- Kevin (4/5): - The property was average. The room had some updates, but the decor had alot of whinsy. The manager made efforts but i could tell she has had to deal with alot difficult customers. The hurricane caused my flights to be cancelled so i had to leave abruotly, but was refused to ger a partial refund of any kind. Didnt leave a good feel.
- Mari (6/5): Worst place ever - Don’t stay here if you have high expectations. We had the presidential suite the biggest unit. Has two floors. Lots of room. But lots of almost broken things. It would have been fine, if the AC worked so them not having that fixed until our last day was a nightmare. We had a 4 day reservation and only the first day was alright. We had 3 babies and we were in there with 88 degrees and the lady there said she couldn’t do anything other than call the owner to send someone to fix it. Guess what someone came at 11 pm !! For a whole hour to try and fix it and only got it to work for 10 hours while we slept. So two days during the whole day it was hotter inside than outside. You literally don’t see any customer service person until the check in time. She is only available then. Anyone with little kids should never stay here. I should have called the police when we had to suffer through that.
- Daniel (8/5): Decent bed and breakfast - Nice bed and breakfast. Good room but had no Kleenex or a comfortable chair to rest in. Also has styrofoam plates and plastic spoons and forks; otherwise has a nice kitchenette. King bed very comfy. Close to some good restaurants. 2 blocks from the beach.
- Katrena (2/5): - I’ll start with the good. Being more north it is quieter and it was an easy 2 block walk to the public beach access. The pool was also very nice. We had kids with us and it was deep enough for the big kids and adults and had a nice shallow area for the younger kids to enjoy as well. The bath towels were nice and plenty were provided. The negative. We booked the “apartment” as this was a family trip and there were 10 of us total. We submitted the number of people when booking the trip. There was was not enough pillows or bedding so we ended up having to make a last minute run to a local Walmart get our own bedding as the the office closes at 6pm and the attendant never returned any of our phone calls. To be fair it does state on the info that the front office is not 24 hours but a call back even the next day would have been appreciated. The free continental breakfast was frozen toaster waffles, off brand cereal, and instant oatmeal packets. Additionally the orange juice was also a powder mix. The unit we were in sort of had central air but it wasn’t strong enough to cool the entire place so they had individual units in each bedroom. The 2nd night we were there the unit in one of the bedroom stopped working. We called and of course no call back. To be fair it was around 7:30pm and the attendant had left. It was just too hot so we left early and checked into a different hotel. Again no call back. Even the next day. All things considered I wouldn’t book here again.
- Maya (6/5): - The place was just okay. It’s called a bed and breakfast but barely any breakfast. Staff even said that. They use Styrofoam and expected to put it in the microwave. Bright lights on all night with no blackout windows. Rooms were okay. Paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom.

- Donna (2/5): - My experience here at this hotel was terrible the front desk clerk was very rude and disrespectful she wouldn’t wouldn’t let me check in early and I have traveled a long way to check into the hotel she slammed the door in my face and told me no I couldn’t check in early I didn’t get the correct room I paid for my girlfriend was pregnant that was a reason I wanted to check in early even if I had to pay more I had to go other places until I could get checked in at 4:00pm when I arrived at 11:00am it was just a terrible experience I will not stay here again or recommend any one to stay here at this hotel and the money it’s not worth paying at this hotel I was very disappointed
- Shana (2/5): Highly disappointed!! - I will never stay at this place again! There was an unauthorized 200 dollar deposit and it took 7 days to be refunded back to my card. The lady at the front desk was rude and seemed to be irritated about any and everything. The pool was extremely dirty the room was also dirty. My boyfriend discovered 2 people in the parking lot they both appeared to be on drugs slumped over. I tired to call this place multiple times in regards to the unauthorized deposit and I never got an answer. Very unprofessional

She was so bothered that I asked to check the room first. Charged me $100 and try to call for an explanation but never answers phone.

- ben (2/5): - The 24 hour service is untrue, there is one member on staff for 8 hours a day. They give you a single key for your stay and the doorknobs are a bit broken. So my girlfriend and I wanted to see if the pool was clean (debatable), and the doorknob locked behind us due to a faulty spring. This means we were locked out at 10 am and had to sleep in the back of our car the first day of the stay. I called expedia and they called the property owner who claimed "we have stayed there for two weeks and keep losing keys", even though at that point we had been checked in for 6 hours. No apology in the morning and the breakfast is just eggos and stale cereal.
- Paul (2/5): - Terrible don’t stay here. Staff was rude the place was dirty. Hole’s in the wall and the bed mattress had a big crevice in it that they knew about and rented out the room anyway. They changed me a $200 un authorized fee. The rooms smelled musky and mildew.

Breakfast was terrible frozen waffles with cold coffee and nasty orange water not juice. The site needs more cleaning and maintence throughout. 0verall Iwill not recommend or use this place again.

