- Jheison Felipe (8/5): -
- Rochelle (8/5): Tidy good value place for one night stay. A bit noisy. - Neat, tidy and affordable Weirdly there were no plug ins in our room.
- Amitai (10/5): Recommend - A small, colorful and quiet hotel located close to the center .
They kept my suitcase safe when I went to San Pedro for few days
- Ovando (7/5): -
- Karen (10/5): - Excelente ubicación.
- Patricia (8/5): - Goed gelegen, vriendelijk personeel, nette kamer, keuken waar je zelf iets kunt koken of opwarmen.
- Gwen (10/5): - A short walk from the main tourist area, which was nice because it was quiet. The room, the shared patio areas snd common kitchen were all very clean.
- Sebastian (7/5): - There are two shared kitchens and two terraces to hang out. Only two power outlets in the whole room. They were both in use (fan and TV) and in a bad location (close to the ceiling).
Also, this may not be the hotel's fault, but during our first night an alarm clock went off at 4 o'clock in another room and kept going for 1 hour. There's no soundproofing so you hear everything going on in the hotel.
- Makenna (10/5): Amazing staff and accommodations! - The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the room was exactly as described in the booking! Shower had hot water and good water pressure The property is in an alley a bit off the beaten path, but we didn’t feel unsafe when walking
- Monika (8/5): - Dobra lokalizacja, bardzo miła obsługa. Czysto.
- Schneider (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, great location
- Dormarie (5/5): Rooms need to be dusted - Furniture, fan was very dusty. No breakfast included
- Jeanne (9/5): - Friendly staff, great location and great value.
- michael (7/5): Budget hotel , nothing luxurious, but clean and safe. - Economy Noisy, dark
- Jimmy (7/5): -
- John (9/5): - Comfortable room, where everything worked as it should including nice hot shower. Excellent location, although this became somewhat of a double edged sword. Friendly owner and staff. The central location meant there was a lot of late night noise from the nearby clubs and bars.
- Alejandro Raimundo (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (6/5): - There was a nice outdoors sitting area. The location was good. There was also a kitchen if you wanted to use it. I didn't feel all that comfortable there. It was kind of junky. Beds were okay, but I would not return there.
- ANDRES MAYORGA RIVEROS (5/5): -
- Karin (10/5): - Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Knus en gezellig hotel.
Rustig gelegen maar vlakbij het centrum.
Een echte aanrader! -
- Anja (8/5): - Rustig gelegen. Heerlijke bedden en een fijn terras.
- Bethan (8/5): A good option off the main drag. - Very cute decor. The roof terrace and kitchen were great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The water in our shower on the top floor was cold. The toilet bin in our bathroom wasn’t emptied during our stay. There was a loose corrugated tin sheeting on the roof which made a huge noise in the wind and kept us awake at night.
- Garry (8/5): -
- Ashanya (9/5): - The hotel is in a very central location, just at the top of Calle Santander, but tucked away on a small backstreet/alley so nice and quiet. Lovely terraces full of plants where you can sit and eat or hang out and decent communal kitchen with free drinking water.
The room was a good size and bathroom had great, hot shower. Staff were also wonderful and helpful. Check in was very easy. Only issue was the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. Also, the shower was quite slow draining.
- Line Grønning (8/5): -
- Elske (10/5): - Great location, hot shower, friendly staff.
- Ludwig (8/5): -
- Chacon (10/5): -
- Christophe0118 (7/5): Basic. - The location is centric yet far enough to get a decent night's sleep with little noise. Staff is helpful with local info. Very basic room, no hot water. I waited 10 minutes for it.. Good for 1 night.
- Julio (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Comfortable and colourful. Would recommend. - Great location, friendly staff and two outdoor terraces.
The room was clean and tidy and the shower was fantastic - hot water AND good pressure!!
Loved all the wall murals. The kitchen was useful, due to the availability of drinking water and a fridge, but it was only very basic. Not equipped for cooking.
