- Stefano (7/5): - La posizione sicuramente è il punto forte di questo b&b Il palazzo all'interno del quale è inserito è molto antico e messo male, le scale a mio parere sono troppo pericolose e ripide soprattutto per chi viene con una famiglia con una bambina piccola. Pur aspirando ad essere un posto accogliente e ben ristrutturato si poteva investire qualche soldo in più sulla comodità del letto che sembra fatto di acqua e per niente comodo.

Elena was easily reachable in the event of any questions and responded quickly. It isn't a B&B! As a British, B&B is different - they serve breakfast! So this is a nice place which offers rooms.

- Sabine (8/5): Würde wieder nutzen, nur ein anderes Zimmer. - Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Kommunikation hat reibungslos funktioniert. Wir hatten das Deluxe 3 Bettzimmer und haben 3 Tage dort verbracht. Mit jedem Tag haben wir das Zimmer mehr gemocht. Prinzipiell kann man mit den Dingen, die in der Küche sind frühstücken. Das ist auch fein. Zimmer werden gereinigt. Mitten im Zentrum, so Lage sehr gut. Fenster geht auf eine dunkle Gasse, so Zimmer ist dunkel und hat keinen Balkon oder so. Der Aufgang zum B&B ist zuerst etwas ernüchternd, wenn man es weiß, dann ist es ok. Jedes andere Zimmer würde ich buchen, das, was wir hatten eher nicht noch einmal. Es ist etwas laut, aber auch das passt schon. Auf dem Foto sieht das Zimmer freundlicher aus!

Леглата са удобни. Имахме малък проблем с мивката, на който персоналът реагира веднага, въпреки че беше почивен ден. Освен това апартаментът е на много добро място за разглеждане както на Салерно, така и на околностите, тъй като се намира в сърцето на стария град - близо до ЖП гарата, до пристанището и до мястото, откъдето се хващат автобусите за Амалфи. Престоят ни в B&B Dei Mercanti не само оправда, но дори надхвърли очакванията ни! Кухненският бокс е оборудван със всичко необходимо. Единственият малък проблем, който забелязах, е, че няма прибори за хранене (ножове, вилици, лъжици). Имайте го предвид.

- Ovcharova (9/5): Positive experience! - Very kind and attentive guidance from the very beginning! Opened doors remotely, gave great tips on where to eat, and made sure we were comfortable and warm in the room (as it was the very beginning of the season and a bit chilly). The room for two was well-maintained and clean. Overall, a very positive impression. The only minor drawback was the old boiler, which seemed to have quite a bit of limescale inside. As a result, the hot water quality was not ideal. A small suggestion would be to descale it, for example using citric acid or lemon solution. But otherwise very much satisfied with the experience and can recommend it for other people too!

The owner of the apartments started making phone calls 4 days before arrival and offering other options for an additional fee. Instead of accepting an advance payment for accommodation. We had a 4-day trip planned along the Amalfi coast. Three booked apartments for three days in different cities were prepaid on the website of booking.com. And we had no problems with the payment. We do not know why the apartment owner causes such problems and does not guarantee the safety of accommodation and payment.

- Simona (8/5): Bello, però.. - Camera curata nel gusto e accogliente, veramente molto carina, anche il bagno. Pulitissima. Posizione ottima, proprio nel centro storico e silenziosa. Forte odore di fogne dal bagno. Materassi duri e scomodi, cuscini rigidi e pieni di bozzi. Parcheggi nel centro storico e nei dintorni molto costosi.

A mi me dejó muy conforme , como no me gustó lo del baño , me permitieron mientras estaba desocupad - Lindo cómodo , casco histórico , no está cerca la estación . Pero es lo que yo quería . Muy bien ubicado . Casco histórico pero cerca de la parte comercial. , tampoco está muy lejos el puerto . Para tomar ferry Fue un error mío pero hay una habitación con baño externo privado . - Irene (8/5): - The manager was very responsive to our communications. We were confused about a couple of things and had a problem or two and he was quick and attentive. The apartment is very clean. Understand that the bathroom reserved for this rental is directly in front of the entrance to the apartment, around the hall from the room. There was little traffic in the apartment and I did not feel uncomfortable about the situation but it wasn't really clear what "external bathroom" meant. What I absolutely do not like is the feeling that I helped take a nice family apartment off the housing market for the people of Salerno. I didn't realize this was one of those situations. Investors who turn apartments into short-term rentals, and the visitors who take them, are driving housing into unaffordable realms for Italians. I try to avoid this but failed on this occasion. The term "B &B" has come to mean anything, apparently.

