• Cornelis (9/5): Geweldige lokatie die wij iedereen aanraden. - Aan alles was gedacht, bij aankomst was er vers fruit en diverse boodschappen lagen al in de koelkast. Het appartement was sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het appartement was ruim en goed doordacht ingericht. Voor ons een echte aanrader voor een volgend verblijf. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep soepel en deze reageerde snel. Als een lange Nederlander (1,94 m) was de douche aan de lage kant maar dit was voor mij als “kaaskop” niet iets om de volgende keer niet te boeken.

Just 10 minutes from Portree so easy access to restaurants and groceries so we could eat in and enjoy our stay the way we like. Beautifully decorated and with fine linens and body products.

• Geoffroy (8/5): - The location of this apartment was perfect and had an absolutely unbelievable view! Everything was very clean and welcoming upon arrival. There were several grocery staples stocked and some nice music playing when we got there. Overall, a wonderful experience. The streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+) didn't seem to be working. This was the only real issue I experienced, and to be fair, I didn't contact the host to try and resolve the issue.

• Carol (10/5): What’s not to love 😀 about this apartment - What’s not to love 😀 it was by far the best place we stayed on our trip in Scotland, we could happily have stayed longer. The food and wine supplied was a very nice touch and much appreciated. Good views across the Loch. Highly recommended. The step into the shower over the high sided bath is not ideal, it wasn’t a problem for us but if you have a mobility issue it could be.

A l’arrivée, plein de petites attentions : musique, nourriture dans le réfrigérateur, vin,… on se sent immédiatement chez soi ! Très bien situé au bord du Loch Fada, idéal pour partir en rando à pied au sommet du Storr, et au calme à quelques kilomètres de Portree. Merci à Fiona qui est aux petits soins pour ses invités pendant tout le séjour !
• Ekaterina (10/5): Who knew a 5 and a half hour drive from Glasgow would be THAT rewarding. - The cleanliness was incredible, everything was thought through to every single detail! Location is 5 mins from the best hiking spot - the old man of Storr, 5 mins up from there - the views are jaw dropping! And you are 8 mins from Portree. Midges haha 😂😂 (spray was kindly supplied for us by the owners)

• Gloria W (10/5): Highly recommend the Storr Apartments. - The Storr Apartments exceeded our expectations. The apartment was beautiful and spacious with contemporary furnishings. The view from our windows was amazing. We even had a close up view of cows from our kitchen window! Fiona provided lots of extras! From a comfy robe to delicious snacks and even a bottle of wine. Portree is not a walking distance, but we had no trouble finding a taxi. Fiona left a list of drivers to call.

• SMITA (9/5): Lovely place - a hidden gem - Very clean, nicely decorated and nice welcome gift by the host. Bathroom shower - having a shower inside a Soaking Tub -- makes VERY difficult to get in and out. Price - overpriced for a studio.
• Daniel (10/5): Highly recommended!!! - Location is fantastic. Directly by a lake, between Portree and the old man of storr. It is all new renovated. Very stylish and comfortable. Everything you need is there and is of high quality. Even Alexa is there to use. It can be tricky to park the car as it is a busy road at times. I recommend to back the car in so you will have it easier to drive away.
• Lech (6/5): Horrible. - All the facilities were the high quality, really first class. Very well maintained. We stayed in Fada unit. There were millions of biting midges, particularly around that unit, making it a horrible experience when entering or leaving the apartment. Opening the car door would let thousands of them in. And they bite, mosquitos in comparison are really nothing. To make it worse, my wife developed an allergy to their bites, a real disaster. The unit lacked A/C, we could not even open the windows. The fan (probably there to compensate for that?) helped to survive the nights. In the name of a basic honesty, the owner should make everyone aware about that major nuisance.
• Craig (9/5): This Is A Great Place - What a beautiful apartment! The bed was the most comfortable that we had during our 2 weeks in Scotland. The kitchen was well stocked with milk, eggs, bagels, wine and much more. We highly recommend! Wi-Fi was a bit tricky, but eventually we figured it out.

• Kenneth (10/5): Storr Apartments are a perfect place to stay while visiting Skye and Fiona is the perfect hostess. - We absolutely loved our stay at the Storr Apartments. I have nothing negative to say about the place. The location was great - beautiful and peaceful and within site of the Old Man of Storr formation. The accommodations were superb, well-designed, imaginative, and relaxing. The place was well-stocked for breakfast the following morning and also with numerous snacks and even a good bottle of wine. We got rained out one of our days and the Storr Apartment was the perfect place to hole up for the day, dine in, drink wine, and just enjoy the perfect shelter from the storm. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Fiona for a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Isle of Skye.
• Shehnaz (10/5): Exceptional - We absolutely LOVED this little apartment! The small touches like our name written in on the big chalkboard wall, the goodies/snacks that were left, and beautiful, peaceful music that was playing when we first walked in. Top notch! The perfect place for the middle of our trip where we could relax, cook and do some laundry in our own private apartment with gorgeous views of the loch nearby and Old Man of Storr! The only thing that was a bit awkward was the shower. The curtain, when drawn, creates a very small space to wash within the tub, wish it were slightly bigger. Also, not a fault of the property, but when the rain kicked up, hundreds of midges came out. This was our first time dealing with them and they’re basically Scottish mosquitos. They are in big clouds and came into the apartment when we were getting in and out one morning. They are vicious and bite like crazy! So bring bug spray!