- Erasmo (10/5): -
- Anita (10/5): Location was great and excellent value for money. Large clean rooms and a balcony we could sit and chill out - Location Nothing
- Javier Orlando (10/5): -
- Aleena (9/5): Great location within walking distance of town and boats. Clean and staff were great - Very large, clean triple room. Staff were awesome
- Stella (8/5): - Very clean room. Nice roof terrace and simple kitchen. Good hot shower. Tienda close by for sim data. Close to bars and restaurants and Santander street. It was noisy, the music and bangers are loud.
- Dr. Kevin Bennett (9/5): Basic but good. I liked the location and the owner. - It's basic accommodation, but set in a back alley so it was quiet, yet only a short walk to the center of town. The owner was very friendly, spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Others commented it was noisy due to a disco, but that wasn't my experience. I had two nights there and it was quiet. It was fine.
- emmanuelle (6/5): - Si the place is very clean but it’s far from glamorous
Very well located but my only issue was the paper thin walls
Someone’s phone was ringing in their room and it woken me up as it felt it was in my room
So if you are young or on a budget . I would recommend it
If comfort and luxury is important then skip it
- Jacopez (9/5): -
- Jacopez (8/5): -
- Iria (9/5): -
- Gloria (8/5): Very good -
- Jose (8/5): - Ubicacion is perfect close to everything the staff so friendly especially soyla
- Alexi (10/5): - Nice,cheap,Clean place
- Pam (8/5): Great spot and totally comfortable setting. Good value -
- Prakash (10/5): Comfortable hostel - The bedroom was a good size, clean, geographically good location and had friendly staff. Unfortunately the hostel was not far from a bar that was pumping music till late. However the room had a new tv thay could connect to Netflix, youtube etc
- John (10/5): - People were great. Close to everything.
- Yunen (10/5): Hot shower and helpful staffs - Location is convenient to walk to the harbour for the boat, supermarket, and center. Hot shower and shampoo sachet supplied, which is delightful. we love to sit outside our room with the full plants surrounded on the balcony. When we had problems with shuttle bus arranged by other tour agent in Antigua, hostel staff Zoila and Diago spend 2 days call the tour agent from Antigua and trying to sort out problems for us. Thank you!
- Rosalind (8/5): Very good - We loved our stay in this hotel. The roof garden is a great place to sit and enjoy a view of the volcanoes. The kitchen facilities are simple but clean and functional. The hotel is very clean and excellent value. The location is good. You can hear the noise from the clubs on the main street but it is not too intrusive ( no heavy base sounds!)
- Tjaša (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel, very clean and very friendly staff, room is big, balconies as well. They have option to reserve shuttles to all other parts of Guatemala. The shampoos you get are actually of high quality.
- Christine (10/5): A very pleasant pleasant place, cosy just like home! - The wonderful terrace in front of the room Nothing!
- Pamela (8/5): Great place for budget travellers! - If you’re a budget traveller, this offers great value. Clean rooms, nice outdoor spaces and well-equipped kitchen. The longer you stay, the more the place grows on you. The property is good. The only negative is the noise from a nearby nightclub, which plays loud music until midnight.
- Colm (9/5): Superb -
- Bryan (10/5): - It’s located in a very nice area it’s really close to everything, restaurants, the lake, shopping, bars
- Lucio (8/5): Very good - the accommodation is very nice and in a fairly convenient area the only flaw is that when paying by card they apply a percentage that was not mentioned in the contract
- Joppe (9/5): Great value for money with a nice terrace - Beautiful terrace with a nice view and a lot of seating options. The place looked a bit old, but was well maintained and clean.
- Peter (10/5): - The hotel's location was perfect, with many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. I was able to easily explore the city without needing to take public transportation
- Monika (10/5): Exceptional - Location & roof terrace was amazing. well equipped kitchen and very friendly and helpful staff. Size of the room was little bit too small but overall good for one night
- Moises (10/5): - 👍
- Jennifer (10/5): Great place to stay in Pana. Would stay again! - Great place at a great price N/A
- Elisa (9/5): Perfect place to except for noise from disco - Wonderful little family run hotel - clean, super nice, cute rooms and a clean kitchen. Great location The only downside was the noise from a nearby disco. Such a shame!
