Guest Reviews
- Leo (6/5): - Nice place to stay!
- Kenneth (10/5): - This hotel has lovely views and serried an exceptional breakfast
- Jocelyn (6/5): - There was a karaoke bar or disco bar beside the hotel and it was very noisy during our stay and that we can’t sleep. If you don’t have car, the area is very inconvenient as you only will take taxi to go around the town area.
- Reynaldo (6/5): - The Hoka Brew restaurant within the property was very good. It offers a nice variety of dishes.
Their coffees tasted really good. Staff were friendly too.
Cleanliness of the property needs to improve. The towels were already worn out and some were even stained. Little cockroaches were seen in our room.
Noise from the outside halls can be heard inside the rooms.
- Benedict Genesis (2/5): - You need to improve your services to your guests. Rooms it's not Clean, still lots of dust. Staff too noise specifically if they are in the hallway. Bathrooms shower needs to put shower door specifically if you are using glass cover. Towels need to be white not dirty white. Guests request Clean the room Staff need to clean the room and change the all sheets. Not just cover back without change. Be honest for three days i stay in your hotel, i got beaten by bed bug's
- Verified traveler (2/5): Cheap Hotel/Customer Service - We asked the front desk and staff for hot water and if we can lend plates, cups and cutlery’s. They told us that they will bring it to the room, we haven’t received anything from them. Asked again, and still no one accommodated us. Very disappointed. Also I would like to comment on the towels coz it looks like it was not properly washed. It’s okay to reuse bath towels however they should at least bleach them or use something to remove the stains and dirt. We stayed 2 days in the hotel but we were only given 2 bottles of water. The sink and the drainage is barado. Ok

- judgeo233 (4/5): Okay na sana. Kaso, may kanin sa tinidor. - A find this hotel amazing because they promote the heritage of Baguio, and its artists.
Experience wise there are of course good and bad.
Good:
1. The staff in the reception are very welcoming and provided complete details for our stay.
2. The lobby’s are clean thank you to kuya.
3. The overall interior of the Hotel is excellent.
4. Free shuttle going to the bus station.
Bad: (HOKA BREW)
1. During our dinner we got a dirty utensils. (There is a rice on the middle of the fork. YUCK)
2. Before serving our plates, the staff wiped our plates with her hands. (YUCK)
3. We had to get our food from the counter because no one is around to serve it. Sus.
4. The waiter that served us was on a rush. Almost leaving while we are ordering. (We were asking few questions, she was very cold lol)
5. The kitchen was very visible from the customers. And I saw this one kitchen guy who sneezed without any protection/face mask, and wiped his nose then continued cooking. (Sobrang dugyot)
Overall. I find this hotel nice really but the staff really needs retraining. (Customer service and food safety)
- Jessie (8/5): - There should be a complimentary breakfast for online booking.
- Alex (2/5): It's not worth it. - The room was not yet ready when we checked in at 17 (5pm), three hours after our check-in time. We even called ahead earlier for a possible early check-in and on the phone confirmed that the room would be ready at 13:30 (1:30pm). Staff was neither friendly nor helpful stating their policy to be either check in at 14 or 17, which is not according to the information provided on the listing nor in the booking confimration.
Rooms are clean-ish, but very worn and bathroom was scaly, shower head was very grimey.
Very noisy area, live music, nightclub, dogs barking, and chickens. It was hard to sleep with all that noise during the entire night.
- Manny (6/5): - noisy with a lot of household doing karaokes
- Wilbert (8/5): - The best
- jonarda331 (10/5): Perfect and Easy - We sincerely appreciate your hospitality in accommodating our team during our stay. Everything went exceptionally smoothly, from check-in to check-out. The culinary experience exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food.
Furthermore, we'd like to express our gratitude for your flexibility and efficiency in handling our abrupt booking. Your team's responsiveness and willingness to assist were truly commendable.
Overall, our experience at your hotel was outstanding, and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for making our stay memorable and hassle-free!
- Robert (4/5): - This property has a very small room. You can hardly walk around your bed. You don't have anywhere to place luggage. The floor towel in the bathroom is so dark. I assume they ere washed at one point. The dining is alright. Staffs needs to be trained in customer service. Hardly a smiling face. You have to chase them for a service. The security guard was great though. Very tight space for parking.
