• Heili (9/5): Excellent stay in a central location! Can recommend to families. - The flat was really quiet, super central and had all amenities. The area was safe and clean. There was a little grocery shop just 30 meters from the building that was open 24/7 and was very convenient. Sofa-bed was good for sleeping for our teenagers (with a proper mattress), wifi worked fine, coffee machine made good espresso... really nothing bad to say at all. The interior design cosyness could be improved (it was a little bit under-decorated), hence -1 point from maximum available, but for a 1-week stay really not an issue.

Hay una instalación de ascensor pero no funciona. Tienes que subir escaleras algo incómodas hasta la 2 planta. Sofá cama incómodo para adultos. No te informan antes de reservar por Booking que te retienen 200 euros de fianza días antes de llegar, y no me la han devuelto hasta 3 días después de salir, y porque he preguntado cuándo me la iban a devolver.

Poderia dar mais atenção em alguns detalhes, como instruções de uso do cooktop, lava-louças e lava-roupas. Poderiam fornecer também itens simples como esponja para lavar louça, e vassoura, itens que facilitam quando uma família se hospeda por 7 ou mais dias.

• Silvia Regina (9/5): Muito boa estadia, recomendo! - Localização excelente, cama confortável, limpo. O apartamento é ótimo, tudo novinho, chuveiro ótimo, com box novo, cozinha com utensílios. Tem supermercados e restaurantes perto, região muito boa. Para encontrar qual era o apartamento dentro do prédio, foi um pouco difícil com malas. Tem que entrar no prédio atravessar até o final, vai ter uma escada de ferro e madeira e um elevador bem antigo.

Il riscaldamento è tramite climatizzatore che riscaldava molto lentamente l'ambiente. Bisognava tenerlo acceso di notte per non avere freddo ed era rumoroso. Con 2 climatizzatori accesi più il phon è saltata la corrente e fino a quando l'assistenza ci ha detto come ripristinarla abbiamo passato un'oretta al freddo.

The location of the apartment is at the junction of the road, and a 24/7 supermarket. Evening until midnight and early morning, there are noise from car horns, police car alarms and junk people. The isolation of the apartment is not good and we could not sleep well at night.

Spavaća soba gleda na lijepo unutarnje dvorište i vrlo je tiho i mirno za spavanje.Velika preporuka za ovaj objekat. Malo kompliciranija online prijava i potpisivanje ugovora i naplata pologa sa računa koji moraš dati unaprijed i onda čekati neko vrijeme da novac vrate na račun. Ali u konačnici treba razumjeti politiku vlasnika koji se na taj način štiti od neodgovornih gostiju.

• Martin (9/5): Nice apartment near Plaza Mayor - Very nice apartment close to a metro station & a few minutes walk from Plaza Major. Plenty of options for bars & restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean & comfortable. The host was not good at answering messages either through Booking.Com or WhatsApp, therefore we were unable to leave our bags before check-in. A reply to messages would have been helpful. The entry App was intermittent so needed to use the supplied keys on a few occasions. Not the hosts fault, but there are currently roadworks outside the apartment. (July 2025)

The location is very central, making it easy to explore the city on foot, yet surprisingly quiet – not too much street noise. The space was extremely clean and modern, with high-quality furniture and appliances throughout. The building itself is quiet and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. A minor complaint as everything else was superb. Road works in the entire street during our stay but didn’t impact too much . Not anybody’s fault, just one of those things.

The bedroom is separate from the main kitchen and living room and has a washing machine. You’re expected to provide your own toilet paper and other amenities (dish, dishwasher and laundry soap) when you run out. We were advised by management that we had to purchase these items when we ran out of the toilet paper, which is unacceptable as a traveller. On three separate occasions I got no response via Booking.com (e.g. Can you please confirm Mad Flats is Madrid Centric Suites?, Why do you need my Visa and security code again since I had already paid in full?) from the property manager. There was no indication that the apartment was managed by Mad Flats vs. Madrid Centric Suites and we thought we may have been scammed. We did some research to understand who we were dealing with despite our unanswered questions.

Being forced to pay a late check in fee in cash 50 euro for being 10 minutes late is t - Location The thing that bothered me the most as a season, traveled person is the fact that we arrive 10 minutes late from the last free check-in time. The person who checked us in said that she needed €50 in cash! I guess what sad me the most is it was just 10 minutes in mind you the apartment is located in the construction zone so the TAXI cannot even approach it so we had to walk with our bags a whole block so beware of that. Please note that having a human receiving, you is completely unnecessary. We have traveled all over the world and just follow the instructions to check in.. the check-in is all digital. My feedback would be to give customers the choice to have a human waiting for them after 11 PM or not. Being forced to pay €50 for a complete unnecessary interaction left me with a sour feeling. Also, in my opinion to make this legitimate it should be going through booking and being charged to your credit card rather than demanding to be paid in cash. Another aggravator is we found hairs on the pillows of the sofa bed!!!! - this means they don’t clean the pillows often. At least the pillowcases were clean, so we proceeded to use those to cover the pillows. The sofa bed is completely uncomfortable. I would not recommend that for two adults to sleep on. It is super painful. The location of the apartment is great, but sadly, you can hear people walking probably on the staircase or people chatting loud in the courtyard. If you truly want a restful night this is bothersome. The bathroom door that separates the only bathroom from the living room does not slide properly so you can get locked in that restroom. Lastly, in the main master bedroom, the air conditioner started dripping all night.
• Colin (10/5): Return trip to Madrid - Well appointed very comfortable unit. Close to the metro and to shops. A short walk to Plaza Major which has many eateries. Would use again if we had another extended stay in Madrd. Slight communication mix up (I was waiting on an email when they were using whatsApp) assuming I actually had a phone with data connection so I could download an App to operate the doors. The lack of condiments and an oven mitt made doing anything more than just heating something up a chore. Understand this might be complex to manage but a can of spray oil would have been useful.

