- Lau (7/5): Overall a great experience! - Loved that it was right in nature and close to town. The tent walls are quite thin, you can hear people talking til quite late.
- maigan (9/5): -
- Kim (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer x - Great location and fabulous cabin. Nothing!
- Melanie (10/5): -
- Ash (8/5): -
- Steph (10/5): Our stay was quiet, refreshing and the break we needed from city life. - The incredible outdoor experience for my two sons, seeing a ring tailed possum low in a tree beside my cabin (that tried to hold my finger) and waking up to the beautiful sound of ring neck birds singing outside my cabin. I have no complaints and plan to return.
- Alice (9/5): -
- Casey (10/5): Excellent family stay! Definitely will return - The amenities and kitchen were great! All positives!

- JOSE MARIA (10/5): - La ubicación, la naturaleza alrededor, la cocina, la limpieza, todo genial
- Marie (5/5): Loved the environment but very disappointed that they would take the full cost of a glamping tent and provide just the b - We had stayed at this park previously and it was great. Loved the accommodation and environment, it was unbelievably peaceful On arrival we were informed that the glamping was intended to be very basic. When we entered the tent we found only a fridge, bedding, a queen bed, Bunks for 4, table and chairs, a little heater, bedside tables and lamps. No kettle, cups, milk, nothing to particularly welcome us. We had to scrounge cups from a fellow camper so we could make a coffee in the public kitchen probably 50 meters from our tent.
- Nelson (10/5): Awesome - Awesome Awesome
- Sabrina (9/5): Ovdrall very nice - The kitchen was vdry clean. But plates cups and cutlery was missing. So we had to buy everything
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Ashley (2/5): - Reception Lady was extremely rude
- Dan (10/5): Great facilities, friendly staff & close proximity to MTB trails - Great facilities, friendly staff & close proximity to MTB trails Nothing it’s one of our favourite places to stay
- Nguk (9/5): Superb -
- Mikki (10/5): Exceptional - It was right near the mountain bike tracks which my boys love and maybe 5 min drive to the town. It was very good Have no kettle in the room
- Bertus (10/5): - Amazing place
- Ambra (9/5): Nice relaxing stay - We stayed in the safari tent which was clean and ready for us.
Lots of space and a nice private entry facing the bush instead of the camp-site.
Toilets were clean and well kept, staff was friendly and welcoming.
The park is easy to navigate and has a nice nature base play area plus a dining area.
Easy access to Margaret River town, roughly 7min, and to tourists spots like caves and parks. Considering the price I would have added a microwave on top of the mini fridge and an extra fan as we only had one to share between the kids bunks and me.
There's the option to leave the window covers off while keeping the privacy but unfortunately no fly screen only option for the door too.
I 100% believe that if the site had also a pool it would be the best unbeatable site but it wasn't a problem for us.
- Mo (7/5): Nice and clean - Was unique and nice We were with friends to spend time together but we were not allowed to talk after 10 is bit sad part.
- Jo (9/5): Superb - Good location and cost for family of 6. Was only really for sleeping as during the day we were out seeing the sights. Our cabin unfortunately had a very musty/smokey smell to it. Other than that was a cute wee place to stay.
- Cassie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): - Started in modern eco tent. Was a fun and unique experience
- Tan (10/5): Exceptional - The tent was clean and there were towels and extra blankets provided.
Love the calm and clean environment. Pots and pans for common use might be nice.
- Kahori (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Feancy (7/5): Good - The surrounding nature and tents Heaters was not good. Our stopped working the second night.
- Joel (8/5): Very good -
- Ciaran (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): - Wonderful accommodation in the safari tent, super helpful hosts, perfect location, can’t recommend this place highly enough
- Brittany (10/5): Relaxing tranquil hideaway, perfect for a catch up with friends. Explore or relax at your pleasure. - A tranquil and beautiful setting amongst the bush. The cabin was well equipped and had more space inside than we anticipated. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and taking in the surrounds. The master bedroom was comfortable and stylish, the secondary bedroom could have fit the whole extended family. There’s little to fault, the cabins provided us with a comfortable home for the weekend, outside of this perhaps the playground could be modified slightly to include a wider age range (it’s perfect for 5 and up, not too much for toddlers). Due to the bush setting other patrons of the park exceeding the posted speed limits would stir up a decent amount of bull dust on a dry day but we hardly put this down to the park. The way our cabin was situated meant we had a security light from another building shining in the window, however the room had roller blinds to combat this, additional black out blinds might be advantageous for light sleepers.
- Pushkin78 (8/5): Very good -
- Nathan (9/5): Superb -
- Nancy (8/5): Very good will come back again - Kitchen and bathroom facilities are the best! Newly renovated bathroom, very clean, got everything we need. Kitchen aid fried pans and pots and Joseph and Joseph knives. Big bbq stove in the patio It’s a bit dark in the room need more lights
- Pushkin78 (9/5): Superb -
- Lynda (9/5): Peaceful and chilled around nature and beautiful trees - It was easy and just peaceful, surrounded by nature Perhaps a bit more ventilation
- Simon26f (9/5): Superb -
- Rommel (10/5): - Quiet , and very good place
- Anna (9/5): A great getaway. Really enjoyed the experience. Thank you - The location placed within the trees and easily accessible to bike tracks. Plenty of bush around for the kids to adventure in. When we initially arrived our cabin smelt very musky and old, however easily fixed with a store bought air freshener.
- Darren (8/5): I spent two nights, and enjoyed it immensely - It was clean and comfortable, and in a good location Nothing really, it was all good
- Vera (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (10/5): - We found this park amazing.
Spotlessly clean around the tents and facilities and just a wonderful experience.