- Analiza (8/5): - Best place to stay when playing golf in Pinewoods Golfcourse
- Verified traveler (10/5): Baguio's hidden gem! - Our stay was amazing! Staffs are all friendly from the security guard to the front desk, housekeeping, and room service! They have a good selection of food in Hoka -their on-site restaurant! The room was amazing with the mountain view! Will definitely stay again!
- harvey (6/5): - Its good for the $$ but the rooms are old, walls are moist damaged but the Hoka Restaurant was good!👍
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel has the potential to be a comfortable one but unfortunately our room was handed over to us uncleaned. The floor of the entire room was filthy. I am saying this without any exaggeration and to support this, I have included a photo of the bottom of the complimentary slippers. It was all white and only used inside the room. Another issue was lack of interest by the restaurant staff. We waited for a while for the waiter to take our order until my mom decided to call him as there was no sign that he would comeback to us. Having said this the food was nice and good value for money.
- 820dewic (6/5): Good staff, budget-friendly hotel - PROS:
1. Parking is a bit tight but it is covered and manned by a friendly guard who always assists. they also keep the gate to the parking closed at night but can open for guests as needed.
2. if you plan to commute, you can easily hail a taxi from its location
3. smoking area is within the parking lot area
4. very friendly staff, they address requests very quickly and are always smiling.
5. room has airconditioning, bed and sheets are comfortable, hotel looks ok in general
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT:
1. there is a strong bad odor coming from the cr (i dont know if this is for all but our room is at the 3rd floor)
We tried to request for a room change but the hotel was fully booked
they did try to assist by spraying the restroom with chemicals and putting an air freshener but it didnt help with the smell
2. breakfast was free and comes with the room but it was just okay nothing spectular and most of it was cold. it’s served buffet style on weekends but on weekday it’s plated. it took them almost an hr to serve us our plated breakfast and the food was very cold.
overall, for the price i think this hotel is good you just need to manage your expections and make sure u request a room that doesnt have a smelly toilet.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - When booking, it shows that the room is airconditioned, however upon arriving at the hotel I learned that I was given a non-airconditioned room... I had to upgrade and pay more than what was listed in the app, the hotel staff told me that I should have called the property first to confirm... The property seemed to be not maintained well.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The place is outdated and lacked warmth from the staff. Didn't take any photos.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very accommodating and staff is nice. The mountain view is breathtaking, the breakfast doesn't start until 10am which I found a little disappointing especially if you're thinking of checking out early and wanting something to eat, so I recommend adding the breakfast inclusion in your itinerary and booking.
- Matthew (10/5): - The live band on the weekends was amazing and a fun little show to watch while hanging out in your bedtime clothes!
- mary (10/5): - the staff are nice the hotel is clean but the food is not good
- JAMIE MARIE M (10/5): Short stay - We just had a short stay, but Hotel accommodation is superb. We are going to book in this hotel again
- Maribel (6/5): - Hotel is located at Marcos Highway, easy to find if you are taking that route. Away from tourists spots. The room/bed was comfortable. No AC in the room maybe due to cold weather. The restaurant upstairs served delicious food, big portion & at reasonable price. Stayed 3 nights & ate dinner there, always full of customers. Customer service was poor, took a long time to get our food, you have to pay for to go box if you have left over food & when they run out of table napkins, we were given toilet tissue. Management needs to provide food service training to the waiters/waitresses to please customers.
- Glenda (2/5): - Not enough parking space. Not enough amenities, room stinks, towels are very dingy/off white, staff doesn't reply right away when needed.
- Sherry (10/5): - If you are visiting Baguio with your own car to explore, this place is for you, Everything is excellent except ofcourse it’s a bit far to the tourists places, but like what i said if u have your own car this place is for you.
- Maribel (8/5): Mountain view amazing - The mountain view is wonderful!
- Mercury Narlita (6/5): - They will not allow you to check in early even if the room is already available. They asked me to pay an early check in fee. Check in is at 2pm and i came at 12 noon) Not unlike other 4-5 star hotel they dont make their guest wait till 2 pm to check in.
- AleMarPar (4/5): Poor Customer Support - Tried contacting them to ask some questions about events, only to get hung up on after one second! What kind of service does that? Simply horrible! It didn't help their case when I tried calling a third time and the line was unattended at that point. Not busy, not unreachable, UNATTENDED. Fix your customer service and support if you want people to have a good opinion on your establishment as a whole.
