• Anke (2/5): - Ausstattung Zimmer, Lage Kein ansprechbarer Service, keine Unterstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder angeboten, ungepflegte Anlage, Frühstück entsprach in keiner Weise dem hohen Preis der Unterkunft.
• Theo (5/5): - Wij verbleven in een bijgebouw, het witte huisje. Kamer was prima, bed was goed en douche ook prima. Het "vakwerk" hoofdgebouw was vervallen. Storm en waterschade, ze zijn met de verzekering bezig en hebben er al 3 jaar niets aan gedaan. Hoofdgebouw bleek niet in gebruik voor gasten. In de ochtend werd er alleen een eenvoudig ontbijt geserveerd in het restaurant welke er zeer vervallen en onverzorgd uitzag. Oud, kapot en verwaarloosd. Er was geen bar en geen diner mogelijk zoals werd aangegeven op de site. Tuin en terras waren zwaar verwaarloosd, met rood/witte linten afgezet. Sauna en zwembad stonden leeg en zag er zwaar verwaarloosd uit. Er was geen fietsverhuur zoals op de site staat omschreven. Je betaald de normale prijs maar krijgt nog niet de helft van wat er op de site van Booking.com omschreven/aangeboden wordt. Wij zijn dan ook erg ontevreden en teleurgesteld. M.n. ook omdat we voor de charme van het vakwerkhuis vielen
• Hj (1/5): Zonde van de 134€. - De kamer was netjes Er was niets. Geen koffie thee ontvangst. Het hotel was gesloten en stond op instorten. Geen tafeltje buiten. De föhn kapot. Geen slot op de deur. Licht op de gang breed door de deur naar binnen schijnen.

• feuerzip (7/5): Etappen Hotel am Dortmund Ems Kanal - Das Zimmer war super und es gab eine verschließbare Scheune mit der Möglichkeit das Rad zu laden. Das Haupthaus erweckte bei mir den Eindruck das die Betreiber keine Mittel für eine vernünftige Instandsetzung haben. Frühstück hat satt gemacht.

• Ilka (5/5): - Das Personal hat keine guten deutsch Kenntnisse. Konnte mein Anliegen nicht zu meiner Zufriedenheit erfüllen. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, wegen Wasserschaden. Die Dusche hatte keinen guten Ablauf, so dass das Badezimmer unter Wasser stand.

• Katinka & Pascal (7/5): Prima - Het personeel was super vriendelijk, wij konden zelfs al iets eerder inchecken. Het hotel was leuk ingericht, alleen gehorig en overlast van andere gasten. Verder was het prima!
• Heinry (9/5): Heerlijk rustige omgeving en zeer comfortabele kamers. - Het ontbijt was zeer goed. Ons verblijf was zeer aangenaam omdat de omgeving tijdens de jaarwisseling erg rustig was en dat was precies waarom we deze locatie hadden uitgekozen. Ook het feit dat de hond welkom is hebbe wij als pluspunt ervaren. -

• Ralf (5/5): Wenn es renoviert wird, kommen wir gerne wieder. - Top Lage, das war auch schon alles. Hotel hatte einen Wasserschaden, daher alles ein bisschen schwierig, vielleicht wird es ja nochmal renoviert.

• Rene (3/5): Würde ich nicht wieder buchen - Das Personal war äusserst freundlich und kompetent. Das Zimmer sowie das Frühstück waren okay. Die Liegenschaft bedarf einer Erneuerung. Hinterlässt ein sehr negatives Bild. Heruntergefallene Terassenabdeckung, kein Restaurantbetrieb mehr, swimmingpool und Sauna ausser Betrieb……., schade den die Lage wäre super. Aktueller Zustand der Immobilie steht in keinster Weise im Einklang mit der Beschreibung und Bilder des Hotels. Entsprechend ist eine 3 Sterne Klassifizierung nicht gerechtfertigt und rechtfertigt den Preis nicht.

• SYLVIA (10/5): - Schönes Hotel mit netten Chef. Die Zimmer waren sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet wirklich gut und eine sehr schöne Terrasse auf der man auch frühstücken kann.

