The hotel staff were rude The front desk clerk we acting like I was bothering them when I ask for things for my room. Housekeeping and the food service staff were very nice and helpful when I ask for things. Don't think I would visit this establishment again .

- Beth (5/5): Nothing special but it’s clean - I liked the location of this property. Close to a lot of things. East to get to. This property was mediocre. Nothing fancy. Was good enough to stay at for 1 night. Free breakfast was okay. I didn’t care for the bacon, it was like shoe leather. Nothing special about this hotel. If you just need a nice clean place to lay your head for a night or two, this place works.

The pull out sofa was too small and uncomfortable, with my mom being in a wheelchair it worried me beinging on the 4th floor, I felt that we should have been on the 1st. The shower was too small, I was wrapped up in the curtain by the end of my shower.

- Stephanie (9/5): Loved the room and it was reasonably priced. - The room was bigger than I expected and made the stay comfortable. There was a good selection of restaurants near by also. The only thing that would have made it better was to be offered the option to choose my preferred floor. I personally like the lower levels when available.

The bathroom had a ring of grime around it, the shower door gasket was hanging off and dirty, the pool flooring was dirty and had floating particles and mold in places. By the time we left our socks were dark brown from walking around our room. I couldn’t relax

- Denzil (10/5): Good stay but wouldn’t choose this location again because of the traffic delays secondly to the construction. - Clean, well appointed room with a full sofa sitting area and kitchen complete with dishwasher, dishes and silverware. Choice of several frozen meals, including vegetarian, ice cream and snacks for purchase at the desk. Complimentary coffee/tea/water, cookies and indoor pool. Liquid hand soap dispenser in the bathroom. Shampoo/conditioner/creme rinse dispensers in the shower. Location was a nightmare to get to with the construction in the area. Really disappointing breakfast. Thawed, previously frozen, processed egg product. Cold breaded chicken cutlets. Bacon so overcooked it crumbled to pieces when you tried to pick it up. One choice of cold cereal. A yogurt dispenser with no information regarding what type of yogurt it was. No containers with lids so that the yogurt could be brought back to the room. No bananas. Plates hidden behind displayed food. No staff monitoring/restocking breakfast area.

- J (4/5): Will never stay at a Hilton again. And that’s disappointing - Location. Not much at all . Dirty. Sheets and towels were clean. Refrigerator was clean. But dishes floors shower elevators were all dirty. For the 4 days we were there. Breakfast wasn’t bad but some things where to spicy for a child to enjoy. Housekeeping brought fresh towels and one garbage bag in each trash can didn’t sweep or change bedding. There should have been tooth brushes and paste and razors. And extra coffee and creamer sugar in the rooms. We had to bleach the shower and floors in bathroom and wash all the dishes and utensils there where white dried stains on the carpet and old chips in drawers and dried corn pieces . Couldn’t complain while we stayed because we were far from home and on a tight schedule for daughter’s graduation. But whoever listed excellent for this location is way off. This hotel is a Howard Johnson micro 6. We thought it was odd the price being so low. But never again will we stay at a Hilton home 2 suites. It was absolutely basic and hilton should never have locations using there name for these hotels.

- MARLO (1/5): I know that things happen, but someone should have been informing the guest ahead of time about this - I arrived in Columbia a little early and called to see if the room was ready and if I could possibly check in a little early. I was informed by the front desk attendant that the hotel currently did not have hot water and that she couldn't guarantee if or when the hot water would be restore for my stay. I was forced to find another property. If I hadn't called, do you not call the guest with that type of news. No one called to say anything!! This is very disappointing for a Hilton Prop.

Checking out the person that was at the front desk made it seem like I didn’t pay.. She had a different accent.. she talked over me when I told her I paid for the room that Friday.. she eventually apologized after the payment was received but I will never visit this hotel again EVER

- mike (3/5): Disappointed - Proximity to restaurants Hotel had a "rode hard and put away wet" feel to it. Might have been nice at one time, but just run down now. Small two person sofa smelled like it was really dirty and cushions worn out.

There were drinks splashed on light covers and splatters of stuff on the bathroom wall. BUT room was clean surface wise. Bathroom fixtures were clean as well!

The entrance to get in and out of. It was hard to do at times because it was so busy. The breakfast was hard to do for everyone to find something that they ate. The sausage was way too spicy.

- T387WBmandyb (4/5): Thank God I travel with Clorox wipes - I’ll start this off by saying I hope it was just my room, and not all are like this, but, I couldn’t get out fast enough. Stopped for the night in order to cut our 8 hour trip in half. Walked in to dirty carpet and a toilet with dried pee all over the front of it and around the seal at the bottom. The mirror in the bathroom had not been cleaned. Hair and dirt in the shower… I ended up using the dish soap and sponge to clean the shower before using. The bed sheets seemed clean so we stayed. I started sneezing and then noticed the layer of dust on the lamp. Thank God I travel with Clorox wipes. Again, could have just been my room, but if I have to pass thru again, I will keep on driving.

- Mary (10/5): - This is our favorite hotel to stay at when we visit South Carolina. The location is convenient for our family as it’s near family and there is plenty to do in the area. The suite has a small kitchen which is great for my family. The staff is always friendly and housekeeping does a great job making sure we have everything we need.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pros: The hotel was spacious & newer with plenty of parking around the building. It is conveniently located near lots of restaurants & stores, while also being right off the freeway. Cons: The service left lots to be desired! The person who checked us in, was in the middle of something & wasn’t happy that he had to check us in. Later on we came in & ask if they had a water bottle refill station, and the staff rolled her eyes because we disturbed the phone call she was having on her cellphone. I get that there are some places that would rather you buy water than refill your reusable bottles, but just say that. The hotel is dog friendly, so it smells like animals. There’s definitely room freshener used to mask the smell, but even my kids said it smelled like dogs.
