Guest Reviews
- 652edenh (8/5): Lovely hotel - Lovely hotel. Photos do it justice, staff are very friendly and helpful, remember your drinks order at the bar. Breakfast has a good variety of hot, continental, cereals, gluten free.
Aircon was not great in our bedroom and we opened windows instead, this was okay because we visited in March. The beds are much too hard. The mattress was sprung and felt quite old. We woke up with bad backs most days. We spoke to other couples who agreed.
Location is okay if you don’t mind walking, nearest supermarket is only 5 minute walk but if you want to go down to the seafront for dinner it’s around 25 minute walk up hill. We don’t mind walking so it was okay but for others it might be too far.
- ingridkE4577UE (10/5): Hotel LIVVO LOS CALDERONES THE BEST EXPERIENCE FOR A VERY RELAXED AND WELCOMING EXPERIENCE - Rooms very nice. Location good away from the main strip. Atmosphere amazing very relaxed and the staff were amazing, each and everyone could not have been more helpful and friendly and a special mention about the receptionist Marlen always going out of her way to help us. Thank you so very much to all for a wonderful week and we will be back.
- 855mags (10/5): Fabulous - Just returned from our second visit to this beautiful hotel. We were greeted on arrival by Jocelyn and enjoyed a glass of fizz while she completed the paperwork.
We were in room 505 which was the same room as last time (at our request) which overlooked the pool. The rooms are duplex with living accommodation downstairs and sleeping upstairs, a balcony upstairs and private terrace downstairs.
We were greeted in the restaurant by Samuel and Marjory who remembered us from last year, they made us very welcome with lovely hugs.
The food in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was very good with lots of choice 😋
All in all this is a fantastic hotel with the friendliest staff I've ever met.
We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it
- HarleyTowelsOnTour (10/5): A real peaceful hidden gem - This hotel is just perfect for us oldies.
We booked for 6 weeks from the middle of January until the end of February. The weather was perfect as was the pool which was heated to 27 degs and yes I did check with my eBay thermometer.
The accommodation was brilliant, just be careful on the stairs. We had the best of locations overlooking the pool and the pool bar for the evening entertainment which was simple but good.
The hotel staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Marlen who was in charge even pushed a guest around in a wheelchair after she had an accident on a bike. Ana picked up some shopping for me and Jocelyn was always smiling.
I have to mention Flavvi she is an absolute jem and her English is perfect.
Lolli your bed making and cleaning are excellent and so quick.
I’d love to mention everyone but just to say a huge thank you.
We normally stay in 5 star beach front hotels and are just sorry we didn’t find this hotel sooner.
We have booked to return next January

- tenkmega (10/5): A place in heaven - Location**
The hotel is located in the southeast of Gran Canaria in a peaceful and relaxing setting. It features beautiful gardens where guests can unwind, along with two lovely resident cats that add to the charm of the place. A taxi stop is conveniently located right next to the hotel, and guests can relax comfortably in the reception area while the staff arrange transportation if needed. The location also provides very easy access to the city and nearby beaches.
**Staff**
All members of the staff are welcoming, kind, and highly professional. I was particularly impressed by claudia , who demonstrated outstanding professionalism, genuine passion for the job, and great kindness toward guests. Claudia also took extra time to explain the local history and was especially supportive of travelers who did not speak Spanish, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and well informed.
**Food**
The food at the hotel is excellent. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the morning, pizza in the afternoon, and a buffet dinner in the evening. The variety and quality of the meals make dining at the hotel a very enjoyable experience.
**Facilities**
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel’s facilities are also kept to a very high standard. Upstairs, guests can enjoy the sauna and showers, which provide a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring.
- personaltrainingw (10/5): Fantastic relaxing break - I only have one word for this hotel.....PERFECT
Duplex rooms were bright and clean. Having 2 balconies was fab. Beds were extremely comfortable. We were bed and breakfast, breakfast was lovely plenty of fresh fruit and hot options were good, we especially loved the omelette station. Im lactose free and delighted to find lactose free yoghurt and milk available.
Pool area was immaculate with plenty of sunbeds available. The pool bar was lovely and done a good variety of snacks at lunch time.
Tea and coffee did cost from the mini bar, we bought tea bags from local shop and used them.
The hotel is very quite and chilled which was what we wanted. It was perfect for us.
Staff were amazing all friendly and helpful. I left my wedding ring in the safe when we left. I emailed the hotel directly when we got home they replied quickly and they found my ring. Its now safely back home with me.
We will be returning.
- juliecO8467HX (10/5): Excellent welcoming stay - Roadside appearance is deceptive, upon entering greeted by very pleasant receptionist and a cold glass of fizz, then through the glass doors to a beautifully kept pool side area surrounded by bonsai and canarian palms. Our duplex room was very clean, spacious , with a large outside area, tables and chairs and our own sun loungers that we could use instead of going by the pool. Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom and also bathrobes, pool towels of good quality . A tv upstairs and downstairs that also have English channels. Plenty of sunbeds, never had to queue, nice pools and jacuzzi, well kept clean areas, gym not bad, but did not have towels provided. Stayed half board, inside and outside restaurant very clean bright areas, lots of variety on both breakfast and evening, no portion restrictions, only criticism is the hot food is never really hot, the heated lamps are not effective at all, however there are 2 microwaves in the dining area which I did use on occasion. All drinks put on the room account, not too expensive, the pool bar was nice at night, singers on until 10pm ( the male singer quite good!) , the hotel doesn't do lively, just a peaceful environment to chill, Shuttle bus punctual, but easy enough to walk in and out of resort once you get your bearings, but probably not so much if you have mobility problems, taxi rank about 200 yards away. The reception staff are lovely, especially helpful Jocelyn, restaurant staff never stop, Majorie, Yadhiz (?) and Samuel very helpful and hardworking, overall we had such a great stay, we will definitely return to this little gem
- Q5996NPlouisee (8/5): Sunbed hogging - Very very disappointed to find some guests deciding to put towels on sunbeds to reserve them. Why is this allowed?!!!!!
- LightPacker784523 (10/5): Peaceful hotel excellent staff - Excellent hotel. Very friendly , efficient staff. Hotel very clean. Rooms are duplex apartments with lovely balcony and own garden and seating area . Pool area / jacuzzi peaceful.and never crowded. Nice bar for drinks and lunch . Special mention to our waiter staff Crisa, Johan , Marjory and Samuel who were exceptional and a credit to the hotel . Definitely recommend for a peaceful holiday
- Fearless45305415947 (4/5): Staying at the moment and having good time, all the staff are friendly. - Staying at the moment and all nice and staff friendly.
The rooms are advertised with coffee and tea but what they dont say if you have to pay extra for the actual coffee, tea and even the milf sackets on top, Iit is not a cheap hotel so I do find it a bit strange.
