- Helen (10/5): Perfection. Dreamy. Mesmerizing - receptionists at check-in were very kind and professional.The hotel is beautifully indigenous in its design and you feel welcome everywhere. The bartender is fabulous hosting and serving and being so patient and professional. The food was fantastic. I told our friends that recommended this hotel that they should always recommend it to any of their visitors. It’s perfectly located to visit the historic downtown as well as any other place in Quito and the surrounding areas. It was well organized with staffing and security and felt very comfortable the entire time the room on the top floor floors with all the glass give you the most spectacular view of the mountains and the lights below is spectacular. I highly recommend the top floor.

- Alexander (9/5): Excellent, would stay again! - I liked the friendliness of the staff, and the overall vibe and feeling of the hotel which felt warm and welcoming. The bathroom had this little bugs coming out of the drain in the floor which was a bit annoying, I don't know what they were but a recommendation to staff to have a look and get rid of them for future guests.

- Maria (5/5): Ilalo garden un Hotel que requiere mejorar sus servicios para cobrar lo que cobra. - Que encontramos opciones vegetarianas que aún que no eran muy buenas por lo menos teníamos de donde escoger. La ducha tenía una regadera agradable y la temperatura fue fácil de cambiar. El desayuno estuvo muy pobre, queríamos comer huevo y casi no lo sirven pues solo podíamos disponer de dos por persona; y éramos 3 ; nos sirvieron dos porciones. No hubo variedad fresca de frutas, y para el precio estuvo todo muy regular de calidad y cantidad. En general no se siente confort; ya que nadie nos asistió con nuestro equipaje, y al estar con un bebé es aún más difícil. No hubo nadie en la recepción que nos colaborara con nuestro gran equipaje. Escogimos este hotel pues tenía restaurante sin embargo cerraba muy temprano y casi no alcanzamos a cenar pues ya a las 8 pm no había servicio. Los televisores eran muy viejos y no se podía ver plataformas de streaming .

- Teri (10/5): Quiet room with Good Restaurant - Booked hotel to rest after returning from Galapagos. Before leaving for 3AM flight. $15.00 taxi ride from airport easy check-in. We had early dinner in on site restaurant Sea Bass with rice and salad excellent option. Had front desk arrange for taxi back to airport and went to room for quite nap. When taxi arrived it was raining so they had it pull into parking garage and. loaded our luggage so we could remain dry. Only regret is we didn't stay longer

I was missing aircondition in the room, eventhough it was not summer when I visited I found the room very warm and had issues sleeping. There is a fan above the bed but not very helpfull. I ended up opening the window. Ok breakfast offer. Had 1 dinner there and the choice of meals was good.

- Karen (8/5): A beautiful and charming hotel with professional friendly staff - The morning receptionist was so helpful, I had miss placed my glasses and with her help we were able to locate them. She also arranged a day trip for us at the last minute, which turned out to be one of the best excursions of our stay. We send a heartfelt thank you to her. The street light lite, which shown directly into our room at night. We fondly called the bathroom the “daylight toilet”. We do travel with and use eye masks, which one must wear if you are assigned this room.
- Benji (8/5): Hotel is worth to stay. - The room is a good size. Bedroom & bathroom is good. Room is clean, the area is safe. I was happy with the breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was easy and convenient to stay in the hotel. I would not mind to stay in this hotel again. The WiFi is slow. The TV channels are in really bad quality and selection of channels are small, no international channels. The room needs to be upgraded with USB charging stations. The window in our room was a bit difficult to open and close. The toilet button is installed not in the most practical way.
- Going (10/5): A breath of fresh air. - Very clean and the rooms are modern and spotless and the view to the outside is unhindered The shower and water are excellent and there is a Jakuzi in my room which I wasn't expecting .Breakfast is self-service and varied and there is the option to order other food such as eggs etc . The area is a bit isolated and it may be a challenge at night .

- Manoel (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel was nice, comfortable and clean. The free filtered water and coffee that were available all day long was a nice touch. The restaurant was good too. In my room (305), I couldn't connect to wifi during most of the stay and had to stay in the common areas to ensure stable connexion, which was a real hassle for a business trip. Being a foreigner with no residency in Ecuador, I was also really surprised to be charged the VAT, even after showing my booking confirmation that detailed the price excluding VAT. It is the first time I experience this in Ecuador.

- Tiinatiina (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very nice, the view and everything! The restaurant staff had only a little idea what they were doing, they spoke ziro language.. The waiter brought the wrong soup at the dinner for example. The breakfast service was extremely slow, no-one can never be too early at the breakfast if they need to be somewhere by time! And you also have to point out that the platter is empty, they will see it themselves maybe like half an hour later.

The staff in both the attached restaurant and on thevhotel reception made us feel very welcome and at home. For our final stay we arrived just as the restaurant was closing but they still managed to prepare something for our party. Thry even managed to prepare a brrakfast to go for one of our party who was leaving very early the following morning Overall an excellant level of service much better than some of the big hotel chains. Would I stay again, without doubt yes.

Location may not be the best to visit downtown Quito since it is quite far and there is not much around the hotel, but for me was close to University for work, so most convenient. Hotel was superb, very comfortable, with great staff, I enjoyed my short stay there

- Elizabeth (8/5): Great hotel on the outskirts of Quito. - The rooms are modern and very attractive. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. It has a small garage on site. It is a bit noisy because of a nearby busy road, but I don’t think there’s anything you can do about that.

The location in Lumbaco was chosen for its vicinity to the airport and having parking. Lumbaco itself is not very interesting, but you can get into Quito in 30 mins. The hotel staff could not be more kind or helpful. Always cheery and hardworking. There is a security guard there 24/7 so you don’t have to worry about your car. It can be a little noisy at night from car alarms and roosters.

I spent nearly 4 week at the hotel. large comfortable rooms very clean. fantastic staff. very nice bathroom, good amenities and laundry service (they charge per Kg, not per item!). It's the second time I come to this hotel and it doesn't fall short of any big fancy hotel at twice the price. The location is not at the center but is much closer to the airport and the northern exit from town, which for me was most convenient. (It costs around 12 usd to go to town by uber). Great place. I recommend warmly. a more varied breakfast buffet could have been nicer!

Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.
