Location on the edge of "sketchy" ..noise, drunk people but also a Coop and nice resto the other direction. Spacious lounge area downstairs Minimal convenience items in room: single item per towel type, no bar soap , sink stopper not working, no English news channels on TV, Breakfast extra 20F and low quality food.

Vasken var tett.vannet ble langsomt borte. Meldt i fra til resepsjonen. Utrolig lang tid før det ble varmt vann i dusjen. Vannet ble også liggende på gulvet ene siden ved wc.

The area is not really a residential/local neighborhood; since it’s close to bars and nightclubs, it can be a bit lively at night.

Lockere Bodenfliesen im Bad, Staub unter dem Bett, Personal an der Rezeption verstand teilweise kaum deutsch, letzte Nacht etwas Musik aus einer benachbarten Bar zu hören)

• richard (4/5): A disappointing last night stay to my holiday. Would not book again. - Fairly convenient for the train station and city center. There was an 'all night' night club right opposite the hotel, which was noisy all night, did not get much sleep. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Many times at night I got woken up periodically by people talking/screaming/shouting from 10pm-5am and my room was at the 4th floor with the windows closed

• Clara (9/5): Perto de pontos turisticos e de restaurantes, novo e muito bonita a vista da varanda ao por do sol. - Reservamos o esse hotel, mas ao chegarmos lá nos foi ofertada a hospedagem no hotel Bermuda que seria da mesma rede e recém reformado com varanda e quarto maior com cozinha e closet. A vista era incrível e lá tudo era moderno e novo. O que percebemos foi que a cozinha não tinha utilidade, pois não tinha utensílios para uso como panelas e ou pratos e talheres, então só utilizamos o frigobar e a chaleira elétrica para fazer chá e café. Fica localizado em uma região central proximo à muitos bares , restaurantes o que foi ótimo, mas por ser perto de clubes noturnos o barulho depois das 22h incomodava demais! As janelas tem vidro duplo e vedam bem o barulho , mas como preferimos o frio e a ventilação natural deixavamos abertas as janelas e ai o barulho das pessoas nos bares e clubes incomodou bastante. • Olivier (8/5): Preis-Leistung Ok für Zürich. Modern eingerichtet. - Modern eingerichtete Zimmer und sauber. Hbf und Innenstadt zu Fuß auch gut erreichbar. Mein Zimmer lag zwar im obersten Stockwerk, aber zur Straßenseite. Ich hatte schon von anderen Gästen gelesen, dass es laut sein könnte, und so war es dann auch. Ich konnte den Straßenlärm trotz Ohrstöpsel hören. Ich muss dazu sagen, daß ich das Fenster gekippt hatte, da es viel zu warm war und ich kann sonst mit Klimaanlage nicht schlafen! Da das Hotel sich im Rotlichtviertel befindet, gibt es natürlich viel Verkehr ;-)

The repurposed rooms have kitchenette in the rooms, yet these are not functional. It would be lovely if they were. I know there are rooms and not apartments but still, it’s a missed opportunity.

The staff were very helpful when needed for assistance with a Swiss plug adaptor for a deposit . Our room was located directly over a bar . Perfectly quiet after the bar closed so not too much of a problem.

• Carole (9/5): Très agréable - Hôtel calme et très bien situé, proche de la gare et du Plaza Klub où je devais y voir un concert. Chambre et salle de bains très propres. Salle de bains avec baignoire et un grand miroir. Frigo dans la chambre. Le réceptionniste, le jour de mon arrivée, était très aimable, serviable et disponible, réglant un problème dans ma chambre immédiatement. La télévision qui ne comporte aucune chaînes francophones.

• Tatiana (5/5): - The only plus of this place is that it is close (walking distance) from the train station and around 15 minutes walk to the centre. I stayed at the 4th floor and if you keep your window closed it is very quiet inside but all the noise from the corridor is veru annoying and I was constantly awake during the night. It's very dirty inside, dust and stains on the bed linen. There was no hot water on the first evening, but the problem was solved. The district is loud and not safe. Suspicious people in the lounge... The AC did not work.

• Cristina (7/5): Fine experience - Nice hotel, 20-25 min walking from city center (about 1.5 km). The room was clean and staff helpful, I also loved the bar linked to hotel The room was really small and it wasn't cleaned until we asked to the staff, they told us it was a mistake and that rooms where cleaned everyday with towel changed. The parking of the hotel was truly expensive (40 cfh\day), there are cheaper near the hotel (the staff told us their price is the best, but if you look around you can find lower prices in the same area). The area around the hotel is full of night clubs and some of them could seems a bit "ambiguos", but the area is safe.

• Paul (8/5): If I were to return to Zurich, I would choose this hotel again. Good value for money. - The service was very good and staff helpful. On our check-in, a very professional gentleman named (I think) Arayan, dealt with our requests without hesitation. Even when our safe didn’t work, he came to our room to fix it. In addition, all staff couldn’t have been more pleasant. The air conditioning wasn’t working correctly and the room was quite warm - not unbearable though.

• Francesco (7/5): - La posizione, la camera minuscola ma silenziosa, il letto comodo, il bagno pulito e un ottimo box doccia Saranno anche gli standard della Svizzera ma non trovare in camera nemmeno una bottiglietta d'acqua (per non parlare della macchinetta per il caffè o un bollitore che, evidentemente, sono considerati un vero lusso) non è stato il massimo. Il piumone è un po' eccessivo per la stagione ma non c'erano coperte più leggere.

Good because was close to centre but street itself was full of bars, clubs stripclubs, the ladies :) was extremely loud all night every night, very dangerous to walk after 9 pm and we also had riots with fireworks and guns and police so it was eventful.
