Guest Reviews
- Daniel (6/5): - Great location and comfortable place. We didn’t have toiletries and no coffee. When asked for some capsules they never arrived. Is a good place but the attention to these details could improve.
Letti comodi. La pulizia buona ma leggermente da migliorare
- Roberta (10/5): - Ottima posizione, stanze belle e pulite.
- Primerano (10/5): - Posizione molto centrale
- Tiziana (8/5): Ottimo per una breve permanenza. - La proprietaria molto cortese e disponibile. La pulizia del locale.
- Nurbo (8/5): -
- Minicozzi (10/5): -
- Flavia (10/5): - Siamo state molto bene, torneremo sicuramente.
- Lorenzo (6/5): -
- serena (8/5): -
- Todaro (9/5): - Ben sistemata e pulita Nulla
- Roberto (6/5): -
- Antimo (10/5): -
- Federicopt (10/5): Tutto perfetto - Accoglienza e disponibilità.
Belle camere tutte nuove e pulite , molto funzionali con tutti i confort.
Posizione eccellente in pieno centro . Tutto veramente perfetto. Nulla da dire
- Mario (9/5): confort, ambiente e servizi buoni -
- Anni Maria (10/5): Really liked it and would come back again! - Lovely room with private toilet. The area is a bit noisy from the streets (mostly at dinner time) and thin walls between the neighbors, but im a light sleeper and it was alright. The room is beautiful and feels at home. Especially as an scandic person, I really appreciate the decor, colors and the small impact as snacks and fliers. Pictures and the room in real life is living up to its standard. The shower head was missing, but I also booked the room pretty last minut and stayed for a couple of nights. A staff worker came by one of the days to see if he could attach a new shower head, but tbh. I didn't mind. Staff worker was very nice and polite.
Gestione no comment.
- Tiziana (10/5): -
- Μάνος (3/5): Nice location - It’s in the center and the guy was very polite. The room was not ready at 15:00, it was ready at 18:00 and the lady cleaned it for 15’ minutes so she didn’t clean it good enough.
- Ylenia (10/5): -
- Natale (1/5): -
- Antonio (8/5): -
- Eleni (6/5): A bare minimum stay in Via Toledo - We spent 6 nights there and we really liked the location of the rooms which was in a central area Via Toledo. The room we had was kinda capacious. First of all, I would like to highlight that the way to get in this accommodation it’s in a slop or hill, it really depends on the way you’ll take. So it’s definitely not for people that they’re not really able to walk that much. When we first got there we didn’t have a full description of the steps we had to follow to get in and by luck it was a cleaning lady there that didn’t know English and was trying to communicate through signals. After we sent a text through booking we got told the steps we had to follow but we were already inside. Through our stay, our room was cleaned only 1 time and we actually stayed there for 6 nights. So bins were full and toilet papers almost finishing. The pillows were very rough but that’s not something we payed attention to the most. Also, in the majority of the mornings we were waking up from the noises we were hearing from the cleaning lady of the accommodation that was deciding she wants to talk on a call there. The signal and the WiFi it was also very bad, I don’t know how she was able to talk. We liked the location but the accommodation it was on bare minimum.
* The bathroom in the room we had is behind the bed and has no curtains or a glass door. We knew that it was placed on that position but not that it didn’t have anything to cover.

- Viscito (8/5): -
- Maria (5/5): - La posizione
- Yasmin (10/5): - Comoda, pulita, ordinata -
- Clara (8/5): Ottima posizione e stanza grande! - Stanza e bagno grande, ottima posizione e staff sempre disponibile.
- Francesca (9/5): -
- Grazia (7/5): -
- Maria (10/5): - La camera molto accogliente e pulita abbiamo dormito benissimo tutto perfetto.
- Gabriele (10/5): -
- Antoni (10/5): -
- Deanne (8/5): We enjoyed our stay! - Our room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning!
The agent was very responsive and gave us helpful detailed instructions on how to gain access.
We enjoyed being in the lively character-filled Spanish Quarter! Unfortunately the shower leaked badly and the coffee machine was broken - however I’m sure these will be fixed before the next guests arrive.
- Hanna (10/5): A great stay in a beautiful room with great location. - Perfect location, beutifully decorated room with big bathroom. I also enjoyed the small balcony where you can watch napoleateans do their everyday things and people walking by. Great place to stay! Everything was great.
- Ng (8/5): Very good - Location is quite good, walking distance to train station but uphill walk to property (about 10 min). Quite close to amenities. Friendly host. Attached bathroom though seems new and big, shower water sipped through causing entire bathroom to be wet. Kettle needs to be changed.
- Arosteguy (8/5): Nice, comfortable and well located - Since I have read the reviews I was already expecting some things. But I was glad that I didn't have any of the reported problems with the shower, for example. I had to change my room in the second day since there was a problem (i didn't find out what it was), but the process was very simple. Very nice and comfortable rooms and well located in Naples. Simple process of checkin and checkout, but no human beings involved on that. In the second room i stayed the wifi just worked if i sat next to the room door, so i would suggest an improvement on this. There is no luggage storage possibility for early checkin. Communication could be better. There was a big hill to reach the location, so i'd think twice every time i felt like going to the apartment in the middle of the day, even if it was well located, it felt a bit like vacation crossfit to go up there. Nothing dramatic, but watch out if you have any mobility issue.