- Huxley2 (8/5): Perfect for relaxing - Mostly positives for our stay. The pool area, the sun terrace with plunge pool and hot tub were fabulous. Plenty of sun beds and beautiful sunshine, much warmer than expected in January. Both pools were warm enough to swim in. If you're looking for peace and quiet you can find it here. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with an abundance of plants and quiet seating areas.
We couldn't get a pool view room but actually room 810 was fine. Be warned there is €100 deposit taken for the mini bar and we didn't realise that included tea and coffee. €2 per coffee pod! Although housekeeping was in each day, on close inspection some hair and tissue in the bathroom remained throughout our stay. Towels were changed daily.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful with sparkling wine, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham, breads, pastries etc. Omelette were cooked to order, bacon, small sausages, scrambled eggs, tomatoes were pre cooked but the plates were cold and the food temperature only just warm.
We ate in the restaurant once at €25 each. It was fine, good selection of salad, fresh cooked fish and chicken but again cold plates.
We didn't use the free bus to Faro Maspalomas as we tended to go later and eat in the evening. A taxi was €4.80 to a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
This was the perfect balance for us and nice to come back to peace and quiet. There was some evening entertainment, solo singers but usually finished by 10pm. The pool bar had a good selection of reasonably priced drinks and snacks at lunchtime.
Lastly, the hotel team were lovely, very friendly and helpful on the last day check out was 12pm but we could leave out luggage and had access to the sauna with a shower, shampoo, towels before our 4pm pick up.
A few glitches but will definitely stay again.
- Leeds2419 (8/5): Chilled solo holiday - I don’t want to slate this place too much, as overall this has been a really good holiday and this apartment/ hotel complex is really nice, especially the staff.
There were a couple of issues during my stay, which were all sorted out, but equally weren’t expected.
Checkin - could have been better. Room I was given on arrival wasn’t what I was expecting, view overlooking a wall and got little to no sun. Tv didn’t work, the stairs also really slippy and I fell down the stairs.
Was told I couldn’t move initially as they were full however next day I spoke to the reception again and the in resort rep and they agreed to move me.
The new room was much nicer, brighter and better view of the garden with sun all day on the balcony.
They had some sort of power cut on the last night, handled really well by the team, however it must have knocked all the tvs off and the boilers as tvs wouldn’t work still the next day and there was no hot water so I had to get a cold shower.
However, these issues aside, I would come back here.
The staff are friendly, and go out of their way to engage with you and make you feel welcome.
The blonde hair lady on reception is really nice and pleasant, really makes the effort to chat to you.
Samuel on the evening dinner service is really friendly and chatty.
There are others but didn’t get their names but they all stood out as being very friendly.
The young lass at dinner who works with Samuel is very upbeat and friendly.
The rooms are clean and modern, just be careful on the stairs as they are slippy.
I fell and really hurt myself.
The gardens are clean and well looked after, with a nice poolside.
The food is OK, it’s nice and plenty of options for all diets, wasn’t a lot of variety over all though which did leave me feeling hungry sometimes or going out more.
There is a shop onsite, where you can purchase drinks and snacks and some toiletries.
The hotel operates a mini bar which on arrival you are asked to pay a 100€ deposit for, which also includes a deposit for towels.
I wasn’t aware of this, however paid it and they refund it on check out.
The mini bar is in my opinion quite pricey, and the items were cheaper in the shop.
The pools are nice, and don’t get overcrowded, and not a lot of bed reserving going in either which is nice.
Some hotels you go to, it’s just gets out of hand.
This place I feel is really chilled.
There is a taxi rank outside the hotel, and a taxi will cost you 6 € to the lighthouse where there is a plethora of bars and restaurants and the nearest beach.
Equally, 4€ to playa del ingles, where you can go for a night out in the Yumbo.
Puerto Rico is a bus ride way, catch the number 39/90 from the bus stop near the lighthouse, will cost you 2.75€ each way.
Nice for an afternoon out.
I visit GC every January, and Maspalomas is a beautiful holiday either solo or with friends.
Ive stayed at many hotels around the area and this is one of the better ones.
It’s not world class luxury, however the team are really friendly and really care which makes all the difference.
I will come back here and will recommend to my friends.
- SufConHSM (10/5): Fantastic experience - This duplex hotel, is one of the best places I've ever stayed at, it's an Oasis of luxury, set with palm trees, bonsai trees, sculptures, really is a fantastic experience. Marlen and the reception team are Awesome, always available to cater for your needs, duplexs are great, food is delicious, atmosphere is quiet and inviting.
- lucyw1233444 (10/5): Very nice hotel! Amazing week - Amazing week away! Rooms are spotless and very spacious. Staff on reception were lovely and helped us with all our needs throughout the week.
It was my birthday while we were away, woke up to a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday letter which was lovely!
Breakfast was also good, lots of variety and a fresh live omelette cooking station.
Highly recommend this hotel! Although it’s out the way, taxis were very cheap and we had a lovely holiday!
Thank you ❤️
- alanhP8278JK (8/5): Great place to explore Maspalomas - Stayed HB for 7 nights week commencing 20 October. 28degrees every day. Flew Jet2 from Luton albeit delayed by an hour. We’d missed the evening restaurant meal. Thoughtful reception team had organised plates of cold meats and salads for us, on arrival. Great start. We chose Calderones because it was adults-only and for its location, approximately 30-mins walk to the seafront / centre of Maspalomas / bus station.
Like much of the hotel, our room was a duplex apartment. Downstairs: lounge with TV and minibar. Upstairs: Bathroom, bedroom with TV. We loved it. Hotel layout was a basic grid system with plenty of greenery and interesting artefacts. Pool was just right with ample sun loungers and pool café. We spent most of our time here!
Staff and service were excellent throughout the week. The hotel sold basic items such as drinks and snacks. There are several good mini markets within easy walking distance of the hotel. Land opposite the hotel is at best a missed opportunity and but detracts from the quality of Los Calderones and the adjacent developments, stoney rough ground and rubble. This really is a small point and, though a little unsightly but certainly typical, did not dent our enthusiasm for the hotel and the island. We enjoyed daily walks, the pleasing architecture (including the never-to-be-forgotten Faro 2 Shopping Centre) and the amazing seafront with its lighthouse, museum and awesome dunes.
