- Mytea (8/5): Relaxing Time during songkran - Original 100 year old Thai house Nothing

- Miu (10/5): This place is really really good for taking a break from everything. I sleep very well every night. So I extend another - This place is very clean and well decorated. The owner speak good english and super nice. The location is perfect !Markets and restaurants are just within 5 minutes walk! nothing

- Jessica (9/5): Clean, friendly and worth your money! - Owner was super friendly, she helped us with the taxi the next day and gave us info where to eat and more. The room was simple but has what you need. The shared bathrooms were clean and in good shape. Bed was also clean and comfortable. It was really hot, the only window was next to a different building so there was almost no fresh air coming in. An airco instead of a fan would be a good choice in the rooms. But still I had a decent sleep and it’s not a complaint.
- carolina (10/5): - Llevamos muchos años volviendo a este hogar de Trat.Gracias por todo mummy.Suerte.
- USHINSKII (8/5): - Чисто,мило,рядом с автовокзалом. Тонкие стены
- David (8/5): A brief but enjoyable stay in Trat the market most excellent - Welcoming, convenient, quiet and relaxing Keeping an eye on the traffic outside
- Ellen (7/5): Lovely owners - It was really nicely decorated in the guesthouse.
I couldnt cope with just a fan, it just blew hot air around the room. Thats my fault though as I didnt realise there was no air con. There were a lot of mosquitos in my room also. The shared bathroom was clean enough and the shower worked well. The owners were very lovely and helped me with getting a taxi to the pier to go to koh chang.for £8 a night it was worth the money. The lack of air con and you couldnt point the fan in the room at your bed, it swings around. There was only one fan in the shared area also so it was very hot.
If you can cope with the heat though, there are no complaints.

- Loredana (10/5): Tutto eccezionale!!! - Ottima posizione, la signora e il signore che gestiscono la struttura persone impeccabili, attenti, professionali. Pulizia straordinaria, letto comodo, tutto perfetto. A volte di notte le “lotte” tra i gatti. Un incubo

- Jonathan (9/5): - Really convenient location for a base. Bo the guesthouse owner/manager was very helpful and spoke good English which was great as my Thai is nonexistent except with translator.
Amenities were more than adequate and plenty of local food options nearby as well as the obligatory seven eleven 😀
As a bonus the guesthouse had bicycles you could use for free , very nice touch.

