Yoshihide (10/5): Good base for sightseeing in Shirakami mountains - This hotel is a good base for sightseeing in the world heritage, Shirakami mountains. It only takes about a 25-minute drive to the gate of the mountains, the Aqua Green Village Anmon. The visitor center is next to the hotel so you should visit this in advance to get all the information you need about Shirakami mountains. This venue is quite old but they provide good breakfast and dinner at a tatami-style restaurant without chairs. Instead of using chairs, you sit on cushions (zabuton) on the tatami mat. Also, they have a hot spring but it is open to the public which means people who are not guests can also use this. They have a hot spring for hotel guests only but it's very small. The hotel staff are very accommodating. They kindly answered all the questions I asked. They have free parking and free wifi. There are photos and autographs of celebrities in the lobby who stayed in the hotel.

Verified traveler (6/5): 荒郊野外啥都没有 - 蛮老的酒店，预订是不含晚餐的，结果到了之后被告知不提供单点，连最基本的咖喱饭都木有！而且周围5公里之内没有任何餐厅！于是只能开十几公里到弘前市内吃晚饭.......
