• Kathleen (10/5): - Terrific location. Small, personal feeling with a warm welcome from Tanya. Comfy bed. Modern shower. The kitchenette with breakfast supplies and fresh bread and pastry delivered each morning worked very well for us.
• Petra (8/5): Eine Menge Vorschriften für sehr viel Geld - Tolle Lage, sehr sauber Bad und Toilette wie eine Bühne, voll verglast. Auf dem Weg vom Schlafzimmer in die Küche kannst du deine Mitreisenden auf der Toilette oder unter der Dusche bewundern. Hier wäre Milchglas angebracht. Das warme Wasser reicht zum Duschen für 2 Personen exakt 2x 10 min. Wehe man hat lange Haare. Außerdem ließ sich die Armatur nur schwer bedienen und dann muss man für den nächsten Duschslot, 2 Stunden warten. Auf all diese Besonderheiten wird man sehr uncharmant durch Aushänge hingewiesen. Der Wortlaut: Das ist kein Palast und du bist weder Prinzessin noch Prinz…. Liebes Team! Ich bin eine Prinzessin. Immer! Weil ich es mir wert bin. Ich behandle mich, mein Umfeld und die Umwelt wertschätzend und so möchte ich auch behandelt werden. Frühstück auf dem Zimmer ist für mich okay, obwohl das für 300,00 EUR die Nacht schon heftig ist. Das Frühstück muss selbst zubereitet werden und es gibt Eier, Butter, Brötchen, Joghurt und Obst. Für mich in Ordnung, jedoch meine Begleitung hätte gerne etwas Käse oder Wurst gehabt. Wir mussten es uns selbst kaufen.
• Manuela (9/5): Perfect location to explore the city, nice and clean :-) - The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the city. It was very quiet and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it. The beds are very comfortable.

Facilities good room very comfortable and the breakfast delivered each morning was very enjoyable. The staff also helped with organising a tour for us! All good . Only thing a bit different was the glass doors into the bathroom/toilet area. But you could shut a door before it for some privacy.

The location was fantastic . Easy to walk everywhere and to find a restaurant. The staff were great and so helpful. They even booked us a tour to Sintra which was one of our highlights. Breakfast every morning was delicious! We highly recommend Dare Lisbon House.

Only draw back is returning back to hotel one evening past 11pm and the street felt a lot less safe at that time. Homelessness is a sad problem in the city.

• ElffromNewJersey (10/5): This small hotel offers comfortable rooms and elevated service - This well situated boutique hotel is full of charm and very well appointed. From top end appliances in the well stocked kitchen to the small wine bar in the lobby,lots of thought went into planning this property. The bathroom was the only area I would advise some revision. The heavy glass doors are noisy and cumbersome so if someone is sleeping, they might be disturbed if another uses the restroom. The service is top level. The staff is especially knowledgeable and engaging. Pedro was what every concierge should be. I would not hesitate to return

• Anthony (10/5): Most comfortable of the 4 places I stayed in Portugal - Great location. Unique way of serving breakfast (In Room - fruits and fresh breads), but not available until 8 am. Loved the healthy aspect. Room was great, large. Kitchen well appointed. Loved sitting at the table looking out of the french doors and enjoying good coffee (in room) and breakfast. Would stay here again. All good. Earlier breakfast option would have been helpful one morning, but still had yogurt and fruit with bread from the previous day.

Our apartment was fully stocked with fresh fruit, milk, eggs and more AND, it was replenished every day! Fresh bread and pastries were delivered to our door every morning as well. I could go on but you get the drift, the experience was exceptional and I can't recommend it highly enough. Not a single thing could have been better.
• 936k_tlink (10/5): The perfect blend of style, comfort and art - I had such a beautiful stay at Dare Lisbon House. The hotel feels more like an art gallery than a typical place to stay. I highly recommend taking the stairs, as beautiful pieces of art unfold on every floor, turning a simple walk into a little experience. The rooms were thoughtfully designed, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. I especially loved the kitchen setup - such a smart and stylish solution that made the space feel even more like home. And the bed… I had one of the best sleeps in a long time. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, yet surprisingly peaceful. Even though it’s in a busy area, we couldn’t hear anything during the night, which made it incredibly relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a special stay in Lisbon.

• mgfvvcjl (10/5): Fantastic stay in Lisbon - We had a fantastic time staying at this quirky but original boutique hotel in downtown Lisbon. From the moment we got there the staff were so helpful and arranged trips, restaurants and spent time talking to us over coffee and wine. We stayed for 3 nights and was not disappointed at all, loved the do-it-yourself breakfast, great idea. Very centrally located and allows easy access to major attractions and viewpoints and extremely friedly staff makes it even better. Not to miss in Lisbon!!

• JacquiandJohn (10/5): The best place I have stayed in Lisbon - This place was ideal for us. The location is perfect - right in the centre, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, sights, metro, train station, etc. The rooms are not large, but they have a beautiful bathroom, and kitchen facilities(including a dishwasher!) and a table for eating (or working). Breakfast is taken in your room: cereal, yoghurt, fresh orange juice, eggs, tea/coffee and fresh bread and pastries. You make/serve yourself when you want - no rush, no queues, no shortage of food! The bar only serves wine (red, white or rosé) but it’s complimentary! We enjoyed a glass as an aperitif most evenings. The building is old and they have retained some original features, while refurbishing and installing modern conveniences. We loved it.