- Jonas L. (10/5): - Really good experience overall. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful, the shower was big and had plenty of hot water and the bed was European standard.
Beautiful view from the restaurant.
So no complaints from me, would definitely come here again!
Thanks
- CoolMD (2/5): Worst Boutique Hotel!!!! - This was recommended to my husband. So instead of luxury hotels in Baguio, we decided to try this since they have the Platinum suite (2 bedrooms) that was great to accommodate 6 pax. With the friendly reservation staff Ms Mirz, I was excited. However, to my extreme disappointment, albeit good thing I was well prepared for COVID-19 IPC practices (UV lights, Chlorox wipes and Lysol spray), the room was so DIRTY (as in!!! The floor was sticky!!!). I mopped the floors with lysol solution personally, you can see the dirt. The glass mirror was wiped and consumed a bottle of 80pcs wipes. The granite top was dirt black!!!
The worst thing, despite those findings, I did not voice out my frustrations and tolerated. However, on our second day, worst buffet breakfast ever! I reserved 6 am for the table we used the first day. And because, I saw a table with reservations prior. When we went to Hoka Brew, the personnel said, that there was no call with a very rude cashier girl infront of us. Worst front desk personnel DAVID (or trainee) when I called the attention and have the appropriate actions, he lied many times telling us that no manager on duty and he even doesn’t know the management office. He told us that the Hoka Brew management (under the same management of the hotel, not a concessionaire) was not responding to any of his calls. My husband even talked to the owner Ms Mel Marquez. Nevertheless, we will NOT definitely go back with all the WORST experiences.
- Katherine (10/5): - A bit far from the city centre
- John (8/5): Podium hotel - The hotel staff were very accommodating and very pleasant. The free breakfast buffet was great and had a good variety every day it changed. The room was a nice size for the 5 people that were staying there. There was a bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The bed was very comfortable but the sofa sleeper was like sleeping on a pile of rocks on the top of a board. I don't know how the sofa sleeper could be any more uncomfortable. I was on the 5th floor and all I heard was a loud banging noise continuously throughout the night making it very hard to sleep. I very much liked the hotel except for the 2 problems I spoke negatively about. Fix those problems and this hotel is first class all the way.
- S9507ZRjosephs (10/5): Highly recommended - Very friendly and accommodating staff.. experience was excellent even if there were power outages in the area, the hotel was well prepared.. they have nice modern facilities as well...and the price is reasonable.. I highly recommend this hotel..
- Orland Gianne Franko (10/5): - There's a room smell. Possibly from the drainage.
- Mary Jane (10/5): - Its a great experience. The staffs are definitely accommodating.
- rozlii (2/5): Worst hotel ever! Not recommended if you want to relax and don’t want to ruin your stay!! - This is by far the worst hotel ever!!! Cleanliness, friendliness, restaurant, time management, parking, service, all of these are red flags!!! They will even make you pay for a damage you didn’t do. Very unorganised!!! We got two rooms, on is big and the other one is their small room for 5 days!! Let me all give you a summary:
Time management and cleanliness: late check in, they are saying that they’re still cleaning the room, around 2pm to 3pm for 507, then for 106 it is already clean, when we went inside to 106 room, dust is floating in the air, the desks, phone, windows are all dusty!! You can even write your name on the thick dust, the mirrors are wiped with dirty rugs that makes it super blurred. Toilet bowl had a lot of black stains, floor is so dirty and dusty, bathroom has yellow stains (stains that appear when not cleaned properly), it smelled so bad in the bathroom, curtain is dusty, the only clean was the bed that was just made. So we had to inform the front desk and they called housekeeping, so we had to go again in the lobby and have it cleaned since my fiance has asthma we can’t stay there with that situation. Take note we are really tired. We are already on the road by 5am so we are hoping to rest. Then for the other room 507, the one that “they are still cleaning”, it was still dirty, floor is dirty, counter is dusty, there are even stains on the wall, again, the only thing they cleaned was the linens. All of us were able to relax almost 4pm. It’s pandemic and they are saying that their rooms are sanitised but from what we saw, it is far from being clean.
