- Carol (10/5): You won't regret staying here! - Our room was exceptionally comfortable, and spacious. Loved the decor. Loved the tiny bottle of milk for tea and coffee - very cute, and much nicer than the capsules of UHT usually put in rooms. The bathroom was large- good lighting. Huge shower. All very clean. Breakfast was made to order. Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay! The roads getting there can be a bit tricky as they are quite narrow- we aren't from the area so not used to roads like that! Everything else was amazing.

- Emily (10/5): Fantastic stay with an amazing breakfast! - We really loved our stay at the Wheatsheaf! The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the check-in process was smooth and simple. We thought that breakfast was amazing and so was the comfiness of the bed. We loved the waterfall shower and the small touches like the fresh milk and homemade cookies. The property is only a short drive from the Odd Down park and ride and this makes it a very quick and affordable way to get into the city centre.

- Lucy (10/5): - Quiet & rural with short drive to Bath
- Alicia (3/5): Won’t come back - Very pretty and everything was up to date The bedding had dog hair on, dirty sheet with dead insect on, and a filthy dirty duvet

Such a relaxing stay, amazing food and very friendly relaxed staff. The menu is well thought out and we just wish we could have stayed longer!
- Federica (10/5): -
- Sheryl (10/5): - Facilities were very good for a short stay. Location quiet and beautiful. Staff friendly and welcoming without being too attentive and in the way. The relaxed environment was perfect for our few days away. It didnt bother us but for those wanting to visit Bath Centre, it was a 15-20min taxi ride
- julian (5/5): Not worth the narrow lanes to get to pub as pictures make it look posher than it is. - Had a nice view from the outside seating. Food was good as it was steak night and we got a free bottle of red. The room was very hot and the sheets had a stain on them.
- John (10/5): -
- Katherine (10/5): We loved our stay, the location was incredible, the room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. the staff were frien - The location was perfect The cheeseburger wasn’t a homemade pattie
- Peter (8/5): Gorgeous pub, setting and surrounding countryside. - We loved the rural setting. The pub is stunning with lovely well tended gardens and really friendly staff. Our room was quirky. Breakfast was good, without being stunning. We ate an evening meal, with 9 of us and this was great, with a good choice of a set menu and a la carte. We enjoyed the super walks from the Pub and the ease of getting to Bath- using the park and ride. There was an odd smell in the bathroom and the toilet needed attention twice. The staff were excellent and attentive.
- Twomey (10/5): Had to leave to early - It’s setting, beautiful luxury room & pet friendly. Nothing
- Colleen (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful stay - Beautiful place and lovely staff and service. Everything was great
- Rosamond (9/5): Superb - Fabulous for a two night night., a real treat. The Bluebell room was away from the Inn and was very well stocked with fridge and home made biscuits !!
- Paul (10/5): wonderful - everything nothing
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - What a super find. James and his staff were first rate and the accommodation was lovely. Breakfast was very good, but the exceptional and stand-out piece is the setting. Absolutely wonderful. Nothing to find fault with at all.
- Colin (6/5): Lovely location but accommodation in need of some TLC - Very pleasant location and nice staff. Very difficult to find and poorly signed. Much of the outdoor furniture was in poor condition and not very clean. Overnight accommodation quite nice but poor bathroom.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - Soo pretty, lovely room and views
- Rosina (10/5): Family trip - Quiet and peaceful
- Selina (9/5): Superb -
- Caitlin (10/5): It was a picturesque location a short drive from the centre of Bath and we had a lovely time! - The breakfast was lovely, I have the veggie full English and the veggie sausages were a highlight! Everything on our stay was absolutely lovely so I couldn’t say anything I didn’t like!
- Helen (9/5): Superb - The location is amazing. The rooms were unique and really well.presented. There wasn't anything we didn't like
- Chantal (9/5): Somerset haven - Lovely setting friendly staff very comfortable room and super food - perfect place to stay for Caisson Garden Basin and drainage in bathroom not so great
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location hidden away in the countryside outside Bath. Peaceful, comfortable and all you could need in the room. The pub food was lovely and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Nothing I can think of 🤔!!
- Anthony (10/5): Stunning location, lovely room, very nice pub and food. - Stunning location, lovely room, very nice pub and food.
- François-xavier (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - Food was excellent.Room spacious and comfortable..Staff very helpful.Near Park and ride to Bath - acouple of miles away.Very peaceful
- Geoffrey (10/5): Relaxing comfortable stay - This is lovely pub in a small secluded village. Very welcoming and sensibly priced restaurant serving exceptionally good food. Can't fault it.
- Jennifer (9/5): Excellent - Excellent location lovely garden Ate breakfast and supper on the terrace
- Daria (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing farm stay. Incredibly beautiful location. Perfect getaway from a city. Very close to Bath, like 10-15min drive. Great restaurant and beer. everything was amazing. Minor suggestion - to correct the location on the google map or provide more detailed driving instructions as GPS took us to a slightly different location
