• Saif (7/5): Best for check in 4 am train traveling - They have ac and the place is quite and they accept check in at 4 am so highly recommend for people who come in the train. There is no shataf, and it warm.

I booked there to enjoy the pool but it was dirty and I've been told to not going into it until they clean it but the cleaning was starting after my departure. It was disappointing... The fan in my room was not really efficient
• Samina (6/5): Lovely host - good communication with hotel and excellent driver but property needs upkeep. - Security was good on entry to hotel. There was not a breakfast selection of options but instead made to order - was really nice, but basic - toast, eggs, sausages, vegetable and coffee. Winnie the host was great, really lovely and changed my room as first room was not suitable. Also had great communication with the hotel on booking.com app as hotel managed to organise driver to pick me up from the airport and drop me back which was so efficient and reliable as travelling solo. The hotel was good as a base as I was out travelling around, and really good value for money in that sense. The first room did not feel secure as in the door lock. The room was extremely hot as no A/C (even though I had booked a room with A/C) The showers were not working properly in either room even after my room was changed to a bigger room which felt much more secure. The showers definately need fixing. The A/C was not great either and I found it difficult to sleep as Mombasa hot, sticky and humid at this time of year. I don't think I would stay at this property again as a bit too basic fo rmy needs.

La colazione è senza lode e senza infamia, niente di che ed esclusivamente autoctona. Riguardo il personale posso solo dire che alcuni sono stati gentili e altri lo sono stati meno. Esperienza terribile. Il soggiorno sarebbe dovuto essere di due notti ma siamo scappati dopo la prima.

• caceres (4/5): Nice location but improbable. - I liked the location, it’s near the beach and the center. Our door lock broke while we were out. Every day, the staff borrowed our breakfast to the table, but the last day wasn’t like that and they didn’t mention it, so we were waiting 30 min till they said to us that we had to get by ourselves, that yo day was a buffet, but also didn’t allow us to pick whatever we wanted for eating. Also, they wade us to pay 1000shk because one friend came to spend 1 hour with us, they told us that the policy of that was posted in one paper on the room, but the policy said that “guests” weren’t allowed to come, this person didn’t came for sleep, only came 1 hour.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Hyggelig folk, slitent sted. - Ikke 3,5 stjerne, det er misvisende. I min bok er 2 stjerner maks. Det er veldig basic fasiliteter. Ikke aircondition på mitt rom, derimot to vifter hvorav takviften lagde mye støy. Hyggelige ansatte som gjør sitt beste for å gjøre oppholdet bra. Helt grei frokost, med et lite utvalg. Omelett og samosa til frokost trekker opp. Mulig prisene var satt opp pga julen, men syns det var i overkant dyrt med tanke på standard.

The staff seem more interested in chatting with you rather than just trying to have you buy something. The lounge area was quite spacious, comfortable and inviting. My was room and sink were quite grungy. screens on windows were damaged, mesh mostly missing. No air conditioning, or safe in room.

We had to extend our stay due to illness and were taken care of so nicely. Great fresh breakfast and other food. Spacious rooms and lounge areas. Nice pool. The house needs renovating, facilities are used. But what can be cleaned is clean and value for money is great! Area is gated and quiet, but a few shops/restaurants in walking distance.
• Blend (1/5): Bad - It is super noisy due to the pool, as people can walk in, and the kitchen starts working at 5:00 a.m with all these noises it is impossible to rest, also FYI even though you paid for the room if you have guests you must pay extra

• Rose (7/5): We enjoyed our stay especially since the staff were so friendly, and we like the peace and security - The breakfast was good especially excellent fruit. The location was good in that it is quiet, peaceful. But is was necessary to use a car or tuktuk to get into shopping malls. The place is beautiful but needs tlc (tender loving care!). Some paint job and renovation would do wonders to the place. Due to the heat at the coast, I expected that they would provide a bottle of water each day as part of the service instead of charging for it.

• Pawel (8/5): Very good - The Leinmach House helped us to find a backup accommodation, as we were duped by another Mombasa guesthouse. A staff is very friendly. The location is very good, close to the best Mombasa beach and not far away from the Old Town. There is also very nice Italian restaurant in the area. Rooms, especially bathrooms, require some decent refreshment, but generally it was clean.

• David (7/5): Save for the comments, I enjoyed my stay - The breakfast can be improved. I did not like the matoke part. Location is ok. They need bed switch, it does not cost much otherwise it is inconveniencing to switch off lights at the door then walk to bed in darkness.
