Book direct through the company, Booking.com is so much more $$ Had to constantly ask for amenities to be replaced, drinking water, toilet paper, towels, etc, room was not serviced for the whole 6 nights we stayed, no cutlery or crockery provided Hot shower not always available Property is in much need of some general maintenance eg deck and stairs need oiling etc

The pool was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing, while the beach was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views—especially during sunset. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and spending evenings by the pool created such a peaceful and memorable experience. The hotel truly offers the perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and beautiful getaway. Can’t wait to visit again!

- Estelle (1/5): Décevant - The staff were very friendly, but the building is poorly maintained and in need of renovation. Unfortunately, the accommodations did not match the price paid. The main problems encountered were: poorly maintained premises (needing pest control treatment, mold in the shower, on the ceiling, and on the curtains); faulty equipment (the ventilation system and hairdryer were out of order, and the pool light was detached). There is no spa on the premises despite the hotel's name. Finally, breakfast is not offered. Again, at this price, one would expect something quite different!
- maeva (9/5): - Tres beau bungalow situé sur une plage tres peu fréquentée dans un ecrin de végetation . On peut s'y baigner aprés avoir passé la 1ere vague. Des transats en bois sont a disposition. Terrasse en bois en hauteur face a la mer. Petit dejeuner tres copieux servi sur la terrasse du bungalow. La piscine décrite sur le site n'est pas vraiment accessible au bungalow d'avant plage, car elle située devant les autres logements un peu en retrait, mais ca ne nous a pas manqué car nous avons apprécîé nos bains de mer. Hotel situé a Dodanduwa, à 12 min de transport organisé par l'hotel pr rejoindre leur restaurant sur Hikkadua le Beer garden. Il faut bien avouer qu'une posés ds cet écrin , on n'a plus trop envie de sortir... A noter que les vitres qui constituent la petite véranda devant la chambre à l'étage ne s'ouvrent plus. Odeur assez forte de boules antimites à l'arrivée. On les a sorties et apres aeration , c 'etait ok.

- Sarah (8/5): - I grund och botten är detta ett jättefint boende med fint läge på stranden - men det känns som att det har försummats rejält de senaste åren och skulle behöva en upprustning. Rummet var stort och badrummet ännu större. Poolen utanför var jättefin (men också väldigt smutsig). Resten av familjen ville egentligen byta boende när vi hade checkat in då poolen var i rejält behov av en rengöring och mycket kändes rätt nergånget. Det är dock som sagt i grunden en pärla med kanonläge på stranden - om någon bara skulle kunna göra lite mindre uppgraderingar (och städa poolen). Det kändes rätt övergivet också, trots att vi var där precis efter nyår. SPA-delen av namnet förstod vi inte vad det tillförde - vi såg inte skymten av något SPA-relaterat. Det finns heller ingen restaurang på stället men man kunde visst beställa mat via dem ändå - det var lite oklart faktiskt.

It was a perfect mix of international and Sri Lankan dishes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place is extremely quiet and calm, ideal for relaxing, reading, and unwinding. The long swimming pool was a real highlight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and comfort.

- Moritz (1/5): - Kommunikation war gut, obwohl wir wieder direkt gegangen sind wurden wir freundlich behandelt und ein Taxi gerufen. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) hatten das Beach House gebucht und lediglich das wird bewertet. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir etwas teilnahmslos empfangen. Auf die Frage, ob es z.b. Massagen gibt (weil ja Spa im Namen steht) wurde mit nein geantwortet. Die Anlage insgesamt wirkte etwas lieblos und das Beach House von außen noch ganz okay. Der Strand ist sehr schön aber das eigentlich Problem war innen. Im Obergeschoss gibt es ein kleines Bett für maximal 2 kleine Menschen. Im großen Untergeschoss gibt es ein sehr großes Sofa aus Einzelelementen und mit Kunstleder. Das Sofa hatte noch Kissen aus Kunstleder. Es war nicht wirklich einladend. Darauf zu schlafen (laut Anzeige ein Schlafsofa) erschien nicht sehr einladend. Dann fragten wir nach Bettzeug für das Sofa, das schnell gebracht wurde. Dieses bestand aus einem bezogenen Kissen und einem Laken, das der Mitarbeiter auf das Sofa gelegt hat und einer nicht bezogenen Decke. Da das Laken lediglich für eine Person Platz geboten hätte, wollte ich es ausbreiten und irgendwie ins Sofa klemmen und musste feststellen, dass Teile, des in die Jahre gekommenen Sofas mittels Klebeband fixiert wurden, vermutlich damit nicht alles auseinanderfällt. Im Schrank neben dem Sofa gab es noch zwei angeschimmelte Kissen. Der Schrank ließ sich kaum öffnen. Der Rest des Raums war veraltet, löchriges Holz, keinerlei Liebe zum Detail und einfach zum Davonlaufen. Und das haben wir dann auch getan. 150€ (50 % Stornogebühr) bezahlt und nichts wie weg. Für uns gefühlt eine totale Verarsche, dafür Geld zu verlangen. Vor allem, dass man es einer Familie mit 4 Personen anbietet. Und dafür auch noch soviel Geld verlangen. Per Whattsapp erhielten wir dann innerhalb 15min eine lange Nachricht mit einigen Disklaimern, z.b. dass alles wie auf den Bildern sei. Das mag schon sein, denn die Bilder zeigen nur die Perspektiven, die vorzeigbar sind.

Both issues were handled Therefore, our rating is 9 (boosting the overall score at this point) and not lower.