- garrye758 (2/5): Being verbally abused and threatened isn't a holiday - The hotel needs a bit of maintenance to get it back up to 4 stars but when we arrived all was satisfactory we weren't expecting excellence. The food was ok maybe not so much for vegetarians but they are trying.Staff in the reception and restaurant were attentive and polite. On our last day however one incident spoiled everything. So the pool is surrounded by sun loungers not all facing towards the sun so myself and my wife thought we'd move as the sun moves.my wife also went to get a glass of coke from the bar.All was good we'd had a relaxing day but had enough sun so collected our things and started to walk to our room.no sooner as we started to walk away from the loungers the life guard started charging towards us shouting in spanish and waving his hands about.we dont speak the language so didn't have a clue what he was saying. He picked one of the loungers up turned it around and slammed it back to the ground again shouting in Spanish.he pointed at the coke glass and the to the pool bar but we just started to walk away to get away from his abusive behaviour.he proceeded to follow us shouting and trying to push the glass into my wife's hand who by now was visibly upset.back to the room the came out to go and see the reception manager to complain,he saw us come out and continued his aggressive rant.my wife couldn't speak she was that upset so I told the reception what had happened and another holiday maker confirmed what had happened. We were leaving next day but were reassured it would be dealt with.paying guests shouldn't be treated in such a manner no matter what when in fact we had done nothing to justify the aggression.we will definitely not be returning.
- Horsetraveller (6/5): Run away beds and a hallway shower . - For the first 3 days we had water dripping from the ceiling at the top of the stairs and no air conditioning upstairs . We reported this and told that it’s condensation. I made a video of it and the pool of water gathering in a very precarious place . It was certainly not condensation. They sent maintenance so we had to miss our bus and go with him for him to tell us because we have the bathroom window open . There is no fan in the bathroom or ventilation so you have to open the very small window slightly . So we closed it and the same thing g happened the next day . We again had to go with maintenance and he told us it’s the air conditioning again and condensation. Honestly we know all about condensation and this wasn’t it . I almost slipped all the way down the narrow stairs one morning , it was a real health & safety issue . No one seemed to be taking us seriously or seeing it as a problem . So again we reported , showed the video and another maintenance guy came and solved the problem . We then spent every day for a few days complaining about the cleaning of the accommodation. One day , no replenishing , sink left untouched , balcony left , next cups left , glasses left , shower left , floors not cleaned . It’s sounds as though we complain a lot ! We don’t , but spending £100 a night in an alleged 4 star you should have a clean room . The biggest flaw however is no sink downstairs , so you have to go down to get the kettle , come up to fill , go down to plug in wait 30 mins for it to boil then come back up . Also they do not replenish tea bags etc but I suppose in the 30 mins you have for it to boil you can pop to the shops . Pool towels are only changed weekly , so when the week had come and we asked for clean towels we were told there were none available . We moaned that it’s been a week of using a dirty thread bear towel and eventually we received one towel about a metre squared . The cleaner did then bring us some bigger ones to cover our fandango’s. The other major gripe is the rolling bed on wheels . Don’t sit up in bed or you will end up in next doors apartment . Terrible beds . Good points …. Staff very friendly , pool is clean , peaceful hotel , breakfast plentiful , good choices and tasty . Overall we wouldn’t recommend . Too many issues and no one to really care about them .
- stevefS2736LC (8/5): 9 days couple couple holiday - Stayed for 9 nights and have just returned. Hotel is very clean and comfortable.
Rooms. Had a pool view and was close to the pool bar. Room was cleaned everyday. Only small issue was pool towels were difficult to get changed due to lack of them in the system. No noise from other rooms.
Pool Bar. Bar stops serving at 10.30pm. Entertainment most nights. Service very good throughout the day. Menus is a little limited.
Restaurant. Was only having breakfast which was fully stocked and plentiful and good quality. No poached eggs done thou. The one evening we had the meal was €25 each plus drinks. They offer a deal for €15 euros each if you take minimum of 5 nights. If this had been for 3 we would have taken the deal but 5 out of 9 was to many.
Reception. 24 hours and very helpful. Onsite shop very useful.
Gym. Well laid out but 2 running machines not working out of the 3 so had to time the use.
Location is a little way away from the main area but was very easy with taxis located 75 yard's away from the hotel and only €5.
Recommend the Beirut Lebanese restaurant which is only 8 mins walk away. Food was great. Small supermarket in same location as well.
Overall a very good holiday but some minor issues easily rectified.
We would go again.
- neilm873 (10/5): beautiful hotel - perfect hotel for me travelling solo , it was chilled peaceful and relaxed , helpful friendly staff and good food , the hotel and rooms where beautiful and comfortable , great facilities, i would most definitly return
- ricardomC3425BV (10/5): Great staff and good value. - Regular bus shuttle to and from maspalomas during the day. Only €4 taxi back from Faro de maspalomas and €7 from playa de Ingles.
Good breakfast.
Nightly entertainment.
Plenty of sun loungers.
Clean pools and hot tub.
Nice room duplex layout including a TV in the bedroom and living area.
Private porch.
Nespresso machine to use.
Polite, helpful and attentive staff. Ana, Stefan, and Marlen are wonderful as is Washington (the omelette chef) and Carlos the grounds maintanence man.
Although it's in a remote location it is near a large, cheap supermarket (mercadona) 15 mins walk away.
Good bus links to Puerto de Mogan.
- Jackie198 (10/5): Love love love - Lovely hotel, food great, staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean everywhere. Thank you all. Small quiet and very chilled atmosphere. Loved our holiday.
- 91tracy (10/5): Relaxing stay without the kids 😎 - Great hotel staff go above and beyond from warm welcome & glass of fizz at reception on arrival spotless hotel very green and lush with palm trees and bonsai
excellent service in the restaurant and recommendations for places to visit. We'd booked HB pool view highly recommended.
Breakfast is plentiful cereals pastries fruit hot options I opted for freshly cooked omelette
Evening buffet- loads of salad or soup five or six mains to chose lots of deserts cake ice cream fruit something for everyone
Snack bar - shared a pizza couple of times very nice
Great duplex apartment cleaned daily with upstairs balcony for evenings, downstairs there's two sun loungers.
Great pool cleaned and checked daily there's also plunge pool and jacuzzi in wellbeing area next to a small gym with the comfiest sun beds. Never a problem getting one or a daybed although we saw some people reserved from 9 and show up after lunchtime. I'd have just moved their towels.
