- MOSTAFA (6/5): - De Maree Hotel in Sultanahmet is an average choice for accommodation. Its main advantage is the prime location, close to dining shops and within walking distance of key tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.

- Shazia (6/5): - Zimmer wurde nicht regelmäßig gereinigt, und es hat immer wieder an Handtücher, Toilettenpapier gefehlt, nach ein paarmal Anforderung dann kam was. Wir mussten immer wieder darauf hinweisen, dass das Zimmer gereinigt werden muss, würde versprochen aber nichts gemacht.
- MUHAMMAD JAWAD (2/5): - This hotel needs big improvements in many aspects.staff has no idea how a hotel works,wont clean rooms ,wont provide with clean bed sheets or towels.washroom had an exhaust fan which had water leaking from it. I wont recommend this place to anyone at all so avoid this place at all cost,was there with family and had to find another accomodation in a different hotel.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - When we arrived at the hotel after a very long flight, we were made to wait for nearly 45 minutes as the room was not cleaned. We arrived past the check in time, so we didn’t expect to be kept waiting. The room was overall fine but it was in the basement facing the street. It was difficult to sleep at night because of the noise from outside. The staff at the front desk were helpful as needed.

The only issue we had was the toilets not flushing but it got solved as soon as we told the staff. Its a decent hotel for a short stay. We stayed in the family room and there was plenty of space for us all.

I drop my luggage 3 days ahead before going to cappadocia and the staff accepted my request otherwise very headache to hold my luggage. It was near to Ayasofia and blue mosque and grand bazaar. Also it’s near to cruise tour by walking distance. Would remember the reception staff kindness.

- Haifa (2/5): À fuir - L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier mal fréquenté, pour y accéder il y a pas mal de marches sans rampe pour poussette ou fauteuil roulant. Le personnel vraiment pas accueillant aucune aide pour faire monter nos bagages. Il n’y avait évidement pas d’ascenseur. La décoration est glauque. Nous n’y avons finalement pas passé la nuit malgré le fait d’y avoir réserver 4 nuits non remboursables.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Not happy - I travelled with my family with a 4 month baby, arrived at the airport at 11pm booked a taxi to take us to the hotel when we arrived we were told by the hotel staff that their hotel is closed due to covid as they failed to get a permit and after such a long effort he offered us an alternative place another 10mins drive. Luckily our taxi driver was kind enough to take us there and he didn't ask for any extra, we arrived at The Reina hotel the staff was friendly and we were offered a similar room at the ground floor but the place was so damp and it was hard to breath even with air-conditioning it wasn't a pleasant experience and there were no other alternatives available. No tea coffee facility no microwave in the hotel.
- Salwa (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend - The lady at the hotel is amazing, I can’t complain. However, NO HEATING, NO CLEAN TOWELS, NO CLEAN BED SHEETS. Room is very very dirty. We asked for towels to be changed & the man said they are clean although they were excessively stained with yellow marks & almost ripped as if they were used for years no stop.

However, the managers eventually worked well with our large group and helped us as much as possible. The rooms are large and comfortable allowing a smooth experience.

The lady who works there and I think she is a manager , she speaks English and she seems to be helpful and the other receptionists don't Which is annoying . I booked a economy double bed , and when I got there , she said your room is downstairs because of economy option which I didn't know it , she gave me a Room in second floor , basically she did a favour to me , so thanks for that . They change the bed sheet and pillows every other day which should be every day and the sheet and towel that they chang ,is not Very clean I could see stains on the sheet and towel .You can hear noises from the other rooms . So in overall they can improve hygiene and English skills.

Staff was wonderful and even gave us a complimentary early check-in and upgrade. One of the best stays ive ever had. As a hotel receptionist myself, i would say they're excellent and rooms are kept clean when needed. Would highly recommend or stay again. Thanks to all the staff for their wonderful assistance and how welcoming they were.

The beds were so uncomfortable and dodgy... bathroom facilities was not working properly and when complained to the reception about it, the said that all they have and they can’t help! Very rude and unhelpful staff... they even forgot to book an airport shuttle for us which cost us 50 Euros because we had to catch a taxi!

- Verified traveler (4/5): - When we got to the hotel we were given the wrong room. we told them that was not the room we booked. we booked a family room for 6 they gave us a room for 5 saying that they were fully booked. They gave us an extra bed which filled up the only floor space in the room. They only clean the room when you ask them to, even then they just turn the sheets over and put them back on and the towels are stained. we did not have a pleasant stay at all in a crammed room. Will never stay there again, will not recommend.

I booked my reservation there but when I arrived, they said they accepted reservations more than there are enough rooms. So I had to look for a new hotel in the middle of the night because this horrible hotel is not responsible. They didn't even apologize for over acceptance of bookings. Shame on them! If you are looking for a place to stay, please avoid this hotel! Otherwise, you may end up on being outside because they don't have rooms for you even though you rightfully booked a room there.

Everything is close to the hotel its in the center of tourism and is very beautiful with a lot off caffees restaurants gift shops markets bazaars mosques parks everything is really good food was amazing well to be short you wont regret of staying there ... and all those negative comments you will see dont pay attention because people who stay there some of them want radison blue comfort and pay 40$ they are just crazy and not normal and the price you pay you still get good conditions so if you trust my opinion go to de maree i hope you will be as satisfied and as happy as i am ... i stayed with my family member there for five nights i wish i could stay more but unfortunatelly i didn’t have much time so i had to get back but if its possible for any of you stay there at least 1week because trust me you wont get enough of the beauty and sightseeing and fun that is waiting for you there .... with you all the best whoever will read my review and have a good trip have fun people life is too short to complain for no reasons .... go to de maree you will get love friendship kindness and everything all together ❤️
