Nous avons pu nous sentir vraiment Alezes grâce ce service d du personnels Pas grand-chose. Il faut considérer le prix pour pouvoir critiquer quoi que ce soit. Et pour le prix payer j’en ai eu pour mon argent.

- Ricardo (9/5): - L'accueil évidemment, Le petit déjeuner est mixte continental et marocain et peut se prendre au magnifique jardin, la piscine, la décoration typique de Fes.. Le wifi dans la chambre est faible mais suffisant ailleurs.
- patricia (9/5): Très bon séjour. Fès est une très belle ville et le riad est un havre de paix - L accueil du propriétaire et toutes ses explications sur l' histoire de la ville. Un puits de connaissance. Le petit déjeuner au calme dans le jardin. Le délicieux diner cuisiné maison même s il est un peu cher pour le Maroc. Le lit un peu dur. Un peu loin du centre mais on le savait. On a quand même tout fait à pied.

- laurent (8/5): De très bonnes vacances - Nous avons étés reçu par le propriétaire qui est d'une gentillesse extrême et qui à une très grande culture. Il nous accueillit avec un délicieux thé et un cours gratuit sur l'histoire de Fès, les lieux à visiter et de supers conseilles. L'appartement été juste splendide et très propre, la vue sur la piscine juste magnifique. Rien ne manquait. Nous avons eu peur en s'asseyant sur les lits qui étaient très dure. Mais au final nous avons tous passés nos meilleurs nuits. Le premier soir nous avons mangés sur place. Nous nous remettons pas du repas que nous avons eu, un vrai délice. Le personnel à votre écoute et surtout très très gentil. Avant de partir nous avons pu nous entretenir à nouveau avec le propriétaire et avons pu lui poser toutes les questions que nous avions, sur leur culture, la religion.... J’admire son ouverture d'esprit Le bruit dans la cuisine et dans le couloir, maintenant notre appartement donné directement à coté donc on se faisait une raison. Et cela nous permettait de se lever tôt et de profiter de la journée.
- Martha (7/5): Nice hotel, unhelpful staff - The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was especially nice. The location is in the new city so very convenient from the train station. The staff were very unhelpful when we checked in - someone let us in and then disappeared, and we were waiting half an hour to get into our room. They also reacted to me asking for the key to our room as if that was a major inconvenience. They explained there was a large group arriving at the same time but there was no apology for the poor service. We were not given a key to the external door, so when returning in the evening had to wait for someone to come and let us in. The WiFi also didn't really work. Finally, this is much more a hotel than a riad, so wouldn't recommend for anyone wanting an authentic riad experience.

Puntuali nel trovarla , troppo cara però , ci ha portato in giro per la medina come un GPS , superficiale , senza spiegare nel dettaglio la storia del posto. Sconsigliato il servizio guida.
- Christiane (10/5): Dieses Riad ist eine gemütliche und authentische Unterkunft, die mit viel Liebe und Herzblut geführt wird - Einfach alles. Das Riad ist im typischen marokkanischen Stil, jedes Zimmer ist anders, sehr geschmackvoll und wohnlich und ruhig. Der Eigentümer spricht fließend deutsch und ist wie ein Geschichtslehrer. Die Angestellten sind auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem kocht seine Frau auf Wunsch zu Abend, seeehr empfehlenswert! Man fühlt sich dort pudelwohl.

- Helier (7/5): Lovely cafe called Assouan on the corner, delicious breakfasts - Clean and warm room Had to ask Manager to sort out hot water a few times as we had to run the taps and shower for several minutes to get warm water. Some days no hot water. Had breakfast at 9.00am so by this time a lot of breakfast had gone. Had to ring Riad main door to be let in. Medina quite far and needed a taxi each way and drivers are reluctant to take you.

La camera era molto nella media, il bagno aveva il minimo indispensabile, mi ricordo che c'era solo forse una saponetta e il phon era scomodissimo. Per un albergo a Meknes che comunque è una delle città meno turistiche del Marocco per un prezzo del genere mi aspettavo molto di piu.

- Giuliana (5/5): - The riad is amazing. It is located in the modern side of the city and the style is very traditional. Before arriving, I informed the property that we would reach the bus station at 4 a.m. The secretary told me that the riad would open at 6 a.m., so we waited at the station until then. When we arrived at the riad, no one opened the door and we had to make several calls, even disturbing the imam, to get assistance. Imagine being in a new city, in the rain, with a cold, and having to wait outside for more than half an hour. We were exhausted and just wanted to rest, but we were told we could not stay in the common areas and were repeatedly advised to go to nearby cafés for breakfast. The ground-floor room was very small and located next to the kitchen and the main door, making it extremely noisy. Additionally, the bedsheets were heavily scented with perfume, which was uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite disappointing as well.

