboard for clothes to go into except bedside drawer! toilet lid was disgusting need to update the lids atleast!The pictures on booking.com do not reflect the villas we stayed in! some rooms my look like pictures but our rooms were rundown!

• Fiona (7/5): Great location with a good pool and wonderful staff! - Have stayed here before. Location on the beach is fabulous but a bit further down from the main restaurant strip. Rooms are clean and good but basic. Wet room bathroom. Huge beds and good pillows. Nice pool and the addition of more sun loungers on the beach front is fabulous. Varied food and drinks menu. Reasonable room rates which include breakfast. Staff are fabulous! Extremely helpful and very friendly. All round a great place but a bit of maintenance wouldn’t go astray in the rooms. Perhaps some new curtains and shower heads would make a big difference. Also some tiles in the pool need replacing as they have sharp edges!
• Paul (9/5): Superb - A very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The staff were attentive. The cocktails and all the food we ate were enjoyable. The swimming pool looked clean and cool (didn’t go in). Eating at tables on the sand was pleasant. Room and bathroom were big. Shower heads could do with a descaling - many of the holes were blocked.
• Kate (2/5): Not 3* accommodation. - Location is excellent. Kids loved the pool and enjoyed their breakfast. The whole place needs a deep clean and linen thrown out. Bed sheets and towels were terribly stained. The cup my coffee was served in was so stained it needed chucking also. Glass provided in the room looked like it had not been washed all year. Booking.com states there is a bar, but unless you like Bintang or coke, you are out of luck getting a drink. Bathroom faucets had years and years of limescale built up, and the shower barely worked. Common area (pool) bathrooms provided no toilet paper or soap, the toilets had not been cleaned in a long time and there were cigarette butts on the ground. Pretty disappointed with our choice to stay at ScoobyDoo.

• Vanessa (2/5): Riddled with mould! - The room was mouldy! The bathroom was filthy & more mouldy! They’ve put in a fake wall in the bedroom to cover the mould but even that was coming off the wall! It was so bad I woke with sore throat and watery eyes. As soon as I left the room, within an hour I was fine. The manager said they have no money to renovate so they’re not fixing it. Got a 50% refund but hotels.com take no responsibility for advertising a room that’s a health hazard!
• Michael (6/5): - Location was amazing, but the place is run down, cold showers, tv didn’t work, no fresh towels given, there was a little kids part in the pool, but the rest of the pool is really deep, breakfast was nice.

Location The bathroom was absolutely disgusting Had to get the cleaner back to clean. In the end my wife cleaned the bathroom with there stuff. Snots still stuck on the sink. Dirt stuck on the floor,floor never been scrubbed only swept Tv not working at all. Mosquito nets in the vents ripped or falling apart The toilets for the pool had shit stains under the seat and was just simply disgusting and the hand basins were just as bad

Unfortunately our booking didn’t drop in which can be a problem with booking.com at times. We were very lucky the staff dealt with the situation very well and got a room for us.

Det som drog ner betyget var att personen var lite tråkig samt att det bodde en hel råttfamilj i ett tempel i baren. 5-6 råttor kilade ogenerat upp och ner hela tiden utan att personalen reagerade. Internet var extremt dåligt och svajigt.
• Martin (6/5): - The location and beach frontage were great, that is where the positives ended. The room we were given on check in appeared ok until we realised the air con wasn’t working. We were given a replacement room only to find out the shower had no hot water. Changed to a third room which to say the least was underwhelming. Will not stay here again.

• Leonie (9/5): Spacious, peaceful, close to everything - Excellent location; 100 metres from Arthamas fast ferry (no need for taxi) short walk to 2 yoga studios and shops. Spacious rooms and property, great pool, quiet. Needs new towels and cleaning of old stains on cushions, chairs, tables in eating areas. Would be good to see more women - as a solo female traveller interaction with men can be a bit limited, same gender conversations are culturally easier.

• William (10/5): Great place to stay, 5/5 - The hole place is very clean and good, the pool was clean and lovely to be In, the views from the pool were great straight onto the ocean,lovely and happy staff, Omg it had the best bed I have ever slept on in Bali, and the pillows were great too, breaky was good, I will be staying there again, very happy with them . Heaps trees too The water pressure is not the best but that’s it.

Lots of food options in walking distance, very good wifi. No fridge in the room, but they let me use theirs, so no problem. No cappuccino. Bathroom was basic, but clean and with hot water. The toilets at the pool could be cleaner..
• NaTell (10/5): - The perfect location for our stay. Beachfront with an amazing pool was a perfect way to spend our first afternoon. It was easy walk up or down the beach. Rooms were clean and big. Couldn’t fault it for the price!

Brekky included. Lovely pool and right on beachfront. A bit further from the ‘action’ so a little quieter. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Heaps of choice.

Will be back. - Location was great for us, beautiful outlook, good quality meals in restaurant including breakfast. Rooms very comfortable with cool aircon and comfy bed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would like regular housekeeping, at least daily checks on any needs. Having a kettle for tea and coffee would be an improvement.

What are people expecting for a $30 room right on the beach? It was clean enough and very convenient! The staff were all very nice. The pool did turn my friend hair green. But it was chill other than that. The drinks were good! And the vibe was nice. Good AC and clean sheets are a plus. I give it a 5 star bcs it met my expectations and everyone was super nice.

There was no complimentary water, no tea and coffee facilities, no fridge, bathroom no bench for personal items no PowerPoint in bathroom, hot water ran out after 1 quick shower. Light switches were not placed in odd places. (Outside for inside lighting. ) if the price reflected these small inconveniences I would stay there.

The water and air conditioning didn’t work and there was mold everywhere, even on the headboard near where you sleep. We’ve stayed at some pretty questionable places during our 1 month trip in Indonesia, but this one was so bad we didn’t even stay the night. There are many great bungalows and hotels that are very clean and less money down the beach in waiter direction, no reason to ever stay at ScoobyDoo
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for the price, great beach views - Overall the hotel was good but you have you understand the level of accommodation on this little island. A bit older property and fairly well maintained. Staff very helpful and the sea views are amazing from the pool and bar/restaurant areas.
• margaret (8/5): Good hotel on the beach - Stayed over a week. Mist if the time it was good but there is a beach club a couple of doors away with sometimes over 1000 Chinese for the day. Very loud. There is no shade around the pool and only a handful of sunbeds. They have beanbags on the beach but all the dogs urinate on them. They smell super bad. Linen in rooms and in the restaurant could do with replacing due to staining and holes. The rooms themselves are comfy and they are spacious.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and Spacious in a good location - The room was clean and spacious. However the hot water heater wasn't working well. Each time we take a quick bathe, the hot water only lasted for 15 seconds and after that it would be cold all the way. Luckily it is a hot island so cold water is fine. Staff was helpful and attentive though. Good food nearby too. Wifi was not very strong too. But it's an island and it's a getaway so I wouldnt fault it too much.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location ,average rooms - The location is awesome ,right on the beach but rooms may need updating specifically the pillows. The stuff was helpful but some can get annoying trying to sell you tours, boat tickets or motorbike rentals.