Der Preis für die Übernachtung mit Frühstück deshalb nicht angemessen. - Restaurantbetrieb - Entfernung 2 Kilometer zum nächsten Ort - Preis nicht angemessen und zu teuer

• Anthony (8/5): Very good - The hotel was closed on arrival except for reception person we were put into apartment block which was immaculate. But there was no evening meals or breakfast available so we went out to eat.
• Cristel (8/5): Friendly and charming place. - It has a lot of charm. Very nice location and super friendly staff. The dinner was very overpriced. I hope it was a mistake but we also were ok to pay it so they can hopefully get their kitchen in order again.

• Hajira (6/5): Pleasant - The rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in. There were no nets for bugs on the windows and doors. This allowed a lot of bugs to enter even if we opened the window for a couple of minutes.
• Jean (1/5): Welll… very uncomfortable and kinda disgusting - The property it self had a really nice view. We stayed at Akzent Hotel Saltenhof from 15-16 nov. It was a total disaster. They gave us a portable heater to get through the night as the central heater did not work (this was not communicated). We went to eat at the restaurant and immediately noticed the abundance of flies nonetheless we stayed because we were tired and hungry (this was a mistake) we then received a bottle of wine which was oxidized (gone bad). One of our meals had a hair stuck in the dough. Which is a hygiene/ health concern! We thought the hair was the cherry on top but little did we know that our long awaited warm shower wasn’t going to happen. The water was ice cold it wasn’t bareable. We informed the front desk in the morning and they told us that the water heater didn’t work and this issue was known to them but again we weren’t informed. We also found pubic hair in the bathroom. We really hope these issues get resolved.

• Paul (4/5): - Das Hotel an sich wird umgebaut bzw. nicht mehr im Einsatz. Die Gäste werden in irgendeinem Haus hinter dem Hotel in Zimmern untergebracht. Das Haus ist noch nicht fertig mit der Renovierung, die Gäste werden jedoch schon untergebracht. Hellhörigekeit ist einfach furchtbar in diesem Haus, man hört jeden Gast der in das Gebäude reingeht, Sigward jedes umdrehen von Schlüsseln! Dusche ist furchtbar, obwohl neu gemacht. Nach jedem Duschen ist der ganze Raum unter Wasser. Soetwas schlimmes habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Die Bilder entsprechen nicht einmal annähernd dem Istzustand bzw. den Räumen wo man untergebracht wird.

There was a problem with assigning the room for us, however the staff satisfied us with some extra offers. Also the Tesla Destination was not working.

• Jens (7/5): Idyllic countryside location, comfortable bed and friendly staff. - The hotel is a bit tagged away and to get there one has to pass through an area of businesses with warehouses but once approaching the actual hotel one feels positively surprised. The description of a 'Tudor style Manor House' is not far off. It has a big entrance hall, which leads to the reception, the restaurant/breakfast room is to your left. The room I stayed in was on the first floor and was spacious with an en-suite bathroom with shower. Bed was very cozy and the breakfast in the morning was good. Staff very attentive and friendly. I did not see a lift and had to carry my luggage up the stairs. It's ok for me but I can see that may be an issue with elderly people and guests staying on the upper floors. The waiter I met when I entered the property was also the receptionist who checked me in. Initially he could not find my reservation but when I showed him my booking.com confirmation he gave me a room. The door to my room was on the landing to the upper floors, so it was a bit noisy when people went up or came down. The bathroom was separated from the main room by a glass sheet with a glass door with a foil obscuring the view. It's ok when you travel alone but if you seek privacy in the bathroom, you won't get it. The room was carpeted and there were loads of stains all over.

Der var stort fokus på den individuelle service, og der blev ikke gået på kompromis i forhold til Corona-hensyn. Der var pænt og rent over det hele, og meget fokus på afstand mellem gæsterne, og mulighed for at spritte hænder af. Aftensmaden var i særklasse, og er enorm positiv overraskelse - ganske enkelt "Weltklasse" :-)
• Robert (4/5): Misleiding bij prijsstelling !! - Ik heb heel duidelijk 1 kamer voor twee volwassenen voor 1 nacht geboekt voor € 87,- De eerste teleurstelling kwam direkt bij aankomst, of ik maar even een toeslag van € 25,- voor de tweede persoon wilde betalen. Ik heb uiteraard bezwaar gemaakt maar ja, het hotel staat midden in een negorij ver van alles vandaan, dus keuze heb je op dat moment niet meer. Bij uitchecken nogmaals aangekaart, tevergeefs. Het zwembadwater was zó koud dat je er gewoon niet in kon. De algemene staat van onderhoud is al zeker enkele jaren niet meer onderhouden.
