כשהגענו גילינו שאין במקלחת זרם מים שמאפשר להתקלח (ממש זרזיף).
רק אחרי יומיים הגיעו לתקן והיה שיפור קל בלבד בעצמת הזרם.
ביומיים האחרונים לשהות הייתה הפסקת חשמל בכל הבניין, הדירה בקומה שישית ונאלצנו לעלות ולרדת ברגל, כמובן שהדוד לא עבד אז גם בימים האלו לא יכלנו להתקלח (5 ימים ללא מקלחת סבירה מתוך 7 ימים ששהינו בדירה)
התקשורת עם המארחים לקויה ביותר, הם עונים בעיכוב ניכר, הודענו על הבעיה בחשמל ובמקום להציע פתרונות או דירה חלופית פשוט אמרו לנו ״תודיעו לנו כשהבעיה תיגמר״
היו לי תרופות יקרות במקרר שהתקלקלו והם הציעו פיצוי שאינו מכסה אפילו את עלות התרופות.
הדירה אמנם במיקום מעולה, אבל ממש קלקלה לנו את החופשה בברצלונה.
- Fabrizio (2/5): - Our check-in was scheduled for Thursday, 26 February, after midnight, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
The apartment requires the use of the Akiles app for digital access. However, there were no clear instructions within the app explaining the entry procedure or the sequence of buttons that needed to be pressed. The written check-in instructions provided in the booking conversation were also incomplete and insufficient. As a result, we were unable to enter the building.
We called the advertised 24/7 emergency number three times during the night, and no one answered. Being stranded outside after midnight as a family of four, with no support available, was completely unacceptable. We had no alternative but to book a hotel at our own expense for the first night.
Only after contacting the office the following day were we sent a photo in which the correct button sequence had been manually circled. This essential information had never been provided in advance. Without this clarification, there was simply no realistic way to access the building.
Based on this experience, I strongly do not recommend this apartment to anyone planning to check in outside of regular business hours, especially after the building entrance is closed. If anything goes wrong, you may find yourself without assistance and facing significant inconvenience and additional costs.
Clearer instructions within the app, proper step-by-step guidance, and truly reachable emergency support are absolutely necessary to prevent other guests from experiencing the same situation.

- Maria (4/5): No muy comodo - Las vistas porque daba a la casa Batllo y buena ubicacion para pasear por el centro de la ciudad no habia ventilacion en las habitaciones, una de ella no tiene ventana. Se dormia mal de noche, y tenianos que dejar las puertas de las habitaciones abiertas para ventilar un poco y que entrara el aire. La nevera tenia un problema en la puerta y no se cerraba bien , sonaba un pitido todo el rato hasta que tuvimos que poner un papel nosotros para que encajara bien el cierre. Habian enchufes caidos, secadora de ropa sucia con arena dentro.

Quando ho avuto bisogno, ho scritto e chiamato più volte e mi hanno sempre risposto prontamente e con grande cordialità. La pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata. Una camera da letto è del tutto priva di finestra, mentre l’altra ha una finestra che si affaccia su uno stretto pozzo luce condominiale da cui entra poca luce e arrivano diversi odori, il che costringe a non poterla aprire mai. Stesso problema anche per la finestra del bagno.
Ad ogni modo, si tratta di aspetti tutto sommato sopportabili, che non hanno compromesso in modo significativo il soggiorno.

- VISAN LLC (7/5): Best location in town. - The location of the apartment could not be better. Attractions, metro station, shopping, restaurants, car rentals were well within walking distance. Given that we had kids with us, this meant a lot. Make sure to book the apartment with the city view, that way you will be facing Casa Balto from your balcony. We had a bad experience here due to our flight time. We arrived to the front door around 11PM. the "Akiles" did not allow us to open the door. We were locked out for 20ish minutes before another resident opened the street door for us. The apartment door, on the other hand, was easy.
We first thought that we were the only once with this issue, but then as the days went by, we saw that more than one other user had a same problem. We realized this because our door bell would ring repeatedly late at night.

The remote access system didn’t work and after 40 mins of being on the phone with the property owners, another person who lived in the property let us in. We used an old fashioned key from then on with no issues.

El sistema de check-in es pésimo, envían una llave digital que simplemente no funciona. La atención por teléfono es a través de una empresa que tarda mucho en responder, no sabe exactamente las características del local, por ejemplo pedían para colocar un código en una puerta que carecía de teclado numérico. Estuvimos esperando por una hora y media en la noche y en el frio del invierno de Barcelona. La solución que nos dieron fue pedir a un vecino que nos abra.
El timbre toca en media madrugada y los vecinos fueron muy ruidosos.

