• 210AntonioM (8/5): Cute place, with fully furnished rooms, convenient for airport walking transfers. - The proximity with the airport (walking distance) is very convenient. The place is cute and with character, with fully furnished rooms. It is located in a small town with nothing much to offer though. When I stayed, there was only one person to manage everything for the breakfast, resulting in messy place, missing things, delayed request.

• May (6/5): - hotel was located in the middle of nowhere. it was deceptive to advertise that it was within a short walking distance from/to the airport. one would have to across very busy wide roads with suitcases. no elevator. we had two large suitcases as we were going on a cruise. we struggled to get to our room. breakfast - flies buzzing over a pathetic spread.

• John (10/5): - This B&B is within walking distance of the Valetta airport. It is a converted older home with a charming courtyard. Warning: There are stairs to climb to reach the rooms. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
• Keith (4/5): - It wasnt indicated that we were on the second floor and up two flights of circular stars. Also lighting was dull making it difficult to see the way. Many steps carrying heavy suitcases was more difficult. The outside lock difficult to see in the dark as was the room lock.

However, a takeaway breakfast was prepared for us which was nice. Our room and bathroom were very nice and clean. It was in a local neighborhood very near the airport. It was very much worth the price.
• John (10/5): Beautiful surprise B-N-B wonderful stay - We enjoyed our stay, the king size bed was so comfortable. The ac worked great, the bathroom and shower was also great! We rested well and spent some time at the pool. This bnb is so wonderful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful so much food to choose from. We will definitely be back.

• sandymF8492AT (8/5): Lovely B and B within walking distance of the airport - I had a very early morning flight and so booked a night at the Talbot. It is an easy ten minute safe walk through well lit streets (nb cross the main road bt the airport at the pedestrian crossing to ensure you are walking on the pavement not the road which is what Google map suggested). Although it doesn't seem much from the outside, and it's in a residential area without many options for food/socialising, it's beautiful and well renovated. The room was great - very clean and decent size with coffee machine and good sized bathroom. There is also a pool. The proximity to the airport means there are lots of bolts and users nearby who can come quickly to take you somewhere more lively if need be. I arrived after reception had closed and didn't see any staff- but the instructions were good and clear in terms of finding the room.

The prooerty was clean, comfortably, and stocked with everything i needed and more! Clear instructions for everything. I highly recommended Talbot and Bons ❣️

The only thing my husband and I were undecided about was the wine room because they only are a B&B and no one was there or available for their beautiful wine room. The sofabed mattress was quite thin and all the pillows far too fat for our liking. Breakfast was lovely. My children enjoyed making their own freshly squeezed orange juice.

The staff could not have been more helpful and were always warm and friendly. The airport is a short walk, with regular bus routes travelling all over the island. We hope to be back soon!

Friendly staff, attentive and breakfast so nice. Spent one night before we moved on. Close to the airport. Stairs to the room and ours was on the third floor. So if you are averse , then request a room on the lower floors. But otherwise fantastic experience and would highly recommend !!!!

There were menus to order food and a wine bar, but no staff and no restaurants near by. Only saw one man cross the street near the hotel. The check in instructions were clear. Room was clean but a little dark. The three prongs adapter provided by the hotel was broken. It’s too late to get help from the staff to get another adapter. Staff replied to my message in the morning and they have some adapters in the front desk for me to borrow. The breakfast was very good, you can make fresh squeezed orange juice and smoothie.

The hotel is just a 5 minute drive from Malta's airport. I would definitely recommend and/or come back.

Not great and kids refused to eat it. Also noise from the room above, which sounded like a washing machine on spin, kept us awake most of the night

• John (8/5): Ideal Stay for Early Flight - I enjoyed my stay & the room was clean, well-stocked. I was expecting to hear the flights from the nearby airport, but the thick walls meant the room was very quiet. The only thing I suggest is you let people know in February, dining is limited in Gudja & you need to pay cash or Revolut only - no credit cards accepted. As I had used the last of my cash before travelling home, I had to buy food from a local mini market (there are two in the village & only one takes credit cards/Apple Pay) and eat it back in the room

We were lucky to have been followed shortly after being denied access by another couple who was staying there and opened the door for us. It has character and offers a comfortable place to stay with nice amenities. And what a sweet village Gudja is. Wish I had more time to explore here.

