- Vatcharapong (5/5): The place seems expensive considering the price. - Location The room I got didn’t match the photo advertised here. The building is aged. The room is basic and could be cleaner. The bathroom has some smell. WiFi didn’t work. To be fair, the staff came out to try to help though it still didn’t work. Breakfast isn’t great and should be better. Overall, not great value.

Vi bodde i rum 101 på första våningen av 2 med en trappa på sidan av väggen. Man hörde direkt när någon gick där. Min familj bodde i rummet bredvid och de hörde också. Näten på balkongen var sönder i flera rum. Sängarna va rätt så hårda och kuddarna va rätt så tjocka så man fick ont i nacken. Kunde funnits nattduksbord bredvid sängarna

- David (7/5): - Nice location. Good views from the rooms. Hard beds. We stayed in the VIP villa, the living area was sparsely furnished. Only 2 power sockets in the whole villa. No makeup area for the ladies.
- Morten (8/5): We were overall very satisfied with the hotel – it was good value for money and friendly staff. - ç The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic view from the villa we had rented. The place is a bit remote, and you will need a car or other transportation to get to and from the hotel. However, the staff are very willing to help by picking up takeaway food, drinks, and other necessities from nearby eateries. You can also book delivery from 7-Eleven. Breakfast was of a satisfactory standard, with both Thai and European dishes. There is no restaurant at the hotel otherwise, and no bar either, so no alcohol is served. It’s a great place to stay for a few days while exploring the many attractions in the area. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The villa we had booked was very nice and spacious. It was the 85 m² unit with two bedrooms, a large living room, and a long, beautiful balcony running the full length of the villa. Located on the first floor with stairs. Unfortunately, the bathroom was, like many other places in Thailand, poorly designed. It looked nice, but it was really lacking shelves and counter space for makeup, soap, shampoo, etc. They also have the unfortunate habit of placing the toilet far too close to the wall, which makes it uncomfortable to sit — I’m not sure why they do that. There were also no bath mats for the wet floor, but we were given extra towels upon request. This was probably the only thing we felt could have been better.

I wouldnt say I dislike but for Westerners travelling Breakfast was mainly Asian, there was cereal and toast. Dinner not available at property apart from maybe a pizza. Had to go into town for a meal. Maybe grab snacks and drinks before checking in.

- Pooi Ming (7/5): Pleasant stay but with some minor setbacks - I like the serenity of the place. The area has agricultural plantation, other accommodation that were located some distance away. My booking was for a 2 bedroom villa that had attached bathroom in each of the room. There was also a large outdoor space for hanging out complete with a mesh netting in one of the section that overlooked the ground floor area. Very lush and pleasing surrounding. Staff was helpful, to the extent of letting us use their 7-11 convenience store app to order food and delivery. Bear in mind, there is only a nearby restaurant that is about 10-15 mins walk away. And it was so dark at night which discouraged us. We only went once to that restaurant for early dinner and then back to the resort. Breakfast was nothing fancy, just basic items. We had air conditioning problem on the 2nd day and although it was resolved much later that night, the problem arose again the next day. We were offered the next villa but it was a 1 bedroom villa and thus, we had 2 side by side units. This 1 bedroom villa only has a small balcony but otherwise whole unit was enclosed and therefore, no insects! Water pressure was also much better. In this unit, a microwave was provided along a refrigerator. We only had a refrigerator for the 2 bedroom villa. The 1st night we were swamped with flying insects that crawled into our rooms as well. We literally had to switch off all lights except for one and ran into our rooms sealing the door edge. The shower in both our rooms had inconsistent pressure. The 3rd night as we were transferred to a 1 bedroom villa, the bed was a simple metal bed, thin frame, soft mattress, soft pillows that sank to the bed when laid on, bedding and comforter was cheap hotel style fittings. Water pressure although was much better, the shower head leaked so it was literally back to square one! They don't have a phone that you can call front desk if you had a problem. You need to walk to the main reception which, luckily for us, was just below our unit. If your unit is located away from the main reception, be ready to walk some distance for breakfast and back.

- Grace (8/5): Acceptable accommodation for a short stay. - 1. Peaceful location, about 7 mins drive from Khao Kho main street. They can accommodate big groups. 2. Cooling temperatures in the morning and evening. 3. Value for money accommodation in Khao Kho with a modern interior setting. A lot of the other accommodations look like homestays while I was researching about Khao Kho. 4. Limited items for breakfast but it tasted okay. We were able to get a hearty breakfast daily before setting off for our sightseeing. 5. Lastly, we were not expecting WIFI in the rooms since it was stated there will be no internet. So imagine our surprise when we did get some WIFI signals (weak signals but better than nothing). 1. The rooms are scattered around the premise in various blocks on the slopes and located a distance from the reception/cafe. Walking up with luggage will be challenging on the gravel road. We engaged a private car with driver, so the driver will drop us at our rooms at the end of the day and pick us up from the reception lobby (where we have our breakfast). 2. The toilet in our room is also quite moldy (could be due to the damp environment). 3. Our room does not have insect net at the door hence mosquitoes got in. The room beside ours has insect net. 4. The shower used instant heater. The water temperature was lukewarm at best, which is quite cold when bathing since the temperature outside had dropped below 20 degC. Also the basin tap water is icy.

I have a little mobility problem and one member of staff made me some buttered toast as it was the far side of the very big restaurant. A lovely surprise. Reception staff also good on arrival. We had room service for dinner which was excellent service and quantity. This is the main issue. All the nearby resorts and hotels are built on the mountain side. Access to our room was extremely difficult and many guests also struggled to climb the many concrete steps. I don't know how to improve things but maybe a building contractor could make access easier. Plus, the resort is a little difficult to find after a 400 km mountain road drive. So many advertisements along the roads.

The rooms were very modern and had a balcony with a view The location could be better because our room was on a steep hill and was on the top floor which meant carrying the suitcase up two flights of very steep stairs. There was no help from the hotel. Not suitable for elderly people. There was a problem with the water supply and water was only available very early in the morning. There was no table in the room which was a negative.
