• Rebecca (9/5): - Pool was good, nice bathroom with a good shower. Lovely breakfast. Private and comfortable. Comfy bed with clean sheets. Plenty of drinking water available. Fridge and hot water for hot drinks. Mozzie net didn't quite fit the bed. Quite a distance from the port so we had to use a horse (which I was trying to avoid), unfortunately the horse guy wasn't decent, he charged me more than was agreed at the time of booking and his poor horse was spooked and flighty the whole time. Not the hotels fault but it was booked by reception with an agreed price.

• Steven (5/5): Abgerockte und unsaubere Unterkunft - Traditioneller Bungalow mit eigenem Pool in ruhiger Lage. Unterkunft hat Ihre besten Zeiten schon lange hinter sich. Fotos entsprechen in keinster Weise dem derzeitigen Zustand, alles renovierungsbedürftig und abgewohnt und schmutzig. Frühstück einfach, Geschirr und Kaffeekanne auch schmutzig.
• Joëlle (1/5): Catastrophique - Rien. Même si le personnel est serviable, le logement reste vétuste, daté et pas franchement propre. Le frigo était dans un état de saleté répugnant, et la salle de bain n’en parlons même pas. Nous avions réservé pour plusieurs nuits mais nous sommes partis après deux nuits, après avoir constaté l’état de délabrement et de crasse dans lequel étaient préparés les petits déjeuners. J’ai eu peur d’un empoisonnement alimentaire et je n’ai pas osé me baigner dans la piscine à cause de la forte odeur de chlore. Bref, nous n’y retournerons pas.

• Aram (9/5): Très bien - Tout était bien, la chambre avec la piscine privée l’eau potable à volonté l’emplacement très proche de la mer. Un peu éloigné du port et du « centre » on en avait pour 20 min de marche à chaque fois qu’on voulait se rendre au resto (sinon faut prendre le vélo).
• Evelin (6/5): Preis-Leidtung stimmt hier leider nicht - Freundlicher Empfang mit Willkommensgetränk, allgemein sehr freundlicher Service, Privatsphäre Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, mit wenig Aufwand könnte man einiges restaurieren. Das würde das Gesamtbild der Unterkunft verbessern. Es könnte mehr Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt werden (Handtücher waren fleckig, wir denken aber dennoch, dass sie gewaschen waren - auch hier ein einfacher Austausch möglich; Wasserhähne verkalkt; Toilette außen - Taster Spülung vermutlich ewig nicht gereinigt).
• MANON (8/5): Logement parfait pour se détendre - La décoration est réussie et le logement est très agréable. La piscine est idéalement située. Nous avons également loué des vélos directement à l’hôtel et pu laver du linge facilement. C’est un endroit parfait pour se détendre, je recommande vivement. Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus varié.

Es müssten einige Dinge instand gesetzt werden (Dusche, Fließen im Bad) -Pool war nicht so einladend aufgrund der ganzen Pflanzen und Blätter -Frühstück war nicht gut

• Lisa (4/5): Preis-Leistung stimmt hier nicht. - Es war sauber und nahe zum Strand. Die Unterkunft ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und stimmt nicht mit den Bildern überein. Alles ist alt, teils rostig und sieht nicht sehr ansprechend aus.

Había muchísimos mosquitos y muchos de ellos aplastados en las paredes y en la mosquitera, que no se habían limpiado antes de entrar nosotros. Nos pareció un poco caro, ya que por ese precio nos hemos quedado en Lombok en hoteles con mejores instalaciones y más limpios.

Le prix n’est pas justifié au regard de l’état des villas. Je pensais arriver dans une villa cosy et chic et malheureusement la déception totale.
• Kirsten (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf als je rust zoekt op Gili Air - Het voelt alsof je even je eigen huis op Gili Air hebt. Door je eigen tuin met zwembad kun je even weg zijn van alles en iedereen en heerlijk genieten. Wij hebben fietsten gehuurd bij de accommodatie. Met 3 minuten fietsen sta je op het strand. Ook het tappunt met (gekoeld) water vonden wij een pluspunt.

• Said (8/5): BUEN ALOJAMIENTO - Destacó la gente que lleva el hotel , súper amable y me ayudaron en todo lo que necesite. El aire acondicionado y el wifi funcionan genial. Además hay una nevera en la habitación y un gran bidón de agua potable para beber que viene genial. Dejan albornoz y varios productos de baño útiles. La terraza está muy bien. Podrían mejorar la limpieza en algunas zonas de la habitación y sobre todo la piscina. El chorro de la ducha sale muy poco y algunos disparados por el baño.

