Cynthia (6/5): We loved the location for proximity to things that we wanted to do, but I wouldn’t stay there again. - Really good location. We had a great view of the ocean and sunsets from our window. One of the elevators was not running our entire stay. At times, both elevators were not running. The sliding window screens of our condo were difficult to move into place and should be replaced. . The building was definitely tired with no apparent upgrades. I didn’t use the pool, but after seeing some of the other pools in the area, there was nothing inviting about this one. The cement stairs down to the little beach were dangerously covered in sand from the surf and at times, difficult to use because of the tide/surf. I watched several people struggle with them as I did on one occasion.

The kitchen had all the basics which would have been nice if I felt like cooking. Mattress was comfortable, and the AC worked when I needed it. Bathroom was very clean. The bedding could be updated. The bedspread was a little stiff, thin. And the pillows weren’t awesome.

The mattress on the Murphy bed was slightly uncomfortable but that didn’t take away from the overall experience.

It wasn't very cool in the room at any time of day and I believe the AC was set at 73.The Grates on the door entering the room were filthy. Looked like they hadn't been cleaned or painted in a very long time. Both doors to the balcony were extremely difficult to open, every time. The Screens to the balcony came off the track several time and were ripped.The vents over the toilets had mold or some kid of small bugs on them.

The location right on the water, overlooking the channel is why we try to choose Maui Kai. We saw many whales. It would be nice if there was an ice machine. Other than that, all was great !

Perfect sunset views over the ocean and we spotted a number of whales while sitting on the lanai. The building itself is a bit dated and the pool isn't much but we didn't need it with the great location right on the beach.

Rooms are very spacious with all the kitchen fittings. 3. Location of the condos are perfect. Close to many supermarket and decent restaurants. Some of the staff members were not polite and lacked professionalism in handling management issues. During our stay, we had to switch rooms for some reason and were assured assistance with the process. However, no help was provided, and we were not even reminded about the room switch on the scheduled day. Fortunately, we hadn’t left early that morning, or the situation could have been more inconvenient.

We were within walking distance of a market, literally 10 minutes away, so we did not need to rent a car. Our unit was on the ground/1st floor and we could easily chat with people walking by. So privacy was not optimal. To be fair there were absolutely no issues regarding this.

Packed full of beach items and well stocked kitchen amenities. Pool was spotless and cabana area very well stocked with facilities and entertainment options The room door did not always latch when closed so had to be slammed extra hard else door would just open with the regular strong winds through the door hallway. One ceiling panel in bathroom was loose and sometimes lifted with airflow. Aircon was unsteady even after maintenance. Close to a grocery store but need car to go to any other shops or venues. A bit of cooking oil would help to be available in the kitchen for short stays. Bed was not great

Lucy (8/5): Really relaxing and comfortable - This is a really relaxing place to stay. The sound of the ocean lulls you to sleep. The balcony has a beautiful view and we saw turtles swimming by! You can walk to local food trucks, supermarket and other resorts with restaurants. The boardwalk is close by. My daughter loved the pool and everyone was very friendly. Price was high but felt it was worth it compared to other options. Bit tricky without a car but Uber was easy.

Truly well located, clean, friendly staff, well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, and KILLER SUNSET! I literally cried on my last day watching the sun going down from the balcony. It was like a painting. We could spot multiple turtles swimming in front of us. Magical place! It is very outdated, and I would love to see a modern touch. It has so much potential!

Lori (10/5): Two amazing patios with two islands view. - The location and views are incredible. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need at a beach house, including a cooler and beach chairs. I spent early mornings going between the two decks to soak in the view. One morning a seal meandered by right in front of the deck. People were running to see it, and there we were enjoying it from the perfect vantage point. The air conditioner turns off at night because it has a motion sensor in the living area, not the bedroom. We opened the bedroom window the first night and it was either blustery or stifling depending on the wind’s caprice. A Google search showed how to turn the AC thermostat to VIP setting., thereby eliminating the motion feature. We were careful to always turn the unit off when we left, or when the sliding doors were open, as that’s what we’d expect of our guests if it were our condo. This was the only downside. If we hadn’t Googled a fix we would have been miserable. Fortunately we did, and the stay was perfect. The two patios really are magical.

Cameron (7/5): Could have been worth it - The location was great, I liked that we were right on the water as well. The staff was great. There was black mold in the shower, which seemed absolutely crazy for the price that was paid. The cap on the faucet also just kept falling off. It's something small but was disappointing at $500-$600 a night. We also had to keep towels on the ground and mess with the shower door so water didn't leak all over the floor. The ceiling height in the bathroom was very lower as well.

Joy (9/5): Beautiful condo with an amazing sight. Had a great stay. Thank you! - We had a room on the top floor and the view was breathtaking! The condo was also close to mostly everything including all of the activities that we have booked. They had a pool, jacuzzi, ping pong table, and other activities available on site. Access to the beach was just the door next to the office on ground level. Our room had binoculars where we can catch sights of turtles swimming in the ocean! Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. AC/heater worked great. Everything was great however the bathroom was a little outdated. The ceiling kept lifting when taking a shower because of the hot air flowing. Which spooked me. The sliding door to the balcony made a lot of noise because of the wind blowing through the cracks all day.

Delron (9/5): Off of the balcony we were able to watch whales sea turtles and also had a monk seal go by. - No breakfast served here. There was great places to eat breakfast walking distance. We made our own breakfast in our room 90% of the stay. It was truly a great stay the only thing I didn’t like was having to leave.
Jan (10/5): Loved everything about this condo; fabulousness ocean view from 2nd floor and beach access. - Super clean. Wonderful ocean view. LOVED THE BÀLCONY and the entire condo. 2nd floor very convenient. Front desk was staffed and very friendly and helpful. has very clean washer and dryer. Easy beach access right out the side door. Loved this place. that the bathroom fan comes on with the light.
