Guest Reviews
- Krzysztof (9/5): - In the Middle of small town. View too! Nice host!
- Seija (9/5): Helppo majoittua, hyvät ohjeet. -
- Viktoria (9/5): - The location is amazing and check in and out was very easy.
- Denise (5/5): Conveniently located, treacherous steps - Convenient location to the train station All the winding stairs to get to the property. The internet barely worked and the coffee maker does not work.
- Dagny (10/5): -
- Bruno (7/5): Für en paar Tage eine ideale Unterkunft. - Sehr Zentrale Lage. Lärm. von Zug, gewöhnt man sich aber.
- Andreas (7/5): Beliggenhet - Topp beliggenhet, ikke noe særlig ekstra Greit
- David (10/5): -
- Jarmo (9/5): Rento kylälomailua keskellä zinque Terren kansallispuistoa - Erittäin viihtyisä pieni huone keskellä Vernazzaa. Tänne kannattaisi saapua junalla vaikka autollakin pääsee ihan hyvin. Auto vain pitää pysäköidä noin kilometrin päähän itse kylästä mistä on kuljetus. Huoneesee on aika jyrkät rappuset eli jos on hiukankin liikuntarajoitteinen kannattaa valita jokin muu asumus.
Also sehr genau lesen !!
- Tarvi (10/5): -
- McCardell (4/5): Really? - So many stairs to reach the property and then more stairs inside. That was not clearly communicated. A bed and a kitchen table with chairs. That’s it. No kitchen facilities at all. Contact was unavailable as she was hiking.
- Taylor (10/5): -
- smith (10/5): - Excellent location
- Crystal (8/5): Easy in and out, great location, very comfortable bed, room was cleaned part way through my stay. A great accomodation i - The bed in the room on the left was so comfortable (i was alone so did not sleep in the other bed, it was firmer, which many people like). There were 2 fans, which was all i needed in September (no AC). Good closet space and adequate hangers. A hairdryer was supplied. No kitchen sink or way to make food. The photos in the advertisement/post were a little misleading because there are two apartments and it is hard to tell which photos go with which apartment. I thought there was a balcony, but that ended up being the other apartment. In the end it didn’t really affect my experience, the apartment was great and really comfortable.
- Ma. Schu.

- Tech97 (7/5): -
- Maiken (10/5): - The property and location were perfect. The host gave us great tips for restaurants and even picked us up, making our arrival smooth and easy.
- Marjo (8/5): -
- Karly (3/5): Would not come back - The balcony view and location There was no AC, the WIFI did not work, the bed was not comfy, and it was much smaller than expected
- Sabrina (9/5): -
- Anne (8/5): Great location and the host was very helpful. - Location was great.
- Evangelia (10/5): Exceptional - Very beautiful, nice location in the centre. Elena was wonderful, she picked us from train station and walked us to the guesthouse. She answered immediately to our messages and questions.
- Kohdy (8/5): Very good - Very good location, and it was clean. Also the host was able to serve a special request for us which we appreciate greatly! Not many amenities, it was a bit pricey for one night.
- Eduardo (9/5): Superb - Perfect location. Just few steps to main street and restaurants.
- Jay (8/5): Very good -
- Mike (8/5): Very good - I thought the location was fabulous I wish I did not have to climb so many stairs
- Marc (9/5): Superb - - In the heart of Vernazza
- Very nice and helpful landlords
- The town is super busy during the day but at night it is very quiet. staying here completed our experience and made it much more valuable than just staying for a day trip
- Jeffrey (7/5): Good -
- Karl (10/5): Exceptional - Great location really cute apartment Booking .com have the wrong address
Which really bum steered us in the wrong direction
Needed more crockery and cutlery
And a microwave would have been great
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessie (7/5): Nice - Vernazza is absolutely stunning so I was super happy with the location
The communication with the host was good, the check-in worked fine
Very charming little apartment with a lovely view Very close to the train station so there’s a lot of noise at night
Some things need to be replaced, for example the balcony furniture and the shower
- Tessa (6/5): Excellent location but hostess absent so very little support - Excellent view and a lot of space indoors. Appears to be an apartment but marketed as a room so one of the cheaper options The hostess was not present and entry into the property was confusing as there were three keypads. We were sent information last minute which made it more stressful when we arrived. I phoned the hostess and she seemed to get annoyed with me. The cleaner did not come every day so we ran out of toilet roll
- Karen (10/5): A beautiful stay in Cinque Terre! - We had a wonder adventure exploring Cinque Terre. Vernazza was beautiful and welcoming. The pillows were too hard for us.