Just an observation: I did the checkout at 07:00 and there was no one at the desk. Then, the day before they told me I would have got a take away breakfast, but there was nothing.

Host is friendly and chatty. The property is better suited to families and couples. Access is limited and somewhat restrictive. Guest visits are also highly restricted. - Roeb (5/5): Mehr Schein als sein - Es hatte auf den ersten Blick den Flair, die Einrichtung, von 1001 Nacht, bzw. wie wir uns dies vorstellen. Das Frühstück entsprach nicht dem Foto von booking com. Nach Brot mussten wir mehrmals fragen. Kleine Plastikmarmeladendöschen. Weder Obst noch Gemüse noch Käse. Tische waren bis mittags nicht abgeräumt oder gesäubert. Teppich in unserem Zimmer war fleckig. Kakerlaken in Dusche, unter dem Bett und in Blumenvase..WLAN funktionierte meist nicht.

Small, comfortable room but plenty of places to sit and relax in the property including pool area. Staff were friendly Location was further from the medina than I thought.

Если вы любите прогулки , то пешком можно дойти до всех исторических объектов. Отель прекрасно оформлен внутри марокканском стиле. Удобная кровать, комфортный номер, в номере есть сейф. Очень дружелюбный персонал.

- William (10/5): Beautiful riad and hospitable staff - The building and accommodations were beautiful. We opted for dinner there the first night and it was amazing...though the four-course Moroccan meal was too much food for us. At our request, the staff arranged a tour guide and driver to give us a four-hour tour of the medina and the whole experience was excellent. Although the internet was not particularly speedy, I enjoyed doing some work and holding an online meeting while sitting in the beautifully maintained garden. The daily breakfast was also good and street parking was easily available. I cannot think of anything I would change. If you are looking for a place near the medina, this is not it...this riad is located in a fairly modern part of the city. But that also makes it convenient to several very nice and popular cafes.

Gerne wieder. Wir haben einen Flughafentransfer über die Unterkunft gebucht, leider hat man uns vergessen und erst nach mehrfachen Nachfragen wurde doch noch ein Transfer organisiert. Wir haben es aber pünktlich zu unserem Flug geschafft.

Anbei Foto vom "Frühstücksbuffet" 30 min nach Start, immer noch vollkommen unvollständig. So lief es auch am 2. Tag.

Ici, pas de luxe ostentatoire, mais le luxe suprême : celui du cœur et de l'authenticité. Preuve que les plus grands voyages mènent toujours aux plus belles rencontres. Aux âmes en quête de sens : Le Maroc ne se visite pas, il se vit - et Dar Ziryab en est le sanctuaire secret. Merci pour cette parenthèse inoubliable et enchantée. À bientôt! Famille Bennani.

L'endroit était propre, confortable, magnifique, calme avec un emplacement idéal qui facilite l'accès aux attractions locales. Un petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux Le personnel était très agréable et serviable. Une piscine magnifique et entretenue. Dans l'ensemble, nous recommandons cet endroit et y retournerions avec plaisir Cependant, il serait appréciable d'ajouter quelques éléments pour améliorer l'expérience : un frigo dans la chambre, une bouteille d'eau fraîche à notre arrivée, ainsi qu'une cafetière avec du café pour le premier jour. Ces petites intentions seraient un plus et confortable.

- fatiha (10/5): I'll be back - The Riad is fantastic, the architecture, the arts and crafts are amazing. You feel like you're in the old medina of Fez just feet away from one of the nicest boulevards in the city centre. Asmae, Chaimae and Mounia are 3 of the nicest most helpful people I have ever encountered in a hôtel. You can not feel more welcome, they make sure you are comfortable and satisfied. Anyrhing you ask for, they WILL help you with. The breakfast is amazing. Delicious Moroccan food, fresh fruits and salades, hot Moroccan mint tea, etc etc. Access to the (very clean) swimming pool is unlimited, free to take a dive on a hot summer night (most hotels have a time schedule for the swimming pool). The room was ultra clean, smelled fresh, they're were more than enough towels and it was cleaned daily. If you want the medieval Fez vibe in a classy artistic setting, surrounded by Moroccan zelij tiles right in the middle of the city centre, this is THE place to stay in. Nothing! Everything was just fantastic!

