- M (9/5): Beautiful location, great rooms and good service - simple and proper the lifts
- faxxii (8/5): Good stay at Alila - First time staying at Alila Bangsar. Used public transportation (LRT) to get there and was confused with the entrance (had to go and take a lift to the ground floor and then take another lift to the 41st floor [Alila's lobby]). Honestly felt like I was in a maze going through that.
Check-in was smooth and I was allowed to check-in around 1pm. Amenities were great, staff were friendly and helpful. Tried the breakfast room service and that was smooth as well. The only hiccup was that we experienced a short circuit when we moved the head of the reading light. Maintenance response was fairly quick and repaired it in less than 3 minutes.
I would stay here again.

- Go05133351913 (10/5): Fantastic Experience - Loved everything about this hotel. Stunning and great service. Will definitely be coming back.
- Guo Yi (10/5): -
- NURIV22 (10/5): Alila Bangsar is the best! - -Stylish & Instagram-worthy design
-Modern, minimalist luxury (wood, marble, greenery)
-Lobby on high floor gives a “wow” first impression
-Spacious, comfortable rooms. Big rooms compared to many KL hotels
-Clean, quiet, with strong water pressure (small detail but people love it)
-Great sleep quality ratings (around 4.6/5)
- Ayres (8/5): Smart hotel but not quite 5* service - Very smart hotel, well maintained and a great view of the city from the pool area For a 5 star hotel we expected a bit more, such as help with our luggage when we arrived. Feels close to a luxury hotel but could do with a fine tuning. The food is also quite expensive.
- mohd azraei (9/5): -
- 700frederickk (10/5): Amazing Stay at Alila - My stay at Alila was exceptional.
During breakfast, Izatul always carries a warm, genuine smile that instantly makes you feel welcome. Jarrob, the F&B Manager, is incredibly attentive and ensures every dining experience is seamless and memorable, he goes extra miles providing bananas when I say I need it as take away.
Atika treats guests like VIPs at the restaurant, adding a personal greeting touch that truly stands out.
Nurqhazierah (Ira) goes above and beyond, even sharing the hotel’s official WhatsApp to coordinate my housekeeping request effortlessly, which made my stay so convenient. It’s the collective effort of this amazing team that creates a true home away from home.
Not forgetting Mr Ihsan impressed me with his Lahore’s joke during checkout, so happy
I genuinely look forward to returning, service excellence is consistent across interaction, and the staff’s sincerity leaves a lasting impression that keeps Alila’s quality.
- Fedora (10/5): Very good - Quiet and serene hotel The room at 4018 (presumably below the restaurants) had noises of heavy chairs on the above floor being moved about) at night in between 10pm -10.45pm
- Chidambaram (8/5): Convenient and Nice - Location, clean, and nice interior NA
- Mariam (8/5): -
- Mohd Hafiz Putera (9/5): - The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay so smooth. Rooms were clean and comfy too. Highly recommend!" 😊.VJ and team were so friendly and the staff even packed us breakfast in the morning before after we checked out in the morning.

- Ming Xian (9/5): -
- Jeff (9/5): - Everything is nice, except the location, there is no any shops nearby. And surrounding difficult to buy things if less any Rooms and all the facilities are super nice, only one suggestion is to upgrade their old version TV. Not smart TV and less channel like 10 years ago model
- Marwa (10/5): -
- Mathivanan (9/5): - Good as usual The botanica and co restaurant not like last time. Seems dull and downgraded their menu

- Lim (9/5): meets expectations. - Room is clean and spacious. love the design/theme of the room. there is a coffee machine outside the lift lobby on every floor and some snacks as well, which is a nice touch. breakfast spread could be bigger. It kinda limited at the moment. there is also no bathtub in the room.,
- Aivaras (9/5): -
- Daniela (10/5): Best Staff Ever!! - The staff here are absolutely fantastic. They are so kind, patient and go above and beyond. Best staff ever.
Location is also great. Walking distance to the metro and Little India. Nothing

- Explorer45016756794 (10/5): Calm, Contemporary Urban Retreat Above Kuala Lumpur - My wife and I really enjoyed the feel of Alila Kuala Lumpur. From the moment we arrived, the hotel has a calm, elevated atmosphere — quite literally, since the lobby sits on the 41st floor, with guest rooms on floors 35 through 40. Checking in high above the city immediately makes the experience feel special and a bit removed from the bustle below.
The overall design of the hotel and rooms is warm, modern, and quietly refined. There’s a strong sense of intentional simplicity — clean, uncluttered, and cohesive — that creates a relaxing environment without feeling sterile. The spaces feel balanced and thoughtfully composed, giving the entire stay a peaceful, boutique-style character.
Breakfast is served on the ground floor, where the pleasant layout, natural greenery, and comfortable seating continue the same design language. The space has an easy, welcoming vibe that makes it a great way to start the day.
Overall, it was a delightful experience. Alila strikes a beautiful balance between contemporary style and calm comfort — a polished urban retreat in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
- Daniel (10/5): Very nice hotel - Really attractive interior, rooms great size and extremely clean, great pool and gym. Staff very friendly when we interacted Slightly further out of Kuala Lumpur, but the price correctly reflects this

