Guest Reviews
- Ryan (10/5): Wonderful experience - Perfect location.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Apartment was very quiet and gorgeous.
Would definitely stay again!
- Farion (1/5): I don't recommend staying here for lack of communication and last minute cancellation - We were not able to stay because our reservation was canceled upon our arrival to Rome. This was our honeymoon trip and they canceled the reservation we had booked 2 months previously at the last minute once we arrived in Rome at the airport. Then they told us they rebooked a similar place but we were unable to contact the replacement property to confirm our stay. We ended up making 1 phone call to the Best Western Globus hotel and got an amazing room instantly. The lack of communications from the Residenza de San Pietro property was very disheartening and made our decision to stay elsewhere very easy.
- Magdalena (10/5): - Fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk from Piazza St Pietro, with a great variety of restaurants, pizza places, and cafés nearby. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Super nice option was breakfast which you can prepare in the shared kitchen - equipped with toast bread, fresh pastries, jam, fruit, and coffee and more. Highly recommended!
- Malgorzata (9/5): Very pleasant and comfortable rooms with a very welcoming and helpful host - Perfect location close to the Vatican and the train station in a very nice, residential area. The property offers a kitchen and breakfast area shared with another room fully equipped with free coffee and pastries. All was good
- Linas (8/5): -
- Robert (10/5): - Delightful, central and welcoming place to stay when visiting Rome! Loved the location and the warm welcome. The host was very responsive.
The space was generous and comfortable and the amenities within the room, bathroom and shared kitchen were very thoughtful!
Would definitely recommend and stay here again if in Rome!
- Priti (10/5): -
- Maria (1/5): Very bad - Position close to Vatican The property didn t answer our phone calls not even 1 time from the 10 times we tried to call them during our 4 nights stay. They didn t inform us that the water geating system is a boiler so one of us had to take showers with cold water. They have a hallway where you can easily leave your bags if you arrive earlier, but they just didn’t answer us and we had to stay 3 hours carying them around. If you are a little bigger or have a bigger bag you won t be able to fit through the entrance door. The room was extremely cold and when we tried to inform them they just ignored our calls and wrote to us that it s not cold, they see the thermostat. So you’re supposed to just sit in the temprature that THEY consider is ok, with no extra blankets, and they also didn t provide them when we asked. There is a sauna in the photos but it doesn t work, at least we thought we can warm a little bit by turning it on, but no succes… just freezed. The sofa bed is horrible to sleep on. At the check out we left our bags on that hallway after agreeing with them the time to take them back, but when we came to take them back and the car that was taking us to the airport was waiting for us in front of the building they just stopped answering us, we had luck to get inside the building with someone else, and then we just started knocking on the door for 5 minutes that the cleaning ladies were inside and just ignoring us.
- Silvia Susana (8/5): -
- TAYFUN (10/5): Great place for couples -
- Veronika (10/5): - Best location breakfast available for free :)
- Joselito (8/5): Toller Aufenthalt in Rom.

- Johnny Rou (8/5): Cool, comfortable and nice. - Near vatican city, very easy to find. Very comfortable. I could have been better if the bathroom have exhaust fan.
- Csaba (10/5): Excellent accommodation in an ideal location - Very quiet place near the Vatican. Comfortable and clean, with excellent Wi-Fi.
This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in Italy. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful and she accommodated a personal request we had.
The kitchen was well equipped and full of freebies.
Aber ok, why not.
Die E-Mail Nachricht von Stefy mit dem Pincode haben wir zu spät erhalten, was Telefone bedingte. Wieso bekamen wir den Pincode nicht von Ihnen (Booking) genügend früh bekanntgegeben?
- Val (7/5): Comfortable enough for a short stay - The location No balcony - no view - situated across from a children’s nursery so was quite noisy but ok
- Gerard (10/5): Great trip in a wonderful city with a wonderful apartment - Location was so central to all sites
Big spacious apartment , well equipped
Fully stocked kitchen with an enormous amount of food available It was all perfect
- Maria (10/5): - Struttura in posizione perfetta, a pochi passi da Piazza San Pietro. Ideale per le famiglie, molto pulita e con uno staff cordiale e disponibile.
