Air conditioning is a must in Kerala, and the unit kept the room cool. The policies for the services need to be set out. I had an issue with the laundry service. It was resolved, but could've been avoided with good communication.

This property has a large swimming pool. During December is not possible to swim in the Kollam beach because of dangerous currents. But you can use a private swimming pool of the property.

The receptionist tried to give an excuse afterwards « but it’s ok it’s less expensive [than the one you ordered] ». Quite funny
Sandra (4/5): Overall, while the staff were polite and accommodating, the poor maintenance and numerous issues wit - The staff was very friendly and helpful with the many facility/room issues that unfortunately we had to face. From housekeeping to bartenders and waiters, everyone was friendly and accommodating. A special mention to Kanan, our waiter, Fatima, the receptionist trainee, and Felix, the concierge, who demonstrated remarkable patience and professionalism throughout our stay. The à la carte meals were absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the variety offered. However, the breakfast selection was a bit lacking, particularly in terms of Western options. While we understand that we are in India, the hotel caters to a diverse international clientele, and we feel that a broader selection would better suit all guests. That said, we appreciated the option to request freshly made omelets and scrambled eggs. Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Maintenance Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was far from what we expected, particularly in terms of maintenance and room condition. Upon checking into our room, we were immediately faced with several issues, including a musty smell, unclean bed linens, a broken showerhead, and even a cockroach. Since we checked in late, we were informed that we couldn’t change rooms until the following morning. The next day, we were relieved to be offered an upgrade, but that relief quickly faded once we moved to the new room and discovered more problems. Key items like the kettle and hairdryer were missing, though these were promptly provided after our request. However, it became frustrating to constantly call for missing items that should have been in the room to begin with. One of the biggest concerns was the constant running water in the toilet, which added to the overall inconvenience. But perhaps the most troubling issue was the balcony—while our room had one, we were unable to lock the balcony door because the key was missing. This was completely unacceptable, especially since we had valuable items with us. After hours of searching, the staff could not find the key, and it was only after my husband suggested installing a simple latch that the issue was finally resolved. While the hotel did eventually comply, it was extremely frustrating to have to spend so much time dealing with such a basic security issue.

Kate (9/5): Nice quiet place to recover from jet lag - Really clean room. Although this hotel has obviously been open for a while now, the staff work hard to keep the rooms very clean. AC is quiet and does the job. The rooftop bar is a nice place to watch flying foxes and Brahminy Kite just before sunset. Breakfast here is good and the food in the restaurant downstairs is much better value for foreigners than the Land’s End restaurant around the corner.

The staff, especially Felix and Deon, were incredibly helpful, offering great service and advice on nearby activities. There’s so much to do in the area, whether it’s exploring on foot or enjoying the hotel’s services. I had my first Ayurvedic massage here, and it was truly unforgettable. The therapist was highly skilled, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting—it’s one of the best massage you can have. The hotel also organizes taxis and ensures your luggage is kept safe, which adds to the overall sense of care and security. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the pool was a delightful bonus. Dinner at the hotel was another highlight; the beef curry was exceptional and highly recommended. Prices were also very reasonable. Don’t miss the rooftop view, which offers a stunning perspective of Kollam and its surroundings. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate—book it!

ELEVEN km away in a field not created for horses w: an abused horse and a baby not able to take riders. I didn’t like that I didn’t get the discounts for the services as I was told. Many inconsistencies.

Good staff working in the property except restaurant and cleanliness responsible for the pool area. Concept and amenities are good. Lack of attentiveness at the Roof Top restaurant. We had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to take the order and the 2nd day we went to the counter and ordered ourselves to avoid waiting and no one attending. A lot of amenities which was said is present on paper were already booked by someone else. We used pool totally for 1hr. Pool was booked for classes, Badmiton court was closed for us since it was booked by someone else. Felt misled that these facilities are available but they are double booked for others. So why have hotel guests ? Why tell them saying these are there but not accessible? The changing/washing room to go to pool had poor cleanliness, old milk packages, insects and unattended room.

I expected a good view from the room as the resort was near by the sea. But what we got was a compound wall view!! They had very less options for food and price was also on higher end.

Bathrooms could have been cleant better . Rooms was not serviced properly. They left the dirty cups and did not clean the bathrooms. The night staff was good to move us to another room which was better than the rooms we got allocated first. Breakfast was mediocre nothing worth mention .There was dosa and sambar but no chutneys to accompany . The rooms could have had face tissue paper which the staff said they did not have. There were no proper hooks and hangars to hang the towels in bathroom. The towels kept falling off on the floors from the existing hangars and we had to request replacement towels .
Leonie (5/5): Passable - Friendly staff The pictures promise more. Breakfast was very basic. Room was big but nothing special and therefore the name Suite is maybe to much. There is nothing to lay down at the pool. The gym was basic and some things were broken. The room was clean but the furniture very old
Rajeev (1/5): Bad - Location This was my second stay in this property during 2023. This vist my experience was horrible. The room and toilet was not cleaned properly. It was full of hair in the toilet, the pillow and bed sheet was full of stains. We have to wait almost 30mns to get our breakfast after the restaurant was open.