• John (9/5): Fabulous stay with a fun breakfast concept - What a special place to stay in Lisbon. The room has a small kitchen with cooktop, refrigerator, sink and small dishwasher. Super comfortable bed. Timber shutters to make the room dark. Great view overlooking the streets, we even had a tiny balcony. Perfect location in the middle of everything. The best thing is breakfast! Each morning a calico bag is left on the door handle containing two pastries and a small loaf of delicious bread. In the fridge, replaced each day, are fresh eggs to cook, yoghurt, cereal & granola, jam, butter, syrup, olive oil, bottle of fresh milk and enough oranges to freshly squeeze orange juice…with an electric juicer! No need to rush downstairs for breakfast, we could take our time in the room in the morning and also eat the leftovers later in the day. Absolutely loved the concept!
• feminnis (10/5): Extremely kind and helpful staff - The most impressive part of our stay here was interacting with the staff. We arrived around 11:00 am and we were able to check in early, which was great after 20 hours of travel. Sara was incredibly comprehensive in helping us settle in. Fabio had amazing dining recommendations, and charmed us with his sweet attitude. Alice was extremely knowledgeable when annotating our map to help us locate attractions and markets for basic necessities. She even booked a fado dinner experience for us! Aside from the staff, the room was cozy, well-stocked, and clean. The free t-shirt was a nice added touch, and the top-floor view was lovely.

Fui con nuestro bebé y un perrito y fue una estancia para repetir. Todos los días te dejan pan y dulces en la puerta, además de la fruta y cositas que te van reponiendo en la nevera. Volveremos sin duda No hay nada que no me gustara, pero sí que eché de menos una zona de salón / sofá. Ya que íbamos con un niño pequeño y pasamos más tiempo en el apartamento y habría estado bien poder tener una zona así.

• 449kennethm (10/5): A wonderful but too brief stay in Lisbon - We DAREd to try out Dare Lisbon House for a brief post-cruise stay in Lisbon, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Tania did a fantastic job not only greeting us as we arrived, but also helping to arrange both sights and dining that were accessible for a very mobility-challenged member of our group. (Speaking of which, the elevator in the hotel was a god-send in that regard.) The rooms were generously sized, with a large and excellent bathroom/shower, and while the rooms with a balcony are *barely* large enough to sit outside on, they add a lot of charm and even people-watching. We also enjoyed the distinctive breakfast approach, with delicious bread and pastries and fruit and jam and cheese, and also enjoyed the separate and nicely furnished kitchenette room to eat it in. We only spent a couple of days in Lisbon, but really enjoyed our stay, and appreciated how central Dare Lisbon House was to many tourist destinations, yet also quiet and tucked away. Thanks for a great stay!

The rooms are very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff are there to help with booking transportation, excursions and even restaurant recommendations. Your kitchenette is stocked with yogurt, fruit, cereal and fresh fruit every day. The best surprise was having fresh bread and pastries dropped off at the door every morning! Book this place - you won't regret it!

• Scenic771932 (10/5): Excellent stay at Dare Lisbon House - Dare Lisbon house is the perfect place to stay in Lisbon. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and in the beautiful historic downtown area. The tram is close by and we used to go see the Monastery. Staff are superb!!! Our room was beautiful, clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked each day.
• Ninnath (10/5): Overall was amazing - - The room was cozy and spacious enough for three large suitcases. - The location was perfect for strolling around Lisbon’s old town - There’s a convenience store nearby and plenty of restaurants around - I love how they provide kitchenware and some groceries for breakfast, such as skimmed milk, fruits, and eggs in the fridge. You can also find whatever you like at the nearby supermarket and enjoy your breakfast anytime you want

Really valued the small kitchen in the room as and the produce provided for breakfast. Lovely helpful staff. Sound proofing is not great but it is an old building and some noise must be expected in a city centre location.

• robertsT9956QX (10/5): Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Lisbon - This is a charming and very clean lodging pretty much smack in the middle of an area full of shops and restaurants. The hotel is well maintained and quite clean and each room has a wonderful kitchenette. Rather than a communal kitchen they deliver food for breakfast to your room each day along with a loaf of freshly baked bread each morning. The staff is friendly and helpful. And even though it's in an area with a lot of foot traffic, by 10 or 11 at night it's perfectly quiet.

Small boutique hotel that makes you feel welcome from the moment you step into the beautiful bar/lobby. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed; great windows, modern bathrooms and the morning breakfast surprise left on the doorknob, is something to look forward to every time. We will continue to recommend this hidden gem.

They provide all the supplies for your breakfast You juice your own oranges. The granola and fruit was nice.. Much prefer this to the buffet. The fact is that it is a hotel, the great staff, especially Pedro, provide excellent information maps and ideas of what to do. I loved the freeby wine and fruit at the reception as well.😄 Nothing

I walked everywhere and the staff made great restaurant recommendations! 100% had a perfect stay❤️ This is so minor but they gave me too much bread every morning and I just ended up giving it to people who were in need!

• Anna (10/5): - This hotel was a little gem! From the moment we met Philippa after a 2 day long trip from Canada we knew me were in a warm and welcoming place. The service was impeccable! The room and bathroom were tiny but spotless and the kitchenette was well stocked with everything from fresh eggs, milk, fresh fruit, and the best thing was the sack of fresh baked pastries and baguette left on our door every morning! Loved it❤️