- Alexis (6/5): Hotel stay - It appeared clean until I took off the sheets it seem to have rat droplets on the bed. There was no one available to give me the bed cot or give extra wash cloths or towels. There is no iron or body mirror. They do not give extra bag for dirty towels/cloths or for trash. The bed was comfy and sheets appeared clean.
- Sophia (10/5): - This hotel is very cute and special, feels like you are at your favorite aunts house who loves plants and cute yard trinkets/decorations. It's not a 5 star hotel so dont come here expecting that, it was exactly what my boyfriend and I wanted! When we arrived we were greeted kindly and given a personal walk through of the property to our room. The room was very clean, we had a queen room. It was spacious for us, had a mini fridge and microwave that worked great. The pool was clean and the hottub was hot, so i can debunk the other reviews calling it a warmtub haha. We ended up adding an extra night because we were so comfortable at Serendipity hotel!! Definitely coming back in the future!!
- Heather (6/5): Not a Bed and Breakfast - Upon arrival, the proprietor was rude. Our reservation confirmation said that check in is at 2pm. We arrived at 2:30pm. She said that “it doesn’t matter what the internet says, check in has been 4pm for 20 years.” Her rudeness did not change throughout the trip. Our room was changed without our permission but we made it work. We were supposed to have 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa, but we’re given 1 king bed and a sleeper sofa. The proprietor complained that we had too many people for our room, yet if we had the room we reserved we would have been fine. She told our CHILDREN that we would have to pay fines if the fire Marshall came, and was rude when we asked for more towels. The rooms were not clean. The floors made our kids feet black, the door to the bathroom had lipstick kisses on it. The furniture was old and falling apart. This is not a bed and breakfast. The breakfast consisted of frozen waffles, bagels, bread for toast, instant grits you make yourself, instant oatmeal you make yourself, and generic cereal. We made it work but we will not return and do not recommend this property.

Overall , we enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and other attractions (putt putt and restaurants )

- Mark (8/5): Our new getaway spot - Very private, love hot tub and pool. Rooms were small but comfortable for a one bed. This is the retreat you need for couples as there were only 3 people there at the inn and it was very quiet. There were a few problems like getting in contact with them and the bathroom door didnt close but still a great stay and we will be back.
- Travis (2/5): - Place is a hot mess under new management.Real small shower n a hole in top of wall of the ceiling in the shower.No sleep the whole weekend people over top of you in and out all night long arguing n drinking n smoking n moving stuff sounding like they were coming through the ceiling at the bed n breakfast. Don’t go by the pictures it’s not as clean as it appears on website. No one ever answers the phone and there’s no more breakfast after labor day weekend at the bed n breakfast.

There is no check in, just a note on the office door with your name and room number listed- find it yourself and hunt for the towels that are hidden in an arbitrary dresser drawer. No explanation of breakfast which is only for 1 hour. No one answers the office phone most of the time. TV did not work. Kitchen had no dishes or utensils. Carpets on the landings are stained and filthy- no hand railing on stairs to second floor. Owner is rude and hides from her guests. Garbage cans are at the curb and overflowing with rotting garbage in them. Pricing is outrageously high for such an awful inn. It needs to be sold to an owner who cares and takes pride in their business as though thoroughly run down and dated, the place has potential. Until there is a change in ownership, DO NOT STAY HERE!

- Emilce (2/5): - Travellers be aware!! Do not go to this hotel, it is not safe AT ALL!! First of all at the time we checked in, the front desk smelled cigarettes So bad. The lady gave us the keys for the 2 room we booked, but to our surprise on one of the rooms the door lock was broken on the inside so it couldn't lock or unlock. And for the second room key didn't work either. BIG ISSUE because there were 3 kids. In addition to that, the light switch was taped holding electric cable. We were told no to touch it otherwise we would not have not lights in the room. Not forgetting the conforter were moist, we were told they were cold. When booking I understood it was an unexpensive rustic place but THAT WAS TOO MUCH! When addressing all these issues with the lady, she stood behand no refund policy! We did not stay there, and I requested ny money back to hotel and Expedia but no results! What a shame!! I was charged for a service to be defective and no owner answer not Expedia help! I would strongly appeal to owner of this place to be fair to customers and refund my money, and be aware of promises needed improvement.

- ERIC (2/5): Bugs - Worst place ever they are infested with fleas own shows up about the complaint and gave us another room with more fleas and in turn they give us a can of raid and then we left after that and can't reach the manager and own refuses all calls for a deposit refund and reinbersment for the night early check out

One set of sheets weren't white, which means you cannot bleach them while washing. Same for the towels. There was a hole in the sheet rock where the door knob went through it. There was a cord running from the TV out the window so the window would not shut. Very out dated even for the price.
