Shower and restroom were very nice and clean. This is specifically for hotels in the Philippines. After staying in a few hotels here you will understand why this is in a comment. 1. There is no elevator in the hotel. That is a boarder line rating of a 6 but this seems to be a common thing in the Philippines. Carrying a family of six, suitcases up three stories is not what I expected to do when booking at this hotel. 2. The first day the restaurant ran out of bacon. The second day still no bacon, then they ran out of bananas. I would expect a hotel restaurant that has limited items on a menu with limited hours of operation be able to manage their inventory of food.

The free breakfast was nice, the restaurant offers a nice selection from their. menu. It is not a fancy place, but the accommodations are very nice. Excellent value.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Pricey for the amenities provided - Generally ok for transient use but found it a bit pricey given the condition of the hotel. It’s also strange to find out that the deluxe room for twin beds is more expensive than 1 queen bed which is unusual practice in hotels. There was a little cockroach on the bed when I woke up in the miffed of the night. Food in their restaurant is pleasant.

• Donnabelle (9/5): Charming Stay with Outstanding Service, But Needs Accessibility Improvements - We stayed at Casa Veles Hotel for 2 nights, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I booked, their prompt responses to my queries made the process smooth and reassuring. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to assist with every little request, showcasing genuine hospitality. The rooms were modern, clean, well-maintained. I highly recommend Casa Veles for its excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely return for another stay! Needs Improvement: The absence of an elevator made accessing upper floors challenging for guests with mobility concerns. Addressing this aspect could make Casa Veles more comfortable for all travelers including PWDs and elderly guests.

• Melinda (9/5): A RELAXING STAY - The hotel is relatively new. The room is very spacious, clean, and has a good layout. I like the fact that they're environmentally friendly. They will not give you free water bottles. Instead, there's a water dispenser just by the hallway to refill your own flask or pitcher. They also provided just 2 towels. All you need to do is call the housekeeping to provide you with floor towels. The bed/mattress is 10/10. My husband slept like a log. Location wise, it's safe and quiet in the surrounding areas as it's located within FAB (Freeport Authority of Bataan). It's just a few-minute walk to convenience stores, and about 10-minute walk to Hap Chan Restaurant where we had dinner. Tricycles are also waiting nearby if you want to go downtown. There is also a jeep passing just around the corner if you want a different mode of transportation. There is a parking space too if you will bring your own vehicle. But it is limited to 4-5 slots only and it's on a first-come, first served basis. Street parking is allowed though, so no need to worry about your vehicle. Breakfast is plated and the serving is quite small. I ordered Bagnet, but could not eat all because they gave me the very fatty part. The free welcome drink (iced tea) is a bit too sweet, so order for extra ice or water.

Very good Chinese food restaurant 10 min walk. Only Beach nearby, shopping must travel 1 hour or so by bus to closest mall and market.

• Mark (9/5): Good value for money, very clean rooms! - This is a very simple hotel, but well worth your money. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and you get your money's worth. Place is clean, bathroom is spotless. We cannot complain! It's not a resort for a holiday, but it's a very good hotel if you need to be nearby to do other touristy things in the area. They didn't have an elevator -- and would have been nice to be informed ahead of time, esp. when we requested for special accommodations for our senior parents at time of booking.

• Verified traveler (2/5): A TOTAL SCAM!!!! - Booked at Hotels.com because it says that there is an available room, once paid thru the website, a personnel called me and said that there have been a mistake and there are no rooms available on our booking date, the personnel ask if I could cancel the booking, but when I click cancel, I can only refund half of the amount I paid, the personnel said that they will contact Hotels.com or if we want they will move us to a different hotel. They called again and said that Hotels.com can only refund half so our only option is to accept the refund (which is not our fault from the start) or move to a different hotel, they said that they have found a hotel near them and they could arrange the booking, we agreed. When our guests have arrived at the hotel, they were given a receipt for the hotel accom. only to found out that the hotel room they moved our guest is only half of the price we have paid Casa Veles.

Started off at first impression: The front desk attendant was rude and spoke in a different language to her co-worker about how I was causing her a lot of stress at check-in. She assumed I didn’t understand the language. Highly disappointed in their hospitality. Construction on a new hotel across from this hotel, lobby noises echoed throughout the halls because there is nothing to absorb the noise, no elevator/lift, no way of traveling around the area (via tricycle, Jeepney, Grab or taxi) unless you have your own vehicle. The hotel shuttle hires pricey private drivers back to Orion to catch the ferry back to Manila. We paid ahead for 2 night stay in full before we checked in but we checked out a day early.