- Kelli H (8/5): Great stay - would stay again - Location of the BnB was excellent for good cafes, local coffee and food etc. Very easy walking distance to everything in Salerno including excellent restaurants, cafes, ocean front and local sights. Highly recommend this location. The rooms were well appointed for the price and good size. The bed was a little hard for my liking. There will simple amenities in the kitchen (we didn't use these). Clean and tidy and easy to access the BnB. Main bed was a bit too hard and poorly made (the mattress protector not fitted properly so bunched up and was digging into me. Had to remake the bed to fit the protector and sheets properly).

- Viktoria (8/5): Amazing location! - Amazing location. Right in the centre with very beautiful streets. Very close to everything you need - pharmacy, restaurants, supermarkets, the beach was just 7 min walk and the port for the ferry 12 min. The host was very nice and let us check in around 11:30 and upon check out allowed us to leave our luggage and explore for a few more hours. Overall, we had good experience. The facilities were nice but not well maintained - the sheets had small stains on them and there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom window was extremely hard to open and the flush button on the toilet was hard to push. There was no good place to dry our clothes. I also expected a balcony but it turned out only our room didn’t have one (probably my bad for not checking the specific room)
- cioffoletti (4/5): - Posto pulito ,stanza pulita,accogliente. Ho gradito la colazione in camera. Silenzioso. La mia camera era priva di bagno infatti esso si trovava a distanza dalla camera senza una chiave di chiusura esterna, si poteva chiudere solo quando l'ospite era all'interno, praticamente poteva entrare chiunque ( c'è solo un cartello davanti alla porta che dice di non entrare agli ospiti delle altre camere)onestamente non è comodo. L'acqua della doccia era o troppo calda o fredda! Non c'era un giusto equilibrio e L'acqua non era mai tiepida infatti ho fatto fatica a fare la doccia. Uno stress.

Gestore gentilissima che ci ha guidato in un check-in da remoto (fuori orario) ed è stata attenta ad ogni I richiesta. Pulitissimo. Alto livello, davvero. Tutto bello

They were able to accomodate our early check-in, and even left a welcome-kit with traditional local snacks! Everything is well organized such that each room has a reserved shelf in the fridge as well as a table in the common hall.
- Laura (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in famiglia in questo favoloso B&B nel centro di Salerno. L'appartamento era pulito, super confortevole, spazioso, ben arredato e dotato anche di cucina e di tutti i comfort. Proprietaria super gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissimo!

- Filip (8/5): - Overall the place is worth the price and would recommend it for everyone looking for a stay in Salerno. Owner of the place is very friendly. Localization is perfect. The room is quite large, there are many draweres and a wardrobe. As a welcome gift we got some pastry, that's a nice thing. The bathroom even though it's private it's outside the room, so you need to leave the room in order to use it. Room includes a little freezer, but doesn't include a fridge, we were not aware of that and all our stuff that's meant to be keep in a fridge got frozen, the matress is tad too shallow

- Ivonne (1/5): Rude and Unprofessional Host - I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is really inconvenient, staff is rude and there's no one at the property to help you with check-in or carry-ons. I had a really negative experience here. On my last day, I asked if I could leave my bags after checkout and was told yes, but no one gave me any instructions. I messaged them asking what to do, but I never heard back. Because I didn't know where to leave the key, I ended up taking it with me on my tour. The host called me while I was away, but I was in an area with no signal. The voicemail they left was absolutely shocking—they were screaming and being incredibly rude because they needed the key. This kind of communication is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. The host's lack of communication created the problem, and their reaction was completely out of line. To top it all off, the 'private' bathroom was located outside of the room, which was super inconvenient. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
