• Tamara (9/5): Great host. Lovely apartment. Excellent location. - We were met by the host who was enormously helpful. The apartment was in a great location with a lovely little balcony with a beautiful view. It was very comfortable with everything you could possibly need at hand. The apartment is located above local bars and gets quite noisy in the evenings. Earplugs worked fine as a solution, but if you are very noise sensitive perhaps think twice.
• Anneclaire (10/5): Wonderful stay in a perfect location - Lia met us outside the apartment to direct us to the parking space outside of the building. She showed us around her beautiful apartment and even stocked the fridge with beverages and food. The apartment was immaculately clean and had plenty of towels and toiletries. We did not use the kitchen, but it was well stocked with everything needed. Lia was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities and even checked in with us the next day. The location was perfect, and we really enjoyed the view from the balcony. Nothing

She greeted us and made us feel at home. Property was very comfortable, cosy and super clean. Super location in the heart of the old town, close to Harbour and all the shops, cafes, restaurants. 1 bathroom for 5 people was a bit of a drawback but we managed anyway.

The apartment itself is beautiful and cozy and fit our family perfectly. The welcome snacks were much appreciated as were all of the attraction/restaurant recommendations! The apartment is located in the ideal spot to explore the old town. Can’t recommend Casa Ithomi enough!!! N/A We loved everything!!

• Jeanne (7/5): Good - The location was central to all activities but it was very noisy at night being right over top of a bar. There is a balcony with a lovely harbour view. The hostess had a bottle of wine and fresh fruit waiting for us. There were modern appliances and a spacious common area. The second bathroom was very small with only a toilet and a sink. So 4 of us had to share 1 shower in the morning. One of our party has mobility issues so the 2 flights of stars to get to the apartment and the small winding stairs to get to the bedrooms was an issue for her. This could have been clearly stated in the write-up for the apartment.
• Konstantinos (10/5): Exceptional - Words cannot describe how great of an experience my friends and I had staying here this summer. The host was one of the most accommodating people I have ever met. She had bought food and drinks for us for when we first arrived, the bathrooms were stocked with any thing we could need, and there was even a bag full of beach gear (rackets, volleyball, etc.) that we were free to take with us to the beach whenever we wanted. The host also texted us halfway through our stay to verify that everything was going ok, that we had everything we needed, and even notified us on the first day that a shelf in the fridge was broken and not to put anything on it (when another host could have simply accused us of breaking it on our last day). All in all, a beyond excellent experience! The house was excellent. Though the bedrooms may seem small at first sight, there was never a problem in terms of space for two or three people and all their baggage in the same room. The kitchen is excellent and, as mentioned, was very well stocked in anything we could've needed. The living room is great for hanging out during the evenings, and generally spacious enough where we felt very comfortable. There is an amazing view to the sea and the city from the front terrace (big enough for 4-5 people) and from a lot of the bedrooms. There is a great bar just in front of the street entrance to the house, and a lot of great restaurants for seafood within a minute's walk from the house. Given that it's located within the old city of Chania it's also very close to the main commercial area with all the small shops. All in all, the house is excellent on all fronts! Very highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Chania, you won't find many other accommodations like this in the city (if any at all)!!

• Bianca (10/5): Fabulous location with all amenities, with view over the harbour - The hosts - both Lia and her husband - are enormously helpful and welcoming. When we arrived, we found fruits and a nice breakfast in the fridge, waiting for us. Our stay started well. We also had a number of questions concerning restaurants, car rental, airports etc., and Lia provided useful information each single time. Much appreciated! The apartment is downtown (you cannot possibly get a better location), with view over the harbour, the rooms are chic, the kitchen is very well equipped. Each single space has well-functioning air conditioning. The apartment spreads over two levels, with a dining room / salon and kitchen on the first floor, and three bedrooms on the second floor. Given that the location is in the middle of everything, it is not even noisy (contrary to what we expected). We were a family with two small kids and had a magnificient time. The apartment has all amenities and offers proximity to whatever you are looking for: dinner by the water, a walk in the old Porto Venetto, different beaches, shopping etc. With Lia’s support, we rented a car and could also enjoy the island, some of the best restaurants and a few of the fantastic gulfs and lagoons that Crete has to offer. We can only recommend this location and are planning to return very soon.

Just a few steps from the harbor excellent restaurants and all the sites Of Chania. A big plus is the private parking area. Nice clean apartment with plenty of space and quiet. Can’t wait to return.