Parking: when we arrive the parking attendant was friendly, we had two cars, he made us parked on in front of the other so we wont be disturbing anyone or we wont be disturbed if someone needs to go out, the parking was okay but toxic since that you need to get up and move your car if the other one is going out. Unfortunately that one attendant, just resigned it was his last two days when we arrived. Then we used one car and went around with my family, when we came back, there was someone parked on our old slot even if there is a lot more slots, actually it was okay but I just suggested and just informed the guard nicely, that we are together with the other car and if possible they can make us park there instead if there are more slots left, this is to prevent disturbing the one in front or us being disturbed, he was so rude, he said a lot of things that came out of nowhere and the way he talked was really unprofessional. So I just ignored and said “okay po”. They are stating the first come first serve. They have a really small parking slots yet they don’t prioritise those who are checked in and you will share your parking for those who are only eating in their restaurant. So for example parking slot is full, and you are checked in and want to rest they will make you come back later when one is already available. Then if you are parked and resting or sleeping then the one behind you needs to go out, you have to get up and move your car. In short you won’t be able to rest in peace as well.
Friendliness: unlike other hotels, even cheaper ones, they are friendly and will greet you. People here don’t. The only one who is friendly is the kuya who is cleaning the lobby, the rest noooo.
Restaurant: they had choices for complimentary breakfast but most of the choices are not available. Sometimes only 3 from the menu are available. Staff in the restaurant are unfriendly as well, they will make you wait for long, then if you ask them something they tend to say “wait lang”, with a rude tone. Aside from having few choices since it is unavailable, they will make you wait for almost an hour just to be able to have breakfast!! Which is a waste of our time since we got up early so we can go in lots of places for the day.
Service: they only give one key card so if one of you is out and one is sleeping, you must ask front desk to open the door for you. There was this one time when we can’t get in, their cards are also not working. This is late night, so we had to stay out of the room and wait for them, the door where you scan your card has low battery so it won’t read any cards anymore. They had to find the key of the door so we stayed outside longer. They said that they will have it fixed that night, the next day, it was still not fixed!!! And we had to inform FD again!!! And they had no idea what happened!! Their shower is broken. They are missing a lightbulb in our room. I don’t know what’s in the mind of this hotel’s management to have this kind of service.
Then last but not the least, they made us pay for a damage we didn’t do!!!
As you all know this is a pet friendly hotel, I am carrying a toy poodle, they saw scratches on the door, deeeep scratches and a lot, where only a bigger dog can do!!! And a toy poodle can’t do for a few minutes!! First of all, we’ve been to a lot of hotels with our baby since we love to travel, there was never an instance that we had this kind of issue. Mind you that we were leaving her longer at the other hotels. Never, there was never a scratch. She doesn’t even do that on our home. In short she doesn’t scratch at all and even if she does, it won’t be that deep and that many!!!
Second, for heaven’s sake there was only one time we left her alone and she was in the cage!! I had to go to a dentist so we cant bring her, but we came back for her afterwards. The only time that she was left there alone was when we needed to smoke which is not more than 10 minutes!!
We asked them when was this (it was our third day when they reported this to us), they said “the room service heard it this afternoon”, but we were out the whole day with our dog, how can that happen? So they didn’t say anything after that. The next morning our fourth day we went to FD to ask about this and their story changed!! 🤣🤣 stating that it was the other day which was our second day!! I was asking for the time but they can’t tell us. Since they are preventing to have another mistake. (Fyi on the second day, that was the time I went to dentist in the morning and went back asap to get her and she was in a cage).
Also, if she really loves scratching, how come when the time that we couldn’t get in and she was inside and they were fixing the door, they didn’t even heard a scratch?? Nor a bark??? Then they will blame us for this?? How many customers are you going to blame and make them pay for this??? They are stating that they always check and have a good maintenance. Woooow you didn’t even know that your shower is broken, nor you have missing bulbs. Then you’re going to tell us that you always check your rooms and have it maintained??? Really ahh??