- paula (8/5): Situación estupenda, desayuno variado, personal amable -

- Juan Camilo (10/5): - Everything ist well organized, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is excellent. The location is mega cool- close to everything. You can walk to the Vatican ; it takes just 5 min.
Excellent job!
- Victor (10/5): Lovely way to begin our vacation - A wonderful stay in a great value room.
There is a very well stocked shared kitchen with fresh pastries and coffee. Really couldn't have asked for more.
Hosts really looked after us, they are such sweet people.
We will book again when we return!
- Yasamin (9/5): Superb -
- Dylan (9/5): Great location for Vatican visit. - Great location for visiting the Vatican and Castle. N/A
- Pierre (10/5): Exceptional - The welcome Stairs but it is an old building
- Sourbis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ecurle (7/5): I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN. - I had trouble locating the Residenza St Pietro. No signs on street to identify the hotel. Neighbors told me where to go. Pressed doorbell to get access. It took a couple of times to identify myself as a booking.com customer with reservations. Then I got inside. Instructions to get keys to room involved access code to lock box to get keys. Unfortunately, the lock box number was not correct. Tried new code. GOT KEYS. Instructions on how to use keys was not adequate. Instructions that rooms were inside the door identified as Number 2. I fiddled with keys, got door 2 to open. found rooms inside door #2. Room was small, but nice. NO VIEWS OF VATICAN OR SAN PIETRO CATHEDRAL FROM ROOMS like those shown on booking website. IT TOOK ME TIME TO FIND THE PLACE (#18). IT TOOK ME ABOUT AN HOUR TO GET INTO THE BUILDING. GET KEYS FROM SECURITY BOX (WRONG CODE PROBLEM) WORK WITH KEYS TO FIGURE OUT WHICH KEYS WORKED. Neighbors showed me which key to use to get back into building if I went out. THIS WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.
- Suarez (9/5): The room was ok but only for one or two people - Good location The room has to be only for 1 or 2 people, we were 3, so with the sofa bed the room was extremely small, no space to put the luggage and the bathroom was so close therefore no privacy at all.
- Luca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gordan (9/5): Top stay in Rome - Location and overall experience is great Info that kitchen is communal facility was hard to catch this time. But that's probably on me. Also bath needs upkeep and has seen better days.
- James (10/5): Forever in our hearts, this nice place! - We had a wonderful time here in this safe and perfect place. 3 minutes walking far from St. Peter's Square and walking distance to most attractions.
Plenty of coffee, baked goods, sweets, fruit and juices, even wine etc.
The host was wonderful, the room very comfy and warm.
See you again!
- Irina (10/5): Worth the price, but make sure to ask in advance what are you paying for. So your expectations will meet the reality. - The location was as we needed safe and quiet as we were traveling with kid. Very convenient and close to public transportation. The jacuzzi and sauna in unit was there. But.. all but’s in “didn’t like” section.
The owners were amazing! VERY helpful! Sweet and thoughtful.
Very old and gorgeous house. A lot of air from the windows. Who hate smoking be aware. There is smoke coming from everywhere. Even when windows are closed.
Not very clean. Just enough.
Don’t have another set of bedding neither second blanket. But stated there are two beds. So my mom slept on the couch on fuzzy not super fresh blankets…
The jacuzzi. Not clean. I cleaned it myself for my baby. Also we figured afterwards we “didn’t have” said jacuzzi in facilities and it was turned off remotely.
The sauna. I was planning to use it when I get home. It has to be asked to turn on remotely as well. I made a reservation and by the time I was about to hop in it was already off without any warning. So I paid for nothing. I would take the same suit for cheaper if I don’t need that sauna and jacuzzi. It was my birthday in Rome😒
- Cedric (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Everything was brilliant - The proximity to Vatican is amazing.
The windows are glazed so well you can't hear any noise. The sauna is a great feature, especially as you can use it at anytime.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
- Marius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ginny (10/5): Excellent location and very comfortable room - Elegant and spacious room. Really good value for money!
The location is excellent, only a few minutes walking distance to Saint Peter's Cathedral and walking distance to most attraction.
The host was awesome! He brought our luggage up to our room and showed us around the property and explained every detail.
The kitchen was fully stocked with all kinds of bakery items and with milk, juice, fruits, even wine into the fridge. Candy was everywhere.
