Guest Reviews
- Richard Bray 1973 (10/5): Lovely little place - Clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay, easy to access, lovely quaint little cottage Owner was a little confrontational as if I hadnt made a booking. Could have approached it differently.
- Louise (9/5): -
- Janice (10/5): -
- Martin (10/5): Perfect stay in a perfect village - Everything was fantastic. More than we could have expected Nothing to not like
- Simon (10/5): - I
- Valerie (8/5): - Location was great as near to relatives. Walking to the nearest eatery was perfect. Steps up to the front door would benefit from a rail for more elderly people. The steps although not particularly steep we’re triangular shaped so care needs to be taken when you are older.
- Caroline (10/5): Very welcoming property. We didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank y - Quaint and beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable.
- Philip (8/5): -

- christopher (8/5): Lovely location - Nicely furnished good kitchen and lovely bedroom. It was quite cold and wet for the time of year it was a little draughty and no heat from radiators .
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (8/5): Cosy, nicely furnished, comfortable cottage, ideal for a short break - self catering so not applicable everything was perfect for our stay
- Karen (9/5): Everything we needed for a single night stay - Well equipped, peaceful, large comfortable bed.
- Susan (9/5): Lovely little cottage - Lovely quiet comfy cottage. Short walk to local pub. Great base to see other parts of Gower. Would definitely recommend.
- Rachel (10/5): Gorgeous place with lovely local walk options and cosy pubs - We had a wedding just down the road from the property and it was a really nice option compared to others in the area. Everything you need and nice and clean Stairs are a spiral staircase so may be harder for older people to navigate
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was beautiful. We stayed there to attend a wedding but will definitely be going back soon. The only issue we had was taxi’s not being available to get us too and from the wedding venue. We had the opportunity to book with the owners of the cottage before hand and should have taken that opportunity.
- Jojo (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location, lovely walk to the nearby pub the welcome inn where we had fab food. The owner checked on us really friendly and welcoming.
- Lister (10/5): Very restful, comfortable and quiet. Went to Three cliffs and visited relatives - Lovely welcome, my dog made new friends as well!!!! Lovely peaceful village
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -

- Scott (8/5): Very comfy nice and quiet. - Very clean. Cosy, not far from beaches , only booked for one night but it was perfect. Nothing not to like about it if your happy to do your washing up and aren't looking for a dish washer washing machine which we weren't then the property for us was fine .
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Lewis (10/5): A truly excellent stay in a lovely location - Anyone looking to explore the Gower will find Willow Mews to be an incredible experience.
Hidden away in Llanrhidian, with good parking and two nice pubs (one with a lovely beer garden) just a few minutes walk down the road, it’s a great place for a short getaway and the perfect place for a longer one exploring what the Gower has to offer.
Willow Mews itself was such a cozy place to stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, with great views of the alpacas in the fields surrounding it. The downstairs area has really good facilities, with all the kitchen equipment you’d need (kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and Sage oven) and a comfy sofa with a smart TV when you just want to unwind. The place feels very traditional whilst also being very modern, and it was absolutely spotless.
Martin & Fiona were excellent hosts too - their instructions on how to get there were great, and when there was a small issue with the coffee machine Fiona came around right away and fixed it for us and gave us some recommendations for food that evening.
Next time we’re down in that part of Wales, we will absolutely be checking if Willow Mews is free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Beech (10/5): Exceptional - It were nice lovely bed. Everything were fine.
- Hollie (10/5): Amazing - beautiful place! - Beautiful place! The owner came in to check that all was well and I explained I was unable to get a taxi to and from the event I was attending and they offered a list of numbers and even offered a lift for me! Nothing - it was a perfect stay.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chelsea (10/5): Lovely place, very comfortable bed and owners really friendly and accommodating - Lovely cottage near the village
- Amie (10/5): Excellent accommodation, very clean. Would highly recommend! - Amazing accommodation. Very clean, quirky deco which we loved! We needed a taxi to a venue and couldn't get one and the owner kindly took us there himself. We were ever so grateful. Really went above and beyond for us! Couldn't thank you enough. This place a perfect for a few nights away from the hustle and busstle. Nice a quiet. Perfect for couples. Thank you again! Nothing it was perfect!

- Ceri (9/5): Compact but comfortable. - Small but comfortable well equipped for a short stay. Tricky front door lock!
- John (9/5): Fantastic cottage - The whole cottage was immaculate. Lovely kitchen and spiral staircase leading upstairs. Lots of extra touches like a Bluetooth speaker and features of the cottage's walls.
I cannot remember hearing any noise during my two days. Not sure I can answer that.