- Marcelino (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (8/5): Comfortable accommodation in the centre of wonderful Vernazza. - Excellent location in the heart of historic Vernazza. Close to station. Spacious, shaded balcony with superb views over rooftops and down into the bustling main street. Fans, shutters and north-facing aspect kept the rooms cool without need for aircon. Nice old-fashioned furnishings give the rooms a traditional look. Noise from railway, but this is inevitable in centre of Vernazza. Did not expect cooking facilities, but the generous dining table and provision of plates, cups and glasses, together with excellent takeaway food available nearby encourage eating in, so the lack of cutlery is perverse. Small sitzbath with no shower curtain mean showering can flood the bathroom. Toilet flush inadequate. The title 'Guesthouse' is a misnomer - normally one expects breakfast in such accommodation.
- Marko (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great. Friendly stuff, great location close to the train station. Everything is clean. -
- Shauna (8/5): A very reasonably priced property - no bells or whistles here but you get what you pay for. - The location was excellent and the balcony was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. The bathroom was a tad tight and no AC. This is the perfect spot for someone on a budget.
- Angelo (8/5): Very good -
- Jeng (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (7/5): Good -
- Ej (10/5): Exceptional - Central location a bit of a 'hike' to get to the hotel/entrance ... but once settled, great central location.
- Jennifer (8/5): - This apartment was centrally located. The bed was comfortable. No AC but the fans worked well. There are lots of stairs to get to it so not easy with luggage but not terrible. The host is very nice and easy to work with.
- Harry (7/5): In spite of the danger posed by the stairs (my wife is 83) we had a great stay. - Great location, good breakfast place right next door Booking.com should advise clients before booking of the treacherously steep two flights of stairs to access the room. Also, the light bulb was timed and would go out half way up putting us into blackness while on the steps. We really appreciate a reception desk where we can check in with a live person who can provide local information.
- Michel (7/5): Center of Attention - Very close to the center of town, the size of room supports a couple and a three plus day stay. The amenities like the small kitchen are plenty. The bathroom was clean and big enough. Glad they provided a floor fan, it would have been uncomfortable if not. The TV worked well to watch a soccer game. Need to send instructions in English to US folks, luckily, we lived in Italy many years ago and made our way through the message on where to find the room. A small mirror in from of the sink for the ladies would be nice. We did hear the trains, but got use to them, just like half of the town. Don't bring big suitcases unless you like stairs!
- Lucía (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Near by everything :) Wifi not good, Apart from that all ok!
- Claire (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy Needed another duvet.. warmer bedding
- Bruce (6/5): A basic room, clean and central, no frills. - Good location. A little run down. Little welcome other than a text, never asked how the stay was. It’s basically an anonymous AirBnB situation. Find your own way in. Lots of ‘forbidden’ notes in the room.
Not a bad place. A basic room. Little in the way of a welcoming Italian experience.
- Wissam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathy (9/5): Good place to stay in Vernazza - Great location, comfy bed, lovely balcony overlooking the main drag. Close to lovely bar Blue Marlin. A bit of cutlery and a couple of plates would have been good. Hot water didn't last long.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Moore (10/5): The location is ideal and the space is beautifully designed and decorated. - Location, cleanliness, and vibe Nothing!! I love everything about this place
- Margaret (6/5): Pleasant - The terrace was our favorite part. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom. Small tub.
- Georgina (3/5): City center, place not jeot - Location, the host Gabriella was very nice and allow us to leave our luggage
In the apartment before check in time. Very basic, old worn out furnishing, no air conditioning, should have mentioned that there were over 60 steps up hill to reach apartment. Need to be in good shape with good knees and very light luggage. We stayed only one night
- Suilvenms (8/5): Very good -
- Gorder (8/5): Very good -
- Hollie (10/5): Perfect base for Cinq Terre - Great location and a gorgeous balcony to sit on.
- Reina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (7/5): Nice location but the toilet was a bit broken, hopefully they have fixed it now - Location and they had a clothing line which made it more comfortable The toilet didn’t flush properly and kept running
- Dr. (3/5): Poor - Central location, easy communication with the host, balcony Double bed was 120cm and very uncomfortable, very noisy at night (windows not well insulated)
- Maryori (7/5): Fantastic location - Fantastic location. Very close to station and beach. No air conditioning.
