She was even mindful of our safety and offered her own bear spray and umbrella for the trip duration. Quick 5mins drive to airport so definitely recommend in case of late night arrivals.

- coyne (10/5): - Lovely mid century home in quiet neighborhood. A couple rooms have large private decks as well as a large one in the back yard. The king bed was amazing. Conveniently near airport so did hear a couple small aircraft. Breakfast buffet with hot items as well as fruit and yogurt. Extremely accommodating host couple. She even lent us bear spray the day we left to drop off on our way to the airport when going home several days later. Several nearby restaurants including the famous Gwennies. I would definitely stay again.
- Dawn (10/5): Better than the pictures! - This was a perfect place to stay for our four-person family upon arriving in Alaska! We had adjoining rooms (shared bathroom in-between), which was nice, and the beds were very comfortable. Check-in was super smooth, even though we got in late (an envelope was just kindly left for us). Breakfast was positively delicious! Extra pluses: water pressure was great and there were plenty of towels :-)

Close enough to downtown- we were using Uber services and they were always just a few minutes away. We met some nice people at breakfast each morning. I would stay again if I ever find myself back in Anchorage.

There wasn’t any A/C but the weather was comfortable when we were there so we didn’t have any problems. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! Great spread and tasty. We loved the personal touch, in terms of the host coming to receive us and helped us check in (although we reached a little later during the night), gave us local recommendations. If we ever are in the area again, we will definitely stay at this place again! Highly recommend it.

- Rachel (10/5): - Unbelievably nice bed and breakfast. A lovely couple live in the house and rent out a few rooms. I personally loved the decor which is vintage style / Italian / Roman. Not new and modern so if you don't like an older more ornate decor, this may not be the place for you. We had the junior suite which had a king bed that was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. I totally forgot to ask the owner Kathryn which mattresses they buy because I seriously have to get that from my house! The room was absolutely huge and the amount of storage space was incredible. There was an armoire with a full-length mirror, A dresser with tons of drawers, and another little unit with drawers and shelves. Also a two-seater couch and a desk and chair to work at. The bathroom also was very large had a wonderful bath and everything was extremely clean. The bathroom has a door that leads you outside to a lovely little seating area. Breakfast was at the dining room table which is always set and looks gorgeous. Kathryn had scrambled eggs, potatoes, and either bacon or sausage. Variety of breads that you can toast. Lots of different cereals and nuts and yogurt. Right outside the house they have room for parking for many cars and there's a beautiful fountain with a bench so you can sit and enjoy it. Highly highly recommend this b&b! Important note - Kathryn has bear spray that you can give you so before you buy or rent - reach out to her and ask if she has a can to give you.
- Maureen (10/5): Cozy like home - Wonderful cozy place. I arrived late at night and it was easy to get to my room. Breakfast was great and the owners were so friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and I would have loved to stay longer!

She communicated with me before I arrived with easy checkin instructions. When I arrived I had a nice clean room upstairs with my own bathroom and private deck. In the morning she had coffee ready to go at 6am and breakfast ready to eat by 7am. I had to check out early and she whipped up a tasty meal for me before I headed out the door. It was like staying at my grandma's house how she took care of my me. I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in tbe area. I'd definitely stay here again.

The place is so cute and very clean. The bed was so comfy. I had notified Kathryn that we would need an early checkout since we had to be at the airport by 5:30am the nect morning and she so kindly left a to go breakfast for us in our room’s mini fridge. Everything was so accomadating and the overall experience was just great.