25 minute walk to beach at maspalomas which was an eye opener ... but we preferred to hire car from reception and visited some beautiful coves with excellent snorkeling
Cons - air conditioning a bit smelly
rooms NOT soundproofed noisy neighbours returning at 4 or 5am
mini fridge already stocked but expensive we bought our own snacks tea milk etc 5 mins walk to mini market or up the hill for big supermarket on site shop ok but more £'s
Didn't get safe €2 day seems expensive for 4* hotel
If you want a relaxing stay with no kids then it's perfect 👍🏻
- D1549OMheidiw (10/5): Lovely stay - Just returned from this hotel. I booked based on reviews and the fact it was closer to the more upmarket Melanoras than Maspalomas/Ingles side. We were welcomed by Jocelyn on reception who is absolutely lovely, and a glass of champagne too. This is a small complex and has a quiet friendly feel. The fact it is adults only was a big draw for us, no annoying screaming kids. We stayed bed and breakfast in a pool view room which was recommended on the reviews. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet style, it was nice but sometimes a bit cold. The bar had evening entertainment but we spent the evenings in Melanoras so I cant comment on how good it was. Rooms were cleaned daily sometimes to a high standard other days not so much. We could always get a sunbed around the pool, although the umbrellas got taken quickly and there was a heatwave when we were there. The only glitch for us was the aircon did not work in the bedroom. Reception gave us a fan which helped. I heard others saying about it so I think there was a problem for a few rooms. It is a 25 min walk to the seafront and Melanoras which has lovely restaurants, bars and shops. We didn’t mind the walk. The hotel has a courtesy bus to the beach that runs hourly during the day. Taxi rank is 2 min walk from hotel and will cost €5 to the beach. We visited playa del Ingles and wish we hadn't bothered, it was awful. We also took the bus to Puerto Mogan which is worth a visit. I would return to this hotel and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet relaxed break.
- ptd0001 (10/5): Excellent staff. - We recently had a lovely 7 nights stay at the Los Calderones. All the staff are really friendly and the service was excellent, as was the apartment and the hotel facilities.
My wife had plenty of choice from the breakfast and evening buffets. As a pescetarian, there was always enough for me to choose from, although vegetarians may find the selection at the evening buffet a little repetitive.
The hotel is fairly isolated, but the free beach shuttle service is good, and we found the public bus service to be easy enough to travel to Puerto de Mogan and Las Palmas.
There was live music each evening at the pool bar, some of which was exceptional (Dani Gonzalez).
The only issue we had was that the hotel had taken a large booking from a young rowdy male Spanish football team, which somewhat spoilt the otherwise relaxed atmosphere during their weekend stay.
We would happily recommend a stay at the Los Calderones.
- cbjfletch (10/5): Wonderful five night stay✨ - We visited Hotel Livvo Los Calderones in July for five nights booked with JET2. The hotel was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel is smaller than others and remote but absolutely spotless. Welcomed with champagne on arrival by Jocelyn who made our stay lovely. Small bar area with amazing cocktails (strawberry mojito), we stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast options always had a good variety (full English, meats and cheese, fruit and pastries, juice). Mixture of all nationalities, pool area always had free sunbed as well as the jacuzzi. Hotel is situated between both Maspalomas centre and the lighthouse. Do try the Jumbo centre for one evening. Hotel helped us hire a car which was a simple pick up and drop off with no issues at all. Taxi rank 100m from the hotel (walk out the hotel and turn right, taxis around €7/8). On our last day we had a late flight back so were able to store our luggage, have breakfast and use shower and toilet facility. The WiFi wasn’t the best, we had our 5G on all holiday but if you have full data roaming that isn’t a problem.
Thank you again for a wonderful stay and making it lovely.
- JulieW366 (6/5): Air con nightmare - We are family in three rooms. Here now: one has perfect air con the other two nothing . So 3rd night now with zero and lots of promises it will come. It’s fixed. NO it not?
Hotel is great food staff great. Please just fix the air con. And for me on my own the food
- s4joc (10/5): Amazing gem of a hotel - We had been looking for a smaller adults only hotel, not far from the airport and with plenty of sunbeds. This hotel seemed to fit the bill upon booking. It could not have suited us more- we just wanted a relaxing break in the sunshine. We only ventured off the site once when we walked into Maspalomas in the evening. There was masses of sunbeds and always only half in use (see photo). Such a relaxed vibe at the hotel with wonderful staff who you get to know throughout your stay. We stayed half board and the evening meals were wonderful- plenty of choice. We are definitely going to return! If you want a pool & sunshine holiday- this is the place for you. Not a lot around it in terms of bars etc but just get a taxi if you want to go places. A lot of people loved the Mogan Harbour trip but we didn't go on it ourselves.
- ameliapY3916UR (10/5): Relaxing get away - Beautiful and peaceful hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful, especially Jocelyn, Marlene, Stefan and Ana at reception. Welcomed with a glass of champagne on arrival, and shop open 24hrs.
Room a lovely size for the 2 of us with a downstairs area with a place to put luggage. Sun-beds outside of room and balcony. Air-con worked great, towels for pool were also included in visit.
Rooms were lovely and clean maintenance staff and housekeeping were great and friendly. Land in hotel very well taken care of I always seen it being unkept when there, very pretty plants and statues.
Quite hotel, loads of available and comfy sunbeds. Good place if you want a relaxing holiday with nice weather.
Wasn’t much around the outside of hotel, if your wanting to go anywhere for the day you’d need to get a taxi or they do a shuttle to places such as Morgan mall, although we didn’t use so can’t comment on that.
Not overally expensive was around €30 to Mogán market in taxi there and same amount back but a place to spend the day. Others around the area normally €5-€10.
Recommend visiting mogan market, play del ingles, the dunes, lighthouse and Little Venice in porta del mogan.
- T4919QDlanak (8/5): Perfect girls trip! - Perfect girls trip! Hotel was in a great location! The rooms felt extra special with the 2 floors! We paid extra for a pool view and we were pleased we did as we often sat on the balcony in the eve to listen to the bar music. Free bus runs daily into the town during the day and the taxi’s are only a few steps away and were only around 5 euros.
Breakfast was brilliant and there was a wide choice available.
The reception staff were lovely but I found the waitresses at breakfast and in the snack bar rude.
The room was cleaned daily and bathroom towels changed daily.
Extra charges to be aware of-
* mini bar snacks are very expensive! The hotel sells the same snacks cheaper or if you’re in the town the supermarkets are half the price.
* A complementary teal pool towel is given for the week. If you want it changed it’s 1 euro a towel.
* 100 euros deposit on arrival on card or cash.
* I was buying cans of coke for the room from the hotel shop and the snack bar were charging for ice.
* we didn’t have the dinner package but you can eat in at a cost. I wouldn’t bother as the town did the best dinners for a good price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A great hotel for the price - Its a great hotel for the price.
- I450TZemilys (10/5): Great experience - On arrival, we were welcomed by a lovely lady at reception with a glass of champagne. Check in was simple, quick and efficient.
Our room was lovely & very clean. Smaller than anticipated but a perfect size for me & my friend. Cleaned daily, if requested. We opted for bed and breakfast. Lots of choice.
Pool area was spotless with maintenance and cleaning daily. Plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas. Pool restaurant was nice, decent food/drinks & prices (although they didn't take cash)
A free bus into maspalomas town (which is highly recommended) if you like shops and restaurants, we had some lovely meals.
