• Alejandro (3/5): - Location was great and one of the staff was checking on me to make sure I accessed the room as reception only works for a few hours during the day Communication was terrible apart from the one mentioned HK accessed my room even though I asked not to, something stained my sheets all the sudden so it made it worse Then I asked to do the bed myself as I didn't want the staff to keep entering my room and even though I was waiting for ages to get the sheets , the HK entered my room once again without my permission. I was carrying very expensive leaves that I had in my room and they binned them so that not only made me lose money but also messed up with my whole trip around Asia not having them

• Benjamin (9/5): - Location Super dusty on high surfaces and cleaning had to be prompted after toilet tissue and paper towels were put in the room (as the cleaning).
• Kari (6/5): Close proximity to malls, public transportation, eateries, as well as helpful staff. - The apartment is located very close to a metro /MRT station. There is an excellent supermarket located around the corner and it's open 24 hours. Also an open-air eating place selling delicious Chinese and Indian Muslim food. Very reasonable prices. There was construction nearby and it was 6 days a week from 8am -6pm. If your room was located on the side where the construction was taking place, then the noise level could have been high. The 1st room we were allocated to had ant like insects all over. The staff always reacted to our complaint and sprayed some poison but these only lasted for a few hours and the insects returned. Luckily the staff found us another room at no extra charge and we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay.

Airconditioning would not blow at warmer than frozen. Noisy construction site over the road. Not serviced at all during a one week stay. No towel renewal at all. No wash and dry facility for kitchenette.
• Ilaria (4/5): Too noisy - The room had a washing machine, which has been useful for us. The hotel is located very conveniently near the MRT and close to the centre. Our room was INCREDIBLY NOISY, directly facing a huge construction site with constant drilling from 8.30am to 7pm every day, which made it impossible to be in the room during those hours. Our towels were completely dirty with stains and marks (although the staff changed them immediately once we complained).

• mhergh (9/5): Great value for the buck, anytime back. - Incredibly clean, very well positioned in the downtown center. Nice add, a washmaschine was available in the appartment. Very well suited for long term stays. We were very happy there, but we are generally flexible in our demands - so, if you are OK with a 3-star level, this will make it; if you book anything 4-star as a minimum, you have to look further. Well, it was not initially mentioned (before the booking made) that it was about 50m far away from a very loud construction site. In the hotel confirmation it was still mentioned; however, it was not a real problem for us, we very most of the time outside and the booking was made with a relaxed cancellation policy, so one could have cancelled and booked something else. Was also surprised that the windows were not well sealed - but the air conditioning was still highly effective in cooling.

I didn’ - The property didn’t feel like 4* hotel, but it was ok and it had everything I needed It had 2 separate lifts that didn’t properly work most of the time when using my hotel card. Outside tables had a layer of dust and the pool wasn’t particularly clean. My room was ok - had all the essentials but it had some strange smell that eventually I got used to.

All cooking utelsils was given and it is very conveniently located near Sommerset MRT They only clean twice per week, if they increase it, it would be nicer. Staff should brush bathfloor instead of mopping, if not algae will form over time

• Jessica (7/5): Comfortable room, terrible bathroom - I liked the location and the staff, though they couldn't fulfil all my requests (and housecleaning threw away something minor that I meant to keep at one point and had not flagged as trash), they did do their best. The overall stay was good, and the location is pretty good too. The booking.com listing was upfront about the construction noise, and the noises were mostly from like 8:30 am to sometime in the evening, minus Sundays I think. They could be somewhat loud sometimes, bjut not all the time, and it did wake me up a couple of times in the morning, but I knew this coming in and I do not actually dislike construction noises, they're kind of nostalgic for me and remind me of my early Singapore life, hah. So the noise was not a negative for me and netted me a discount anyway, plus you should be out travelling most of the day anyway! The bathroom was a major negative for me. The shower flow was so weak that the water wouldn't even penetrate my hair if I took it off the wall, and the "three in one" body wash/shampoo/conditioner was so lousy, it was like some NS serviceman with crew cut or shaved head set this up and was like "Ok, it works for me, there's no way females or people with longer, thicker hair or other skin needs or anything need anything more, right?" So cheap. In addition, there were constantly drain flies around the drain and on the walls in the bathroom too, I drowned easily 5-15 every single night that I was here. They're not "harmful" in the sense that you aren't going to get mosquito bites from them, but they are terribly distressing when I'm showering and I look down to see that one has landed on me, you know? Because the shower head was so weak, this exacerbated the problem too. Firstly, it made it much harder to drown the vermin, and secondly, the idea behind these shower heads is that you put it high up and gravity would add force to it. And yes, this works, except that this also means you have to stand right up against the walls too because there's no force from the showerhead. You know, the walls with drain flies on them. The room was comfortable and overall nice, but every single evening, I dreaded coming home to shower.

