- elizabeth (10/5): - This place was so amazing! In the perfect spot in Prygos! Literally next door to some mideval ruin walls that someone turned into a vegetable garden. A quick 2 minute walk to amazing churches, a castle, a museum, and amazing restaurants! It’s also authentic because it’s the only mideval town that isn’t harassed by tourism. Here, you meet and talk to the Greek owners of the few tourist shops. You are living next door to Greeks who actually live here and let their children catch the pyrgos bus to school. You get to see the donkey deliver water bottles to the local restaurants. The location is perfect. The only thing that could’ve improved was that we were told we’d get housekeeping every 3 days, and since our trip was 10 days long, that would have been nice. But we only got housekeeping once in our stay. You may be told but you have to go out of your way to ask for it. Also the description says you’ll get instructions for going to the Kalamia cave house, we didn’t. At all. Even when we messaged the lady 48 hours ahead of time telling here our e.t.a. So you have to go out of your way to say “hey I need to know exactly how to get to the cave house and where to meet you so you can show me” because in Greece they don’t have addresses, as I found out on my taxi ride from the santorini airport (: good thing the taxi driver, as well as all Greek people, are extremely generous and kind. He let me use his phone and he called the owners of the cave house to come meet me, as they should
- Claudia (10/5): - Chris was an excellent host. He delivered us breakfast each morning and gave us great recommendations for things to do on the island! He really made our experience amazing!! The house was also very spacious and well looked after. It was in a great spot just up from the square and a small walk to Santo Wines. Would definitely recommend this property it is insane !