- Karen (3/5): Not as expected - The style of the apartment and bathroom had character. We did not receive instructions to get in the apartment until we called, despite our earlier confirmation of arrival time. Standing in the rain waiting for instructions to download was not good customer service.
Additional items we were unhappy with:
No flexibility to leave luggage early.
The bathroom ceiling was so low that my husband (he is 5'11") had a hard time standing in it and showering was very difficult.
One bath, hand & face towel for two people.
One roll of toilet paper in the unit.
The bed was very uncomfortable; old sheets that didn't stay on the bed, the mattress had a depression in the centre (needed replacing), the mattress pad curled up on one side (clearly old and in need of replacement), the pillows uncomfortable. No warmer duvet or blanket in the room - given this was an Oct booking that would have been expected.
All chairs in the room were uncomfortable.
While there was a washer & dryer in the hallway outside of the room, it was in use the full time we were staying with what appeared to be sheets and towels.
- Anthea (5/5): I had a constant anxious feeling. - It was clean. Good bathroom and shower facilities. Comfortable bed. The kitchen area was outside the room (communal) and I was not aware of this. The kettle provided in the room was old and corroded meaning I was at risk of falling ill if used. I was also not aware that this was NOT a hotel with staff on site. I didn’t feel safe.
- Janina (6/5): Simple but quirky place to stay in Spanish Quarter - Quirky. Great location in the Spanish Quarter, close to the hustle & bustle of Naples and good size room! Amenities in the hallway (washing machine, microwave, coffee maker). As two female travellers, we felt save here. Plenty of spaces & mirrors for us to get ready! The road is noisy but the double-glazed windows blocked this out and we slept well. Someone commented they had no hot water, this was not an issue for us, although it did take a bit of time to warm up.
Short walk away from Toledo Metro station (~15min from the Central Station) but be aware the walk is uphill! Arrival experience could have been better. Early check-in was not possible. The sign outside is tiny and easily missed. Instructions were only sent once requested when we were already at the property (24 or even just 12hr before arrival without having to prompt the host would be much better) which was difficult to receive as we had trouble with reception. Some nice neighbours let us through the gate of the property to help and it was still not obvious where to actually go / what to do. Once the instructions came through it was easy.
Change of linen & towels is charged extra - we only stayed 3 nights so were fine with not having these changed but something to be aware of.
It's a very anonymous place, just pick up the keys in a locked box and leave them into the room when you go. No idea who I was messaging with, no name was ever included. We'd met some lovely people on our travels welcoming us into our hotels/hostels and giving recommendations & being available to help, so this was a bit sad for us.
- Marie-christine (8/5): Great stay - Location was great you can't keep windows open because of the noise outside
- Marie-christine (8/5): Easy going - Great location. And had everything we needed Nothing
- Jessica (4/5): Underwhelming stay - TreSette Toledo is very close to via Toledo with lots of shops and the national gallery, the room was suitable for a few days stay and we appreciated the free coffee machine in the general area. We were disappointed that the aircon was leaking in the room after only a short time of being on, very limited communication from the host, the location was hard to find with no signage and no flexibility with early check in or assistance with holding our bags. The wifi was unusable, with our room only having 1 bar of cell service and 1 bar of wifi that only worked 10% of the time, so we were not able to use the internet (wifi or data) at all in the room. The showerhead was also leaking but still usable.
- Alexis (6/5): A cute place to stay, but best for couples. - The location is absolutely perfect! Walking distance to pretty much all of the main attractions, and so close to the night time buzz of the Spanish Quarter.
It was also super clean, and contained all of the necessary things, such as towels, water, etc.
Self check-in was also super easy. We booked twins beds, which was confirmed by the hotel months in advance, but when we arrived, there was only a double bed.
The shower was also very sporadic... Hot water turned on and off unless you had it set to the highest setting, which was scalding.
The entry area, which you walk through to get to the room, smelled damp and mouldy.
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (3/5): Disappointing - Breakfast not booked. Better directions needed to find apartment No hot water. Poor wifi. 5 keys needed to access apartment.
- Grace (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great and comfortable bed No towels in the room and the bath mat was dirty
- Middleton-joseph (7/5): Perfect locations in a trendy part of naples, light airy room with street views, friendly staff - Comfy bed, the location was great! Lovely room no major complaints!! A full length mirror would be super handy!!!
The WiFi was not good and the shower could have been better. Half of the main lights worked.
- Lana (5/5): Passable - Shower was not working properly, water was not running with normal pressure.
Luggage drop off would be nice, since the check in is not early, we lost the half day.
Street was quite dangerous.
Too many keys for the gate, the block, entrance door, room door, lighting.
- Karina (10/5): Great weekend stay - The room was quite big compared to other accommodation options. We really appreciated the balcony as it allowed to feel the atmosphere of the city even more. Everything was nice and tidy.
