• Kylie (2/5): Not what booked. - My partner enjoyed the bath and it was in the CBD. I booked for a sea view apartment and I had a view of construction. I asked to have a spa bath and it was not clean - my partner turned it on and fluff came out. The person we talked to said he sent me a msg, I still have not received it. The bed was small and uncomfortable. I am not sure we had the room booked. When I talked to the person about sea view, they disclosed could have a view of anywhere. The room has a description - Sea View. Very disappointed.

• Morgan (1/5): Really disappointing for the money spent - Location The balcony was covered in dirt and leaves, dust everywhere, level of cleanliness was less than you’d expect at a $100 a night motel, soap dispensers were empty, rubbish under the bed, mis matched pillows that were stained and old, blood stains on the mattress, shower was running cold the whole stay. Paid just over $1000 for two nights, would’ve been more comfortable in a cheap motel, was on the ground floor level with footpath , motel would’ve been the way to go.
• Tracy (5/5): Have had waaay better stays in Geelong, not returning here. - The Lady that arrived was cheerful The manager phone call could reuin a trip.thats for sure, very abrupt, invasive and pushy! The second bedroom had a completely unmade bed which was upsetting, the Balcony was a mess, unswept, dirt dust and bird shit everywhere along with on the outdoor table and chairs, smoke butts out there too. We ended up cleaning the place ourselves so we could relax. I will not be back and neither will my friend. Nor will I recommend staying here.

• Georgia (4/5): Wouldn’t stay here again - The location was good I by accident booked only 2 adults - I did however let the property manager know via their own questionnaire. When I called for the keys the guy made it a problem however then said because it was my daughter’s birthday that he would waive any extra fees so I guess that was nice. The whole building smelt absolutely disgusting. The apartment smelt horrific, I tried to book another apartment in the area but due to the holidays couldn’t find anything on such short notice. The apartment on the surface would appear clean but it wasn’t and everything was uncomfortable to the point our backs hurt ( the couches, the beds )

The door lock was almost falling off (not a major issue until someone gets stung with a bill) Shower screen wasn’t fixed properly The car park was a nightmare to get into ( that’s on me but for driving a big Ute) I was extremely disappointed once I walked in and it wasn’t what the photos made it to look like.

• Adam (4/5): Overall, a disappointing and overpriced stay that didn’t match the cost or expectations. - the location is good We had to chase up the host for details on how to access the property, which was frustrating after a long trip. The front door lock was dodgy and didn’t feel secure. The apartment wasn’t very clean, there weren’t enough towels, and several lights didn’t work. The Wi-Fi was basically useless, and the bedside lamp was unsafe. Overall, the place felt very tired and worn out — definitely in need of maintenance and a good clean. We were charged top dollar ($400 for one night) due to a basketball tournament in town, which made it feel like a real rip-off given the poor condition of the property.

No dining table to work at, it was nothing at all like pics. Way over priced for what it was

On the street, not bay view as booked Broken bathroom cabinet. Very Large piece of marble broken off the corner. Lots of spiders. Offers of spraying them. Unclean Worn Air-conditioner didn’t work without standing on chair so no heating in mid winter. No remote. No Wi-Fi. wasn’t working at all No spa or pool as advertised. Noisy Broken things. Excuse was that the Manager was away Moved to a completely different location after first night. Really inconvenient with disability. See through curtains onto street. not opaque Signal is not working for most TV Station. Atrocious Shower.Taps went from very hot to very cold all through. Cold Tap running. Didn’t turn off properly. We would definitely not recommend that anyone stay in this place. You are definitely not getting what was advertised or what you paid for. It was a disgrace. Photos show ad and reality

There were light bulbs that weren't working, heat lamps in bathroom not working, one side of the electric blanket was broken and WiFi didn't work. The owner came and fixed most of these but meant he was in the room for quite some time. Also we had to call him on arrival as we hadn't received instructions on how to access the key.
• Pru (1/5): False advertising only 1.5 stars not 4 we left after 1 night of a 4 night booking - Nothing 1.No check in details sent, so I had to chase them up 2. the room smelt like stale cigarettes,3 Dust everywhere 4. it was dirty 5. no internet then on the booking it said free wifi 6. bedside light no globe 7. the living room shutters didn't fit the door so wouldn't close properly 8. the kettle had stale water in it 9. no instructions to find the "wellness centre" in the complex that was supposed to be available as there wasn't one. this was advertised as a 4 star accomodation and at best it was only 1.5 stars.

No staff to assist getting access to property which wasn’t straight forward. No high speed internet like the booking website told me. My balcony was on walking height so everyone on the street was looking right at me.
• Jason (8/5): A very good apartment. Clean, easy to access, great communication and well priced. - Very good location. Very good if you're a tourist, looking to be near the water and activities. The apartment is located right alongside Yarra Street and Eastern Beach Road. While convenient, these are quite busy streets. The noise may be an issue for families travelling with children.

• Chris (6/5): Average but acceptable - No wireless had to use my own, dirty dishes and coffee mugs clearly not cleaned as you need to clean before leaving but obvious previous guests did bare minimum. Think we left the unit cleaner than when we arrived.. Furniture could be upgraded cheaply as recliners do not work and dirty. Someone should either put fly screens on as well as clean sink drains as many fruit flies. Unit contact was nice and helpful were possible before stay but could not assist with the no wireless and used a lot of personal mobile data. The location was good decent size but strange layout but does not impact given size. Beds were comfortable but rooms get warm even at 13 degrees outside.

• Ebony (5/5): Very average - Location Booking process and communication with property owner. Sent enquiries via both booking.com message and private email regarding an early check in that were both ignored. Finally got through via phone which took a 15 minute phone call to sort, to still not be sent check in details by the time that was promised even after paying an extra fee. A $250 bond was taken from my account 3 times (from the owner not booking.com), 2 of those amounts were refunded the day after but I am still waiting for the final $250 back 5 days post check out. Blinds were broken, toliet rocky with no roll holder and the place did not feel very clean.

• Graeme (6/5): Great location your apartment just was shabby and need to be fixed - the Geelong Revival was a wonderful event Your unit needs some work - Shower screen leaks water and floods the bathroom, second bedroom door is badly broken and needs to be replaced, the curtains in the main bedroom are falling down, all three-kitchen stool are broken and unsafe to sit on, front door lock falling off, A good coat of paint would help the overall appearance.

• Matt (4/5): Very disappointing first impression. - Location was great and convenient for our purposes. Ahead of our arrival I completed the pre-check in questionaire, confirmed our arrival time as well as availability of off-street parking. There were not instructions received on what to do when we arrived. Calling the contact number, I was given the impression that I hadn't completed the pre-check in questionnaire (I had), and I was made to wait 10 minutes for a return phone call. After 20 minutes I called the number and eventually was walked through the process to access keys, the building, the room and the car park. When we arrived in the room, the beds were unmade, no supplies (toilet paper) there was rubbish in the kitchen (empty bottles) and food crumbs across surfaces. I then left the room and called back and spoke to John, expressing our concerns about the state of the room. Fortunately, we had a work commitment for the next 3 hours that allowed them time to make the required arrangements to clean and reset the room. In regard to the comfort of the bedrooms. the use of plastic venetian blinds did nothing to block out the streetlights, street noise or early morning daylight. I would highly recommend block out curtains. Also, please pre-warn your guests of the restricted clearance and moveability in your underground carpark. Very disappointing first impression.

Living area didn’t have blackout blinds only day blinds and it allowed a lot of light come in early morning and at night

The owner read us the riot act and two phone calls later we finally were able to get into the apartment. What should have been simple became way too stressful.