- Elizabeth (10/5): A lovely stay in a quiet rural village. - It was situated within walking distance of Caisson gardens. A visit here was the reason for our trip. The accommodation was excellent. It was like having our own little cottage with meals available in the pub. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. As with most of the places we stay in there is rarely a comfortable chair in the room. We are at an age now when we like to have something comfortable to sit on when relaxing in our room. Not a criticism of the Wheatsheaf but just a suggestion.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (10/5): Perfect got bath away from the hustle and bustle - Just a wonderful village pub with rooms, made so welcome and the dogs make it
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location, friendly staff, amazing food and a very clean & tidy room. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!
- Christopher (9/5): Excellent place to stay, we would certainly come back if we’re in the area again - Very comfortable and well equipped bedrooms - we had 2 adjoining ones which was ideal for us travelling as a family group. Excellent food served in the pub restaurant, both for evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided great service. The park and ride into Bath was only a couple of miles away, which made our journey into Bath much easier and a lot cheaper than using the city car parks.
- Jocelyn (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay, the accomodation and breakfast was lovely as were the owners and their dogs!
- Ian (9/5): Yes I would stay again - Food excellent, staff attentive, a very pleasant relaxed atmosphere Did not realise some rooms were separate from main building
- Andrew (4/5): Disappointing, did not match up to expectation for the price. - Room was cold.
Price included breakfast but we found out they didn't start serving until after 9:00am. That was no good for us because we had to leave before that for a funeral. I think they should reduce the price to NOT include breakfast and charge a supplement if you have the patience to wait for them to start serving
- Benjamin (10/5): Brilliant, peaceful and high accommodating - Room was excellent and really cosy, staff and dogs in the pub were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were both very appreciative of the extra lengths staff went to accommodate my partner who is lactose intolerant and vegan. Bathroom and bed were great, throughly pleasant stay Nothing, everything was fantastic. Only thing I would recommend is maybe advertise a bit more that dogs may be present in the pub. This was absolutely fine for us as we love dogs but we did hear other guests not liking having dogs around them in the pub.
- David (8/5): Great stay, friendly staff and excellent food at the pub. - The setting and accommodation was great. Having pub on site was a bonus. Proximity to park and ride very convenient. Room slightly cold and took time to heat up.
- Watson (10/5): Amazing - The staff couldn’t be more helpful, we got stuck in bath due to snow and a taxi wanted to charge us £67 to drive 10 minutes, the owners of the Wheatsheaf offered instead to pick us them selves for next to no money, an outstanding little pub and hotel that I would happily go back to again and again.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Gregory (10/5): Excellent - Lovely rooms, great pub serving good food Nothing really
- Aidan (8/5): Very good -
- Lia (8/5): Recommended! - Good location for park and ride to Bath. Plenty of parking. Generous size and comfortable room. Nice selection of breakfast options. Lovely full English!
- Julie (8/5): Very good - Poppy the dog was a joy! And the pub itself was beautiful. The post code on google maps does not take you to the pub , but the village centre. It was a challenge to find the venue i the dark
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location, very dog friendly Damp smell in the room and broken tap
Welcome and service felt a little impersonal
- Robert (8/5): Enjoyed our stay with the log fire and good breakfast. - Character pub. Log fire in pub. Good en-suite. Friendly staff. Very good tasty breakfast with top up speciality coffees. Difficult to find property in the dark. Perhaps needs an Illuminated sign. Dog fussing for food in the dining area which was annoying and we are dog lovers.
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful - Such a beautiful place, the location, the accomodation, the welcome, the food, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful time there and wish we could have stayed longer.
We will come back ***

- Nclifford (9/5): Very satisfactory and we would stay there again. - Lovely location and friendly hosts. Liked the spaniels as well. Delicious dinner and very good breakfasts. Only very slight criticism: room was cold when we arrived, but soon warmed up.
- Martin (10/5): Outstanding - A beautiful country pub with lovely rooms. The food is fantastic and they have a great value wine list. They're very dog-friendly, too. Absolutely nothing
- Annette (9/5): Superb -
- Gregg (9/5): Superb -
- Nigel (8/5): Very cc - The food and service was excellant, the rooms were also very good. We were satisfied with everything, no real complaints.
- Jamie (10/5): Perfect - It’s location and feel N/A
- James (10/5): Hidden Gem - Lovely rural retreat close to Bath & Bristol for seeing the area. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation aside from the Pub and restaurant, good value for money. No issues