Even with our what we didn't like comments it was not a bad place. Very dated and quite shabby. The floor was lifting and was a trip hazard. Facilities were limited, only 2 of everything I know there were only 2 of us, but at times we would have benefited from more cutlery and crockery. There was mould in the bathroom, some on the wall which they did come and clean, and some in the corner and the bottom of the door in the shower. The patio door was dirty and there were finger marks on the wardrobe and cupboard doors. Attention to detail and deep cleaning is required throughout.

• Chris (8/5): My favorite for long stay - I've stayed there for the 3rd time. Location is perfect. All you need is nearby. Microwave and washing machine are perfect for a long stay. Not luxury but price is quite fair for the location. I will book again! No socket near the bed but there is a long extended power strip. No bedside lamp but they provided one when requested. Only one sink but it was ok.

The photos are accurate but must be years old. They are in desperate need of renovation. The room was clean but it did not feel like it at all. Warped floorboards with huge, dirty gaps between them. Beaten furniture and permanent oil stains. Peeling paint under the AC. This place was a good price but honestly it felt terrible to stay at. I disliked my stay here the entire time. My room smelt like the bathroom so I had to invest in an oil diffuser so I didnt constantly feel naseous from the smell. I stayed here for two weeks so I just had to make do.

• Chris (8/5): Great value - It's my 2nd stay here. Good value for a long stay. Location is convenient with Somerset MRT nearby. Plenty of restaurants and 2 small supermarkets very close. Just what I needed. My best option in Singapore. Smooth self check in. Rooms are a little bit outdated but clean. Maybe noisy, because there is a big building construction work in progress on daytime. Rooms are not soundproof at all. Anyway, I will come back on my next trip in Singapore.

• Anand Ag (1/5): Rude Staff, poor cleaning but good location. - The property location is very good and most comfortable location around the city, in simple words its center location. The behavior of staff too rude, the immidiate want you to checkout as clock ticks at 11:00 AM even they cant want to wait for 2 minutes so arrogant and rude, cleaning happens twice in as week and smell of garbage is flowing around.

Close to transport, cafes, restaurants, supermarket etc The staff were helpful, the room was large and included a kitchenette and washing machine. The decore could be updated a bit but overall there was nothing to complain about.

• henry (9/5): Perfect location, friendly staff. - Loved the location, close to everything! The Somerset MRT and bus stops were just 5 minutes away, groceries and malls also nearby. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. The washing machine was very useful for a long stay. I liked that the cleaning lady only serviced the room twice a week, this gave us more privacy. The room was not spic and span clean. There were so many areas that needed deep cleaning. The room is a serviced apartment so do not expect it to look like a hotel room. The facilities are a bit dated.

• Li (4/5): Worried about security issues - The property is in a good location, close to several shopping malls The level of noisy sound for the nearby construction site is UNBEARABLE!!!!!!! The construction went all the way from 7:30am to 8:00pm, and it is super LOUD. The building is very old as I can tell from the internal decorations and hence the sound-proof is not well. Additionally, the door and window locks of my room was either broken or not very secure. Unlike normal hotels that you would usually see, there was no safety lock on the doors and the old-fashioned ball locks they use can be easily broken with a hair pin. The window lock is broken so I was not able to lock the window in the night, which made me worried since the room was on the fourth/fifth floor. Although there is a lock at the main gate and only customers have access into the building, that did not make people feel secured since you don’t know who is living inside the building and anyone of them can easily break into your room with tutorial available online. Besides, there is no front desk and security in the building after 8 pm.

• Billy (7/5): Moderate experience. Still have lots of improvemnet need to be made. - Have washijg machine. No need to spend extra fee on wahsing the clothes. If you plan to book this hotel in 9-2025, beware of the noise from construction site from 8:30-6:30 every Monday to Satirday. There are many “stains” on the bed and pillows. The lights are sometimes flashing. The housekeeping isn’t satisfying. There are still lots of dust on the desk. The refrigerator isn’t cool enough.
• EILEEN (4/5): “Unclean, Poorly Maintained, and Frustrating Experience" - The location was great, near to mrt stations. We had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. The room was filthy when we arrived, with stains all over the bed, forcing us to spend over an hour cleaning it ourselves. The furniture was old, dirty, and poorly maintained, which made the entire place feel neglected. The Wi-Fi was weak and constantly cut off, making it impossible to watch anything on TV. When I asked the staff for assistance, they promised a technician but instead, a housekeeping staff member came and simply dropped a replacement TV on the floor, leaving us to install it ourselves. Even the room door latch and balcony lock were broken on the first day. Although these were eventually fixed, the overall lack of care and professionalism from the staff left a lasting negative impression. This hotel badly needs a serious upgrade in both cleanliness and service.
