- Hipolito (2/5): Overpriced for what is offered - the location of where it was situated was satisfactory as the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes was a short walk away as well as local supermarkets 5 to 10 min away. The facilities were substandard, no kettle (even after requesting the host), no iron, bad wifi. The floor boards creaked, door did not close, spiders in the corners of the room and dust on the sheets, we requested a ground floor room but there was no ground floor, had to lug our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Staff wanted to charge 10 euros for breakfast that was subpar and could get cheaper elsewhere. Be sure not to repay city tax again if asked, if already pre-paid through booking. We asked the hostess if we could keep our luggage for a short time on the last day to which she agreed prior, however due to attempting to overcharge us she rudely vocalised Infront of guests that she will not and to leave the property after receiving only some of our city tax payment back. Quite rude and dishonest.
- Andries (9/5): Een perfecte accommodatie voor een bezoek aan Lourdes met een vriendelijke eigenaresse. - In het centrum, op loopafstand van de diverse bezienswaardigheden van Lourdes. Openbaar Parkeren op een plein bij de accommodatie tegen geringe tijdsgebonden betaling tot maximaal Euro.4,00 per dag. Het brood en de yoghurt was door Oksana zelf gemaakt en het ontbijt was van een zeer goed niveau. Plezierige en actieve communicatie met Oksana. 2 aanbevelingen voor de eigenaar om dit op korte termijn aan te passen cq te vervangen. Het toilet in de badkamer is te laag en dient minimaal 10 cm te worden verhoogd. Het 2 persoons bed is te smal en voldoet niet aan de huidige normen. Tevens is het matras aan de onderzijde aan vervanging toe.
- Ben Lau (3/5): Never go back there again - We were taken to another location because the lady told us the hotel was fully booked. No toiletries, no shampoo, no shower gel, and no hair dryer provided until we asked, but we were told that those are not supposed to be provided. The bed linens and towels were provided because we didn't carry it, so nice. However, we have to make the bed by ourselves and do the room cleaning before we check out the next morning.
- Geraldine (1/5): HORRIBLE! Hôte raciste et désagréable. FUYEZ - Uniquement l’emplacement, car nous sommes venus en famille nous recueillir pour l’assomption. L’annonce ne correspond pas du tout à la description. À notre arrivée, le studio était sale pour ne pas dire deguelasse. Aucune sécurité, l’hôte de mauvaise foi nous a même pas prévenu que la poignée de la porte était cassée. En revenant du sanctuaire au studio nous découvrons la poignée qui pendait, j’ai donc contacté l’hôte qui est venue de suite. Elle a ouvert la fenêtre par l’extérieur et a réussi à ouvrir la porte. Nous étions choquée car il n’y avait vraiment aucune sécurité et nous aurions pu nous faire voler nos affaires. De plus, l’hôte super désagréable a eu des propos raciste avec nous devant nos enfants lors de la remise des clés. Elle voulait que le ménage soit fait de fonte en comble ou lui donner 20€, alors qu’à notre arrivée cela n’était pas fait. Pour le peu de temps que nous avons passé dans le studio, nous avons balayé et mis la serpillière. Elle n’était pas satisfaite et a voulu nous séquestrer en nous disant « aller frotter maintenant ». J’ai retenu la porte et à la fin je lui ai balancé 20€. Nous sommes aller au commissariat pour signaler l’hôte. En d’autre terme, je ne vous recommande pas du tout ce logement.

- Francisco (5/5): Buena ubicación - La ubicación es lo que mejor tenía . El sitio es tranquilo. Le falta aire acondicionado. Las escaleras no están muy bien . Nuestra habitación no estaba muy limpia y en los días que estuvimos (5) nadie entró a limpiar.

Nous avons apprécié la présence de l'hôtesse pendant les repas avec des échanges agréables qui nous ont particulièrement intéressés. Nous recommandons cette adresse.

- Joan (10/5): Ideal Location with welcoming hosts - Great location in a quiet area and a nice walk to Lourdes. We loved the uniqueness of the building. Breakfast was great. Homemade everything. Flexibility on time as well. Accommodating to drive us from the airport and to the train. Very nice people! There was nothing to dislike-they did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable.

- Josephine (7/5): Good - The Chateau few minutes walk to the Basilica and quite a lot of restaurants and shops. The method of paying for our stay. I thought I paid on line until the day before the departure the owner scribbled on a piece of paper how much we owe her plus 10 euros each for the daily breakfast. She didn't accept credit card and no other means of payment accept cash and we were forced to go to the bank. It's not worth spending 10 euros for the kind of breakfast served by the Chateau.

- Robert (8/5): OK + - My wife and I stayed here 4 nights. This property, like many in Lourdes is quite old so the stairs are steep, the bed a bit tight and other inconveniences. These were made up for by the friendliness of the host who made breakfast including home made croissants.

We had a friend with us and it was awkward to get to the bathroom as we had to walk through her room. Borer a big problem in furniture and needs a lot of maintenance..didn’t know or were not shown where to get tea /coffee .

You can have breakfast and dinner for a fee. They were delicious in a family atmosphere. Thank you Roxane!

We were lucky to find an easy parking spot in front of the hotel, but imagine it might be more difficult in high season.

- Peter (8/5): - This Guest House is a great little hidden gem in the heart of Lourdes. The Chateau is literally around the corner. Parking out front was free Sat afternoons, all day Sunday & holidays but otherwise paid. It's ~15min walk to the Sanctuaires Notre-Dame. WiFi signal is low on top floor but fine on lower floors. Rooms are spacious & clean.Top floor (etoile room) has no balcony but it does have double-windows. 2nd floor (romance room) has balcony but only single-windows. The house is one of the oldest in Lourdes & has plenty of character. Hosts are very nice & welcoming. The value for the price is excellent.