- Grace (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Kaylie (8/5): Very good - It was colorful and nicely decorated. The room was simple but it had everything we needed for the one night we stayed.
- Mykhailo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahel (7/5): Good - Lady of the house is good for the guests.
Place to sit in a chair outside the room. There was a lot of noise from other People, a lot smoke of pod, hash. Noise from the street in the night, cars or scooters. I did not sleep well.
No airco, too warm in the room. Room is quit small. The owner is quit crumpy, it feels like you are not welcome .
- Mykhailo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (8/5): Very good -
- Vaagland (8/5): Very good -
- Benat (3/5): Avoid place and area - Nothing at all! Very old room and staff not helpful at all, dirty shower and toilet at all times.
- Pawel (9/5): Superb - Nice common spaces, beautifully decorated
Good atmosphere, great owners, help you get wherever you go next. A bit hot in the rooms, no AC
- Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional - clean and good location
- Andrew (6/5): Two easy things to improve comfort is all. - General atmosphere, owners, approach. Mosquito factory!, and no bed net nor any means to hang one. It doesn't cost much to avoid dengue etc. Room had no ventilation - I could only survive by leaving the door wide open to get some draft going.
- Andy (10/5): Can’t smoke inside, which is fine; better many ways - Quiet Can’t smoke
- Zarkog (7/5): Good -
- Calum (9/5): Superb - Good location, nice stop in a less touristy part of Thailand before heading to the islands or Cambodia. If you are heading to koh chang let the owners know and a taxi will arrive at 10am to take you to the port for 80bhat.
Very good value for money The room was close to a road and I'm a light sleeper, still wouldn't stop me from staying again just ask for a room away from the road
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Spotlessly clean. Great location. Lovely owners. Nice atmosphere. Interesting decor in a traditional Thai hose.. For a price I was very happy. All good.
- Tim (10/5): Awesome attention to detail. - As ever the attention to detail was awesome. From the above average bedding, towels and overall spotless Guesthouse. Can positively recommend as in a fantastic location and the host and hostess are super helpful. Book early to avoid disappointment! Nothing
- Tim (10/5): Brilliant - My second stay at Baan Jaidee this trip. As before the guesthouse is impeccable. The best appointed Guesthouse I have stayed at in all of Thailand.
Excellent value.
Close to all amenities (market, attractions, restaurants etc.).
Along with free bike hire!
Again, book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Brilliant. Leaving.
- Tim (10/5): Absolutely fantastic. - Absolutely fantastic. A true Guesthouse. You did truly feel like a guest in someone's beautiful home. The host and hostess were super friendly and helpful. Every area was spotless and the beds super comfy. A must stay if you are visiting Trat. Oh, the poached eggs on toast are to die for......
Do book ahead as gets full quickly. Nothing.
- Francoise (10/5): Perfect stay - Nice old house, very friendly and kind owners
Excellent location next to markets
Free bicycles available to explore Trat
30 minutes slow walk to the bus station
Lounge for sitting downstair
Bathrooms really nice, clean and everything working
Lovely decorations by serge who is a collector Room a bit hot during the afternoon but it is an old wooden house
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully furnished guesthouse, quirky and unique interior design with simple but comfortable bedroom.
Queen size bed at a really good price.
- Martina (5/5): Passable - In the accommodation you have to take off your shoes at the entrance. Unfortunately one of our shoes was stolen and size 45 is not available here so it was quite a big hassle. 1st day of vacation. The shoes cost 60 euros and were new
- Guido (8/5): Po is the best Guesthouse keeper of Asia, -
- Javi (10/5): Bucolic ambient - Everything!
- Christiana (9/5): Unbeatable value and super atmospheric - It was fun to stay in a traditional Thai house, and quite comfortable if you like firm mattresses. With the fan we we were quite comfortable and shared bathrooms were fine. Hostess had lots of advice and breakfast was huge plate of fruit and whole wheat toast. We enjoyed walking around trat- visited city pillar, ATzm market before heading off to Koh Kood. WiFi was good Some marijuana smoke upstairs, but not near our room.
- Erica (8/5): Historic Home in Trat - Very knowledgeable and helpful owner. The traditional teak house is beautiful. Great breakfast available. The walls are very thin. I could hear coughing and snoring from other rooms.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location, great hosts (Poo and Serge), very welcoming and charming atmosphere, nice house.
Finally it is one of the few „real guesthouses“ left.
I would always come back (and done so in the last 10 years)
- William (8/5): Great value guesthouse, nice and friendly place to stay! - Good brekkie and nice communal area to chat travellers. Cool old school feel with the dressing and aesthetic of the place! Old timber boarded walls and floors have no sound insulation so any noise made by other guests is pretty loud.
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Glen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicolina (6/5): It was ok - It was ok
- Alessandro (10/5): Exceptional - All was wondefull!!!!!
- Tristram (7/5): Good -
- Thehemell (9/5): Superb -
- Pirone (10/5): Nice clean and chill - The owner make really good omelets for breakfast, they gave us bicycle for free and everything is very very clean the position also really good 👍🏻
- Cassandra (10/5): Classic simplicity with reminders of a more colorful time. - For the price this is the best place to stay in Trat to make a trip to the islands or to Cambodia. It’s only 1.3km from the Bus Station so I walk. The traditional wood framed house with airy split level walkway is charming as is the 60s and 70s antiques in the building. Owner is lovely person. Some people would want AirCon…but not me, Trat is close enough to smell the sea on the breeze, which I enjoyed this morning on a fresh and windy day.
- Glen (10/5): Warm hearted & exceptionally good care - - 'Baan jaidee' means 'warm heart', and, this is exactly what the owners have and radiate. Po and her husband are welcoming and very kind. They take exceptionally good care of their guests.
- The bedroom and 2 shared bathrooms are very clean.
- The guesthouse is neatly decorated with curiosa from Asian countries. Cool!
- The guests are very quiet during the evening and night. (I could sleep in until 8 (and even later), which felt rejuvenating.)
- Don't miss Po's breakfast: it's tasty. And good news for the coffee lovers: the coffee here is fresh and strong.
- I stayed 3 nights, which gave me time to explore Trat (Wat Buppharam, the lake and night market), to read (Márquez) and to relax.
- ขอบคุณมาก! Thank you very much for the nice stay! 🙏
- Leonardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eveliina (8/5): Very good -

- Sedat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Satya (7/5): Peaceful, restful space. - This is a quaint guesthouse. It's got an interesting collection of this and that decorating the space. Hosts were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and peaceful and a good place to rest. I enjoyed the balcony outside the bathrooms. Interesting night market and also Vegan festival at the time. There was a lack of cafes open serving western food, so getting food I could eat was a problem.