Taxi rank is a 2 min walk from the hotel and is fairly priced.
All in all a great week away.
- 402lilan (10/5): Amazing stay, loved by a young teen couple! - We had such a lovely stay at Calderones! The duplex apartments are really lovely - gives you an apartment spacious feel in a hotel setting! I would definitely recommend upgrading to pool view!
We opted for half board which was great, really nice food, lots of yummy fish as a pescatarian I ate well! The staff are lovely, especially Steffan on reception and Marjory making cocktails!
Note that there is a walk to the beaches/ towns of both Meloneras and Maspalomas, probs about 25 minutes. As a teen couple we found this easy, but taxis are cheap and another option! The hotel is quite quiet, we were defo some of the youngest guests but didn’t mind the peace! There is a small pool bar with nightly entertainment but it stopped at 11pm and was always quite quiet. The pool was always peaceful with lots of sun loungers!
We did lovely day trips to Puerto de Mogán, I would definitely recommend catching the bus there (ask at reception or use google maps!). It’s a bit of a ‘posher’ feel with a beautiful beach, lovely restaurants and €2.50 pints of tropical (amazing local beer!) on the beach! We also went kayaking here for €20, would recommend as well!
All in all we had such a lovely week! thank you!🌊💗🏄♂️☺️
- nikkifY3374MR (10/5): Honest Review: Hotel LIVVO Los Calderones (20/07/25 – 27/07/25) - We had a lovely stay at Hotel LIVVO Los Calderones and would 100% return!
Rooms:
The layout is great—split across two levels. Downstairs you’ll find a comfortable couch, TV, and minibar. Upstairs has the bedroom, bathroom, another TV, and a balcony. Rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. I’d highly recommend paying a little extra for a pool view room—it’s worth it to enjoy the live evening entertainment from your balcony.
Food:
Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of options—continental, hot food, fresh fruit, and more. Coffee and juices are included.
Dinner was okay—fairly repetitive, but if you’re happy with a rotation of fish, meat, chips, veg, and pasta, it will suit you fine. Desserts were basic: a few cakes, fruit, and ice cream.
Location:
The hotel is a bit remote, but taxis are right outside and very reasonably priced. There’s also a bus stop directly outside and a free shuttle that takes you to the beach. It’s about €5 to get into the busier towns by taxi, or a 50-minute walk if you’re up for it.
Pool:
The pool area is clean, with a lifeguard on duty and a bar offering snacks. There are plenty of loungers and umbrellas, but unfortunately, sun-bed reserving was an issue—people would put towels down and disappear for hours. The lifeguard didn’t manage this, which was frustrating.
Evenings:
Evening entertainment was generally quiet, usually a singer. It’s ideal if you’re looking to relax after a long day. For more nightlife, a quick taxi into town is easy and affordable.
Overall:
We had a lovely, relaxing holiday. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the staff were great. It’s not the liveliest place, but perfect if you want to unwind in comfort. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return
- Departure46273256391 (10/5): - The welcome from the receptionists is so warm that you'll feel at home straight away....with a cup of Cava each time you come back from a trip!!! They are very knowledgeable about the island and if you want to avoid touristic places, let them know. My duplex was at the very end so it was quieter which suited me fine. Although the air con is soft, the rooms will remain fresh if you keep the curtains drawn. Also very clean. I only booked the breakfast and the choice is endless but I would have liked bigger cups for coffee/tea and more Canarian/Spanish food.
You also have a free bus that picks you up from the hotel to the dunes at specific times. You walk a bit and you reach the city centre. If I come back to Gran Canaria, I know where to come back for my stay.
- W858MCdavidw (10/5): Would come back again - a little oasis - Perfect relaxing holiday.
The hotel has around 75 rooms all suites with with small garden with loungers and table and chairs, plus a further balcony with again table and chairs.
All come sofa, coffee maker with pods, kettle, plus fridge and mini bar. 2 TV's one in lounge and one in bedroom.
Comfortable beds, plenty of storage (although wardrobe not ideal for long dresses).
Pool which is big enough for the size of hotel, plenty of sunbeds, further area with plunge pool and hot tub. Gym and Spa.
Hotel grounds green with trees and plants all well maintained.
Restaurant, spacious and never crowded, food excellent, with a good variety for the size of hotel.
Bar open from midday until late, food available until mid afternoon, again great quality, prices pretty reasonable. Drink are the international brands. Drinks are charged to the room for pay on departure, or payment can be made by card.
Staff, could not fault any staff, always happy to of service, with a smile. Special mention to Marleen and Stefan at reception and Margery in the bar and restaurant, (not sure if the names spelt correctly).
The hotel has a small shop for drinks, snacks and essentials, and it is open all the time as you pay at reception, so perfect when bar closed.
Location quiet, with the closest bar or shop 5 to 10 minutes walk, a walk to the the Faro area with the bars shops and beaches, takes about 25 minutes. A walk into Playa Ingles/Maspalomas around 40 minutes. There is a curtesy bus in the day, but taxis' are easily found.
Would stay again, if I was to return to the area.
- Jonny (10/5): - An Unforgettable Stay at Hotel Livvo Los Calderones - Staff Are Pure Gold!
Our recent stay at Hotel Livvo Los Calderone was absolutely exceptional, and without a doubt, the true stars of this establishment are its amazing staff. From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure, every single interaction was met with genuine warmth, incredible efficiency, and a level of attentiveness that truly made us feel valued and pampered.
The team at Livvo Los Calderones goes
above and beyond in every aspect. Whether it was the friendly welcome at reception from Marlén (que tenga un buen día), the diligent housekeeping keeping our room pristine, or the wonderful service at the restaurant and bar, everyone seemed genuinely happy to help and committed to ensuring we had a perfect holiday. They anticipated our needs, offered helpful recommendations, and handled every request with a smile and incredible professionalism. It's rare to find such a consistently high standard across an entire team, and it truly made our experience so much more enjoyable and relaxing.
Beyond the phenomenal service, the hotel itself is a fantastic choice for a getaway. The facilities are top-notch, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and the overall ambiance is one of tranquility and luxury. However, it's the dedication and delightful nature of the staff that truly elevates Hotel Livvo Los Calderones to al league of its own. They are the heart and soul of this wonderful place.
We cannot recomme
- Anbax2023 (10/5): Lovely hotel pity about the location. - I recently returned home from this hotel. The hotel, it's staff, the pool area and bar were brilliant. The rooms were lovely. They had both a small terrace with 2 sunlongers and a balcony with table and 2 chairs. The pool was lovely and I had no problem finding a sunbed or brolly at any time that I went there
The breakfasts were fabulous with a chef making omelette to order. There was also a choice of cereals including different milks, a selection of cooked breakfast items, cheeses and hams, fresh fruits, a variety of fresh breads and fruit juices. Cakes and pastries.