• Tegan (8/5): A lovely stay with a private pool - This place is out of the way, at the top of the island, very chilled. The staff were very kind and made us a nice breakfast every day. Right next to the turtle point, we saw huge turtles every day, less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Water is probably very scarce on the island - the water in the pool and shower seemed like it had been sitting in tanks, maybe it's desalinated sea water. This might be the same on the whole island! But we extended our stay because we liked it so much.

Breakfast was great and there were decent options to choose from, served to your room at your preferred time. Our room was great. Loved the outdoor bathroom, the bed was super comfy. Rooms are somewhat basic in comparison to larger hotels however it had all the facilities we needed and we really enjoyed staying somewhere that felt more authentic instead of a larger chain hotel etc. The private pool was fantastic. It felt like a little private oasis on the island. Would not hesitate to return. Nothing we didn’t like.

Its a 20 minute walk from the harbour which was doable for us but try to avoid the hottest time of the day. The house has everything you need and was very clean. The pool is really nice with a waterfall and Jets. We also rented Bikes at the reception this was 50k a day and was really useful! I would highly recommend! Shower was little bit salty water but not sea water(50/50). Not sure if this is normal for Gili but it was not anoying for us.

They even booked for me one excursion with the boat that was just perfect! I could also rent the bike there for 50k per day and it was great! They have suggested me places to have stoical food and yoga also! Really suggesting it!

• Edwards (10/5): Exceptional - We had an absolutey amazing stay at Villa Hoomea. It's such a perfect little place. The villas themselves are so cosy and even more private than I expected. It was super clean, beautifully built and decorated. The pool is lovely. Also the loungers, outdoor seating and bed are all really comfortable. The staff were incredible. Very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend!

• Ilona (8/5): Good stay - Private place with nice pool, mosquito net in the bathroom. Nice location further from the mosque, which is good. There is even a table with chair that can be used for working. I didn't hear any neighbors so it felt really private. During the day it was getting really hot and the terrace was unlivable. An umbrella would help. Also the pool was warm and not refreshing. During the hot days even the A/C was not strong enough. The bed was not super comfortable but ok.

• Peter (2/5): Very Poor - This is NOT a 4-star property! - Private pool We booked for 7 nights but left after 3 since we could no longer stay at this place. Although the staff were pleasant, the bed was hard, stains on the bedding, cushions and walls, bathroom & bedroom poorly lit and in need of a facelift, mosquito net also stained and didn't cover bed area so completely useless plus the breakfast appeared to be microwaved. We were offered 1 nights refund but requested a refund for the 4 nights we didn't stay because the property listing wasn't accurate and was mis-rated 4 star (refund discussions still ongoing). How Booking.com can rate this property a 4 star is beyond us! We moved to the PinkCoco resort which is rated 3 star by Booking.com but was a world apart for cleanliness, decor, service, facilities & breakfast (if Booking.com rated the PinkCoco as 4 or 5 star we wouldn't be surprised as it's worth it!) Would not recommend Hoomea Villas as it's been over-rated (2 star more appropriate) plus the location is poor and far away from the centre and the pier. If you can afford the extra, do yourself a favour and book the PinkCoco instead - you won't be disappointed!

The recomm - They property was a great size and nicely designed with a gorgeous private plunge pool with water feature (that turns off at night) in bright colours with a large comfortable bed and nice bathroom with very hot water

• Edward (10/5): Private pool room at a bargain price on Gili Air. - Complaints on previous reviews are overblown. For the price its a fabulous private pool room. Only 5 villas so very chill in one of the quietest corners of the island. Staff were fantastic and the rooms Aircon was great. The water dispenser is a life save and dispenses ICE COLD water (also has a fridge to keep anything else cold). They clean the room and pool if you request via door sign, and a few geckos running around outside is the standard for Gili Air. Didn't see any in the room over 4 nights and they have a mosquito net you can enclose yourself in if you're that worried. It's a little bit dated and could do with a lick of paint and some new sun lounger cushions, but again no problem, and for the price you pay you're getting a steal. I would also recommend a parasol/umbrella because in the middle of the day there's no cover by the pool.

You really do feel like you’re in your own little world when you’re in there. Breakfast also delivered to you in your room at the time you’ve chosen which is SUCH a nice touch. Loved it.

• Therese (9/5): Had a lovely time while there. The pool area was so nice. The rooms was a comfortable size as there was tables and chai - The private pool. Outdoor seating area. Privacy. Staff were very helpful. No TV. It was a long walk to the jetty.
