Guest Reviews
- McNamara_44 (10/5): Good business hotel in a nice location - Excellent middle class/ business Hotel. Modern and clean rooms with kettle, water, tea and coffee. Located right infront of Levy Mall. Breakfast is OK, staff pretty helpful. The hotel has no real foibles, at least none that I took note off. Stayed there for 3 days in June 2025.
- Mulwanda (10/5): - Great place
- Nenad (10/5): - Excellent facilities and service. If the Internet signal could be improved, it would be ideal.
- Donovan (10/5): - Very pleasant experience. Highly recommend
- Kumbirai (8/5): - Its nice accessible and convenient
- Gerald L (10/5): - Very good stay with breakfast and affordable.
- Antonia (6/5): - Facilities are good and clean, nextbto the mall which provides dining options however reception and restaurant staff are not helpful
- Gnusmas (4/5): No coffee in Lusaka - I think it was great value for money until tbe 2nd morning none of the coffee machines were not working reported it 4 times and the to a tall fellow tbat I think is in a managerial position ..he always stands in tbe foyer ..yes well but no help from him either ..if it wasn't for that small thing then I would have rated a 4 star..but its the little things that should be paid attention to !
- Robert (8/5): Good value for money - Good value for money
- Maud (8/5): - Staff are courteous. Carpet in our room need revamping.
- Martha (10/5): - When they were fixing the lift and had to walk stairs from 5th floor
- Geir Rasmus (10/5): Good hotel - Very good hotel related to price with central location.
- sunflowerb189 (2/5): Poor service and etiquette - The customer service is poor, the breakfast is not hotel standard. This not about being overly dramatic, it's basic customer service that is lacking. It is a glorified lodge. Would not spend a night there or advise anyone to go have breakfast there.
- Sez911 (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel. Staff and the service there was very good. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast offers a great selection of hot and cold food. When we checked in, there was a problem with our shower and they fixed it immediately.
- MadanGopalM (8/5): Great Location. - Great Location and excellent service. This hotel is just in front of the well known Levy Mall and also has a good breakfast spread. The staff are friendly and helpful, the city market is also nearby. There is fast WiFi and enough parking. Unfortunately the restaurant at the hotel offers only breakfast and we have to walk across the road to find some eateries and cafes. Good place for a stay of two or three days. There is a swimming pool but it is not maintained properly
- Logan (8/5): - Staff was great and helpful but definitely a busy and popping area! Breakfast was a bit chaotic with so many guests that there were never open seats for us.
- Chinmay (10/5): - It was comfortable and easy.
- Salomon (8/5): - It was good
- Ivans (10/5): - Amazing place…Excellent
- Salomon (10/5): - My Stay was well. I liked it.
- Jill (8/5): OK for a layover, but have low expectations. - Comfortable small room. Breakfast options are OK but both times we went for breakfast they didn’t have available tables, plates, bowls or coffee cups and didn’t really care.
Recommended restaurants were marginal at best.
- Clifford (10/5): - The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.
- Viktor (8/5): Homeland Visit! - Home away from home and experienced no power cuts!
- Clifford (10/5): - and accommodating staff combined with a clean and comfortable room is a winning combination
- Viktor (8/5): Home away from home! - Great putting away from home!
- TheTouristInMe (8/5): Beautiful and comfortable B&B - A very nice and comfortable B&B hotel in the heart of Zambia's capital city, Lusaka. The staff are friendly and helpful. Oh my, the breakfast is yummy...!!! The standards were maintained every single morning. Thumbs up to the team. The hotel is next or within the Levy Junction shopping mall, which has a lot of fast foods stores and Zoran Cafe has delicious meals; Lunch & Dinner.
- Shuichi (10/5): - Good
- WILLIAM (10/5): - Need to review their breakfast options/menu.
- Edwin (10/5): - Perfect, very clean
- Chris (10/5): - Great staff, very helpful throughout my two week stay. It is too bad there isn't any meal service after breakfast, as Levy Junction mall has mostly takeaway/fast food rather than sit down restaurants. But otherwise much to recommend. Generators come on quickly during load shedding, fridges, kettle, helpful drivers always available, wifi mostly reliable, but limited TV channels. Just make sure to get full briefing about nearby no go areas near/across the flyovers.
- Herberth (10/5): - fresh look in older area, convenient 66.
- Mjumo (10/5): - I've stayed in hotels around the world and this is one of the best in terms of value for money. The staff are polite, competent, warm and friendly. The property is clean and well-maintained. The location is unbeatable, you can get to pretty much anywhere in Lusaka quickly and conveniently. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly to other travelers.
- Tazvida (10/5): - It was super
- William (10/5): - THE ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN
- Kumbirai (10/5): - Very convenient location, value for money.
They should however improve on breakfast options, its too monotonous....
- Edwin (6/5): - Rooms are quite small
- Chewe (8/5): - It's clean, predictable and convenient. Good value for money, friendly staff and clean rooms.
The lady at the bar left the bar unattended a few times, but was overall a good stay.
- Mr Stephen (10/5): - Location
- Georgia (10/5): - Conveniently located near bus station and shopping.
- Georgia (10/5): - We were flying in from Livingstone and meeting a man coming from.Mansa by bus. The hotel was conveniently located not far from the bus terminal. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot water available for bathing! Excellent breakfast a part of the package.
- Simba (8/5): - all was well
- Chewe (6/5): - The location was great, the price was a steal, the check in was amazing, but challenge was on the overall maintenance.
I was disturbed by the visible mold in the lining of the shower door. Unfortunately there seemed to have been am issue with the vendor that does laundry and as a result had to specifically go and ask for fresh towels on my second night.
However, the overall stay was good. Food was fresh and tasty, staff were friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable and shower had enough hot water and pressure.