- shannonrE8554AA (10/5): Great - Great location with easy connectivity to the Light rail trains. Clean rooms with some great snacks and coffee and comfortable pillow and sheets
- andrew (8/5): -
- HUI TING (8/5): An urban oasis, loved every moment. - Spacious room with a living room area was nice for my friend and I to catch up and chat all night.
It’s super convenient that there’s a world class restaurant in the same building.
Love the whole vibe. It was the easiest to get from our carpark to the room as the building layout isn’t the most straightforward. Not a big issue.

- K4783IFlizn (10/5): Don't hesitate to book here - We had a lovely stay at this hotel over the lunar new year. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were lovely and the food was great. I would definitely stay again.
- Footprints534019 (10/5): Amazing weekend gateaway - Overall experience was great and the hotel was luxurious for the price! Was surprised with the free coffee and snacks that was provided at the hallway, that was the first time i ever experience that. Room was clean and very comfortable, i loved it. Would 10/10 come again for any short weekend staycation.
- Extraordinary367129 (10/5): Excellent stay in Alila - Had an excellent stay in Alila, the facilities were awesome. Used the gym and satisfied with the equipments. Each floor has a coffee machine, snacks and ice lemon tea available at all times. The place is also closer to Brickfields, easier to go and get Indian food.
- Elangeswaran (10/5): -
- Amiratul Rahmah (10/5): Awesome! - Its clean and aesthetically pleasing. None
- TN (9/5): - Beautiful hotel, comfortable. Massive rooms. Lobby on the 41st floor, need two lifts to get to the rooms. Slow lifts, gym is tiny with limited equipment.
- Dinesh (10/5): -
- LuciaPrihandini (10/5): A very nice zen staycation place in the heart of Bangsar, such quiet luxury aesthetic place - A very nice zen staycation place in the heart of Bangsar, such quiet luxury aesthetic place. Spacious and super comfy room, nice pool, luxury amenities, aesthetic interior, nice food and beverage at Botanica Co+. Thank you so much Ms Noratiquah Norhaji for replying to my reservation inquiry, Mr Chris & Mr Lee for efficient check in process and warm welcome, Ms Atika & Mr Manaf from Botanica Co+ for assisting my meal delivery and to all Alila Bangsar staffs for great services and hospitality.
- Till (8/5): Eine gute Wahl - Ein außergewöhnlich stilvolles Hotel.
- Travelskin (10/5): Beautiful hotel near KL Sentral - We had a great experience at Alila. The location may not be the absolute best for those who may want to walk around but the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were very friendly.
- 603andrewj (10/5): Perfection tucked away! - Perfection! Away from
The hustle KLCC could ask more from this hotel. Room size staff the views.
The only thing to let it down is the breakfast id recommend venturing outside to discover the many hidden treasures the area has to offer
- Lien (7/5): -
- Yoshiki (10/5): -
- Winne (8/5): All good, only need pay RM19 per parking -
- traveltalesofales (8/5): Stylish Urban Retreat with Minor Trade-offs - Alila Bangsar delivers a surprisingly sophisticated experience for what's essentially a mid-tier price point. Perched on floors 35-41 of The Establishment building, this hotel nails the minimalist aesthetic—clean lines, natural materials, and those sweeping Kuala Lumpur skyline views that make you pause. The design by Neri & Hu is genuinely beautiful, blending concrete, wood, and brass accents into spaces that feel both calming and contemporary. What impressed me most was the value proposition: spacious rooms with thoughtful touches at rates that don't break the bank. Yes, there are some operational quirks and the property shows minor signs of aging since its 2018 opening, but the overall package works well for travelers seeking comfort and style without paying premium luxury prices.
LOCATION:The hotel occupies floors 35-41 of a mixed-use building in Brickfields, directly connected to Bangsar LRT station via a covered walkway—which sounds convenient until you realize there's virtually nothing walkable nearby. No cafes, no restaurants, no shopping worth mentioning. You're one stop from KL Sentral, which helps, but the immediate neighborhood is residential and uninspiring. If you're planning to explore KL properly, you'll be dependent on Grab or the LRT for everything. The area feels somewhat detached from the city's energy, which might appeal if you want isolation, but it's frustrating when you just want a quick coffee run.
DINE + DRINK:Botanica+Co handles breakfast on the ground floor, and it's genuinely disappointing for a property claiming five-star status. The rooftop bar is a spectacular place to be, especially at sunset to grab a surreal sundowner drink! My favorite feature was the "Alila Living Room" on each floor: complimentary espresso, filtered water, and snacks available 24/7. It's a thoughtful touch that genuinely enhanced my stay
ROOM: We stayed in Room 3804, so this review is based on that; SIZE: The rooms genuinely shine here—spacious (my studio was around 400 square feet), beautifully designed, and comfortable. The minimalist aesthetic uses dark woods, concrete, and brass fixtures to great effect; VIEW: Lovely views of the bangsar landscape and skyscrrapers ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: good spa quality toiletries
FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a decent range of weights, workout stations, and Cardio machines. The 40th-floor pool is the visual centerpiece—a beautiful multi-story atrium space with greenery and city views. The water runs cold, especially in the mornings, so be prepared.
SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of.
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

