In fact you could consider it part of Baia Mall, but you are insulated from the noise. The rooms are nice and quaint. Really enjoyable stay. The shower could do with a deep clean. It was clean enough and very usable, but you can see a bit of dirt by the ceiling.

- Richard (6/5): - My roomwhich was perfect for my needs, clean and tidy, however overlooked the garage which is ok, but there is what appears to be a grey water recycling/pumping system which I assume services the mall, and there was a really bad smell at times coming into the unit. Not a great experience, I am sure the units on the front/sea side are fine, as do not face the side.

As an added surprise, they upgraded us to Southern Sun Maputo, which was an amazing bonus and made our stay even more special. The staff was friendly, professional, and very accommodating throughout the experience. I highly recommend them and would definitely stay with them again. Nothing at all

Receptionists were the best,very helpful and helped me talk to taxi drivers since I don’t speak Portuguese. Also the Barman was awesome,helped me set up my daughter’s surprise birthday. Cleaners could do better especially in the bathroom.It rained a lot when I was there so there was slight leakage through the window in my room. On my last night air conditioning didn’t work,there were no maintenance people so it was hot in the room. Breakfast is limited options but ok food.

The second time we sent a message for the pick up, reconfirmed at reception at night and even in the morning when the first person left, and they still messed it up. The safe wasn’t working, they wanted to send someone up, that never happened. Service needs improvement.

Easy access to hotel and shopping centre next door. The staff were not always very friendly which we experienced as slightly unusual.