The bar has a good selection of spirits and cocktails, smoothies, lager on tap all at good prices and they serve lunchtime snacks from 12 till 3.30.
There is a small shop by reception which sells large bottles of water (which unfortunately will not fit in the tiny fridge in the rooms)
I am an elderly solo traveller and had only booked B&B as I like to take a walk out in the evening to restaurants close to any hotel I stay in and enjoy regional foods.
This was not possible here as there was no restaurants, cafes or shops nearby. This fact was not made clear by Jet2 in any of the information I had before booking. And maybe I should have researched the area better.
There is a free bus from the hotel to the beach area but unfortunately not in the evenings.
Overall a relaxing few days so thank you all at Livvo los Calderones
2 improvement would be better aircon and a bigger fridge in the rooms. Ann x
- 736susannahc (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing, wonderful. - Absolute gem of a hotel!Had a beautiful holiday, staff on reception outstanding, restaurant staff brilliant, cleaning staff do a really immaculate service,we felt so welcomed by everyone. The hotel and pool areas were very beautiful, we will definitely stay here again, number 1 choice for us!
- tenkmega (10/5): Amazing thsi location for ideal for both ten because and beach. And all city life - I keep coming back to Los Calderones for a few great reasons. First, the location is perfect — just a short taxi ride from both the city and the nearby beaches, making it super convenient without being noisy or crowded.
The rooms are cleaned daily, which I really appreciate as a solo traveler. The hotel also offers both breakfast and dinner, and if you just feel like something light, there’s even pizza available.
The staff are always friendly and helpful — they truly make the place feel welcoming.
I’m still discovering this beautiful island, but Los Calderones has become my reliable base every time I return.
Ideal for cat lovers
- tgoodall01 (10/5): Adults only relaxing hotel - We have just returned from this lovely hotel. We have stayed in a few hotels in Maspalomas and this is out favourite. It is adult only, small and quiet and relaxing. The pool and lounger area is spacious and the hotel has lovely gardens, with an interesting selection of Bonsai trees! There is a shuttle 4 times a day to/from the beach. The rooms are duplex and have a lounge and fridge area with TV downstairs and then a bedroom with TV and shower room upstairs with a small balcony. There is ample storage and hanging space. You can log into your Netflix and Amazon accounts also.
Breakfast and dinner was good with a reasonable choice for both and there is a bar that offers lunchtime snacks.
Staff are all friendly and helpful.
Will definitely return.
- catrionah272 (10/5): Maspalomas Los Livvo des calderones - Thanks to loveholidays a great choice of hotel. Easy travel option, only 20 mins on a shuttle from the airport. Very friendly staff and comfortable duplex style sitting room downstairs and bedroom upstairs. Small patio and balcony respectively. Great excursions from Low Cost Tours efficiently booked by reception for a few seamless fabulous days out and about. Otherwise relaxing by the pool with aqua yoga some of the days was a pleasure and music at night a treat. All staff fabulously friendly. Great cocktails!
- C7783EUgemmad (8/5): Lovely weeks holiday at Hotel Livvo - We have just had a wonderful one week holiday here. We were greeted by Jocelyn (absolutely lovely!), shown where our room was and the hotel etiquette. Given a glass of champagne to enjoy on arrival too.
Room 403 was spacious, clean and modern. Loved that we had balcony space upstairs and downstairs a garden area with table and chairs, and a couple of sun loungers.
The pillows and bed were so comfortable, we slept very well!
The only negatives were that the walls are thin in the hotel rooms, but it’s only like being in a terraced / semi detached house. You get drinks with your breakfast, but not with dinner (this is chargeable). We didn’t know this, and when we asked if we could upgrade to include drinks (apparently this is a thing - Half board plus) we were advised we couldn’t.
It was just a bit disappointing, even if we had been given some water to share with our food, it would have been ideal.
The free bus was extremely handy, able to explore around Maspalomas beach and restaurants.
It takes you near to a bus station where you can easily visit surrounding places.
There is also a taxi station less than 2mins walk away.
We didn’t walk into Maspalomas, took us around 20mins and you can walk alongside / into the nature reserve. Plenty of wildlife, including lizards and various birds.
Overall we’ve had a great stay, and would come again.
Thank you to all the wonderful team for your hospitality.
Just to add - would recommend a visit to Mogan whilst you’re there, and the island tour. We didn’t go to palmitos park as ran out of time, but neighbours said it was great!
- GEJ2 (10/5): Fantastic relaxing June break - We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel. We booked 2x pool view duplex suites, one for my wife and I , the other for our son. We emailed in advance asking for the units to be next door and this was confirmed on arrival.
Lovely greeting by receptionist on arrival and also offered free glasses of fizz. We had to put down a €100 euro deposit for mini bar, but this was not used and payment not taken on return.
The duplex suites were lovely with lounge downstairs and bedroom upstairs. The lounge had a small alcove with fridge and kettle. It also had tv which had the main English channels and Netflix. Same as tv in bedroom. Bed was large and comfy. Small balcony to sit out and chill. Also 2x subbed in our patio, but we always chose to be by pool and there was always sunbeds available, so no mad rush needed to reserve.
As we booked half board plus we had 2x drinks with evening meal. Buffet for both courses with plenty of choice. Waiting staff were so friendly (special mention for Marjorie and Susan). For evening meal they also had a grill station where the chef could cook you either fish or meat or both.
Entertainment was on most nights with a solo singer performing each night except Saturday. They performed at the beach bar and it was an intimate performance each night to a crowd of 20-30.
Location was remote, but the free bus to Maspalomas was great and the taxi rank is close by so cheap trips to the front or next resort. Taxi to front was only 5 euros. We did take a taxi the Playa de Morgan which cost 35 euros. We waiting for nearby bus, but it was full, so reverted to taxi.
Overall a fantastic relaxing break in a wonderful little resort with lovely friendly staff.
- R2847MWalanc (10/5): Our June 2025 holiday - From the time we arrived at the hotel, when we were met by the friendliest welcome we have ever received at a hotel by Marleen and this was carried on throughout our stay by all the waiting staff and support staff. Great rooms, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Bar and pool area well maintained. Plenty of sunbeds. For a small hotel the entertainment was ok. Food was plentiful and a reasonable choice. Bar prices a lot cheaper than Maspalomas beach bars. Also a free bus to Maspalomas and back. We would definitely recommend.
We're definitely coming back.
