• Simon (9/5): Wonderful traditional style pub hotel with incredible breakfasts - The central location, the awesome breakfast, the friendly staff, the great beer, the atmosphere (the locals like coming in just for a drink, which makes it really good for a convivial evening), the well-appointed rooms, the choice of evening food if you want it, and the decor (which is updated, but not horribly modern and soulless) The wifi was pretty bad. It seems to be provided by some third party, who force you to sign up for "an account" to use it, and then it didn't actually function consistently enough to be able to use messaging apps to send any pictures. Discord just refused to use it at all. The car-parking, with it's overly complex technology that forced you to register your car every day with a third-party provider- it wasn't clear at what point in the day you had to register by, and the anonymous nature of the control left you constantly on edge as to whether you'd made it in time to avoid an unpleasant surprise being mailed to you.

• Clive (9/5): A comfortable great dog-friendly hotel in a beautiful Welsh village - The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Snowdonia. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Superb breakfast for us and the dog! Our bathroom was in need of a little attention. Only cosmetic defects. It was spotless and everything worked as it should.

• Sheena (9/5): Great hotel in gorgeous setting. - Beautiful bedrooms, cosy beds, fresh white bedding and sumptuous towels. Everywhere was spotless. Fabulous location. Lovely breakfast. Easy late access and parking. I need gluten free and am dairy intolerant and they were very helpful sorting this for me. No specific things. A few more smiles from staff but they were very helpful and nothing wrong with service. My messages about gluten free hadn't been passed on but the staff were extremely helpful sorting it once they knew.

• Fay (7/5): Nice rooms and location but other elements need work. - Great location and large. Well equipped room. Staff were indifferent, not rude but very much gave the impression that the did not care when there was an issue. There was no wifi available for the entire duration of our stay. They also hosted a noisy karaoke night on the Sunday evening.
• Daniel (8/5): - The bed was incredibly comfy, shower had great pressure, separate bath was lovely and relaxing. Staff were friendly. Full English breakfast was good quality and tasty. Very nice room but definitely on the expensive side, however we visited on a bank holiday weekend which is why prices were higher. The pub stops serving food at 6pm on a Sunday which we did not realise after arriving at 7pm, so I'd recommend checking their kitchen times.

• Steven (4/5): Gone downhill markedly since last year - Location and rooms fabulous. Untidy since last visit last year. Carpets dirty, needed a hoover up the stairs. Stood waiting at reception a good 10 mins before even being spoken despite checking in on line. Tables full of empty bottles & plates. Ran out of cutlery. Staff couldn’t cope. Breakfast ran out of milk. Coffe was Luke warm and pitiful. Toast like cardboard - you could break windows with it. Like fawlty towers.

• Victoria (8/5): Great place, ideal location. - Location ideal. Central. Lovely clean, spacious room. Staff helpful. With evening meal and breakfast there was a lo g wait. Not enough staff.
• Bal (9/5): We had a great stay exploring the area, however the weather wasn’t the best comsidering the time of year. - Property was excellent, the pub and the rooms both were cosy and welcoming. Parking was a little busy at that time but overall no issue.
• Donna (8/5): Lovely spacious rooms in a great location - Location for walks etc No heating despite raising this with staff. They told me they would “reboot the system”. There was still no heat from the radiators the entire duration of our stay. Which wasn’t ideal for March! Shower was intermittent and stopped for a good few minutes during mid hair wash which was an inconvenience! Breakfast was questionable - 1 order was wrong, toast came out way before the rest of the breakfast and then a plate of just mushrooms & 2 eggs followed 😆🙈
• Natalie (8/5): Very happy with our stay and would return and recommend to others. - Staff were very accommodating! We arrived late and were leaving early to climb Snowdon so would have missed breakfast but the lady on reception who checked us in told us to go in the breakfast room and help ourselves before leaving so we didn't feel we missed out. Only a 7 minute drive from the Rhyd Ddu path which was an added bonus for us! Was happy with our stay, not much to comment on for improvement.

Blinds didn't fit the windows, so light was coming through all night due to the lights on the walls outside(have attached a photo that was taken at 10pm) Walls very thin with music going on till late

Bit of a wait for evening meal and parking limited but managed to get a space in the car park. Having breakfast from 7.30am would have been better as we had an early start planned to hike the beautiful location.

The hotel was great value for money and the food was amazing! Room was spacious, modern and very well kept. Parking was available. I will definitely book again to stay here. Fire did not get lit during the evening which was a shame.

• Paul (10/5): I’d come back a stay here again soon when the weather improves - The hotel staff, facilities, breakfast were all great. Beddgelert is a lovely village with great amenities. I walked a few of the trails in the hills around but got a good soaking..can’t predict the weather Weather

• Madgrani (10/5): A warm welcome - A warm welcome as soon as we arrived on a very wet and windy evening. The room was huge and very comfortable with views over the mountains. Breakfast was really good and freshly prepared and evening meals were good too. Good selection of meals all round. On arrival, we were presented with a welcome pack for our dog with treats and a ball included, which was a lovely touch. Excellent value all round. Have booked to return. Nothing
• Paula (9/5): Cosy weekend break - Lovely stay at the Saracens Hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, food was excellent, would highly recommend a stay here, the Managers were very helpful, even opening the breakfast room on Saturday night as the pub was busy and there was no where for us to have our evening meal. Will definitely return. Bed was a bit firm for my liking but that's not really an issue.