- Iryna (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay here! The apartment is modern, spacious, and beautifully designed — everything looks brand new, from the furniture to the equipment. The place was perfectly clean — fresh towels, spotless bedding, and shiny floors. The cleaning staff did an excellent job.
I also loved the smooth check-in process with contactless access — we didn’t need anyone to come and let us in, which made everything so easy and convenient.
The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Barcelona, close to everything: the sea, restaurants, and main attractions.
Everything was just great, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona! 🌿✨
- Cvita (10/5): - This place was just amazing :) Apartmant is spacious and clean, easy accesible, with all the necessities you may need while enjoying your vacation.
Location is I would dare to say the best to stay in BCN, the view of the Casa Batllo any time of the day is priceless, as you walk out of the building everything is there from coffee shops, restaurants, bars, metro & bus stations, brand shops and other. Everything you need to go exploring is just so close.

On l’a signalé à 22h20. On a rappelé 2 fois de plus à 23h20 et 00h20. On nous l’a apporté à 01h du matin alors qu’on était couché. Il a fallu se rhabiller et descendre 6 étage car la porte de l’immeuble ne s’ouvrait pas… le tout en se faisant mal parler au telephone…

אין התייחסות ומענה לדברים שצריך.כמו שנתקעים ברחוב כמה שעות כי הדירה נפתחת ע"י אפליקציה שמלאה בתקלות ואין טיפול מהיר בנושא. לא שווה את הסכום והמיקום לא כזה מרכזי.
- Kian (3/5): - I couldn’t enter the property on arrival which left me outside for 4 hours waiting to get into the property I spoke to many people in the phone who could not help me. I went through all the instructions on how to enter many time and could still not enter the property this led me to look for another hotel to stay out as I arrived at the new hotel I had a call from the property saying an agent had arrived to let me in so I then had to travel back to the property to gain access which I didn’t get in till after 12:00 am. This is unacceptable and would like a refund for the ridiculous scandal which left me outside on the street with all of our luggage after travelling all day.

I am writing to formally file a complaint and request full compensation regarding my recent stay at your apartment in Barcelona from 26 July 2025 to 31 July 2025.
Unfortunately, my experience was deeply unsatisfactory due to a series of serious issues, as outlined below:

1. Lack of Physical Reception and Costly Communication
There was no physical reception or on-site assistance. I was forced to make international calls using my mobile phone to reach your team, which cost me approximately 1,000 SAR (~€250) just to receive basic support. This added an unexpected and unfair financial burden to my trip.
2. Difficult and Unfriendly Access System
Accessing the apartment required downloading an unfamiliar smart key application. The physical key for the building was placed inside the apartment, which meant I had to call again just to get inside. This system is not user-friendly and caused significant delays.
3. Delayed Check-In Despite Early Availability
Although I was told the cleaner had finished by 1:00 PM, I was denied access until 2:50 PM, just ten minutes before the official 3:00 PM check-in time. This left me and my family — including children and luggage — waiting on the street in uncomfortable conditions for nearly two hours.
4. Locked Bedroom Door and Costly Emergency Repair
One of the bedrooms was locked from the inside, with no key provided. Despite multiple follow-ups, your team left me without resolution for over a day and a half. We were unable to use that bedroom during our stay — essentially reducing a two-bedroom apartment to one. Worse, some of our belongings were stuck inside. I eventually had to hire a local maintenance service to open the door at a personal cost of €460. Thankfully, no one — especially children — was trapped inside.

- Patricia (6/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Barcelona, the apartment was in a brilliant location. - The apartment was situated on Passieg de Gracia , the metro station was very close as were buses and taxis. There was a lift, and the Nuki app to access worked very well. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants close by. We felt safe in this area. We could walk to Boqueria Markets, El Born, Many small supermarkets and a wonderful supeermarket in the Nord Engles Shopping Centre The apartment was very tired, there was only one mirror that was in the bathroom. The dryer was not working, however a repair agent was sent quite quickly to fix the problem. We were booked in for 1 week, only 3 toilet rolls and 1 bar of soap. For 3 people this did seem inadequate.