- Maria (7/5): Good - Location
Terrace
- Cowley (10/5): Exceptional - They were able to easily help us schedule a shuttle back to Guatemala City for 2 for 350Q. Loved having access to a clean and functioning kitchen. Allowed us to check out a little later since our shuttle wasn't until noon.
- José (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ron (9/5): nice, would stay again - very close to the main street, nice staff, clean and comfortable a lot of noise in the morning and in the night, a little difficult to find
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely terrace, big bed, very helpful staff, gave us the best deal for shuttle Nothing
- Jess (7/5): Inexpensive, simple but good stay - Very clean room, good wifi, kitchen, nice rooftop the location felt a bit unsafe
- Jordan (8/5): clean and great value - clean, basic but very good value for money dated and rough round the edges
- Terry (8/5): Very good -
- Cassandra (10/5): Amazing! Kind and helpful staff, peaceful environment and hottest shower - The staff were so lovely and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were so clean and comfortable it was a treat for me. The shower was the best hot shower I have had in all of Central America
- Christopher (8/5): A decent and affordable hotel. - Friendly staff, Two well stocked kitchens, Decent Wifi. affordable laundry service. It’s location is close to but away from the main shopping street.
I also saw them putting in brand new mattresses in at least 3 of their bedrooms whilst we were there, which is nice to see. If you stay soon, you’ll be getting a very fresh bed. There was quite a bit of noise from the surrounding homes, especially in the early morning, however it usually calmed down by 9.30am. Family’s having breakfast, dogs barking. The buildings are very close together and are open plan so there is only a thin wall and door between you and the noise.
However it felt like quite an authentic Guatemalan experience and should not stop you staying here.
- Max (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean and have hot water It was a little difficult to find the hotel
- Denise (3/5): Wet dissappinting! - No breakfast served. Location was down a dark dingy narrow alleyway accessible via another alleyway.
Both alleys were strewn with garbage, piles of dog excrement and parked motorcycles. The whole place needed a facelift, entranceway was piled with plastic buckets and laundry. The most heartwarming feature was a sad tank of goldfish.we planned to stay 3 nights and the person receiving us gave us the choice of 3 rooms.we selected one and paid for the first night prior to leaving to find an ATM. As we were leaving , he told us that we should vacate the room for the second night in order to accommodate a regular client who preferred that room. Since we had been looking forward to settling in one place for a few days this was not a welcome proposal.
- Jenna (8/5): Cheap and Best! - Great location for a stop over in Pana. Warm shower, clean and cosy roo.. Limited plugs for charging.
- Florian (7/5): Good - Clean room Asked at the checkin if it's possible to pay when leaving. Answer yes. At 10 o clock at night we got woken up to pay right now for the room.
- Iris (9/5): Superb -
- David (7/5): Does the trick - but bad check-in experience - Despite the negative check-in, the property was clean and did the trick for a one day stop-over. Beds were very comfy and the kitchen had free filtered water. It took us 15 minutes to check-in because they wanted us to pay 200Q instead of the stated 169Q that was agreed on Booking.com.
The young receptionist also called us “gringos” to his colleague over the phone in a negative way. I know it’s a part of the backpacking experience to get called that, but usually it is done with a smile and a wink, and I did not expect the negative tone from a “professional” hotel. It soured our stay.
- Camila (9/5): Superb - Quiet space set off the main street of Pana, lovely patio, great hot water in shower, comfy bed Front door was locked when we tried to catch our 5am shuttle to San Cristobal, a staff member got up after we rang the bell multiple times and called the WhatsApp number so that was fortunate. Felt like a bit of a fire hazard as well as stressful that we could've missed our shuttle
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The Guatemalan decor and ambience was nice.
Location was good but the access was poor. No on-site parking, as the hotel is down a narrow alley. Had to pay extra for parking. Also, even though they accepted credit cards, they wanted a 7% surcharge! Nowhere else in Guatemala have I experienced this.