Day and night this place was quiet. We loved our stay here! Thank you! We highly recommend it!
- Taylor (8/5): Clean room, great breakfast, decent location - The room was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was shared and not in the room but the breakfast spread and espresso machine was great! The location was pretty good but we did have to use some sort of public transportation to get to most of the things we wanted to do We had some trouble figuring out how to work the AC unit so it was really hot our first night but one of the attendants helped us figure it out the next day (that was kinda on us I guess).
- Debbie (10/5): Great hosts perfect place to stay. - It felt like a little bit of home and a hotel all mixed in. We had our own room but also the use of a shared kitchen. Don’t be put off by this it was lovely. Our own shelf in the fridge and our own table with everything you need for a light breakfast plus lots of cakes, biscuits and fruit. A comfy room with comfy beds too and really close to the Vatican and train station. Nothing not to like
- Tiaiti (10/5): Safe, perfect location, amazing hosts, cozy room, stocked kitchen, great neighbours! - Traveling solo, I couldn’t have felt safer in this neighborhood—it was the perfect spot! Everything I needed was within arm’s reach, from a cozy café and restaurant right downstairs to a handy convenience store just around the corner. The accommodation was spot on including the shared kitchen - absolutely amazing! It was always stocked with breakfast goodies like juice, bread, and more which made mornings so easy. I also sat down to breakfast with my Norwegian neighbors who were super cool.
The hosts really went above and beyond for me from kindly bringing my suitcase to my room to offering a cleaning service when I needed it. My room was spacious and super comfortable—perfect for kicking back and relaxing, especially when the weather wasn’t cooperating.
And the location? Couldn’t have asked for better. It’s just a stone’s throw from the Vatican, and I found I could easily walk to several historic sites. I truly appreciated everything about this stay! Not much I didn't like. Ants were around but not a problem.
- Doreen (9/5): A wonderful visit to Rome and within walking distance to Hop on, Hop off bus tours and Vatican City! - Great location! We enjoyed having access to a fully equipped kitchen during our entire stay.Pastries, yogurt, bread, fruit, juice and water were replenished each day for breakfast which was very convenient. The staff was very kind and friendly. Everything was great!
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - After a very rough few days previously we were so warmly welcomed in. Our bags were kindly brought upstairs also. The equipped kitchen with various breakfast items and snacks was such a beautiful unexpected addition. Cannot recommend enough. Your kindness restored my faith in humanity ❤️
- Margaret (9/5): Great communication and nice breakfast - Nice Small. No gathering space other than kitchen
- Vinita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmel (8/5): Pleasant. Beautiful location. Very calm and reflective. Lovely breakfast and clean. - Closeness to the Vatican and excellent restaurants. Safe location. Shower hot water is complicated to use and hard to control temperature. Once controlled it can be scalding.
- Cristian (9/5): Excellent location - Excellent location It is an apartment that is not optimized for tourists with kids. It will work better for an old couple.
- Mei (8/5): I like the room and variety of breakfast, as well as the location. - Near to St. Pietro Basilica. Well equipped, clean. The staff answer questions very fast. It was pity that there was no hot water for taking a shower. The boiler might be out of order.
- Ada (10/5): Great Stay, very comfortable. - Easy checkin, quiet location. Very clean facility and good breakfast. No elevator so might not be convenient for traveler with many luggages.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Per (10/5): We had a very good experience at Residenza a San Pietro -
- Diane (10/5): We WILL BE back and WILL ONLY stay at Our Roman Holiday Residenca a San Pietro! - The Location was within walking distance of Vatican City And The train station! The morning breakfast was divine as was the Wonderful Welcome Gifts in our suite! I was disappointed that we didn't book an ENTIRE WEEK here!
- Marcus (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent experience celebrating my son's birthday. The stay wasn't longer.
- Ajay (8/5): Excellent - It was at a great location, breakfast was brilliant and timing from morning to evening made it so perfect. It didn’t have a typical hotel feel, more like Airbnb and as we booked it thinking it would be a hotel style, we were surprised when we reached.