- Oliver (10/5): Amazing, clean and great located apartment. - The apartment is in an amazing location, and is exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen is also well equipped, I read a few reviews saying the apartment was dark and the lift shaft smelled and the beds were uncomfortable, but this was not our experience at all. The beds were extremely comfortable, although the bedrooms do view into another building it does not detract from the experience in the apartment from any way. It was an amazing place to spend our week long stay in Barcelona, the staff are also easily accessable and provide exceptional service, especially when we accidently got locked out they helped us immediately. I highly reccomend this apartment for its location and amenities. Only qualms with the apartment was that though there were some items provided such as washing, dishwasher tablets and bin bags for 5 people over a week long stay we had to go out and purchase more, when we had payed over €1800 total for the apartment It would have been better to have some extra items so we would not have to waste tablets or bags. Also, whilst the actual beds are extremely comfortable, the sofa bed was not as comfortable to sleep on, if there was a sort of mattress topper it would have made the experience so much better as there wouldn't have been someone having a less comfortable night. But other than that this is an exempliary apartment which hosted us amazingly. I will definitley look at re-booking if we return to the city.

The apartman is in the 6th floor, the elevator is very tiny and other residents use it too. So good luck to go up by foot with your luggages!
If you are fortunate you receive the apartman what you've seen in the advestisement. But if you are not the lucky one, you receive the other apartman and instead of Casa Batlo you have view of a noisy schoolyard. The 2 bedrooms are two dark caves in reality with no fresh air and natural light. The sofa in the livingroom is unsuitable for sleeping. Every bed is uncomfortable.
In the kitchen the coffee machine and the electric kettle did not work. The toilet was flowing in rhe bathroom.
All the apartman was dirrty and the man who handed it over wanted to give us dirty bedsheets.
The staff did not speak English.
We received back our deposit one month after the check-out with the support of Booking..com customer services.

Bathroom is small.
Nuki door locking mechanism did not work every time.
You must have personal data on your mobile, as the wifi signal is poor when you outside wanting to enter, then the Nuki app does not connect to the wifi and you need to use your own mobile data.

View from two rooms and kitchen into a very noisy, smelly elevator shaft, see picture. No view of the street, no balcony. Everything used and old. We are now afraid that, like other vacationers, we will not get our deposit back. No communication and no answer to our question where is the balcony with the look to a famous Casa Batllo. Incredible!

Decor and furniture was a bit worn.
Organised a time to collect keys and had to wait a further hour.

2- The smart lock isn’t user friendly and we weren’t able to open the street door with smart lock for almost all of our stay which made our stay complicated, we are 5 people.
3- We didn’t sleep the first night at all, me, my husband and our 3 kids, because the tenants of the appartement in front of ours did a huge party, they were having very loud music, people coming over talking loud at 2 am …

- Ólöf (5/5): good location of the appartment but some things can be fixed. - location was great, easy to walk alot of places and take the train. washer worked good not very clean uppon arrival. poor english amongst the staff, we had to wait 2 hours in front of building and no one came to open the doors for us ( there was an app to open but it never worked for the lobby door but it only worked to open the door to the appartment)
Dryer did not want to turn on and handy man came once, then it didn’t want to turn on again and they said they would send another one but never came.
the only windows in the appartment are in the living room, the bedrooms and toilet did not have any window.
the view from our only windows was inside the courtyard (see picture) not the view of casa battló.
upon arrival there was alot of dust/hairs on the floors (poorly cleaned)
- Virginia (9/5): Great apt in Barcelona! - Location can't be beat. Close to public transport, restaurants and small supermarkets. We arrived earlier than expected, and the main office was able to accommodate us and send an agent. Our welcome agent was terrific. Explained appliances, security protocol, signed us into excellent Wi-Fi, and gave us a list of recommended local restaurants. Apt was very clean, well-equipped, and in good working order. Security at the apt bldg was good, in theory. Other residents didn't follow protocol about locking doors, and the concierge wasn't at all engaged. Trash was a problem. Not enough liners, I'm glad I had some extras. Trash had to be taken around the block, instructions were sketchy, and I don't remember this being spelled out in the booking agreement. Office personnel were kind enough to send photo of receptacle location and more specific instructions. Office phone numbers on instruction sheet were not What's App numbers, so I spent $ just trying to get trash instructions!

I love to wak - The location is great and the kitchen is nice and big if you are making your own food instead of eating outside. the staff were friendly. You can find way better options for apartments for the same price or a bit higher. The furniture is beaten up and looks very used. The sink was plugged and we have called them to fix it when we arrived, but no one came. Pictures of the apartment are definitely not the same as they are on Booking! Our flight landed earlier in Barcelona around 7:00 Am and we had to wait until 2:00 Pm to get in the apartment. We asked to early check-in, but was not possible. No reception desk, no security personnel, no one was there at the time we arrived to help us with the bags. The lady came up after to take the payment.

The walls of the rooms were dirty and market. Exterior doors and elevator near the bedrooms extremely noisy. The first photos of the apartment showed a view of "Passeig da Gracia". Actually the apartment was on the opposite side.

Then when we arrived, the apartment didn't have view or balcony. They showed a different apartment.