• Lynne (10/5): Wonderful stay on the Isle of Skye - The Storr Apartments was our favorite place to stay on our 19 day trip throughout Great Britain. It was in a great location to explore the Isle of Skye - just 10 minutes from Portree and five minutes to the Old Man of Storr. The apartment was beautifully appointed and the refrigerator was stocked with essential items (eggs, cheese, bread, coffee, tea and treats) for our three night stay. We loved it and highly recommend staying there. Not a thing!

• Susan (10/5): One of the best places we stayed in Scotland! - Beautifully decorated, and great location about 3.5 miles north of Portee on way to Old Man of Storr. Loved all the provisions Fiona left. She was super responsive. Best thing was a separate washer and dryer and the dryer actually dried our clothes. After traveling around Scotland for over a week, it was nice to be able to do a load of laundry in less than 4 hours. Highly recommend Fiona’s place! Nothing

• Troy (10/5): Fabulous stay at an incredible property in the Isle of Skye. - Fiona suggested we follow her directions instead of Google Maps. She was spot on. The parking was great. Easy access to the keys. Immaculate presentation upon entry to the property. Beautiful views. Quiet location. Great launch point/home base for ALL that the Isle of Skye has to offer. Just minutes to the car park for our Old Man of Storr hike (which was fabulous). The bed was very comfortable. We stayed for three nights which was perfect. Out of all the places we stayed during our two weeks in Scotland, this property was absolutely our favorite. Thank you for the personalized touches and providing a wonderful stay for my wife and myself. Everything was great. No complaints or suggestions. They have it dialed in.

The bed was very comfortable though it could have been bigger for a truly luxurious experience. There were three separate heat controls that all worked differently, never could figure out 2 of them and there were inadequate instructions. The mirror clock and light in the bathroom didn’t work, but the very bright light telling the wrong time couldn’t be reset or fixed, it was very annoying. Also there was a lot of road noise.

It’s cosy, well decorated, bed comfortable, good linen, great lounge area, good view and parking right outside. Close to everything. Lovely to find a welcome bottle of wine and treats. Fridge was stocked with some breakfast basics. There is a washing machine and a separate dryer, which was very handy. It’s just a stunning apartment! It has ruined my husband though. He’s turning his nose up at our next destination because it’s not like our Storr Apartment! lol!

It has everything you need, washer, dryer, utensils, etc. The location is perfect for everything you need to get to on Skye; truly an exceptional stay. Honestly nothing I can think of, maybe would be nice to have a couple condiments in the room.

• Lyudmila (10/5): Book this now. You won't regret. - If you come to Scotland, you must visit the Isle of Skye. If you come to the Isle of Skye, treat yourself and stay at Storr Apartments. The location on the side of the lake is amazing, the views are mindblowing (as stated, you can see the Old Man of Storr out of the window at a certain angle). While there, make sure to do the Quaraing circuit hike and the Old Man of Storr hike (some sites say that if you must choose, pick the first one, but I would say make sure to do both - they can be done on the same day like we did). Both are easily accessible from this place. The pictures of the apartment do a good job showing everything as it is - it really is completely wonderful, comfortable, relaxing, and hard to leave. Nothing I can think of. Just a note that you do need a car for a comfortable stay.

• David (9/5): A wonderful, indulgent place to return to every night after exploring the amazing Isle of Skye - A beautiful, secluded retreat set across a stunning Loch. The apartment had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, the leather armchairs a joy. A fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook an evening meal and prepare our own breakfasts. It really felt like home Nothing.

• Cohen (10/5): Dream location for rest, relaxation, pampering, & a 10 min. drive to Old Man of Storr. - The location was literally within view of Old Man of Storr. You could step out your door and see it (see photo). We got up at 5 a.m. and had a 10 minute drive to the hike. It was perfect! The setting is unique in that there are only 3 rental properties that have a view of Old Mann of Storr and this family owns all of them. They run a first class operation and the amenities are exceptional in all respects. The house was stocked with snacks, food, drink, fresh eggs, lovely soaps, lotions, his and hers bath robes and slippers, heated floor in the bathroom, and more! Fiona was extremely helpful and responsive. She answered her phone and responded immediately. She also texted us to let us know that we could view the northern lights on one evening. So thoughtful! This rental is a dream destination and one you could just stay in for the sheer pleasure of being pampered. Bucket list must!! It was superb in all ways.
• Andrew (8/5): Very good - Beautifully decorated and nicely situated for Portree and attractions Close to main road made getting in and out a little tricky and did create come road noise at peak times (thought we got used to it as we were there 7 days). This is a studio apartment so not large given the price.
• Aaron (10/5): Fabulous place to stay. We loved it. - What an amazing place to stay. We rented both apartments and had a wonderful time. The apartments are beautifully designed and spacious. Right across the road from the Loch with lovely views and really peaceful. The added groceries were a pleasant surprise and made for a tasty breakfast the next day.