• Carolina (5/5): Passable - The location is good, near plaza Mayor and other attractions. There is a place where they can storage your luggage. The building was too old and the elevator looked quite unsafe. The apartment didnt look so new and beautiful like in the pictures. We were four people and we had only one shower gel and one soap in the bathroom. Coffee and sugar for two people. The bedsheets had some hairs and the sofa was very uncomfortable. The street was under repairing so it was very annoying to walk there with 4 luggages.

I only wish we had been informed of the major construction around the area and that the road in front of apartment was closed. We managed but were not sure if an alternate entrance was available. We had to literally interrupt the workers to allow us to pass and enter their work zone. Maybe not a big deal for them but prob wouldn’t fly back home lol. Since the street was closed, the taxi driver had to drop us off at the end of the street.

• Roghieh (7/5): Good - good location,very spacious.clean.bed in the bedroom comfortable and clean .good facilities .the building has elevator .2 big supermarket and hyper markets near to the appartment .very close to metro station they only provided 1 mini shampoo and conditioner for 3 person for 3 nights and when we asked for more they said it s complimentary and can not provide more(which I have not seen such a thing during my trips to more than 40 -50 cities and countries in the world)they send us wrong appartment information and address ,so we lost some time and energy to settle the day we arrived(as there is so many appartments from different agencies and owners who live in the building).the wi-fi didn t work when we arrived so we had to send messages and ask somebody to come and fix it.the sofa bed was very very old (the middle of the sofa bed destroy your back because it s going to collapse).and while they had luggage storage ,the day of check out when I asked for their address to take my luggage to keep there ,they send my lockers close to the appartment which I had to pay and finally when I said they have mentioned they have luggage storage the staff accepted I took luggage to thier office.(however It seemed to me it was the fault of the staff not property owner).

• Salman (10/5): Best place in Spain! - Best apartment we stayed in Spain! I've stayed in 6 different locations, this was the best apartment of all. Location, right there at the Sol! Metro station is near by. Lidl and Carrefour are just downstairs. This is the only property that has two TVs both smart, nice layout, bathroom has the vent, washer, dishwasher, and everything you'd need for a nice stay. Nothing about the property!

Everything was within walking distance. Communication with the managing personnel was established at a high level. Bottom line - everything was great. Highly recommended. The property was within a beautiful building, well maintained, clean and welcoming. The use of a coffee machine was a bonus, but only 2 coffee pods were supplied! This seemed a bit frugal especially as our booking was for a family of 3 adults staying for 4 days.

• Cheng (10/5): Wonderful stay for family of four in Madrid - The host was very responsive and helpful! Easy check-in prior to arrival. We needed to download an app to access the front door and the apartment door. Followed the instructions and had no issue. Location wise, great! We didn't use the train as we walked everywhere! Royal palace 10 to 15 min walk. Museo del Prado also 15mins walk. Mind you, we were travelling with kids and walking sloooww. 24/7 grocer round the corner was very convenient. Lotsa restaurant nearby, too. Apartment wise, super comfy beds, and clean linens. Minimal noise at night. My kids slept on the sofa bed and was comfy for them as well. Elevator available, so you don't need to worry about carrying luggage upstairs. Washing machine a great big fat bonus! Overall I had a wonderful stay here :) Shower water is very hot, so be careful! If there's a better indicator to adjust the temperature will be great! The shower holder is quite loose, causing the shower head to slide downwards as you shower. Tighten it up, and it shouldn't be a problem!

• Göknur (9/5): Superb - Odanın It was very good that the room was spacious and useful and had basic kitchen utensils. It was also very good that it was in a very central location. The building's elevator was faulty on the date we went.

• Kevin (10/5): Fabulous property and very good host communications. - Location was perfect, and the character building was everything we hoped it would be. Even the supermarket a short walk away. Nothing. It took us a little while to work on the app-lock but once we got it we were away.
• Ana (10/5): All in all, I recommend it! - The accommodation is great, the location is excellent and well-connected to everything. It’s much easier to explore the city in a shorter amount of time. The property itself is tidy, spacious, has plenty of windows, and everything is clean and well-maintained. The service is always available and considerate. The only downside is thwt the couch pillows aren’t comfortable for sleeping.
• Marcel (9/5): Superb - I love the place . Is perfect to travel with little kids. Unfortunately, i had a problem with the flight and had not so much time to enjoy as i wish
• Budhahi (7/5): Good - The property is convenient for a group of max 3 . Close to plaza mayor and many attraction points. I would recommend it for the price. First , the deposit blocked by them should be stated here in booking (250€) it took long to be released.. The entrance to the apartment weren’t very clear and there should be a video or pictures with the directions. One of the neighbors was very upset due to us knocking his door by mistake because we were confused . The lift in the building is so old and scary to use, but it served its purpose.
• Shelley (9/5): Perfect comfortable apartment in old building! - Great location! Very quiet. Comfortable bed. Grocery store across the street. Can walk to many attractions! Very good entry system! Stairways are dark and elevator is very old! Avoided it except for arrival and departure!