It's just the little things that matter which I felt they are slowly losing grip on especially that they were not too significant that could not be handled properly.
I assume the challenges faced in my stay were isolated and as a result, I would still recommend the hotel to any business travellers.
- Aaron (8/5): - The Reception too forever to pick up the calls from the rooms.
Breakfast did not have that much options and the fruits looked weeks old and spoiled.
- HISASHI (10/5): - Rooms are quite clean, staff are very polite and friendly. Very good.
- HISASHI (10/5): - Staff are very polite and friendly, they make guests very confortable to stay.
- Clifford (10/5): - Incredible value!
- Kazumichi (10/5): - It was all good
- Mumbi (8/5): - Loved it. Located literally by the mall; staff were great and helpful. Would gladly stay there again.
- REGINALD (10/5): - The hotel is in a great location even those others may differ. Sometimes you have to leave what you expect at home at home. The hotel is modern and up to date. I can’t comment on the breakfast because I always skipped it. The staff was very professional and friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I come back to Lusaka
- korosa (2/5): EXTREMELY RUDE EMPLOYEES - NORMAN - I had an extremely bad experience with a Gentleman Known as NORMAN. He is very RUDE and has been previously reported by other customers n this platform but the management does not care. Avoid for the sake of your own peace and mental health.
- Harun (6/5): - Poor internet. Boring breakfast
- Thelma (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help . The hotel is very clean which i loved very much .
- Becky (8/5): - Nice place to stay
- Jonathan (8/5): - Great & convenient
- Wendy (10/5): - Very good location. Very friendly staff.
- MrLiban (2/5): Bad Hotel and poor customer service - Bad customer service especially a gentleman called NORMAN who is at the reception evening time.
The Hotel is not clean it's not worth the money.
Norman was rude unprofessional and disrespectful.
Avoid.
- Chewe (8/5): - Stay Easy is a great property situated in a convenient location. Having stayed here a couple years back and having visited recently, one can tell that it's slowly getting tired.
The cleanliness is impeccable, staff are friendly, but not as friendly as some of the Lusaka competitors.
Food was good and fresh always
- lenny9885 (10/5): Idealy located opposite a shopping mall - What you would expect from a good hotel. Awesome helpful friendly staff. They always willing to assist you. They will go out ther way to accomodate your needs. If its a BBQ you want to have. Speak to the Manager Calvin. He will arrange it for you. Stayeasy only serves breakfast. Theres fast food across at the mall and the Zoran Cafe restuarant for a variety of tasty meals. Other malls also nearby also host a vaiety of South African Franchise restuarants. The location of the Hotel in central. Don't forget to make a trip to Livingstone!
- Boniface (6/5): - The Breakfast is so limited and bad if you are staying longer
- daled626 (6/5): Value for money? - Guess I can't expect much more than this for the price paid. Yes, centrally located and right at a Mall is about the only "Pro" this hotel gets from me I'm afraid. WiFi is shocking in the rooms and only available in foyers, reception and restaurant area. I've been moved from the 5th to 4th and now onto the 3rd floor. Disconnects happen all the time and having to move around to be able to connect. Bar section has limited to no local beers. Breakfasts are bland and variety runs out in no time. Constantly having to ask for new/clean cups and utensils. Restaurant is really needed here!
- norahn108 (10/5): Home away from home - Mrs Agness Banda is the definition of great customer service. We have stayed at Stay Easy each year since 2017 and she is the reason we keep going back whenever we are in Zambia, she is very kind, helful and goes the extra mile in makinf our stay comfortable!!!
- brspiers (8/5): I went to Lusaka - Went during corona virus pandemic; necessary travel for employment permit. Breakfast in rooms, rather than in the dining area. I had to guess at what food was available that I could ask for, maybe a menu would be nice, but otherwise an enjoyable stay.
- ddube290953 (10/5): Beautiful Space - What a great hotel and very clean environment. Very fresh and modern. I enjoyed my stay Kudos to the helpful and always cheerful staff. I was wowed by the shuttle service felt like a king😂. The host Masase was the best. Thank you for an amazing experience😍
- NeilV32 (4/5): Disappointed - No one to check in on my arrival. Not value for money and too expensive, especially for a 2 star rated hotel. Reservation request not taken seriously.
WiFi was good though and 24hr power available. Thnx
- 665samuel (10/5): Hotel Stay review - Good Service, Satisfied with the friendliness of staff, location of the hotel is within vicinity of the shopping mall and only 30km from the airport and within a few minutes to all government offices and embassies
- nyangamichelo91 (8/5): My opinion - The hotel is well located and easy to access, friendly workers, DSTV available in the rooms and good wi- fi in the rooms. The hotel should provide lunch and supper, instead of just providing free breakfast.
- charlnoble (8/5): Perfect for what I needed - My husband and I had a one-night stay at the StayEasy before our journey to South Luangwa. The room was lovely and the staff were helpful, but the best thing for us was the location. Just a 10-minute walk to the bus station which was perfect for our early start and opposite a shopping mall which had some good options for dinner. We would definitely stay here again.
- syliankundamu (10/5): Courtesy received from stay easy hotel - I was very greatful for the treatment I received from the staff, please continue giving your warm welcome to your customers as this may help you grow. But try and incorporate main meals, even on order so that your clients don't struggle looking for food especially those from outside Lusaka and the country.
- vcs5777 (8/5): Stay Easy - Hotel located in town and a shopping mall/movies within the premises. Service by the staff is excellent,
safety car park, good place to stay.Although there is load shedding there is power 24/7. breakfast included
- krishnapD3243XT (10/5): Excellent - Management, cleaning, safety, breakfast, wifi, parking, room, everything were fine. But should have an arrangement at least of evening meal. Need an Indian entertainment and news tv channels. Overall everything was fine.