• Virginia (8/5): - For us it was a traditional Maltese dwelling which was nice after spending a week at an exclusive resort. Diana was super nice and we were able to get into our room early. She booked a taxi for us for an early morning pickup to the airport. The room was nice and comfortable. The only issue we had was our sink faucet was loose and hard to operate.

Plenty of space in the room, very comfortable bed, great coffee and lovely people. Good breakfast included. Conveniently by the airport too so close to dining options in the evenings.

• Andy (2/5): Wouldn’t stay again - The building has not been damp proofed and smells of mould. Overall very tired rooms and I wouldn’t call it boutique. Staff very friendly. The worst part is boiler or pump making hushing noise every 5 seconds, impossible to sleep.
• Renee (10/5): Beautiful property but pack with stairs in mind - Our recent stay at Talbot and Bons was amazing. The rooms were spacious, modern, and lovely, and the property was beautiful. The only thing I wish I had understood was that we might have to carry heavy luggage up several staircases. If you have any mobility challenges or expect heavy luggage, I would recommend requesting accessibility.
• annenZ143CS (2/5): Not recommended - This was a real disappointment! Hotel was deserted by 3:00 pm with no staff to check you in or help tote luggage up the treacherous old outdoor stairs. The room was tiny with low doorways and a step up into the bathroom… possibly great for hobbits but not for average sized humans. Dirty wineglasses and curtains. Underwhelming brown bag breakfast for early morning departure. We would not stay here again.
• David (10/5): - This a lovely courtyard style property ideal for the airport. Rooms are very clean and have beautiful exposed stone. The bathroom is very luxurious. The continental breakfast was delicious and it’s lovely to eat in the courtyard on a sunny morning. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

• Christopher (10/5): - We booked this property as we had an early morning flight out and didn't want the inconvenience of returning the hire car out of hours. Really close to the airport (10 min walk) but didn't hear an aircraft at all during our stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful (even packed us a breakfast top take with us in the morning). Property was quirky but spotless and well kept. They have done a great job of squeezing everything in so the pool is fine for cooling off in, but too small to swim in. Nothing is far away in Malta, but a Bolt was only ca. €10 into Valletta.
• Dexter (10/5): - The property was definitely charming with all the limestone and warm lighting. The location is fantastic for proximity to the airport but otherwise there is not much to do or limited dining options. The pool was a huge asset for cooling off and the staff were friendly and accommodating allowing us to check in early. If you have any mobility issues you may want to avoid this place as there are lots of stairs.

The rooms and beds are comfortable, and they provide small touches/amenities in the room just to help you out (e.g., power converters, water, coffee, an assortment of snacks, hair ties). Loved it! The areas outside the property are great for relaxing too! We had take-away in the garden space for a dinner, and it was quite lovely. The front staff are super friendly and the luggage stow feature proved very helpful! We dropped our bags early, and were able to visit a nearby attraction before checking in formally and settling in for the night. A very nice amenity. I would stay here again (we had 2 rooms for 4 traveling companions) - everyone happy and slept well!

It is very welcoming and nicely decorated, having the rustic look well-blended with a modern touch. The room was well-equipped with all necessities. The pool area is small but very nice. The breakfast served is varied and tasty. Very close to the airport within walking distance. Highly recommended 😊

Breakfast is simple but is enough, pool is small with only 6 loungers but the maximum we saw were 4 people. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the airport; you can hear the planes accelerating for take off but it is very brief and not that loud. Staff were friendly, room was clean.

I have to go airport late night, Though the hotel doesn’t have 24*7 reception or staff but everything is handy. It was a lovely and safe stay.. There was less options for breakfast for my mother, as she doesn’t eat non veg so they helped us to reheat our food in their oven.. Thanks to the helping staff,, I don’t remember the name but you know who you have helping staff.
