• Johann (10/5): Perfekter Platz für einen wunderschönen Portugal-Urlaub! - Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut! Jeden Tag frisch gepresster Saft, Smoothie und viel frisches Obst, dazu frisch gebackene Brötchen und ein Gruß aus der Küche. Das Frühstück ist wirklich ein Genuss! Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, der Garten mit Pool wunderschön angelegt. Luz ist ein netter, kleinerer Ort mit tollen Restaurants und ein idealer Startpunkt zum Erkunden der Algarve. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Besonders begeistert war ich von dem Außenbereich mit Pool, Whirlpool und Außenküche! Auch die Lage war perfekt - total ruhig und mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der Stadt und am Strand. Die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert und ich konnte sogar früher einchecken. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet! Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

It is very clean, but it is not in a separate location, just in the bedroom with glass dividers. It worked for us, but just different. Everything else was amazing. The location was great, the food was incredible and everyone was so nice and helpful!

• Michael (1/5): We had originally booked two nights here but left after the first night and just lost the value of second night. When w - Other than the breakfast, which was generally okay, there was very little to like about this property. The pictures do not represent the reality of this place. It is purely a B&B and by no means a “boutique” hotel. The room we had was very small, had no windows, the door to the bathroom inside a tiny room was clear glass with zero privacy, the air conditioner was old and positioned over top of the bed and, to top it off, there were ants crawling around in the bed. Many ANTS just all over the sheets. We had been traveling at this point for 2 weeks and otherwise had a good experience in Portugal but the place was major disappointment.

Marlene and Connie are incredible hosts, and have thought of every little thing you might need for a relaxing stay. It felt like they were genuinely delighted to welcome us to the b&b. The breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had, with Marlene presenting breakfast “surprises” daily, and different health shots and juices daily to match. The b&b is so peaceful, and walks through the surrounding fields are a treat. Comfy beds, extremely clean rooms, jacuzzi and beautiful pool with fully equipped pool kitchen, beach equipment for use, you can’t ask for more! We hope to stay again one day.

The breakfast was gorgeous. Marlene and Connie are fantastic hosts. This is a real gem, especially for adults looking to get off the beaten path. Pool was delightful. Marlene recommended a neighbourhood Tapas Bar within walking distance. It was the perfect ending to our holiday and the food was very very good! We would book again. OK, I’m a light sleeper and sometimes hone into the “odd noise” which in this case was the automatic bathroom (inside) fan which was triggered every time I would use the bathroom at night. Only lasted 30 min and shut down automatically.

• Ryan (6/5): Wouldn’t do it again, but I can see why some would like it - The patio on the rooftop unit was beautiful, with a mini pool, a table and chairs, multiple loungers, an umbrella, and a sofa. There was also cooking equipment. It’s a great location and the hosts were very nice. The room itself is very, very small. It’s difficult to even open your suitcase. There’s no privacy whatsoever - they installed a toilet and shower into an already small room, dividing these things with tempered, semi-see-through glass that doesn’t go to the ceiling, so you will hear and smell every moment of your partner using the bathroom. There was a significant ant problem during our two nights there and now we’re finding the ants in our stuff at the next stop. The dishwasher didn’t actually clean our stuff. It can be very windy on the roof, to the point that the heavy umbrella blew over and hit me in the head. If the water in the shower hits the shower door, the water then POURS out the bottom into the room. So you have to be careful in the already cramped shower to not let the water hit the door. The bed was not comfortable for me, but others may like it. It gets very bright in the room by 6 am and it’s impossible to block out the light at two of the windows. Despite charging 450 euros a night, they charge even for stuff like orange juice in the mini bar, but only accept cash when you use Booking or Expedia. This is inconvenient of a modern business.

• Rachel (10/5): A wonderful, quiet B&B with everything you need for a great holiday. - What an absolute gem of a B&B. Tucked away just outside of Praia da Luz but an easy 20 minute walk into town. Marlene and Conny were the perfect hosts and the breakfast is absolutely incredible. Probably the best breakfast we have ever had! There were lots of little extras that were included at the hotel too which was so thoughtful. A wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back!

