- Alan (9/5): -
- Otie (10/5): My stay was awesome - The view of the space in front of the room is so beautiful. Nothing really
- XI (10/5): Come stay with them! - The place is clean and tidy, with a lovely common area where guests can relax, chat, and enjoy BBQs. I met wonderful people there and shared travel tips. The host is amazing—she helped me get a taxi, negotiated local prices, told the driver where to drop me for a shared taxi to Botswana, and even advised me on fair prices for everything. She also shared tour company contacts, noted my requests to tailor the tour plan, and passed them to the guide. When I was short on Zambia money, she kindly helped me out. Truly the best host ever. They also have laundry service with a charge. Nothing. I love the place, the host, the staffs, and the guests there!
- yang (10/5): -
- Sandeep (8/5): Very good -
- Raj (8/5): Very good -
- Suyoung (6/5): Really wanted like this place for budget lodging but had too many issues. Why knock on door at 0630 to ask what time i w - Staff, beautiful cheerful smiles everyday
Walkable location TV in room but can only have one channel designated by front desk, huh? Sink is small, just brushing teeth splashed water all over floor. One outlet in the whole room. WIFI connection was the worst part of the stay. Even when connected, too slow.
- Iker (10/5): Perfect, simply perfect! - Perfect, simply perfect! The vibes of this lodge are amazing, really chilling.
The decoration is amazing. I had lunch & dinner there, very good fish, ifishashi & kandolo!
They arranged me the tour to Chobe and planned the trip.
Loved it, I would come back.
Outstanding staff, they made me feel very good!
Regards!
- Sandeep (7/5): Good -
- Gwamanda (6/5): Pleasant - The environment is peaceful Aircon not functional and shower curtain too short
- Carlos (8/5): Very good - Staff, the premises, the garden and fresh food Crickets in my room. I don't mind insects but that could be managed better. However, I enjoyed to see the crickets in the mating season :)
- Maciej (6/5): ENJOYABLE - PERFECT
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mzyece (5/5): Passable -
- Ian (10/5): Fantastic Spot - Basic but affordable accommodation. Exceptionally friendly staff. Walking distance to shops and a few decent restaurants. I was happy with the stay.
- Maurene (7/5): Good -
- Komarason (5/5): Passable -
- Komarason (5/5): Passable - Friendly ,efficient staff, close proximity to Victoria Falls, city center The breakfast, eggs should be more brown, Russian should be 1 long not cut in small pieces, no butter supplied with breakfast, bread should be toasted, no sauces with breakfast, last morning had to wait for milk, lights and water problem
- Sebastian (5/5): Passable - The courtyard garden was quaint. The staff were receptive. The room was poorly furnished, and there were far too many mosquitos. It was also extremely hot inside the rooms.
- Jonas (10/5): Exceptional - I love that they had solar lights when the power was put. Fan with built in battery. The outdoor area was really nice.
- Tarek (7/5): Good - Breakfast - bed - solar system Size of the room and its toilte
- Rodrigo (5/5): Passable - The place is ok and have nice installations. They can help you arrange tours. They are all the same price as everywhere else. Not their fault, but the Zambia electricity situation is unbearable. You will stay 13 to 21h of the day without electricity. That means without aircon or fans. If you open the door for some air, you will be eaten alive by all the mosquitoes. The staff try to manage as possible. They have battery operated fans. They should charge all the fans whenever the power is on so they'd have spare ones. More than once our fan ran out battery and the others not being used were not charged.
- Kok (8/5): Very good - Good stay.
- Betty (9/5): Great place to stay. -
- Suebpong (7/5): Nicep UN - It's in the city centre, not far from station, restaurants and shops. Bed is very small for 2 persons.
- Gareth (5/5): Passable -
- Betty (9/5): Superb -
- Norm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Norm (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Power outages
- Timothy (7/5): Comfortable. Friendly. Well located, helpful staff. - Is quiet. The staff are really helpful.
- Piotr (7/5): Good - A nice clean, but crammed and tiny room, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is quite good. Major problems: during "load-shedding" (blackout), which is most time day and night, water (not only hot water) is gone and you cannot charge the phone at all.
This could also be a reasonable budget place in the town, except that is is overpriced at 36 usd to foreigners, 25 usd to locals.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The rooms are old, dated and have a strange distribution. Beds are small and they don't have a generator so there's no electricity during 18 hours a day which is very inconvenient. They have two small solar lights but that's it. Overall it was not comfortable but the worse was the incredibly unfriendly service. The day we were leaving we went for breakfast at 9:20. It took them more than half hour to serve us breakfast. When we were finishing breakfast and planning our day for a few minutes, one of the staff members approached us and told us very rudely that if we were leaving that day we should go and get the bags out of out room right away or she would charge us for a another night. It was 10:10am. We were in complete shock since to start with we thought check out was at 11 like most places in Zambia, but mostly because of the rudeness of this person who was literally kicking us out when it was them who took ages to serve us breakfast in the first place. She made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The only reason she wanted the room so quickly it was because the only other two guests at the hotel, had complained about the room, they've been shown every room and didn't like any of them and the staff told them our room was the best in the hotel and they could have it. The truth is that our room was also terrible but hey didn't know this. Overall a very unpleasant and unsavoury stay. Not recommended at all. They're better places in town generators and friendly service
- Beth (6/5): I’ll stay again - Lovely staff and atmosphere The mattresses were terrible. And only 1 towels per 2 people.