- Alishah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Temur (8/5): Very good -
- Fatmagül (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great, all day breakfast was great, classic Italian style apartment, the cleaning product odor in the building was perfect. The owner was so kind and helpful. Thanks to him. The street excavation by Rome Municipality in front of apartment at 6.30 a.m. was so terrible. We did not sleep in the room.
- Goran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Akl (6/5): It was medium level - It was clean and near the Vatican, but the windows is not double and hear everything from the street.
- Katie (9/5): Superb - Everything was wonderful! The bed was super comfy and the room itself was lovely. We especially appreciated the selection for breakfast, and being so close to St. Peter's was awesome! Location was great and the staff were so helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
- Niall (9/5): great people, great place, great value, we loved it. thanks - beautiful old building with lots of culture. facilities in our room were amazing, fabulous bed, hot tub and sauna😍 it’s quite noisy being so old. the street noise is loud and next door apartments. but it was quiet at night so we slept great
- Tamsin (9/5): Fantastic location, pretty part of the city. Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Definitely would recommend. - Fantastic location, cool and airy. Well decorated and very comfy beds. The road outside was quite noisy but I think this is the case in all of Rome. Everything else made up for it and we would stay again.
- Andrzej (9/5): Really good place to stay, having in mind room, location, breakfast and general comfort of stay. - Excellent place in good location, really close to Vatican City and not very far from the other parts of Rome. Comfortable room for 3 people, with all the items you need for your stay and don't need to bring in your luggage. Nice and well equipped kitchen in case you would like to prepare some food, but usually no need as the included breakfast had a big variety of something to eat and drink, not only during breakfast but also just to eat/drink something during the day. Breakfast not only with sweet Italian style but also sandwich/pizza type. Nice bars and restaurants nearby, and as mentioned - quite close to Vatican, San Pietro Basilica and Museum. Good contact with the owner, always helpful and providing information. Generally this is something which doesn't matter. If you stay in big city, you have to be prepared that there are various sounds in the neighbourhood and surroundings. It is not about that the residence is in noisy location, but from time to time some sounds will happen. You just need to get used to these and generally no issue with that.
- Sonia (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Lovely location. - N/a
- Johnson (9/5): Superb -
- Myrna (10/5): We had a wonderful stay in the Eternal City of Rome! - We didn’t expect so much variety for breakfast to choose from. The location was convenient to the St. Peter’s Cathedral where we attended Sunday mass. There were lots of good restaurants in the vicinity, too. More important is, Vincent, who attended to our needs and was considerate of our late checkout, as we have to do the Vatican Museum and Sistene Chapel Tour in the morning before taking train to Naples. He allowed us to leave our luggages. Thank you, Vincent - you deserve all the accolades for being so helpful. We will definitely recommend Flaminia San Pietro to our friends and will stay here again on our next visit to Rome someday!
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lior (7/5): Great potential that suffered from problems - The location was great, and the host was wonderful. Breakfast was very rich and the facilities in the kitchen and the room were excellent. There was a water pressure problem throughout the vacation which caused the water temperature be cold. This was a very big turn off. The host said it was an area problem so there was no solution.
- Laura (9/5): Superb - The location was great, the room comfortable and the home made breakfast excellent
- Wen (9/5): Superb -
- Sonia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guirong (10/5): The location is great. The apartment has everything i need and it is very clean. - The location is great. The apartment has everything i need and it is very clean. none

- George (10/5): Exceptional - Very kind and helpfull owners.
Nice location
- Miranda (10/5): All the best😁 - Very nice and cosy, top location👍
- Alison (9/5): Very hospitable and kind owners - nothing was too much trouble & we had everything we needed. - Great location close to the Vatican and bus stops nearby that go into the centre of town. Having said that, it's also possible to see all the key sights by foot from here. For us, a perfect location. Our bed mattress wasn't quite as comfortable as we are used to, but for a three night stay it was okay.
- Patrick (6/5): could have been amazing, but the night noise killed the stay - The place (2 separate rooms in a flat, with a shared kitchen) was nice and clean. The great part was the breakfast / food with plenty of cakes / coffee / tea, refilled nearly daily. The jacuzzi, although prominent on the web site, took an hour to fill, but most unpleasant was the window noise insulation (disastrous), on a rather noisy street, thus sleep was very poor. This made the overall stay not very nice as both parents could not sleep well
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