- Charlie (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (2/5): Wouldn’t come back. - Good location in the busy city and the bed was comfortable. Really unhappy with the state of the property. When we arrived, we were told we had to pay city taxes upfront with no warning or option to pay by card. We looked around and noticed just how unclean it was. The bathroom floor was wet, there was black mould in the shower and rust on the floor in the main room. The floor left dirt all over your feet when you walked around and there was dust all over the room. And to top it off, the shower head didn’t work and and only dribbled out water, the host also only left shampoo so we had no body wash and had to obtain this ourselves. Not what you’d expect when you pay what we did and certainly not as advertised. I’d like my money back!!!
- Claire (8/5): great room in a viberant location - great location hot water was Intermittent in the shower, so we had a couple of cold ones but nothing to complain about
- Kathleen (9/5): Have saved for future stays. - A lovely room, well laid out. Air con was brilliant and the bed was very comfortable, has a good sleep. A cracked toilet seat but I got over that. Tiny inconvenience for a great stay.
- Mika (2/5): Mike - The location was good near the metro station. The hotel was difficult to find because there were no signs
The staff didn't speak English, so communication was challenging.
The room smelled of mold, and the indoor air was bad anyway. Me and my partner got a headache after our nights at the hotel.
There was bread and croissants in the room, which were dry/mouldy.
The hotel is located next to a busy street, so be prepared for noise.
- Sesilia (9/5): Superb -
- Ruben (5/5): Good, decent hygene, but personnel won’t make promises true. - Nice, spatious room with a comfortable airconditioning and bed. First of all, this accommodation was good. However, we specifically chose this accomodation due to the washing machine available. This was halfway our vacation, and we had to wash our clothes. The staff told us to put our laundry in a basket, for she will wash it and even hang it up at the balcony.
However, she did not. And when we arrived back at our hotel after spending the day in Napels, we had to quickly wash some of our clothes by hand and hang it up and let is dry, because we had to leave early the next morning. The staff did not respond on Booking.com (even not in Italian) when asked to do our laundry.
Conclusion: the hotel room is decent, some pubic hair in the shower, but mostly clean. Staff is nice but cannot count on them for doing your laundry!
- Brock (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jazmyn (2/5): Would not reccomend to stay here - The owner didn’t communicate well. Facilities such as washing machine and dryer were not able to be used for days. The door handle was broken. The iron didn’t work. There was mould in the shower. Floor was dirty, you couldn’t walk in the room without shoes.
- Ash (6/5): Short stay in naples... - Room was of a good size and the location wasn't bad at all, had numerous shops/restaurants around the area.
Plenty of towels, Aircon etc My own fault as didn't read the room properly, so isn't so much a bad point but it isn't a BnB (as breakfast isn't included) so it's just a room with appliances to cook yourself etc.
The shower in our room was hanging off the wall and the shower head itself leaked so had absolutely no water pressure at all, it also got cold between 3 of us needing to shower so you have to be fairly quick!
If you also like to have a few coffee's or teas in a morning my advise would be to purchase some for your room.
- Karolina (9/5): Superb -
- Pablo (10/5): Great location, very clean and convenient. - Location
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Turner (8/5): Very good -
- Madeline (9/5): Superb -
- Aidin (1/5): not recommended..it’s a scam! - nothing it’s a scam! very rude personal and dirty room! not recommended! hard to find the address! lying about the properties! the front door was defect! no warm shower! no airport shuttle that was offered at the beginning! very loud and we couldn’t sleep well! bad air conditioning!
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moshe (2/5): Very poor - The location was nice 7 minutes walk away from centre, nice balcony, nice room BUT the bathroom smells like mold and water floods the floor. the bad was very uncomfortable we couldn't sleep at all so we where have to book another place although we already paid for this. The owner wasn't ready to give us even part of the money back. She offer us at the third night a different room but then we didnt want to stay there at all. Hope it will be better for other visitors.
- Sarah (3/5): Poor - The location was very central and good for exploring the Spanish Quarter. We really enjoyed our trip to Naples, but Tresette Toledo wasn’t a comfortable place to stay, and we checked out a day early to move to a different hotel. The place felt very humid every time we returned after the air conditioning switched itself off, and smelt really strongly of detergent. The bed was uncomfortable, our room had barely any natural light and the sound from the road was impossible to ignore, even with the window closed. The shower was initially broken and the water pressure was really poor. The location’s really central and the price for the room was low, but overall we can’t recommend it as a place to stay.
- Mohamed (5/5): Passable - The place was good The wifi was not working
Given us wrong room
- Gabriel (10/5): Excelent accomodation if you enjoy staying in the heart of Spanish Quarter between napoletans - The room was bigger than in pictures and beautiful. Very nice mirror on the wall.
- Anonymous (10/5): Fantastico! - perfect location just off of Via Toledo. Mattia picked me up from the airport and dropped me off for my flight home with no problems. Room was cleaned every day, WiFi worked well. Made my solo travelling a much more comfortable and easy experience staying a TreSette Toledo. Would definitely stay here again!