- MarandMax (10/5): What a Great Hotel, Brilliant Holiday - Easy access to the main route east and west, the hotel has a free bus several times a day into Maspalomas, is a short walk to bus stops and a taxi rank at the end of the street. We didn't hire a car but the hotel can arrange this with details in the reception. The friendliness of the reception team was much appreciated, we arrived late in the evening and a cold plate was prepared for us. Throughout our holiday everyone seemed to go above and beyond to make our time with them a great holiday. All of the staff smiled and were very welcoming.
The hotel was laid back, no rush with plenty of time to eat, space around the pool with plenty of sun beds, every room also had its own patio with sun beds and a balcony with table and chairs. The rooms were well equipped with TV's, a stocked fridge with clear details of pricing and tea and coffee making facilities which is re-stocked with a small charge. It was clean and and well maintained with plenty of storage space for clothes, a safe and lots of coat hangers. The bathroom was clean, well maintained and included toiletries and hair dryer.
The pool bar serves food and snacks at lunchtime is open into the evening with laid back entertainment almost every night.
The grounds are clean and well maintained and are a credit to the hotel.
Overall a great holiday made all the better by the lovely people at the hotel, already looking at visiting again next year.
- MrWayn0 (6/5): Great hotel, shame about the 4am raves next door - I love Gran Canaria. Been coming for years. So when I booked Livvo Los Calderones, I was expecting a chilled, adults-only escape with a bit of style and peace. And honestly, the place almost nails it.
Staff? Brilliant. Friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely. The hotel itself is smart, great value for money, and the setting is ideal for a relaxed break. Breakfast was decent, too. Not gourmet, but solid.
Then came the Afrobeat Apocalypse in Room 710.
Every night (or should I say morning?) I was woken up at 4 or 5am by my neighbour’s TV blasting like it was Carnival season. He was part of a group attending an Afrobeat festival and treated the hotel like it was a cheap Ibiza club week. Shouting, swearing, thumping music. Rinse and repeat. He had to be told off by reception daily, yet somehow it continued. The walls are so thin I started to feel like I was in the same room.
Here’s the real issue. This group had booked around 20 rooms. They turned a quiet hotel into a 3-day all-nighter. Why did the hotel accept that booking? Why weren’t guests told in advance? If I wanted foam parties and 5am basslines, I’d have gone to San Antonio.
Dinner was forgettable. The air con upstairs had a weird pong. The front of the hotel looks a bit tired. And to top it off, the hotel never replied to my email when I complained.
Such a shame, because it could’ve been a brilliant stay. With better soundproofing and some actual guest screening, this would be a little gem. Until then, bring earplugs, an industrial air freshener, and a spare room just in case Room 710 is occupied.
- Sandra (10/5): - Lovely adults only hotel 5 minute taxi ride to Maspalomas beach and lighthouse, they offer a free daily bus service to the Charca of Maspalomas near the dunes - professional, friendly and courteous staff, had problem with key to room which they sorted out immediately, good choice of breakfast and dinner options, great layout, swimming pool and small jacuzzi type pool in the middle with suites all around, very cute, great place to unwind and relax, great fun with the aquagym classes with Sara, part of the hotel service, have a pool bar where you can have lunch and smacks, also has a small shop. There are spa facilites and a gym - great friendly hotel - I extended my stay - will definitely be returning.
- Kenneth Damian (10/5): - Have stayed here several times and it has always been great
- Lourdes Rodriguez (10/5): - The gardens are beautiful. The solarium is a nice quiet area.
The bedrooms are too small though.
Overall, great.
- MrandMrsWalker30 (10/5): Beautiful Stay - would definitely return! - Amazing!! My friend and I went for 3 nights for a child free/husband free break.
we stayed B&B and the food was delicious!! Cocktails were lovely and the hotel as a whole really welcoming!! We were even give a glass of fizz at check in!!
Pool - There are plentiful loungers around the pool area. However there is an additional pool area above the restaurant where there is a plunge pool. The loungers up there are elite and it gives such a feel of exclusivity.
Rooms - Everything you need, we were in room 711 which was at the back of the hoel however it was nice to be tucked away ad the sun hit the loungers in the afternoon. There is a balcony off the bedroom and a terrace as you walk in which has table and chairs AND 2 loungers! Really lovely!
We got a taxi to Playa del Ingles which was €9 however Melanores is only €5 and MUCH nicer. Literally 5 mns away!!
I would defo return to this hotel. Feels like I have found somewhere secret and uncommercial. The staff were all wonderful and we had a lovely break!
- 855mags (10/5): Fabulous - Just returned from this fantastic hotel. Probably the warmest welcome we've ever had at check-in by the lovely Marel, she gave us a glass of champagne 🍾 while she did the paperwork.
Our room was great, living area downstairs and bedroom and bathroom upstairs, there was a tv on each floor. We were in room 505 which overlooked the pool. Pool are had plenty of sunbeds and whole place was beautifully clean.
Food at breakfast and dinner was good and plenty of choice. The staff in the restaurant were amazing, Marjory, Samuel, Susanna and Miguel helped make our visit special. We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary while we were there and they surprised us by setting up a special table with flowers and champagne, definitely went above and beyond.
There was a free shuttle bus to the beach several times a day and taxis were about 5 euros.
All in all we found this hotel perfect 👌 we are a couple in our late 60s.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough, made extra special by the staff from reception, restaurant to the lovely smiling cleaning ladies
- rachaell1971 (6/5): Lovely quiet hotel - Lovely and quite close to taxi rank, 20 min walk into town.
Breakfast pretty standard give yourself time to make toast, you could eat your breakfast and go to the shops it still wouldn’t be done.
Evening meal only had once but plentiful.
Only downside- they advise air conditioning, it’s not air con at best it’s air handling. I wouldn’t be able to survive the summer months with only that facility. Jet 2 on site I feel let theirselves down, they don’t provide a visit and when requested she was late and pretty much useless to be honest.
That is no reflection on the hotel.
The only downside was the ls lack of air con but they did try their best. Would I return absolutely.
- 605kennethr (10/5): Top friendly Hotel - We have just returned from a 35 night holiday stay at hotel Los Calderones peace quiet and relaxing comes to mind ,the staff especially Mika Susanna Marjory and Samuel made the whole experience so warm and welcoming as did all the staff and we look forward to returning again in the future,Ken and Maggie Roberts, Room 811
- Scenic467729 (10/5): Lots Calderones - Really nice clean hotel. The staff are exceptional from the lovely greeting at reception the fantastic restaurant staff.
- Leggo64 (10/5): A perfect week - Lovely Hotel in every way, perfect week away just before Christmas, would definitely go back again it has been more than 30 year since visiting Gran Canaria.
