- Suzy (6/5): - The Inn is in a perfect location for us to stay. The gentleman at the counter for our 1st stay was very nice and accommodating. We read that they were pet friendly and checked off that we’d be bringing our pets when paying for the room on line. There was no charge with our 1st stay and they reserved us a king size bed that we paid $82 with fees and taxes. We were impressed and thought it was affordable. Our 2nd visit, said they had 2 king beds available and we reserved 1, checked that we had pets and with fees and taxes our $75 room went to $82 as expected. We arrived after 8pm and when I told the young lady at the counter we had 2 dogs, she told us there was a $10/ pet fee and she put us in a room with 2 Queen beds. Now the total for 1 night went to $102.00. That’s a little much for a small town Motel Inn. We noticed just between rooms 101-106 that 2 of the rooms have permanent renters who live there. We saw both people and cars the last time we were there. Who knows what’s going on on the back side. Every room had a car in front of it. Maybe more permanent renters also, being this was not a Holiday weekend and there were no events taking place in the town.. We felt a little taken advantage of as people from out of town.

- Diana (4/5): Won't do it again - Not much No breakfast, both beds were hard. Not thick enough blankets for middle of winter temps (sheet n very thin bedspread) took the room a long while warm up. Even when you say what time you be in, 2am, they charge you for previous night stay even tho ya wasn't there. It's called "hotel hours" 3pm-11am. So don't check in either before or after that. Will I stay here again, I'd rather not. I'd rather drive cross country to see my son/family before I stay here again

The area out side our room was stacked with construction type supplies and older furniture, so they are possibly redoing some rooms. It was a convenient location to stay for an event at White Mule Winery a few miles away.
- Christine (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The exterior is beautifully maintained and, if you are traveling with dogs, there is a large grassy area. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel. It may not be fancy, but it we will stay there again the next time we are in the area.

- Diana (8/5): It's okay, But... - Room was very clean The shower head isn't for folks that are 5'4 and taller. Also, would like to have the TV on swivel mount so when one lays in bed they aren't watching it from the side. Also, not all lamps had light bulbs. For instance, the lamp beside the TV (if standing in front, be one on left) did not have a bulb so could use lamp.

- Allen (8/5): It was convenient, pleasant and well worth the cost of the room. - Location. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Manager was courteous and I got the impression he was would have gone above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. The room next door had tenants with a loud dog and seemed like they were up all night.

You can see their hardwork and care all over the property. A nice short drive from Hermann. Don't hesitate to stay here.

But they would give a little baggie of ice cube tray ice if you ask. They staff was friendly and nice. So you get what you pay for which was not all that bad.

- Candida (2/5): Very poor - The only problem was, the room was FULL of flies - to the extent I could not sleep! I killed six of them over the course of 10 hours but there were still two buzzing around when I left. You need to either hang glue strips or treat the room with a residual pesticide which will kill them when they land. And then up the carcasses! Dead flies are also bad.

- Patrick (10/5): - We found the hotel room to be very clean and the bed very comfortable. Front desk was very friendly. It is an older motel so it is dated, but one can tell they take pride in the service that they provide. Also rooms are ground floor so it is easy access from your car.

We can’t handle the slightest smell of smoke or mildew, so luckily that was not an issue here. The room smelled like fresh linen upon entering (not like the synthetic air fresheners. It was absolutely the linens themselves), and it was immaculate throughout. No frills and modest as far as decor but for any standards it was a nice, safe, clean, comfortable place to stay.