- buw2016 (10/5): Beautiful hotel - This is a beautiful hotel, especially the Bangsur suite and the pool. It is away from the downtown crowds but connected to a light rail station. We had a cute breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant and they even had the viral flat croissants! I would recommend for a stay in KL.
By the way, I saw some complaints about the elevator situation, which I don't understand. Many highrise hotels require you to take one elevator to the lobby and then another to the rooms. Only difference here is that you go down from the lobby to the rooms rather than going up. Not sure why this is an issue.
- Zac (10/5): Happy customer, great value for money - Room, viw and location The pool didnt get much sun during the daytime
- Scenic54417530617 (10/5): Outstanding courtesy with a warm, energetic, and attentive welcome. Convenient location near Bangsar LRT, minor train no - Alila Bangsar enjoys a strategic location near the Bangsar LRT station, offering great convenience. On the other hand, the train noise at night can be a minor disturbance, which was a small flaw in the overall stay experience. Besides than Noise, the rests are just wonderful and amazing.
- hafizw2026 (10/5): “Luxurious stay with friendly staff, beautiful interior & comfy rooms. Kids had fun, everything smooth. Will come again! - At first, I was a bit hesitant to spend on Alila because it’s quite expensive compared to the hotels we usually go to. But after reading many good reviews about Alila, and since I wanted to do something different for my husband’s birthday celebration, I decided to proceed anyway. And it turned out that Alila did not disappoint at all.
“Luxurious” is the right word. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. All the photos and videos we took during our stay were beautiful because the interior design is stunning — even starting from the lifts! The staff were all friendly and always smiling.
Although there is no kids’ pool, our kids still had a great time with the simply designed pool. Plus, it wasn’t crowded, so it was very peaceful for the kids to enjoy the pool by themselves. They also loved the free-flow chips provided. My mom, on the other hand, really enjoyed the free-flow coffee machine at the entrance of each level.
Everything provided in the room was high quality, and the bedding set was so comfortable.
All in all, we were very satisfied and can’t wait to come back to Alila again to make more memories.
- Werner (9/5): -
- Seet Ye (8/5): will come back again - there is a lot of snack and coffee serve outside from our room. the room is clean and spacious, worth for the money the parking rate very expensive.
- Rajesh (9/5): -
- Anand James (9/5): -
- Manish (10/5): - Breakfast was good. There should be more options for pure vegetarian people
- Hoong (9/5): -
- Kia Min (7/5): -
- Shadab Ansari (10/5): Excellent -
- Sharifah (10/5): -
- dunwastecalories (10/5): Will be back - Great view of KL, no noise in room and from environment, great wifi (as mobile data was not good on high floors)
- cheeweil2026 (2/5): Very disappointing stay - Very disappointing experience
I informed the hotel in advance that it was my wife’s birthday. The hotel confirmed by email that they would arrange a cake and a card, but nothing was done at all, with no explanation. Very unprofessional.
The bathroom was dirty, and cleanliness was clearly below standard.
The surrounding area felt uncomfortable and unsafe, especially at night.
Parking was extremely inconvenient. After parking, we had to change elevators three times just to reach the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel.
The only positive point is the direct bridge linking to the MRT.
- Tiffany (9/5): Would recommend, bit out the way - Loved the pool and reception area as well as the doormen For such a new room it wasn’t well finished
- Hafiz (8/5): -
- Kek Ming (7/5): Quiet and comfortable stay, but you find a lot of better options with this price - Very serene and comfortable! The location and value for money. It wasn’t much to do at the hotel or the surrounding area. Also the price doesn’t reflect the overall experience