- Ines (8/5): Very good - It was good location. The staff are simply fantastic, they are all so nice. Nice area to sit and chill too.
- Carolyn (7/5): Good - Good value for money, especially the breakfast.
- Alisha (10/5): The place is absolutely gorgeous with a stunning garden where you can chill any time . 🌳 🌸The breakfast tastes like home -
- Alisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martijn (6/5): Pleasant - Due to load shedding, there is no electricity for most of the day (no generator, only solar powered lights).
- Ivan (8/5): Very good -
- Rabelani (9/5): Superb -
- Desiree (9/5): Superb - Great location, amazing staff...helpful, friendly...beautiful garden
- Nimpa (9/5): I enjoyed my time. I would stay here again if I come back to Livingstone. - The location is very close to the centre. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. I have no negative comment about the property. My negative comment is about the power outage in the city, twice a day.
- Gerhard (8/5): Warm, restful, affordable and good value for money. - Staff, location and local Zambian breakfast and dinner. Garden in the centre provides an atmosphere of African village life and tranquility. Despite 13 hour Load shedding in Zambia, the staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.
- Susan (9/5): Lovely clean friendly place to stay. - This was a great place to stay. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Load shedding is a nuisance but not the fault of the lodge owner or staff. In my opinion this load shedding is not only damaging businesses but the entire economy of Zambia. Such a shame.
- Ruy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Choti (9/5): Great location, appealing garden seating, fabulous staff, despite somewhat aged roomsaged rooms that could use a make-ov - The staff are amazing, friendly, courteous and efficient!
Location is great and restaurants, supermarket and many locations are walkable from the lodge.
Location is safe.
Loadshedding was a nuisance but staff did everything they could to assist and reduce discomfort.
Breakfasts are included and sumptuous full English meals!
Fridge in each room. AC in each room- though I did not use it because it was cool weather in May. The rooms could use some updating - torn mosquito net, cracked bathroom mirror, windows that don’t fully close, shower drains with holes and not easy to clean. However the staff attitude and pleasantness did compensate greatly.
- Ditte (9/5): Superb - Very friendly and helpful personel - all very lovely! And a very beautiful garden. Warm water was not available at arrival, but could be requested from the personel. Apart from that everything was very nice.
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kennedy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ehsan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Marius (6/5): Pleasant - Inexpensive. Close to main tourist areas. The room was very small. The room and bathroom could be maintained better.
- Maciej (8/5): Very good -
- Raphael (7/5): Small place but beautiful and efficient - Cleanliness of the hotel room
Provide mosquito nets Mosquitoes
Electricity is been rationed
- Faith (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff, clean room, lovely cooked meals. Everything else we asked for, we would get assisted. Cold showers, water was never warm.
- Cath (10/5): Wonderful stay. For the price paid, everything about the stay was amazing. The staff are wonderful - For the price paid, this is a very comfortable stay. The staff are wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you. Beautiful setting, nice rooms and great breakfasts and meals .
- Josie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very safe. The included breakfast was delicious and very generous. The room was very clean and comfortable, aircon worked like a dream! The staff were absolutely lovely and always willing to help. The gardens were also a really nice spot to sit for breakfast or a drink.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - I loved my stay at Okavango Lodge. The staff was extremely helpful and the room was very comfortable. There is a lovely garden where I had my dinner and breakfast (delicious).
- Ncube (9/5): Superb - Exceptional hospitality, wifi, and comfortable accomodations All was well
- Mwangala (6/5): Pleasant -
- Belekazi (8/5): Good - Location was good,as you walk to shops. There was fridge and aircon in the room.Place is very quiet. There was free continental breakfast..There are tables and chairs with shades in the garden. Nothing
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional - We were able to check in earlier they helped with arranging taxis and the staff in general were so friendly. Shame we couldn’t stay for longer.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sander (8/5): Very good -
- Marakalala (3/5): Poor -
- Yuka (7/5): Good location, good staff - It was in the convenient location just a bit inside the big road leading to Vic Falls. The staff and cats were very friendly. They kindly responded to our request.
- Lucyna (9/5): Relaxing Garden and value for money - Great Staff (Marta) always smiling and helpful. Great place, green indoor-you can sit at the table in the middle od green Garden.
Breakfast is good and you could order delicious dinner. Value for money . Standard is not high and room small, but the price is reasonable. Strange bathroom (mirror above the toilet, smaaal), but hangers -nice touch.
The manager could do better (taxi that she provides is 4xtimes more expensive than the one we usually find by ourselves)