- Alessandro (8/5): Very good -
- Tara (10/5): Highly recommend this appartment! - Location 10/10! On the main street, very easy to find, lots of steep steps but no problem for us, close to everything in vernazza. Our windows overlooked the main street, didn't find trains or any other noises disturbed us much. Fans were provided, lovely bedroom, comfy bed. Can't fault it in any way. Nothing
- Gabriele (7/5): Good - The view from the terrace it’s very nice. The place it’s too noisy. You have both the nearby train station with trains going all day long and the trash truck loading glass bottles that woke us up early in the morning.
- Peter (9/5): Fantastic - great place and would definitely go back!! - It’s great location and lovely property. Really clean and comfy beds! Noisy in the evening but everything else perfect.
- Meredeth (7/5): Good - location, view no air conditioning, no coffee pot or kitchen sink, or wastebasket in the kitchen.
(8/5): Good prise, good place - It was clean, comfortable, in the room there were all of the things that you need for your stay. It was in perfect location.
- Sigita (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (8/5): Great Place w/ Terrace in the Center of Vernazza - We loved how close the property was to the train station so we could easily get there. And we also loved the terrace! It’s so nice to be able to sit and enjoy the vernazza life from above. The bed and room were so clean & comfortable so that’s a big plus. There’s definitely a little hike you have to go up to get to this place but I’m sure that’s the case for most places in the 5 lands. If you want to be in the action, this is a great place to stay but if you can’t handle too much action, opt for a short stay. Being close to the station is a blessing and a curse. If you can’t sleep well at night with a lot of noise, I don’t recommend this room at all! The terrace is overlooking the Main Street and on trash pick up day it’s a rude awakening, plus you hear the trains non stop. But if you’re good with noise and want to stay in Vernazza, I guess most places here would be loud since it’s so tiny. We also didn’t love not having a place to wash dishes, because some of the provided dishes were not super fresh. But we didn’t expect this so it was fine. Overall, a great stay though.
- Michael (5/5): Even with above mentioned items, I would book again if not in hot wx. Incredible location. - No contact with owner other than by phone and hard to understand. Even with instructions, it was hard to find.
No air conditioning and only one small fan with temps in high 80’s.
- Domenico (10/5): Great experience - Great location within town. Close to restaurants and water.
Close to train station
- Eric (7/5): Good -
- Mark (7/5): Enjoyed it… simple, clean, and comfortable. - Great location, charming old flat with lovely balcony and view. Lack of a proper enclosed shower.
- Anne (2/5): The Worst Place I Have Ever Stayed - Avoid! - Location is nice, at the heart of Vernazza and close to the beach. The place is near the train station, but it is noisy inside because you can always hear the trains. I will NEVER stay here again. Right when I came, I had to shower because it was very hot. There was no towel anywhere, and I had to use my own small towel. I contacted the host to request some and ..... was ACCUSED of stealing the towels....Can you believe it???!!!
My daughter and I had to carry our big luggage through a lot of steep stairs to get to this property - NEVER again. Do not come here if you have big luggage.
There was no AC... The fan that was provided was so small. We had a choice of opening the window (and hearing the train all night long, plus have some insects coming in) or sweating during sleep - very uncomfortable.
- Carmen (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, beautiful room, super clean and near to the beach, Gabriella an excellent hostess very attentive to our questions and requests, We would definitely come back to this guesthouse. Nothing
- Spata (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marc (8/5): Very nice location for up to 4 people. Close to beach and coastal trail. - Very nice location, close to the beach and directly on the trail route. Could hold 4 people, so was oversized for myself (and made it rather expensive compared to other single room bookings)
- Amelia (9/5): Superb -
- Erik (8/5): great location, nice terrace, and the host was available for us to ask questions when we didn’t find the way. - good location, nice terrace
- Valerie (8/5): Very good - Attentive helpful owner.
Location central
Simple but comfortable Difficult stairs
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - the steps are very steep
- Marius (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (7/5): Great location. We went in May, so not having air condition was OK. However, during warmer months, it would be needed to - Location it would’ve been nice to have been warned in advance about the loud train that runs all night. However, the whole town has that.
- Nigel (9/5): Great location, great balcony - Location was brilliant, close to the station, the balcony was great big fridge, tea making facilities were good.
Hiking track starts outside your door and leads to the La Torre restaurant. Good hot powerful shower, interaction with the owner was great. Could only get wifi inside the apartment not on the balcony. The trains still barrel through the station throughout the night and can keep you awake but that is something that would keep the whole town awake. There are a lot of stairs which are everywhere which can be a pain with luggage, but if you want the balcony views you have to have stairs!