So they knew about this and was stressing us on our third day palang ahhh.. so the fourth day I asked to talk to the manager to settle this. But I didn’t hear from them. Then the last day, check out day, they were forcing us to pay for this damage!! And if not, we have to wait for the police report to be processed and wait for the investigation like WTF really? They will waste our time again!!! We had a lot of things to do at home after our vacay and we can’t afford to wait and drive late since we are preventing the traffic. So they said that if we want to settle it’s just 2k then we asked them to compensate for the late check in etc, they said that it was supposed to be 3k and that is already the compensation. Wooooww, a question here, why are they settling this on our last day?? On our fourth day we had the whole day to settle, but the manager didn’t even confront us on that day even if we already asked in the morning?? Just so you know, any of the managers or supervisors didn’t even showed up on our last day!! Hope you guys are happy on your kickbacks 😊 I’m just hoping that no one will be a victim on this hotel.
- adnanthegreat (2/5): Disgusting - Don’t book in this hotel if you value your money and time. Had the worst experience in this hotel.
1. Check in was suppose to be 2pm but was checked in at 4:30. They lied when they told us that they were still cleaning the room. Upon checkin in, the room was covered in dust.
2. Breakfast choice was less than 10 but in reality they only have 1 or 2 choice available. The worst part? They’ll make you wait for 1 hour for a freaking omelette.
3. Hot and cold shower doesn’t function. It’s either hot as hell or freezing cold.
4. Parking attendant at night was freaking rude.
5. Staff at the restaurant kept on saying “wait lang” when you ask something. You’ll have to ask at least 5 times before they give you something.
6. Bathroom fixtures are broken, Shower head was spraying all over the place, Toilet has black stains and bathroom tiles have molds. Eww
7. Room smelled like mold particularly coming from the bathroom.
8. To top everything up, they’ll extort you with money. They blamed our dog for the scratches in the door which looked very old. Our dog was with us the whole time and the only time we left her alone, we always put her in the cage. They asked for 2,000 pesos for the damages and when we refused to pay? They threatened to call the police. The funny thing is they kept changing their story the whole time. They claimed they heard the scratches on our 3rd day, when we told them we aren't around the whole day that day, they changed it to our 2nd day. I was asking for a report but all they can provide was hearsay. They also told us that we were the only ones that checked in to that room with a dog, and a few moments later they found out that someone previously checked in with a dog. They can’t even keep their facts straight.
This hotel is a joke and a waste of money
- amelovess (6/5): There are lots of things to improve! - Stayed for overnight. We arrived around 3:10pm in the hotel. I thought our room is ready but surprisingly our room is not yet ready. Their standard check in time is at 2pm but we checked in around 3:49pm.
Room doesn't have emergency evacuation plan and fire extinguisher as well.
Upon checkout no one is at the front desk. If the Housekeeping didn't called Almira, she will not be there.
Parking space is very limited but kuya guard is very accommodating and kind.
There are lots of rooms for improvements that needs corrective action from the management.
- DdB40 (2/5): Disappointed… - CLEANLINESS
The lobby looks clean but once you enter the elevator and the room, you will see a lot of signs that the place is not well maintained. I had to buy cleaning materials just so we feel safe during our stay.
They may not have enough manpower due to business levels but with the ongoing pandemic, safety should be our top priority. They choose to operate then they should at least have the basic safety measures in place. Scary…
RESTAURANT
Another thing, the restaurant opened late so in house guests are waiting to get served. We saw 2 TMs came in turns out they were late that is why someone had to cover.
LOCATION
The place is far as well
You have to spend minimum P120 per trip just to go to SM. At night, it is hard to get a cab.
STAFF
Mario, the housekeeper, is polite and attentive.
The ones by the reception were also nice.
- hANNgryyy (2/5): Worst experience dealing with this hotel - If there is a negative star, that would be the rate I will give this hotel. I booked my stay months ago for a family vacation this December through Agoda. I registered for the Baguio Visita pass, but it remained in pending status for days, so I sent an email, texted, and finally called the hotel because they took so long to respond. I was then informed that the rate in Agoda when I booked had an error, it should be 2K higher per night, take note this is an error on their and Agoda's part. So the person I spoke to who was nonchalant, unapologetic and unaccomodating told me to cancel my booking, then rebook again via Agoda. They said they will block the dates in their system so no one else can book. Take note: If I had not contacted them, they would not even bother to advise me of this error. So after the call, I texted them a few hours later to ask 1. What if the rate was higher in Agoda than the 2K+ rate, will they refund me the excess? 2. Why can't I just book my stay with them directly and cancel the Agoda booking? CRICKETS. NO RESPONSE. So I cancelled my Agoda booking and lo and behold, the dates are already sold out when I tried to rebook. And of course, as expected, no response when I tried to contact them. Thank you Podium Boutique Hotel for ruining our long-awaited holiday vacation. Absolutely worst experience booking this hotel. I hope no one else goes through this same experience.
