• Michelle (8/5): Nice place, with friendly staff & easily accessible. Definitely worth the cost. - Location was good, a few metres off the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway. If you put the name on Google Maps it will lead you right to the property. The staff were very kind, accommodating and helpful, specifically Lucy & Geoffrey. I would recommend this for all sort of travellers, definitely worth the price.

• Eñaut (10/5): Great place - The owners were super friendly and they waited for us to arrive. The place is beautiful and extremely close to the park gate.

Ich hatte bezahlt, aber der Besitzer hatte ein Problem mit dem Herauslösen des Geldes bei Booking. Er liess uns nicht abreisen, bis ich den Betrag nochmals bezahlt hatte. Ich fand, es sei nicht mein Problem. Mühsam musste ich mich danach um die Rückforderung des Geldes bemühen. Was schlussendlich gelang.

• Mohamed (9/5): Simple and Serene place close to the lake - This place is simplicity at it's best. The staff, Lucy and Janet, were both helpful in every way possible. Sometimes even going out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The meals were delicious and the compound very clean. The place was very quiet and so serene that you feel part of the environment. Amazing for a one-two day getaway. Given how close it is to the lake, the experience of staying here will only get better if they trim the bushes and trees to have a better view of the lake.
• Felista (10/5): Exceptional - We had a very nice stay at Cactus Eco Camp. It’s very close to the KWS gate entrance to the lake. The host was very very nice, good food, great scenery, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. 10/10 recommended.
• Audrey (10/5): Exceptional - The place is very homely and peaceful with a relaxing garden surrounded by vervet monkeys and the chirping of several birds. It is also a stone's throw from Lake Elementeita. The best part is that the owner is very friendly and she goes out of her way to provide an excellent service. Her traditional homemade cooking is very tasty. She also helped us to manage the next stage of our trip. This is certainly an accommodation to remember and book again.

• Carney (9/5): 100% Recommend - The staff, Lucy and Dan were so attentive. The food was delicious and they catered to a vegan and vegetarian no problem! The location was amazing, so peaceful and less than 5 minute walk to the park at lake Elementatia. I'd happily go to Cactus eco camp to relax and skip the park altogether! It doesn't have WiFi which is a positive if you want to switch off, but some people may not like it if, like us, their provider is Telecom instead of Safari.com so when we don't have WiFi we rarely have service. Otherwise, facilities were perfect!
