- Verified traveler (6/5): - We recently stayed at the Soho A17. Check in and out was easy, although Wellington only came after giving them a call and not at the designated time. Propr. were always quick to respond. At first glance the apartment is nicely furnished with pretty goods view. At a second glance it was not so good. The worst thing about the apartment is the NOISE, from the outside and the inside. We sat outside twice in 9 days! The traffic is horrific. We were not expecting it to be quiet but nor were we expecting it be this bad. In addition to that is the noise from neighbours, and they were not having parties. You could hear the conversations and the TVThe sliding door to the bathroom was broken and wouldn’t stay shut. We contacted Propr. and they were quick to respond. They sent someone around the next day to fix the door, but unfortunately it kept sliding open. We had to put a weight in front of it to keep it shut. The dryer was not working and it sounded like the washing machine was also broken. One blind in the bedroom was broken and had just been stapled up. The clothes stand was also bent and couldn’t be opened properly. It was always difficult to lock and unlock the the front door as the lock is broken. We were told this while checking in. What I don’t understand is if the problem is known, why not resolve it? We wanted to use the fan in the bedroom but couldn‘t because there were no batteries in the remote.The apartment was not very clean. We cannot recommend this apartment.