- kimgeee (6/5): Dirty unit - This is my second review for Podium Botique Hotel. The first time was last 2019. We decided to book again here given that we had a good experience before.
Pros:
1. Staff members are still very kind, corteous, and pleasant to deal with.
2. Complimentary breakfast are still very yummy.
3. Both parking attendants are very kind. You just have to treat them with respect. Don't boss them around.
4. We booked a 2bedroom unit and I was surprised that the 2nd room, tho without a view, is big! :) From the photos, I thought my kids will feel too enclosed.
5. There's a dishwashing soap and sponge. That's good!
Cons:
1. Our unit was dirty. We found a used bottle under a sofa bed, a toothbrush (opened, not sure if it was used) on the bunkbed, a 5peso coin again on the bunkbed. The floor was super dusty.
Because of the pandemic, this is really a huge issue for us. That just means that rooms weren't cleaned thorougly and sanitized. We also have a baby with us so having a clean accommodation is a must.
I know this is not a 5star hotel, but isn't cleaning the units thoroughly after every guests important?
We had to request to have it cleaned again (the next day since we dont want to be around when they clean our unit) and change all the sheets. They did, but the floor was still dusty. I just didnt make a fuss out of it and cleaned it myself.
The head board of the bed is super dusty too.
I wonder if the telephone was cleaned too.
2. The mini ref looks and smells moldy. We still used it for the bottled waters but please, clean it!!
3. There was a funky smell coming out of the bathroom.
4. Please replace your towels with new ones.
5. Had to request shampoos. All we were given were soaps.
6. Since our room, 507, has sliding windows facing the hall way, we had to remind other guests and their children to keep their voices down.
7. Also, the bathroom is way smaller than the unit we booked 2 years ago.
----
Overall, given the situation now, please make sure that your rooms are cleaned. I heard a lot of good things about the owners (specially how theh treat their employees) and I'm sure they wouldn't want to have a reputation of having a filthy hotel.
- STAFTRAVELLER (6/5): Very nice view BUT - Book a room for 5 Pax and the Suite was adequate but breakfast was forgettable and you have to pay extra for fried egg. Given one roll of toilet tissue each time and we requested for one a few times and just given up after and got our own at 7 eleven.
Would certainly not go back.
- 162marissab (10/5): Nice room and good food! - We booked a gold room for 4.
friendly receptionists. helpful guards.
we were also invited to spend new years eve at the second floor. they served pares, dinuguan with puto, cake, and rice. we just want to say thank you. food was delicious.
we will surely stay at this hotel again.
- 736garryg (10/5): Spectacular Views and warm hospitality in Baguio - Our rooms have one of the most spectacular views of Baguio. I hardly looked at the TV and rather focused on the views of Baguio at night or day. Waking up to sunrise is something spectacular.
The team was warm and very welcoming. Food are value for money. Its a great place to stay and relax, away from the hustle and bustle that can embrace Baguio City.
Attractions are a ride away if you want but for me the location is just right like the nostalgic Bagiuo I remember.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - amazing view. That’s all i can say
- bbazor69 (6/5): Mongolian Buffet - Not as good as before. In an effort to make the vegetables last longer, they are soaking in water. Frequently, there is a puddle of water at the bottom of the bowl, after they are cooked and the sauce does not coat the vegetables. It is not as good anymore because they soak the vegetables.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I liked the design , it is very cozy & modern with a twist of the old . Ample space for group chatting since all floors has its own living areas. Coffee shop food is good . Hotel personnel are very accommodating .
- kimgeee (10/5): Rainy Day Visit. Worth the Price! - We love the place and we'll sure stay here when we get back in Baguio.
PROs:
1. The bed is nice as well as the pillows.
2. We had a very late check-in and all went well. I guess you really just have to treat staff members with respect and kindness and they'll reciprocate. Always always remember that! :)
3. They have hot and cold shower!
4. The view from the room is nice. I mean you'll see houses and the highway but, it's still nice... you won't even see it that much because of the thick fog.