- carole1278 (8/5): Fabulous time - Arrived to a lovely welcome and a glass of champagne. Smooth check in and room was ready. Rooms a duplex, with down stairs terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs, large TV, kettle and mini bar fridge. Really loving. The gardens are well kept and beautiful. Pool area is amazing with no sunbed issues, nice padded lounges. The snack bar is reasonably priced but does nt serve food after 3. Drinks are nice and generous quantities. We were on a B n B basis, breakfast was fine. The hotel is not near any amenities and nightlife, bars are restaurants need to be reached via taxi, taxis are very cheap , around 4/5 euros to Melonaris. We had a great time, very relaxing, boutique and friendly. A special mention to Jocelyn on reception and Lavvana from the bar they are an absolute credit to the hotel. Hotel is well worth a visit for a peaceful relaxing holiday.
- pattuohy (6/5): In the middle of nowhere. - This is my opinion only. My thoughts only.
Weather fantastic.
Travelled alone. 64 years old.
Hotel very very very quiet.
Only one bar by the pool. Closed at 1030 pm.
Always in the shade so not used much.
Nothing around the hotel.
I spent most of my euros on taxis. Taxi rank to the right of hotel. Three minute walk. However in the dark it’s hit or miss if they see you as they drive past on the main road.
Oh and the paths are very dodgy.
I put my phone light and waved it about to get their attention.
5€ to Maspalomas. 8€ to Playa Del Ingles.
Food not what I expected. Breakfast poor. Bacon like leather. I won’t say what they serve as baked beans or sausages. Horrible.
Dinner not too bad.
Only ever warm.
Pool area good. No need to reserve sun beds.
Staff are brilliant. No complaints at all about them.
Reception staff are like doctor’s receptionists. Do not understand much English.
I asked for a top up of shower gel. Never got it.
Small onsite shop.
My honest opinion of the hotel is average at best.
My fault. I should have read more into it before booking.
If you want a holiday in the middle of nowhere then it’s for you. It was chilled and relaxed.
- Nadine (10/5): - L'Hotel é carinissimo, zona silenziosa, tranquilla e comoda.
- Kim (10/5): - Excellent hotel, good breakfast, lovely pool area, always clean and tidy.
- Tonje (8/5): - Very nice hotel, big pool and friendly staff. Cleen as well.
- Arthur George (10/5): - Lovely quiet hotel. Planning on booking again in the future
- Euan (10/5): Amazing value for money - Amazing hotel, far enough away that you get peace and quiet, but only a 5 minute taxi from all of the main areas of Maspalomas.
The value for money is incredible, staff were friendly and the cleanliness was excellent. I would happily recommend Hotel LIVVO without hesitation and will definitely return.
Volgende keer alleen logie/ontbijt boeken.
- Kim (10/5): Great stay - Lovely hotel, very clean and staff are great.
- Roberto (6/5): - OTTIMO RISTORANTE E OTTIMO RAPPORTO CON IL PERSONALE. PIU' CHE UN ALBERGO ASSOMIGLIA AD UN B&B (per i rapporti umani).
LA NOSTRA CAMERA (la 213) ERA SU DUE PIANI: AL PIANO TERRA NON C'ERA NEMMENO UN ATTACCO DI ACQUA E PER RAGGIUNGERE IL PRIMO PIANO C'E' UNA SCALA STRETTISSIMA E MOLTO SCOMODA.
INOLTRE LA WIFI NON FUNZIONA BENE AL PRIMO PIANO (nella camera da letto), NE' IN PISCINA NE' AL RISTORANTE.
LE RETI RAI NON SI VEDONO ED E' NECESSARIA LA LORO SINTONIZZAZIONE: SEGNALATO IL TUTTO, NON ABBIAMO RICEVUTO L'ASSISTENZA RICHIESTA.
LA SAUNA E' A PAGAMENTO.
L'INDROMASSAGGIO (gratuito) NON E' MOLTO PULITO
- Paolo (10/5): - Accoglienza molto gentile e premurosa, struttura molto bella e con giusto affollamento.
- gustavo (10/5): - Very nice place to stay
- Sandra (8/5): - I liked the quiet, the area around the pool, the staff, the gym and the buffet - was surprised that the rooms were quite narrow. I also thought that the hotel would be nearer to the beach than it actually was. We didn't like that the shower didn't have a proper door that closed as it wet the whole floor which was minuscule and a flimsy towel on the floor just made it worse and even slightly unhygienic as it became soaking wet almost immediately. We liked the entertainment- the older lady singing songs, she was very good amd the staff were super nice, helpful and professional - all in all a pleasant experience!
- Stephen (10/5): - Very nice room layout across 2 floors and with its own balcony. Ideally as it is a quiet location it would be good to have a hire car to get around the area
- Kenneth Damian (10/5): - Loved my stay and all the staff who were fab.
- Mona (8/5): - Hotel was clean and quiet in a convenient location. Two floors made the room more spacious with an upper balcony and a small ground floor patio. Lots of amenities on site. Walking distance to the beach and public transportation stops right outside the property. There is also free shuttle service to the main Bus Hub. Hector was a pleasure at the Front Desk helping us with all the small details for our stay. Breakfast had lots of variety and Javier is an excellent and friendly chef. Would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Resort to Say At! - Had a brilliant week staying at this resort. Can’t really fault anything. Would defiantely stay here again. The staff was great. Hotel is of a high standard.
- Heather (10/5): Quiet Sun and Fun - Beautiful pool and very comfortable rooms, good use of the free bus service to Maspalomas. Good breakfast.
- Jakub (6/5): Room for improvement - Overall opinion is just ok because hotel 4star+ deserve max 3stars-
Water in swimming pools and water pool on the roof was very cold below air temperature, jacuzzi was out of order all the time (we make aware reception about the issue 2nd day of stay, but nothing was resolved, we was just informed that technician looking at it).
The room was supper small but very clean. Beds for couple was made from two single disconnecting beds with big gap between all the time.
Food at the restaurant was below standard of 3 star hotel, enough said that is better there. Quality of food was very cheap as for 4*+ hotel, about 40 mins before an end of service in the restaurant, buffet was missing lots of dishes and desert section was nearly empty and no one was adding anything for last customers. I would recommend to read comments before booking as I didn’t often before.
- Alamgir (10/5): Gran Canaria trip - From reception staff to cleaning and catering staff , all was exceptional , really enjoyed the stay .
As a gym user equipment could have been better , jacuzzi was out of action , outside pool with jets after a good workout to cool down was a nice end to the day .
Wifi was poor in my room .
Location to beach is short walk but nice scenic route .
- Paul (6/5): It was OK - Food not so great In the evenings - My recommendation would be take breakfast package only here - no provision for solo travelers to have a double bed as it’s only 2 single beds next to each other
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The poperty is very cute, spacious and charming - I felt comfortable from the moment I’ve arrived.