• Martin (10/5): - Where does one begin to even say how amazing one's stay at Casa Luisandra Boutique Hotel B&B is :) Your hosts, Marlene & Conny, I remain speechless. They are so wonderful and welcoming to their home. I tip my hat to them because they look after their worldwide guests in an extra special way. I could write a novel on the entire stay but one simply needs to venture to their property to experience top-notch, first-class treatment at every turn. The morning 'surprise' juice shot, fresh smoothie and orange juice was something I so looked forward to. Breakfast every morning... WOW! I was fortunate to stay with Marlene & Conny for a week and cannot wait to return. I am in the tourism industry so this review is genuine. I so enjoyed unwinding by their beautiful pool each afternoon and the views from everywhere throughout their property were breathtaking. The quiet backyard with a clean pool, comfy lounge chairs, well kept grounds and the pleasant smell of the fig tree felt like a little oasis, that made us relax just within a few hours after arriving. We walked to the next town with wonderful restaurants or to the beach every day or did go on hikes. If you are looking for a quiet place that is still close to a lot of fun things to do, Casa Luisandra is your place. The breakfast was as good as all the other reviews promised. We enjoyed the daily healthy shots, the smoothie and surprises a lot. I actually do have some food intolerances and am therefore on a very limited diet. I asked beforehand if there’s an option for gluten free bread or if I should bring something. Marlene and Conny actually baked homemade gluten free bread and rolls for me, also they adjusted the daily surprises so I could have them too! Anyone on a limited diet knows how much that means, I actually had tears in my eyes saying bye on the last day. The rooms, bathrooms and grounds are very clean and well kept. I actually think it was the first vacation place I stayed, where I did not feel uncomfortable using the shower or walking bare foot! There are a couple of things that come naturally with staying at a lot of vacation destinations, like changing or hard to control water temperature or thin walls. Since everything else was so perfect, this would be complaining on a very high level though. Thanks again!

There was plenty to eat, along with a delicious home-made smoothie. We wish the breakfast was served a little earlier, especially on our day of departure. When we told the hosts that we were leaving a little early, we wish they would have offered to accommodate us with a few items since breakfast was included with our stay.

Peaceful, clean, refreshing pool, close to sites and restaurants but just out enough to feel extremely private. The hosts were friendly and always helpful and the made to order breakfast was always a pleasure! Especially the morning juice shot and smoothie! Hope to return one day.

It would grace any 5star hotel. 3 juices - orange, a smoothie & a tonic; fresh fruit; cold meats; cheese & salmon. Choice of cooked breakfast; Limitless coffee, etc. And a surprise, which ranged from a mini pizza to a cheese & ham tart. This is no ordinary B&B; this is a boutique hotel. One has free access to pool; barbecue; lounge with balcony. Wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks available for purchase. There is free parking. Uber takeaway deliveries. It is close to Lagos & Luz but quiet and airy. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The hosts are wonderful. Marlene, Conny, son Pele & Jazz (cat) all intent upon making your stay wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and they want you to feel 'at home' - the front of the house and garden is for guests, whilst the family lives at the back of the property. This Boutique Hotel is as close to perfect as one can get. Nothing! Considering the size of the property and what one might expect, it exceeds all expectations.

• Andras (10/5): Amazing boutique B&B with a pool, no kids - Amazing boutique B&B, lovely hosts! Wonderful boutique B&B in a lovely part of the Algarve. The hosts are lovely and made our five day stay very special. Our room (Nr 2) was large and faced the pool. The pool is fantastic, very quiet (no kids in this B&B!) and there is no fight for sun beds. We spent a lot of time under the huge fig tree by the pool. Breakfast was always excellent, with daily surprises and a nice selection of food (also healthy options eg musli, fruits, seeds etc). The B&B is a 20 min walk from Luz centre and a five min drive to Lagos. This area is great if you want yo avoid the crowds and mass tourism.

• sabine (10/5): Toller Aufenthalt - Wir können das Casa Luisandra nur loben. Freundliche Besitzer, die alles managen und ein tolles frühstück mit täglich wechselnden Leckereien servieren. Die Zimmer sind sehr chic. Wir hatten eine Dachterrasse mit Extrabett darauf, so dass wir in der Nacht die Sterne sehen konnten. Das einzige kleine Manko war die Nespressomaschine, da hätte man sich ein umweltfreundlicheres System überlegen können. Ansonsten waren wir sehr sehr sehr zufrieden.
• Ali (10/5): What an amazing experience - What a wonderful stay, Marlene the owner and her husband take care of all your needs. This isnt your classic hotel stay. You are basically staying with friends. Highlights: Breakfast is insanely awesome, The barbecue station we used for charcoal grilling has everything you need, the two rooms that go out to the pool are amazing. I would recommend a car to be more mobile from there. Oh and wild horses live outside.