5. They accept credit cards! Yey!
6. Smoking area is in the 2nd floor.
7. Free parking! You'll see this in cons too.
8. Breakfast is good to! Tried the tapa, garlic omellete and the baguio longa.
CONs:
1. Since it's free parking, it's a first come, first served basis. If you'll read one of the comments below, if someone needs to go, you'll have to go down and move your car yourself. Luckily, we didn't experience this. The space is also limited.
2. Housekeeping. So we asked to have the bathroom cleaned because of the leak coming out of the shower. The staff dried the floor but didn't replace the bath mat. We had to call again to have it replaced and throw the trash.
3. There's only one trash can and it's in the bathroom.
4. We had to call housekeeping again as there's no spoon in our room.
5. They don't replenish your water bottles unless you ask for it.
The cons are just minor and can be improved. Overall, the whole place is nice and like I said, we'll stay here again. :)
- cayres (10/5): Great place to stay - My wife and family stayed here on my first visit to Baguio . Very nice location up on the hills with magnificent views. The room is very comfortable . Very nice to have a hot shower again. There is a restaurant on the second floor that serves craft beer and complementary breakfast . Very friendly staff. Parking garage down stairs
- Verified traveler (8/5): The price is okay but it nice to have an aircon ro - Its good...im enjoying my stay!!!the food is great
- francis andrew eugene (10/5): Business and Pleasure - We had a wonderful stay. Food was very good. Nice view of Baguio at night from the restaurant. Craft beer was a bonus. Overall, real value for money!
- kattthlee (8/5): Worth it for the price - We stayed at their Family Suite for 3 days and 2 nights. The reception area and common lounges are well-designed with paintings and sofas. The elevator is working perfectly and the parking lot at the basement area is spacious enough. The room we booked is actually spacious and we loved how neat and complete the toiletries are. My concern is that the rooms are not soundproofed. We could hear other people's business inside their room just by walking in the hallway. We weren't able to enjoy the TV because Sky Cable was acting up at that time. As for our breakfast, we loved their Baguio Longaniza! For our room, our concern was there was only 1 aircon and it is in the master bedroom. Not really a big deal though since the weather in Baguio is nice. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It is too far from town and nothing there makes it worthwhile the waiting and price of taxis. Very minimal breakfast and the restaurant will often close for private events
- Grace (8/5): - Nice and clean hotel
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is nice and clean, the downside is that their srvings for breakfast is not enough, although good for people who are on diet. It did not make us full ready to tackle iur busy schedule for our tour in Baguio. We had to find another restaurant to have our “real breakfast”.
- jhoannaaledam (4/5): Ok - The staff were friendly as. We checked in last January 3 and the room was good everything was okay and I booked another room the next day and everything was all good apart from the room because the room was so messy. They let us checked in without checking the room if it was clean or not. So unprofessional. When you check in a hotel you expect that everything is up to a standard of what you pay for but this is so disappointing. But aside from that everything is okay and oh yeah the elevator was broken too.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I did not like the condition of the room. Old condition and poor upkeep. No amenities.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was in old condition, poor upkeeep, no amenities, restaurant food was terrible.
- Ryan (8/5): - The best part of this hotel is their restaurant, Hoka Brew. Awesome food. Staffs are nice and accomodating. Nice mountain view. Needs improvement with cleanliness since the bathroom have somewhat foul smell. No fan to at least circulate room air. No triple wall outlet for laptop charging nor a converter available.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - inflexible on breakfast arrangement, bit far from town, but other than that all okay.
- Barbra (10/5): The Podium At it’s finest - It was a relaxing trip to Baguio🚗😉
The Podium is very accessible to all points of the tourist spots in the city. Love the view of the mountain. The food and ambiance of the restaurant were exceptionally great. Overall, the Podium is highly recommendable!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Dusty and small - The room was dusty on arrival and small. Otherwise the hotel was good. The sqm was not provided in the room information, it would be better for both sides if it was to avoid dissatisfied clients.
- Maria Melissa (8/5): - Happy about a well deserved staycation despite the nonstop rain. Good food to warm up the cold days.
- Verified traveler (8/5): The Podium Boutique Hotel Stay - There's a loud noise coming from their heater machine which is near our room
- Maria Melissa (8/5): Cool Hotel - Ok so far. Except for the toiletries