It was wonderful to have the pool outside our door and to relax and enjoy watching the birds in the palm trees, the sound and view of the beach and waves. The staff were helpful if needed but gave us plenty of privacy. A short tuktuk ride to Hikkaduwa, the turtles, great cafes, shopping etc. Or stay in and get room.service. Highly recommend a stay here.

- Dimitra (7/5): Not a good value - The beach cabana was beautiful with an impressive bedroom overlooking the ocean and a huge couch on the ground floor. Clean bathroom, coffee and tea for the first day, very quiet, nothing else on the beach. Kind manager but from a distance. Even though the manager was kind and tried to help, as he was not at the property, this was not possible. The employee that was there was from indifferent to rude. He was the only person that we met during our 3-week stay in Sri Lanka that never smiled! On our arrival it was our driver that had to tell him to help with the luggage and he called another employee to help. He always turned his back indifferently when around. We felt really unwelcomed. When we went to use the pool, as there was no space to sit apart from 2 tables that were in front of 2 rooms, we took 2 round cushions that were around. While we were in the pool he came and took them back in, but when we asked him where we could sit he just mumbled something and turned his back. We contacted the manager and asked where we could have dinner. The hotel is quite isolated with nothing around and upon our arrival nobody informed us on such practicalities. The manager (again far away) said that they could prepare a nice dinner for us and suggested a fish as the best dish! The fish came uncooked, frozen in the center, the crabs uncracked and when we asked for a cracker the guy from the reception told us to break them with the hands! I gave him one leg to show him that it was impossible and he tried it, taking them back to the kitchen and bringing the dish back with the crab parts just separated but impossible again to consume. Thankfully the manager did not charge for the 2 dishes but again we remained hungry for the night as there was no other option around! We asked for a transfer to the neighbouring beach that was charged way more than a Tuk Tuk! For such a hotel the service was inexcusably low to non existent! Even though the manager was kind, a hotel cannot be based on one person only, especially when he is not there!

The sunsets here are picture-perfect and unforgettable. 🌅 The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. Their genuine smiles and warm hospitality made all the difference! 🙏 The hotel offers a delightful mix of fresh seafood, local Sri Lankan dishes, and international options. Every meal was a flavor-packed experience – the seafood curry was my personal favorite. 🦀 The hotel’s serene ambiance, luxurious amenities, and exceptional service make it the ideal getaway for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty. - Sharanya (9/5): the stay was just fantastic - the food here was exceptional , especially the Sri lankan breakfast and the fresh tropical juices , apart from this the team was really really responsive . hem and the team was just so fantastic at taking care of us. we were able to completely enjoy our stay and rewind and relax. hem was was very very nice to us in fact I fell sick and he helped us with getting essential medicines even late in the night and the team was also always on their toes with whatever we needed. overall the experience was amazing and we enjoyed the say. the bedrooms were phenomenally large , clean and very well maintained
- Vita (7/5): Not recommended - Soft towels,big bed and powerful yet cold shower. No wifi in the room. I thought it was very overpriced. Basic breakfast, no cushions on the loungers. Your importance as a customer decreases day by day. Asking to clean the room the day before I left, I would expect everyday for the cost. I paid the price on booking.com, gave them more and wasn't offered any change. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend. Overall I've stayed in places alot cheaper that are better.
- Anton (10/5): Excellent Place for Family Vacation near Hikkaduwa - We were staying at beach bungalo, closest one to the ocean. So the atmosphere was really great: sound of waves, almost nobody on the beach. My wife and my daughter were very exited. Bungalo is really huge, and its very cool that bad is located on upper floor with great view on the ocean and beach. Very cozy and comfortable. In the evenings it was always rainy weather and we loved to watch heavy rain from the balcony in bedroom. Great dinners and breakfast for fairy price, everything was fresh and really tasty. I bet you cant it it all! Also its very easy to get to Hikkaduwa and others places, everything in 10 min on tuk tuk, but there is markets and small shops in village in 10 min walking, even wine store))) Especially thanks to Hem, hotel manager, he was always in touch, kind and tried to help with every question. Hotel staff was kind and polite, tried their best. Some water was dripping from the one of AC right on floor, but Hem managed everything and gies fixed this technical issue quickly.

The pool was also nice, with some amazing views of the beach through the coconuts. Also very nice and friendly stuff. Don't have anything to complain about. Everything was nice.

His ability to communicate in multiple languages made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. The swimming pool overlooking the sea was a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. The food was another standout — delicious and served directly to the room, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. The villa is set in a calm, green environment that is ideal for families or anyone looking to relax. Unlike many beachside locations, it was pleasantly quiet and perfect for recharging. I highly recommend this place for its peaceful atmosphere, excellent service, and picturesque setting. Looking forward to coming back! The property is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a serene and tranquil environment. The beach feels almost private, adding to the sense of exclusivity. Adjacent to our villa lies a forest reserve, ensuring perfect peace and quiet. It truly felt like an escape, where we could fully relax and unwind.

With the beach feeling nearly private, it offers a unique sense of seclusion. Adjacent to the villa is a serene forest reserve, ensuring a calm and undisturbed atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Additionally, guests can enjoy a special treat as the staff are happy to prepare freshly caught fish and prawns, purchased on request, for an authentic culinary experience.

Arranged the lunch at garden and dinner on the beach with action cooking. Amazing place for couples and family very calm and sound of the ocean will rise up your life.
- Anandbajpai (2/5): Pathetic - Thankfully one out of 2 rooms was habitable, atleast my parents could sleep properly We had a horrible time, from the net not working card machine not working , coffee machine not working, washroom raps not working...almost everything want working. Room was beyond pathetic. They just kept a bed and a cupboard. Nothing else. Do not go with their fake advertisement of seaside view. Cz we dint get any. All we got was a bed to sleep thankfully
