• Mary (5/5): - Easy to find. Our room appeared clean and was spacious. It suited us for the minimal time we needed to be in the room. Definitely had some creepy vibes. The only time we saw any hotel staff was at our initial check in.
• Kathie (1/5): Don’t do it. Go down the road to the one on the corner. - First room was dirty and the second had no water after 9 pm. Thankfully this was just a dry roof over our heads but never again. There is accommodations just down the road at a better location and newer and I am guessing around the same price point. The price, no water, listening to people run up and down the stairs at all hours.
• Joakim (6/5): Hotel is ok. - Room is clean, Bed is very good with extra blanket, good wifi and easy access to highway and friendly staff. Hallway smells cigarette smoke, exit signs are not well maintained, limited soap and coffee is not good at all.Breakfast not even included compare to other hotels with lower pricing.
• Gina (2/5): - Old building, uninviting layout. One bed was beside a big old fridge that is noisy, you have to unplug so you can sleep. The fridge itself is so old, there were no shelvings. The coffee machine was dirty and had sediments. The sugar and creamer looks like they’ve been in someone’s pocket. Nothing in the room wants you to stay in, lounge or even sit for coffee or a meal. The towels were also old and musty.
• Philip (4/5): - Cons: Stayed for 4 nights (Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fri), a) housekeeping only came in on Thurs afternoon -They took any bottles that could be taken in for a refund (though we had them stacked separately with our gear. - emptied the garbage, but did not wipe down any couners = replaced only 1 towel set (there were two of us in the room) - shower towels were very small -Did not replenish shampoos/soaps nor coffee supplies. -They did not make the beds. -Sheets and pillow cases were clean, but stained -Air conditioner did not work well -Not Handicap friendly (and hallway lights did not work/or were turned off) -Cafe only served deep fried foods (no salads or soups) -Cafe closed at 9:00 pm (or earlier if they decided to) -Service in the cafe was super slow - no other customers and it took 20 minutes to get my drink, it came with my food (not very good food) b) No security or reception person c) parking with a trailer is a problem Not worth the $523 for the 4 night stay. On the plus side, - we had a full sized fridge - our room had a balcony

• D (1/5): Horrible Place! - Nothing, all bad! Dirty, not clean. I found dirty underwear in the room. Everything was unplugged fridge internet TV's nothing worked TV remote gone.. Do not go here it is a dump!!!!!!!

• Trudy (8/5): - The building is quite old but our 2 room suite had updated flooring, beds, and a full size fridge. Most everything was clean except for the windows, air conditioner, & heater vents. Staff was helpful & friendly. Had a great sleep but it is located next to the railway tracks (none must have went through that night). For the price, it was a great stay. There is an in building restaurant, convenience store & liquor store.

• Lois (9/5): Fantastic big room with good facilities. - Huge room with full size fridge and a lounge. Loved it! The man on reception was also lovely and helped me get all my stuff upstairs. Nothing, it was great.
• Steve (7/5): Can't expect 5-star accommodations here, but it's a good place to stay. - The owners are trying hard to upgrade this old hotel. The place is clean, mattresses look new, we had a quiet 2-nights stay during the weekend. It looks like the hotel is busier during the week with work crews. No maid service while we were there, would have been out of luck if we'd wanted to shower both days or drink more than 2 pots of coffee. No dishes or silverware in the suite.
• Sandra (2/5): Disappointed !!!! - Room that was booked was not available and changed to a multi bedroom apartment. Musty , cigarettes, last meal cooked smell and filthy. Lock on door did not look like it would hold. Decided not to stay and drove to Grand Prairie and found another Hotel.

• Tony (1/5): I will never even enter this TOWN again. - No breakfast. Mattress was comfortable. Full size fridge. Almost everything was sh**. Older staff member seemed unaware I had a reservation, got locked out of computer, complained about the new technology, "Why did they do this to me?" Bad wifi, unusable TV in the second room for some reason. When looking for a way to plug it in I found no plug in, but a dirty sock behind the dresser. 3rd worst hotel or motel I've EVER stayed at, and I've stayed in over 30 in last 2 years. Bugs, wrecked curtains, dirty shower, Spotty telephone signal. Unusable internet. Only got one show on Amazon firestick. TV shuts off on its own. So bad I actually worried about bedbugs and/or ghosts. My work mate slept on top of his blankets because he worried about bedbugs. No staff in morning. Like an abandoned ghost hotel. I probably picked worst place to stay in 100 miles. I bet this place hasn't been in good shape for 30 years. Overpriced. I paid $105+tax. Honestly worth maybe $50.
• Raymond (4/5): Avoid if possible - The people were great but the place is worn out and run down. The surface was pealing from the tub. There was a hole in the sink and only the hot water worked at the sink. Seemed fairly clean but hard to tell when everything is brown and worn.
• Claudette (4/5): - Some things were upgraded in the room, no hair blower so couldn't shower and do my hair, couldn't get t.v. to work, internet wasn't strong enough to work, dirty big cushion on furniture was hard to look at, no comforter on bed just a sleeping bag but pleasant staff when booked in. Smell of grease fried when walked in hotel, not pleasant.
• Gary (4/5): - I paid $98.00 for the night for myself only. I was charged $136.00 when I first received the debit machine and had to explain that Expedia said it was $98.00 I showed her the app with the price. This Hotel is not worth more then $65.00 a night as 2 of my workers stayed in another hotel in Spirit River that was just as nice or bad depending how you look at it. $65.00 bucks a night. I will not stay here again.

• Sean (4/5): Showing Its Age - The hotel has been lived in and is run down. We had popcorn ceiling sloughing in the room. Couch and bed were very dated. WiFi pretty much didn't work so don't plan to use it for anything serious, like work.

• Ian (6/5): Par for the area. - The hotel is under new ownership. It lacks curb appeal from the outside to the inside, but you can tell they are trying. The beds were good, and clean linens, which was most important to me as I don’t like the idea of bugs. Full size fridge was nice.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - I will be honest, I was not looking forward to an overnight stay in Rycroft. There are only a few older hotels in the area and the only hotel that had a room available in short notice was The Rycroft Hotel. Upon entering our room we were grateful that I had booked here. Our room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Check in was easy and super friendly.
• Lenard (8/5): Great comfy room. - the rooms were lovely ,the bed was great and had a great sleep.
• Albert (4/5): - It was difficult to access staff. We didn't get the room we requested. The upgrade was disappointing. Friends who stayed in this same hotel were without both heat and hot water the first night.
• Brent (8/5): Decent rooms - Pleasantly surprised at how clean the Hotel was. It’s an old small town hotel, but the rooms were fine. Coffee Shop never seemed to be open, had to go to the truck stop for breakfast.
