Never had to wait for a shower 5pm check in is the latest I have ever experienced - paired with a 10am check out. 7 hours for cleaning? Crazy. Air conditioning sometimes was ok and sometimes every room was at 26 degrees. No control or consistency Awful pillow - not sure what it was made from? Felt like hard plastic Other guests had no respect to try be quiet after 11pm. Not the hotel fault but maybe signs reminding people might help

Le prix imbattable et ́expérience d’un capsule hotel absent en europe Les oreillers sont très durs La lumière du couloir mériterait d’être baissée après une certaine heure. La ventilation bien que presente est insuffisante. Les casiers ne permettent pas de stocker tout type de valises nos valises a 160 cm max étaient trop larges.
- 筠 (7/5): - 地理位置優越，距離阪急京都河原町站和鴨川都很近。 浴室有獨立浴缸間能泡澡！ 洗漱空間明亮且貼心的提供許多備品還有捲髮器可以用。 女性房有獨立的公共交誼廳，裡面有24hr提供的飲料機可以飲用。 女性房26床卻只有3個淋浴間和1個浴缸間。 洗衣機和烘乾機是一體的，但只有1台。 個人置物櫃偏小，基本上只能放下一個一般行李箱（行李有擴充或胖胖箱放不進去），放不進去的行李只能放櫃檯外的公共空間。 置物櫃區空間不大，想要攤開行李箱整理，可能會擋到他人。 公共交誼廳位置不多，能容納人有限。 膠囊內稍嫌悶熱，且雖然每個膠囊配有拉簾，但對於聲音的隔絕效果有限，我剛好有遇到早上6.鬧鐘一直響卻不按掉，導致我直接被吵醒！

- John (8/5): Amazing podhotel in Kyoto - Podhotel, perfectly located close to the subway and close to Gion. Perfect for reach temples and also for evening. The hotel is very clean. And very friendly staff

- Stromberger (9/5): - Das Personal war sehr höflich sehr hilfsbereit unheimlich nett und der Preis war sehr günstig. Es war sauber der einzige Grund warum ich bei Sauberkeit nicht perfekt angegeben habe ist das nicht alle Gäste dort unbedingt super sauber mit den Toiletten umgehen (leider gibt es die aber in anderen Hotels auch immer wieder) und es nicht wie typisch diese Desfinfektionsdinger auf den Toiletten gibt. Aber ansonsten das beste Kapselhotel bis jetzt und schön eingerichtet viel Platz in den Lockers also wirklich alles Top, und die Lage in Kyoto ist genial, werde fix wieder kommen.

Uso y recomiendo Que una vez que haces check out ya no te tratan tan amablemente. - Hanie Wong (10/5): Recommend - Amazing stay. Right in the city center, close to a lively food area, and next to a beautiful river—perfect for relaxing and taking photos in the morning. The staff are professional and very helpful. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well organized. No shoes allowed in the sleeping area, which I really like because it keeps everything fresh. The capsule is very comfortable and well equipped. I especially like the adjustable light—soft and not too bright when you wake up. The fan adjusts automatically, so everyone stays comfortable. The pantry has hot/cold water, and coffee/tea are okay. All basic items are provided: toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, earplugs, even earphones. Towels and slippers are replaced daily. Soap, shampoo, face wash, and lotion are available in the shared bathroom. I would definitely come back if I visit Kyoto again. They also charge an extra Kyoto accommodation tax at check-in.

- 8slowtravels (8/5): Great for short stay around the Pontocho/ Kyoto Downtown area. Recommended for solo travelers! - This is value for money, at the center of downtown Kyoto/ Pontocho area. Good place to stay for solo travelers. Stayed at the all female capsule rooms at the ground floor. The common bathroom has a washing machine and there's also a small lounge area for eating. there's a tea and coffee machine for free for guests staying at the hostel. Location is so good. Check in time is a bit late at 5PM. Wish it was earlier but you can leave your luggage with the reception staff so you can explore the area before check-in.

- Daniel (8/5): Mostly good stay at modern pod hostel in Kawaramachi - Mostly good stay at modern capsule hostel at a great location in Kawaramachi. Mattress was comfortable. Place was very clean and towels were replaced every day. Good shower pressure and large lockers. The entire time I was there the floor I was on was only ever a quarter full so it was very quiet, which I liked. Hostels in Japan often use buckwheat hull pillows which are rock hard and feel like your head is on a sack of grain. Despite their replies to previous reviews on here saying they would provide them, they still do not offer any alternatives to these horrible pillows. So I had to go out and buy myself one from the department store across the road. They really need to have some alternative pillows such as memory foam as I’m quite sure there are lots of people like me who hate the buckwheat ones. Also, there was a huge bathtub in the bathroom, but the water never got hot enough to use it in there. Even though the shower water was perfectly hot. I needed to check in early as their check-in time is 1700 which I believe is far too late. So they charged me ¥2000 to check-in at 1500. I think that is very unfair considering my floor was virtually empty. Just a way to rip people off. The locker I used made my clothes smell a bit musty. More cleaning required.

- Desirée (6/5): Horrible experience - The most uncomfortable experience I've ever had in many years traveling. They don't allow you to stay with your luggage in the room, so, if it doesn't fit the locker (narrow) you must leave your luggage at the reception!!! A receptionist went to my room and grabbed my suitcase to leave downstairs, to my surprise, before I knew about this rule. So they will touch and move your stuff, without asking. I had to leave my suitcase on my bed all days so I could reach my stuff. Horrible experience. And they didn't speak English at all, so it was a really difficult situation. Very modern and lots of silly rules that make all your stay very bad. A big room that was all days empty, like 30 beds and 6 people, and still you can only CHECK IN AFTER 5PM!!!!! And no toilets available for guests arriving earlier. "There's a mall on the corner" was the woman's answer. And my bed was the last one, near an open area of employees, only separated by a curtain, so it was very noisy, I could hear them taking, making noises, even late night. Would definitely not recommend.

Gostei muito mesmo! A sala de descanso, com bebidas gratuitas, livros/revistas e música clássica era muito aconchegante. Apesar de não terem café da manhã, não faltam opções próximo. É extremamente perto de tudo e de transporte. Sem queixas.

Mention spéciale pour la baignoire qui est très spacieuse comparée aux douches. Les douches sont très petites, j’ai eu des difficultés pour me changer. Les casiers sont également trop petits et vite remplis, le bazar est vite arrivé.