A colazione la ragazza ha rovesciato il caffè addosso alla mia amica il primo giorno e la spremuta il secondo! Situazioni assurde. Personale inadeguato e poco professionale. Posto bello, ma in decadenza e decisamente sporco nelle aree comuni.
- laetitia (10/5): Plus qu’un Riad-une renaissance de l’esprit de Ziryab en terre fassis - Notre premier commentaire ne suffisait pas à exprimer toute la magie de Dar Ziryab. Ces deux jours supplémentaires ont confirmé l'extraordinaire : nous n'étions pas des clients, mais des hôtes chéris d'une famille d’âmes. Asmaa, Chaimaa et Mounia ont transformé nos adieux en scène de douce mélancolie. Nous repartons avec cette certitude : Dar Ziryab est une "jawhara" (perle rare) qui ne se contente pas de perpétuer l'héritage andalou - elle le fait vivre dans l'instant. À Dar Ziryab, on comprend que les vraies adresses ne s'inscrivent pas sur une carte, mais dans la mémoire des sens et de l’âme. Nous ne vous disons pas "au revoir", mais "à très bientôt". Car on ne quitte pas Dar Ziryab – on y laisse une part de soi en gage de retour. Merci pour l’inoubliable.
- laetitia (10/5): Un séjour d’exception dans un riad à l’âme généreuse. - Notre séjour à Dar Ziryab a été bien plus qu’une simple escapade à Fès : ce fut une expérience humaine et culturelle inoubliable. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur et une bienveillance rares par le directeur du Riad, Hadj Jalil. Asmaa et Chaimaa, d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, ont su rendre notre séjour parfait, toujours attentives et souriantes. Leur service discret et attentionné a fait toute la différence. Quant à Hadj Jalil, l'âme profonde de ce lieu, c’est un homme d’une grande culture, passionné d’histoire, de philosophie et de sciences. Loin de l’approche commerciale classique, il privilégie les échanges enrichissants, faisant de chaque conversation un moment de partage intellectuel. C’est la première fois que nous rencontrons un hôte aussi passionné et authentique, qui considère ses invités comme des amis plutôt que comme des clients. Le riad lui-même est un havre de paix, alliant tradition marocaine et confort moderne. Les chambres sont spacieuses et élégantes, mais ce qui rend Dar Ziryab unique, c’est son ambiance familiale. Ici, on ne se sent pas dans un hôtel, mais chez des proches. Les petits déjeuners sont un régal : copieux, variés et préparés avec des produits locaux, offrant chaque jour de nouvelles spécialités à découvrir. Un vrai voyage culinaire ! Et cette piscine intérieure, véritable oasis après l'agitation des souks ! Notre chambre avec sa vue sur la piscine nous a fait nous sentir comme dans un palais secret. Notre semaine à Dar Ziryab a tellement dépassé nos attentes que nous avons immédiatement décidé d'y prolonger notre séjour de 2 jours supplémentaires - la plus belle preuve de notre enchantement ! La cerise sur le gâteau ? Lorsque nous avons annoncé vouloir rester plus longtemps, toute l'équipe s'est réjouie comme si nous étions de la famille - pas un simple calcul commercial. Dar Ziryab n'est pas une adresse, c'est une expérience qui transforme.

- christelle (1/5): - Les salariées Le propriétaire a contesté la répartition des chambres réservées sur booking. Booking est accusé de proposer l'appartement pour 5 personnes, selon lui il est destiné a 4 personnes. Un lit supplémentaire est demandé en facturation complémentaire. Il a par ailleurs contesté que l'on ait réservé 1 chambre de 3 personnes dans une chambre de 2 alors qu'il en dispose au riad mais elles étaient déjà occupées. Petite précision la réservation effectuée pour 10 personnes incluait une chambre de 5 une autre de 2 et une autre de 3. Le tarif pour 3 est supérieur au tarif pour 2. Au final le propriétaire nous a obligé à payer en espèces 4050 dirham soit 405 €. Nous contestons ce paiement déjà effectué et demandons un recours à Booking (demande déjà envoyée). De plus alors que le riad indique la réception ouverte 24h/24. Le propriétaire nous demande de régler le taxi pour avoir fait venir du personnel pour nous ouvrir le riad.

- Manfred Maindok (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft. Klare Empfehlung! - Der Chef des Hauses und die Seele der Rezeption waren sehr entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Eine klare Empfehlung. Meine Tochter und ich werden wieder kommen. Der WLAN Empfang in Zimmer 104 hat teilweise gar nicht funktioniert.
- Anne (10/5): Exquisitely decorated riad in the modern part of Fes - An exquisitely designed and decorated traditional riad, full of luxurious details - from the inlaid mirror in the bathroom and metal sink, to the top-quality cotton sheets - and the pool was a godsend in the heat, as was the garden with the various sitting areas which was perfect for the delicious breakfast. The location is ok - in the modern part of Fes within walking distance of the royal palace, but is surrounded by high-rise flats- such a shame!