- Donna (8/5): - Great area
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Anu (9/5): Peaceful and nice but expensive - A well-run family-friendly campsite in a peaceful gumtree forest. An absolute treat for outdoor activities. We loved it. The price is a bit silly -- we paid the same for the traditional safari tent that we'd pay for a hotel room ($174/night). It's only good value if you come with a large group. For a couple or a small family 'glamping' here is a one-off novelty.
- Malcolm (4/5): - Stayed in an eco safari tent and it was just that! Inconsiderate people next door were niosy until about 11:30pm and you can here every noise and word around the park in these tents including traffic which feels like its coming through the sleeping area! Bedding was nice and comfortable for the couple of hours sleep i got. I could only think what it would be like on a hot summers night or a freezing winters night as heating and cooling was limited. For the price of accommodation i expected much better and this being the most memorable accommodation to date for all the wrong reasons!
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julian (8/5): Very good -
- Jackie (8/5): Very good - Excellent reception to the site. As we were only stopping one night en route to Albany, unable to try the trails but other guests assured they were excellent. Eco Safari tent brilliant with very large double and separate internal area with two sets of bunk beds. Electric blanket provided for bed and sleeping bags for bunks. Just 2km from Margaret River with lots of restaurants, shops etc to suit all tastes 😁 We were traveling without camping equipment and although the camp kitchen had a few bits to borrow, it might be useful to highlight the need to bring a couple of plates, cups etc if not eating in town 😉
- Craig (10/5): - Magnificent bush land surroundings with Margeret River township only 5 minute drive away.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - Love the serenity
- Jackie (10/5): amazing. we will be back. - lovely and clean and peaceful
- Sara (7/5): Good -
- Chandre (7/5): Secluded glamping family adventure. - Location was great. Secluded and in the bush but only a short drive to shops and restaurants. Glamping tent was very cosy and loved having an electric blanket on the bed for glamping in winter. The kitchen and bathroom could do with a revamp. Maybe add a few more tables and chairs under cover. The RAC sign at the bottom of the hill needs lighting especially at night time because it can be very dark and you could miss the turn.
- Pushkin78 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (10/5): lovely place will visit again - it was neat, clean and big enough for kids to play and have fun.
- Aaron (9/5): Superb -
- Ivy-anne (9/5): Superb -
- Natasja (7/5): Good - We loved the setting in the bush away from the busy town accommodation. Waking up with the birds singing in the early morning beautiful and peaceful.
We loved the idea of camping in a tent without having to set it up and pack it down.
The staff was exceptional 👏. I didn't like the uneven rubberzied floor. It is a trip hazard. We will definitely stay in the Modern Safari tents when we go back next time. They looked better and newer from the outside. I missed having a kettle in the room and a barfridge will be a great addition to the tent.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (10/5): beautiful cosy cabin for short trip with family. could have moved in! - beautiful n/a
- Fabian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Logan (7/5): Good - it was a different experience in a lodge in the Forrest it was like glamping the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the tv was hard to navigate
- Emina (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (10/5): nice and clean, great location, beautiful trail walks - I love the trail walks around, the amenities were great, nice and close to everyone’s camps not enough things for younger kids, like playground or pool etc, we came without devices and it was pretty boring for the toddlers without bikes, but apart from that cannot complain
- Leonie (10/5): - Beautiful location in the forest. Booking was smooth and staff very polite and helpful! Definitely doing this again!
- Julie (10/5): Camping withouth bringing the tent tables and chairs. And you get to sleep in a comfortable bed. - Surrounded by the trees. Perfect for morning walk or riding bikes. Close to everything that Margarette River has to offer. If you come for a getaway to relax or go for an adventure while you also get to enjoy the best food, cheeses, and wine at the same time this is the best place.
- Sheri (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (10/5): Great chalets in the woods - We were very impressed with the chalets, they were roomy, clean & comfortable and had everything that we needed! The location was good & the caravan park as a whole was great! Although lots of kids there, it was very quiet
We’ll definitely return
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great serenity, bush front views, great family atmosphere
- Natalie Amy (10/5): Great glamping - Great accommodation, very comfortable bed. Loved the glamping, it was our first time. Thanks for the great time
- Sarah (10/5): Girls Weekend Away - My daughters went down with 3 x 20 somethings and 4 x 15yr olds. They had a terrific time! Loved the atmosphere and the tent was perfect.
They did miss having a fire outside the safari tent though...what happened?
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was good location no fan , warm inside the tent anyway
Overall it was fun
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice clean place
Wonderful fire pit
Clean toilets
Close to margarrt river
- MaK (10/5): - Love the setting nestled in the bush with accessible bike trails
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It has changed since being taken over by RAC.
There is no longer camp fires in front of each safari tent. We spoke with management and they told us to us the community fires.
So we carried all our equipment there and which was so far from our tent, cooked our lunch and were told off as they said there was no fires before 6pm! We said there was no where that stated this and they told us they forgot to put the sign up saying this and would go out it up now.
6pm to start a fire was too late to cook dinner for our young kids. It was dark, cold and the fire wasn’t able to be used until 8pm to cook as we had to wait our turn.
Site works were happening on cabins next to us and the noise was not what we were used to in a “nature” camping experience.
Not friendly, not at all like it used to be.
We won’t be returning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All good. No real issues. Possibly a bit pricey, but no real complaints
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No wifi. This was one of the main reasons I selected this property. It was advertised but broken and not repaired.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed in the Eco Safari Tent, the reception was very helpful, it was spacious with the childrens bunk beds being in a separate room, it was peaceful and very relaxing. The communal ammenities were clean, the camp kitchen was clean spacious and had everything needed, the grandchildren had a great time on the playground and the nature walks. Will go back
