Tiffany (1/5): Mostly uncomfortable - We liked the location of the property The rooms were nearly inhabitable, considering it was a 90° weekend in New York and the air conditioners were not working and the maintenance man that came up to fix them, it only worked for a couple hours after that and then I went back to be steaming hot so we were unable to sleep during the night

Viktoriya (7/5): Good location and in overall good stay - The room was clean and comfortable in overall. The view from the room was fantastic. We liked the hotel location, which is perfect for those who visits NYC for the first time. The soundproofing in the room was awful. If you are given a room on the upper floors, keep in mind that you will hear all the noise from the bar until around 3 a.m., which is really unpleasant. Also, the rooftop bar serves drinks in plastic glasses, which looks quite cheap for this type of hotel. In addition to that, the staff were not particularly attentive. Overall, they were friendly, polite, and helpful when needed, but not very detail-oriented. Perhaps this is related to their internal system. When we checked in, they tried to charge us for the reservation a second time, even though we had already paid in advance through the booking app. That was quite strange, as they asked us to provide proof of payment. It was not a problem to do so, but since it was late at night, this information really should already have been reflected in their system.
Sara (9/5): Escapadinha NYC - Boa localização. Cama muito confortável. Vista do quarto incrível quarto é muito pequeno, mal temos espaço para colocar a bagagem. E o facto do rooftop estar sempre ocupado com festas privadas. Deviam reservar um espaço para hóspedes do hotel.

Sébastien (7/5): Bon séjour dans cet hôtel, même si certains points me semblent à optimiser pour un séjour parfait. - Une chambre spacieuse et une vue incroyable. Les parties communes sont bien aménagées et élégantes. Des billets pour une croisière ou pour le musée de la ville de New York peuvent être obtenus gratuitement et le jour même grâce à un partenariat avec l’hôtel. Il est dommage que la fermeture du roof top le dimanche et le lundi n’ait pas été annoncée. Des erreurs de facturation ont été commises, heureusement rectifiées par ma vigilance. Le crédit de 20$ par chambre est insuffisant pour un petit déjeuner, il aurai été intéressant de l’attribuer par personne.

Grzegorz (6/5): Perfect location but check twice payment process to not be overcharged - Ideal location if you want to explore Manhatan Impressive view over the streets and skyscraper around the hotel Small rooms -not easy to move around when with big language. We have been additionally charged by hotel during check in despite of paying whole amount via booking before arrival ! It was discovered by myself after the trip and escalated with hotel staff and management. After couple of days emails exchange eventually whole sum was transferred back to me ( they asked to fill in return form which is a shame and finally for bank account number) Definitively something is not working in the payment process so be careful and check payments.

Capri (4/5): Not worth the high price tag - Comfortable bed and great view At check in my booking couldn't be found due to their new booking system. They gave me a new room which was not the same standard as what I paid for so I had to change rooms. The whole process took at least an hour. Went to go to the rooftop bar and was told there was a private event, not mentioned at check in. The room is tiny. The smallest I've ever seen and I am a NYC local. Woken at 2:30am by the nightclub music from the rooftop bar, I was 10 floors below so I can't imagine how loud it would be for the floors above me. I won't be staying again.

Kaleisha (1/5): WORSE HOTEL EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD IN NEW YORK AND I TRAVEL TO NEW YOUNG CONSTATLY. I should have stayed at the Motto - Nothing at all. There was constant water coming through the whole floor during my overnight stay. I was told it was fixed, they did not fix. I was told we couldn’t be moved to another room. Me and my daughter almost fell several times due to the wet floor. We were beyond uncomfortable. I paid upfront which I usually do when traveling they claimed they could not give me money off. Instead they offered me a $20 credit at their cafe. The staff is also rude not accommodating

Richard (9/5): Great location, great staff, and great rooms. Ticked all the boxes. - Location is excellent with nearby subway stations and lots of areas of Manhattan are walkable from the hotel. The staff in the lobby were helpful and friendly. The room was great. We know that the rooms were going to be on the small side but that's not an issue for us as we are out and about most of the time. The rooms were well designed, quiet, and comfortable. We travelled with two middle aged parents and two children aged 18 and 21. We asked for rooms on higher floors and with great views and the Moxy team delivered, providing an executive room for my wife and I on the 27th floor (which was fine for size) and two rooms for our 'young adult' children on the 31st floor with ESB views. Nothing at all bad with our stay. It was great. The lobby and elevator vibe with lighting and music were not really designed with us oldies in mind, but that is OK as this is the youth oriented arm of the hotel chain and it works for the younger ones, and it was just the right vibe for them! If we went without the children, we would have picked a hotel more suitable for our age group, but this worked really well for our group as a whole.

Ellen (9/5): - Modern en locatie. Geweldig uitzicht op Empire State Building vanuit de kamer die we hadden! De douche was perfect. Het is dicht bij metrostation, en toch redelijk rustig met het geluid van buiten. Personeel was heel vriendelijk! Kamer was redelijk klein, koffers kan je niet goed kwijt. Af en toe wat langer op de lift wachten.

Maggie (8/5): I am not cool enough for this place - The room was perfect for one person and a quick stay. Very clean, well situated. A little noisy because I was on a low floor. Otherwise it was great. Wished I’d stayed there a week later based on the experience at the other hotel. This was beyond my budget that time. For more than a few days or with another person it would be too tight. Breakfast is the onsite coffee shop. I couldn’t eat there because it was just pastry and I can’t eat gluten.