- Poppy (10/5): Cosy little get-away in the beautiful Gower. - Willow Mews was super cosy, had great facilities, the comfiest bed, and was in a great location for our visit to the Gower. Loved everything about it and will definitely be back in the future. No complaints.
- Roger (8/5): A nice place in a perfect location. - Willow Mews was spacious and stylish. The WiFi worked well. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The kitchenette was well equipped. The place was well heated, and we found it hard to get it to cool down enough for a comfortable sleep. As we had been walking the Coast Path, we left our muddy boots outside, but it would have been better if there was somewhere covered where we could have left them out of the rain.
- Abbie (10/5): So lovely. Will be back to visit and stay for longer next time. - The attention to detail in the property is amazing and the hosts are so friendly and attentive. A pub with great food and drinks which is a 5 minute walk away. An ice tray in the freezer, Bluetooth speaker and also an ironing board. Everything we could’ve needed we had! Super cosy and beautifully decorated home. Nothing. Simply stunning.
- Antony (10/5): Comfortable well looked after place to stay would totally recommend - So cosy and had everything you could want at your finger tips Nothin loved it been there couple of times
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect little stay - Lovely clean place. Everything we needed for our stay . Great communication from the owners who also offered us an early check in. Great location for the wedding we attended at Old walls. There's nothing not to like about this fabulous little accommodation.

- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (8/5): Very good -
- Jacobus (10/5): The venue and friendliness of the hosts were great and had everything you needed for a cumfy stay - The breakfast was as good as you make it yourself. It is a self catering room and all the appliances and facilities were great and of good quality. We went out for breakfast and there are some wonderful places with views of the Salt Marsh to eat Not much. Maybe that we only stayed there for 1 night. Would have loved to stay there longer.
- Kathleen (1/5): Shocking customer care and experience - I did not stay the keysafe number I was provided with was incorrect unable to call as signal is extremely poor local taxi driver tried yo help but had to go back to the wedding venue and pay for accommodation. Hosts were most unhelpful and refuse to give a refund I am extremely disappointed and shocked st lack of care I have photo evidence and all the events including an email I sent few days before asking if there was key safe number no reply so I used original email they provided with pin code. I am hoping thar booking.com will assist me in getting a refund Shocking customer care

- Clare (10/5): Charming cottage - Lovely little cottage...beautifully clean, modern and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Lovely cottage, great facilities and very clean. Sorry - found the smell of all the scented sticks/reed diffusers a bit overpowering.
- Gavin (9/5): Great little cottage - Lovely little cottage fully equipped with everything needed. Lovely owners. Quiet location, nice pub nearby (easy walk). Clean and well maintained. Nothing.
- Charlotte (8/5): Very good - Great bed. Loved the quirkiness of the cottage. Fab communication. High standard of decor. Great location for visiting the Gower and walking. Just a little on the expensive side - maybe £10 cheaper
- Stanlake (7/5): Disappointing. But fine for Oldwalls wedding. - Llanrhidian is a beautiful village. The design of the Mews is good, but the finish is poor. There were problems with dog hairs, a lot of spiders, and meagre supply of toilet roll.
- Sandra (8/5): Generally an excellent access to Gower peninsula and its beaches - Lovely designed property, very clean, excellent facilities. Nothing
- Appleby (9/5): Very relaxing/comfy stay. - Super comfy. Very attractively furnished/decorated. Owners were very accommodating. Lovely area. As far as I could work out there wasn't free wifi.
- Kathryn (10/5): Lovely stay - Owner very accommodating, good directions, lovely and clean Nothing
- Fay (10/5): Exceptionally helpful. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Thank you. -
- Paula (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (9/5): A lovely cottage near to the wedding venue and within walking distance of the local pub with excellent food and drink. - Clean modern with excellent facilities Nothing
- Cerianne (9/5): Peaceful bolthole, perfect for couples. - Great property, has everything you need for a home away from home stay. Vaulted ceiling is fabulous & the bed is super comfortable. Local pub that serves food is within walking distance. Mini-supermarket (Nisa) is a 15 min drive. Parking space is not allocated and we ended up parking down the street as someone else was parked where we were told to park. Not an big issue as we didnt have loads of luggage.

- Sally (10/5): Cute cottage - great amenities. - This a cute little cottage in a delightful village. It had all the amenities and a comfy bed. The Wi-Fi was great and there was a really helpful book for guests about the local area. We arrived after dark and it was pouring with rain, so we couldn’t see the name of the cottage or color of the house or find the key box, that were all in the directions. I think I scared the owner to death when we went to her house to ask (apologies).
